Guess what? CHAPTER NINE! Can you believe it ladies and gentlemen, I've finally got NINE chapters of this story. I feel so happy, then I look at some stories with like 120 for example, then I feel like a complete scrub. #sigh# I suck at life. Whatever, I shall continue this story for a long time, or until I can no longer do so. With that, let's see what happens to the protagonist now, shall we?
Chapter Nine
The Quest Begins
I couldn't move. There was no way I could. After all, any being that has a shred of sanity would know the fear of what I was experiencing.
Heroinebrine: Respond human, I need you to speak so that I can make sure you understand the situation.
Understand? How could I understand anything! This crazy bitch can hope between systems like Mario can hope between turtles, and if I heard Paarthurnax correctly (why am I relying on fictional dragons for advice?) She was HAUNTING ME!
I trembled, feeling like a stripped child facing a thunderstorm brewed by a god. I could barely stand as I tried to formulate a response... with no luck. What do you say to a ghost with the ability to transmit it's self between electrical appliances? What would happen is I said something wrong?
In the end, all I could do is tremble and stare at the poltergeist on the screen. This seemed to disappointed her as she appeared to have done a motion of shaking her head side to side, which was strange to watch, seeing that it was just the sprite changing constantly until she stopped.
Heroinebrine: Where was the bravery I saw earlier? The person that wouldn't just sit and tremble, but speck in a clear voice, loud enough for all to hear? The one how would dare deify me, yet still comfort me for doing something wrong to him?
She seemed to be tearing up, sad at seeing the boy behind the minecraftian. Did she really think that that I would really be able do those things while she does such frightening things? To comfort her while she posses a electrical object that doesn't even exist in her own world?
All I could think of was my fear, how scared I was of this being. But then I looked into her eyes. Those soft blue eyes... For some reason, I felt sad when I looked into those eyes. They where as if they where the mirrors into her soul... the power she wielded was frightening, but those eyes... I... I couldn't look away.
Having your eyes looked on another person's eyes did not restrict my surrounding vision however. With her eyes, I also saw her face. It looked so soft, smooth, completely free of any blemish. It looked... perfect...
WHAT!? What did I just think!? There's no way, no, impossible, she must have some type of power to channel energy to her eyes and use them to hypnotize others with. Yes, that's it. I wouldn't let this pass. My mind is MINE! I will not let anyone else have control of it, NO ONE!
I growled at the haunt, giving her my best evil glare. Her sprite appeared shocked, if not a little frightened, because of this. She was also blushing and her eyes turned a purplish tint. Did she realize that her magic would not work on me? Good, She will remember it, or I swear to as many varies entities as I can think of at the moment I'll gut the bitch!
On the bright side, my fear was gone, though it might not have been such a good idea by the higher ups in my mind that anger was a good replacement. I kept my glare as she stopped blushing, and her sprite turned into what looked like she was unsettled.
Heroinebrine: C... cou... could y... you st... stop...
Is she trying to get me to submit through subtle seduction! How dare she try such a thing! I replied with "Sure, as long as you could kindly go fuck yourself."
Her sprite changed into a really surprised, and heavily blushing one. It was very satisfying, considering what she put me through. I couldn't repress my grin. She seemed to blush even more now for some reason. Does she like being teased? My grin becomes wider thinking of all the fun I could have with this information.
Heroinebrine: P... please stop that...
"Stop what?" I replied grinning. This was really fun, like mocking a little kid... shut up, you know it's funny when you do it.
Heroinebrine: with th... that smile...
She seemed to be getting a better grip on herself, and I let her recover. After all she had to talk to me about something, so I might as well listen. When she had a better grip on her emotions,(and her sprite changed to the one we all normally know), she managed to start 'talking' again.
Heroinebrine: I need you to do something for me.
I raised an eyebrow and replied, "And what would that be?"
Heroinebrine: I... I need your help with the others...
Others... what does she mean by others. I mean, that seems to have to wide of a selection. Could she mean others like her? But would take WAY to long. Maybe she meant something else? But what?
I asked, "What do you mean by others?"
Heroinebrine: The... The other mob talker girls...
… Now that seems like it would take a while. She seemed to notice my hesitation because her sprite changed (she was waving her hands in front of herself and blushing) as she hastily said,
Heroinebrine: Just with talking with them, nothing too bad!
I replied, while grinning, "I don't know, that could take a while..."
Heroinebrine: PLEASE! I really need your help!
She looked like she was begging, I could tell by how she was looking at me with blue eyes again (they seem to do that when she changes emotions) and had her arms to her side, her pick drooping to the ground. I'm such a sucker for sad women.
"Fine," I said, "I'll help you with your problem, IF, you can do something for me as well."
Heroinebrine: What's that?
" I want you to live with my character."
She looked surprised, I could tell by the fact that she was wide-eyed, and had her mouth gaping. This time, her eyes where green. All I could do was grin as she stared at me in shock. I found it pretty funny that she was that shocked. And to be honest, I was a little surprised with myself as well, until I realized that I could keep mocking her if she were to live with my character. Sometimes I live my quick thinking mouth. After a time her expression changed from shocked to determined.
Heroinebrine: Fine, I'll do it, as long as you help me.
"Agreed, we'll get started tomorrow."
Heroinebrine: Tomorrow?
"Yes, I have some things to do first, so you will have to wait, that is, unless you don't want my help"
Heroinebrine: Okay, tomorrow it is.
I smiled I slipped my shoes on. This was going to be fun, but first, Today is Thursday, and it's about time for gamers guild...
Well, how was that? Was it a decent chapter? Look out for chapter 10, where I swere to you, I will have a decently long chapter. Oh, I also want to know what you guys would like to happen next in the story. It just might happen.
Anyways, Fear the Jabberwok,
The insanescientiest
