Hello you all who are following me and to the people who have given my fanfic a favorite. I
really appreciate it! Seriously thank you! I'm not a very good writer, I don't have any schooling
for it but I'm doing the best that I can. From what I've gotten in the few reviews that I have that I'm actually doing a good job. For that, thank you. I've been on vacation in Chicago for the past couple of weeks so I haven't been able to post for a while. Also been sick the past few days… Sorry about the long wait. As well as I completely forgot my login… YAY! Anyway, Shepard is recovering from her near death fall with Tony.

N7 SHIELD

Chapter Nine

"I'm not picking anything," Shepard grumbled as her suit peeled off of her, exposing her clothes to the cold room.

"Jarvis, what the hell? Close the bay doors." Tony yelled as machines took off his armor for him, standing as stiff as he could.

"Apologizes sir." A mechanical voice sounded off. The large doors to the docking bay closed slowly, the wind picking up speed. A few papers spun around the three of them, nobody tried to grab them. Merely watch them flutter around for a few seconds to be swept outside. The doors closed excessive metallic crunches. Shepard shivered, she'd never get used to the sounds the ship made. She was used to her quite beauty, not this hulky death trap. The machines that took off Tony armor began to set their suits back inside the display cases.

"Food? Anyone?" Rogers looked at Tony in disbelieve that he would be hungry after all that.

"I work better on a full stomach. Sense we're not going anywhere anytime soon, I'm gonna eat something. Finding the Cube isn't exactly a ball in the park. It'll take Doctor Banner awhile. Stop fussing and just sit back and enjoy," Tony said as he grabbed a bag of potato chips off the floor. He opened the bag, leaning against the wall. Slowly he ate the chips.

"You flung my snacks around too, that's not okay. Don't worry about the papers, I'll have someone pick up them. But, my snacks. No, you're picking those up." Tony pointed to the small bags of chips spread across the floor. Shepard cocked a black eye brow, a small devious smile

"You think so?" Shepard asked him. A chip halfway into his mouth, he stopped, looked at her then bit down.

"Yes," He smiled all cocky. She could only shake her head, she lifted her left arm, palm stretched out, dark blue energy flowed from her hands towards the scattered small bags across the floor. Gathering every single one of them, bobbing in the air. She gently placed the heap of bags on Tony's table. Rogers and Tony stood on opposite sides of the small room looking in disbelieve.

"That's cheating." Tony protested as he ate another chip. Shepard rolled her eyes, she motioned her hand as though she were grabbing something. She threw the heap of bags at Tony, striking him in every place she hope she'd hit. He shouted in anger when he dropped his current bag of chips, losing them to the heap. About to gripe at Shepard, he looked up to see he was alone.

Shepard leaned against her small cot, she felt dirty, unclean, filthy. Looking down at her clothes, she was. Her clothes were soaked with sweat and grim. She felt greasy, she didn't like that feeling. She checked the clock, almost certain no one would be in the shower rooms at four AM. She grabbed her toothbrush and headed for the closest crew shower room. Leaning into the room, checking for crewmembers, noticing several female crewmembers were taking showers. Shepard sneered, she'd have to wait. She didn't want to share a shower room with people, she was used to her private washroom. Suddenly, a thought popped into her mind, the men's shower room. Shepard grinned evilly as she grabbed a towel from the women's washroom. Scaling the halls in a hurry, moving past crew members as she scurried around them. Reaching the men's locker room, she used her biotics to open the small door, lucky enough not to have anyone inside. She peered inside the shower room, nobody was in sight. Smiling, she began to unzip her jumpsuit as she strolled into the large empty shower room. She removed all of her clothing placing them on a concrete bench on the far side of the room, close enough to use her biotics to grab her towel if need be. Sliding into the warm water, she groaned with delight. A few days had passed since she had taken a good shower, as well as being alone was a gift. She took it all in, loving every second of the water that spilled over her body. She shampooed her long blonde hair making it feel like silk, her skin felt radiant as she washed off the grim. As she reached to turn off the water, she heard a door open and close to the locker room. Quickly turning off the water, she used her biotics just in time to cover herself with the large white towel as Steve Rogers walked into the shower room with a towel wrapped around his waist, his hands full of hygiene supplies.

"Oh! I'm sorry!" He yelled as he turned around, his face turning a radiant red. Shepard smiled, wrapping the towel around herself.

"What? Don't like what you see?" She asked, flirting with him. Rogers tried to look behind his shoulder only to turn back around to blush. Shepard put a hand on her waist, still flirting with him, making him squirm. Rogers looked behind his shoulder one last time, Shepard was right behind him. He liked her, but didn't know how to tell her. He finally turned facing her, his face still bright red. He smiled slightly as he brushed a few wet hairs away from her eyes.

"I'm not good… I don't have a lot of experience with," He sighed, his shoulders drooped in defeat as he sighed. Shepard sighed, grabbed his shoulders and pressed her lips to his. Rogers tensed only slightly before he relaxed, dropping his hygiene supplies, returning her kiss. He wrapped his arms around her, tightening his hold on her body.

"Well what do we have here?" Tony whistled, a smirk grew across his face. Shepard stopped kissing Rogers, letting go of him, Rogers let go of her as though he did something wrong.

"Get out!" Shepard yelled, pushing him into the door to the locker room with her biotics until he panicked, rushing back into the locker room. She turned back to Rogers, who looked at her startled.

"He ruined it didn't he?" Shepard asked as she grabbed on Rogers fingers.

"Not completely, it's easy to forget about Stark." He whispered, gluing himself back to her. Wrapping his arm around her, the other cradling her neck as he kissed her.
