"That really couldn't wait just a few more seconds Chase?" Cameron asked, getting irritated all over again when she walked into the conference room seeing her two colleagues sitting around, not looking too busy. "And you're sure nobody else could have handled that?" She sat down next to them with a huff. The blood could wait a few minutes. She needed to talk over what she just heard with the others. "Well, we both thought you handled it like a pro!" Chase retorted. "Oh yeah, and thanks for handing off the bitchy mother to me." She said sarcastically. "It was our pleasure." Foreman said evilly with a chuckle, clearly enjoying himself, as he leaned back in his chair and put his arms behind his head.
"Yeah, well don't get too comfortable over there." House said, as he walked (limped) into the room with his cane in hand. He went over to the white board and picked up the marker. He looked over at Cameron and asked, "Well? What'd ya find?"
"He didn't seem too terrible, I got a few blood samples from him that we can look over. He has a severe rash covering most of his lower extremities that he says has possibly increased in severity since last he noticed. He told me he fell and had a panic attack."
"What, and you believed him?" House asked incredulously. "And if that were true, where did the rash come from?" The Aussie piped up.
"Of course not." Cameron said to House definitively. "He had just gotten candy at one house, and I think he might've eaten some bad candy or something, when he 'tripped' and fell then couldn't get up. He experienced a weakness and numbing sensation throughout all extremities, saying they tingled. Then he began to hyperventilate as he recounted what had happened and went on a bit of a rant. I think he imparted more information than he meant to." She said somewhat smugly, then continued, "He said that the voices of his friend sounded off, like they were far away and his vision blurred. When they tried to help him up, he had no control over either his arms or his legs. Then after a few seconds he was fine."
"Right." House said. "Ideas, people?"
Sorry this one is so short, but I am so so excited that this has come so far! It makes me so happy to see how many views and favorites and followers I have. I want to thank each and every one of you for the support, and though I am an EXTREMELY slow poster, it will all come together in the end and I appreciate everyone's patience. I hope it was worth the wait! Let me know your thoughts so far, and I'll be doing my research in strange illnesses with rashes! Thanks again to everyone for motivating me, and now I'll shut up and get back to writing. :)
