You guys. I am so so so sorry for such a long delay. I moved back in with my mother only to move out a week later into my own apartment.. So as you guys can tell, I've been super busy. I'm currently, trying to remember what's supposed to happen here, it's been a process, but I haven't forgotten about you guys. It's just going to be a while.

Anyways, The Infernal Instruments is a go. Five chapters and 43,700 words, I'd say that's pretty good. Anyways, On to Cherry.. Maybe.

All day Clary couldn't focus. She was sitting at lunch, her hand propped under her chin for support, she could barely keep her eyes open. She was so tired. Maybe she could close her eyes for just a moment and everything would be okay. The sounds of the lunch room faded. Darkness encompassed her and she smiled to herself.

"Clare?" She faintly heard Simon's voice in the back of her mind. "Clary wake up," Simon told her, she felt her body begin to move. He was shaking her shoulder. She opened her eyes to look up at her brother.

"I was just resting my eyes," Clary yawned.

"Mhmm," Simon murmured with a laugh, "Sure you were," He rolled his eyes. Clary took the time to survey her surroundings. Jace was sitting directly across from Simon, next to Isabelle.

"Perhaps you should sleep at home instead of at school, Cherry," Jace commented with an arrogant smirk. "It would do you good,"

"Maybe you should keep out of my business, Ponyboy," Clary snapped, her face set in a glare.

"Clary," Simon scolded her. She turned her glare on him, but couldn't seem to hold the gaze any longer and her face fell. She could force herself to apologize though. She gave an exasperated sigh and rolled her eyes. She felt her chest tighten as Simon's eyes bore down on her.

"What ever, Si," She forced and grabbed her untouched sandwich. She took a bite, and her stomach immediately turned. She felt dizzy, as if she was about to throw up. The entire room faded away and she couldn't focus.

"You okay Clary?" Isabelle had concern written all over her face, "You look kinda green," She continued. The room was beginning to spin and Clary closed her eyes.

"Go get mom," Clary looked at Simon, her eyes pleading him. He understood.

"Don't let her get up," Simon told Izzy. He stood quickly and rushed toward the art room. Izzy rushed to Clary's side, not knowing exactly what was going on. Clary closed her eyes and took a calming breath. She needed to relax. She focused on the chain around her neck, but just as she was beginning to calm down her stomach lurched again. She placed her hands on either side of her face and placed her forehead on her knees.

"She's having a panic attack," Jace's words wereechoing in Clary's mind. Gently she nodded her head and closed her eyes again. Jace motioned for Izzy to move, and he silently took her place. Jace gently put his hands over hers and lifted her head.

"Clary. Listen to me. You're okay. You're perfectly fine. Nothing can hurt you," He whispered to her. "C'mon Cherry. You're fine. Focus on breathing," Jace's voice filled her head and she concentrated on her breathing. Slow steady breaths that would help her reach normalcy. Clary heard footsteps nearing her and she squeezed her eyes shut, she gasped for air. "Clary calm down," Jace spoke again.

"Clary," Her mother whispered worriedly from beside Simon. Jace was gently talking to her, and Jocelyn couldn't stand the sight of her daughter like that. "Simon you have to get her out of here. Take her to her car and take her home," Jocelyn instructed but Simon looked at his adoptive mother wide eyed.

"But I can't drive her car," Simon told her, Jocelyn rolled her eyes and dug the keys to her Mazda 6.

"Fine take mine, just get her home. I don't care what it takes. Make sure you take her straight to her room. Don't leave her alone," Jocelyn instructed.

"Okay," Simon took the keys and moved toward his adoptive sister. He knelt beside her, rubbing small circles on her back. "Clare-bear, I'm gonna take you home now. You're going to be okay. I just have to pick you up," Simon told her. Clary's eyes looked far away, she sighed and pulled her eyes together once again.

"It hurts," Clary barely whispered.

"I know," Simon bent to pick her up into his arms and Clary grabbed onto Jace's hands as a last resort. She didn't want to be moved. Simon took a closer look at Clary, her pupils were dilated and constantly shifting around the room in fear, her jaw clenched tight, her hands gripping Jace's wrists tightly. She hadn't slept enough, lack of sleep had led to her having a panic attack, now she was hallucinating. Simon wouldn't have to ask to know what she was seeing. It was always the same, every single time.

"Clary, let go of him," Jocelyn scolded and Simon raised his hand.

"She can't hear you," Simon told her in a hushed tone. Jocelyn looked confused, but nodded her head. Simon had only seen Clary like this once before. He knew that nothing good would come out this. "Jace pick her up and follow me," Simon told the blonde and watched as the boy nodded. He made Clary release him before he picked her up bridal style and followed Simon. Everyone stared at them as they exited the cafeteria toward the teacher's parking lot. Jace tried to gently put Clary into the backseat, but she latched onto him again.

"Jonathan," She whispered and Jace swallowed harshly.

"Just get in the damn car," Simon told Jace. Jace nodded and slid into the back seat. Clary squeezed her eyes shut and Simon sighed. He didn't know how to deal with this, but he had to figure it out. For Clary. Just as Simon started the car Isabelle came sprinting toward the car.

"Is she going to be okay?" Izzy panted as she looked at Simon wide eyed. Simon was speechless for a moment.

"Y-yeah, She'll be fine," Simon stuttered out.

"I'd really like to help, in any way I can," Izzy looked at Clary with worry filling her eyes.

"Get in," Simon told her and Isabelle got into the passenger seat. Simon started the car and headed for home. Simon pulled in the driveway, making sure to be as close to the front door as humanly possible. Si unlocked the front door and went straight to the kitchen. He grabbed a glass of water and an ice pack. Jace had settled on the couch with Clary's head in his lap, her hand still clutching his sleeve. the nerd watched his sister wince and groan at the obvious torture going on inside her head.

"I'll be right back," Simon excused himself again to retrieve the garbage can from the kitchen. The last time this had happened Clary had been sick for hours. He settled back on the loveseat, Izzy beside him as they watched Clary. Hours seemed to pass before she sat up, sweat covering her, she was gasping for breath. Confusion replaced the fear that lit up her face. Simon jumped into action again, taking the ice pack and placing it on her forehead.

"Si?" Clary questioned. Her breaths were still short, making her chest rise and fall quickly.

"You're fine Clare. Just had another episode is all. You're fine," He repeated the words and Clary nodded. Izzy handed her the glass of water and Clary sipped it generously.

"Thank you," Clary said. Embarrassment flaming on her cheeks.

"Are you going to be sick?" Simon asked, changing the subject.

"No. It was shorter this time. Not as vivid. I think I'll be fine," Clary place her head on Simon's shoulder. He smiled and nodded as she pulled away. "I need a shower," She complained and Simon nodded.

"You smell like you skipped one this morning," Simon joked. She laughed, shoving his chest. He stood, helping her to her feet. "Izzy is going to keep you company, to make sure you're okay," Simon gave no room for complaint. Clary just nodded and the girls climbed the stairs. Simon put the trash can where it belonged then took a seat on the loveseat again.

"Who's Jonathan?"Jace asked, he'd been extremely quiet the entire time. Simon bit his lip, contemplating what to say.

"Her brother," Simon answered as vaguely as he could.

"You're her brother," Jace said.

"I'm adopted," Simon stated.

"So he's her biological brother. Shouldn't you call him or something. Tell him what happened," Jace was trying to ease into the subject, but Simon didn't want to give anything up.

"I would if I could, but he's dead," Simon stood, a sad expression masked his face before he escaped into the kitchen.

Okay. Been a really long time, but I figured a little something is better than nothing.
