A year has past since the beach. Keitaro's school was starting to get them ready for the college exams. As the three boys walked home together, Shirai chuckled while he looked at a picture Kagami sent him of her getting ready to work at the Temple. "You guys are lucky!" Haitani grumbled. "Keitaro gets pictures of Konata in cosplay, Shirai get's ones of Kagami."

"Then work on getting your own girlfriend!" Shirai shot back.

"Keitaro how old were you when we met Konata online?"

"Umm... Fourteen? It was after the game came out. You both know we met in person back at con. She was fifteen and I was sixteen."

"You two started dating last year along with Shirai and Kagami."

"Yeah... I'm eighteen, she's seventeen. Your point?"

"I don't have one... I was just trying to figure out how you two landed your girls."

"It's called having a personality and we both didn't just try to hit on them the second we opened our mouths..." Shirai muttered as he texted back Kagami.

"I have personality!" The other two chuckled at this. "Hey Keitaro exams are starting. You going to try for Tokyo University?"

"No, I told you I'm looking into an art and design school." He noticed both his friends sigh in relief at this. "What?"

"We though you were hung up on that promise still."

"I... actually forgot about it. But I mean that girl from back then must have a boyfriend and everything by now. Besides I think she would be happy to know I'm happy with someone."

"Yeah man! I mean look at you now. You're more outgoing and actually fun to be around."

"I was fun before!"

"NO..." Both Haitani and Shirai teased. At this point both Shirai and Keitaros phones buzzed.

"Least you guys can do is hook me up with someone..." Haitani pouted.

Konata waited outside of the cosplay cafe she worked at. Haruka agreed to pick her up from work. Keitaro and the rest of the gang were taking a train to the hotel so they could visit Grandma Hina.

"I hope Kagami doesn't mind hulling my bag too." She thought out load. "I couldn't just bring it to work."

"Hey..." Haruka called as she waved.

"Hey, thanks for picking me up. This saves everyone else from having to wait on me to catch the early train. Is everyone else at the hotel?"

"They made it safe and sound." The two then started to head for the car. "How was work?"

"It was a lot of fun as usual. You should come again and cosplay with us."

"I don't watch much of that stuff to know who to dress as. I'm going to drop you off at the hotel; You guys can meet us at my shop when you're ready."

"Sounds good, we can bring the game we've been working on for you guys to see."

"How's that going?"

"Really good! We finished enough to get a full playable demo. Haitani was able to get a few big names to take a look at it. We're waiting for a call back to get an investor."

"How long ago was that?"

"A few weeks ago, nothing yet but we have to remember we are one in a hundred they get in at a time."

With that, the two climbed into the car as Haruka drive off.

"Finished the artwork for two of the levels and mobs. With the script Kagami gave me I was able to design it more to the feel we wanted to give the player." Keitaro said from the desk in their room. Shirai sat next to him as he ran the script for the game. Haitani and Kagami sat on one of the beds with their own laptops working. "Making them hard copy into the game shouldn't be too hard; I tried to keep them simple enough so the frames won't crash the game."

"Easy enough yes, but we are going to need money to fund some of this."

"I looked into a few places we can ask for donations. People can play the demo then donate to use to finish the game. In return we can give goals and gifts like Keitaro's artwork for the game and early access to some of the games stages."

"What about the goals?" Kagami asked.

"Well we let them know what we are trying to add to the game. Unlockable characters, levels, powers, weapons, multiplayer, online game play. We list them in the order we know we can add them in time with the money we earn."

"So if people are interested in multiplayer then they will push to give us that amount in the time we need?"

"Yeah! Along with what amount they give we add gifts and perks to it. Like if someone gave us fifty dollars in US, enough to buy the game then we give them a copy of the game. We can also add artwork, soundtracks, and such to what they get when the game comes out. But we have to be careful about what we do with that."

"Yeah, heck even if we made enough to make the game then we still fail to do so... no one is going to want anything to do with us." Shirai added. "People will think we just walked away with their money."

"Our best bet right now is to get in with an actual game company. We show we can keep up with a big name then people will trust us to work on our own." Kagami said before closing her laptop. "Hey Keitaro are we going to see your grandmother tonight?"

"Yeah, later after Konata gets here we are going to meet at the tea shop my Aunt runs."

After a few hours later a knock on the door rang though the room. Keitaro answered only to get jumped by Konata in a hug. The two laughed as Haruka smiled from the doorway.

"I'm going to hang around town for a bit. When you guys are ready then call me so I can take us to visit Granny."

Hinata Urashima sat at her daughters tea house. It was closed to the public before she left to get Konata. Sipping her tea she waited for Keitaro and his friends to show, eager to meet this girlfriend of his. She was told by Haruka after she went to spy for her, and the few visits to her work that Konata was a kind and nice person. Also that she looked a lot younger for her age. Then from her son she was told that they liked how she changed Keitaro. A feeling of guilt hit her at this point. She felt she should have trusted Keitaro. If he was happy with this person then why should she go behind his back like this?

She sighed before hearing the talking coming from outside the shop. Readying herself she waited for them to enter. "Hello everyone!"

"Hey Granny!" Keitaro called back as he entered with Haruka. "I know you met Haitani and Shirai before. I'd also like you to meet Kagami-" The purple hair girl waved. "and Konata my girlfriend."

Hinata was taken aback by the small blue haired girl. "I've heard a lot about you from my daughter. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too." Konata said as she hugged Keitaro. "So what are we going to do tonight?"

"I was thinking we could all go see a movie then eat. I also heard you had a video game you wanted to show me?"

"Yeah, it's one we've been working on for a long time now. It's close to being done but we need to get an investor before we can finish. It's grew into something big!"

"Well... I might have to give it a try! Believe it or not, I enjoy playing games every now and again."

"You never told me how cool your Grandma was Keitaro."

Laughing as they came back up the stairs to the tea shop the group waited for Haruka to lock the door. Haitani was caught off guard as his phone rang. Excusing himself he went to answer it as they entered.

"So Keitaro I've been wanting to ask you about what college your trying for?"

"I've been looking into an art and design school that's actually not too far away from here. They also teach computer programming and graphic design."

"Oh? That sounds interesting... so your not trying for Tokyo University?"

Keitaro only laughed as he scratched the back of his head. "Nah... I think I found something I actually enjoy doing. Art has always been my thing. Besides, the school I'm looking into is one of the best in the country for what I want to do."

"Guys!" Haitani shouted as he burst into the shop. "You wont believe who called!"

"No way!" Kagami and Konata exclaimed.

"Arc System Works! They want to set up a meeting Monday!"

The group of youths cheered. Keitaro and Konata hugged as they jumped up and down. Kagami and Shirai kissed before breaking away with a deep blush on their cheeks. Haitani ran and tackled Keitaro and Konata. "We did it guys! We really did it!"

Hinata and Haruka just watched with smiles filling their cheeks. "Well Granny... I think Keitaro is going to do just fine."

"I think so too. They all look so happy! Even Kanako has made friends because of them. I think I can take my world tour knowing Keitaro is in good hands."
