Final chapter! I really hope you love Asch's 'final chapter'.

Chapter 9: I'm home

Okay, what had happened so far? Even I didn't really understand. Few days passed and I still didn't get the answer I wished for. And for some reason, I felt something was off. It was like... I wasn't really... full. Like... something was missing. I tried to recall it, but I couldn't.

"Luce, wake up," I heard someone called me. I groggily opened my eye and saw a quilava was laying on me. I sighed and closed my eye again. Suddenly, my brain told me something. "Wait, a quilava?!" I said, surprised. "What is it, Luce?" the quilava seemed to be talking! I quickly pushed the quilava away, which woke the quilava up. "Hey, what's wrong with you?" someone grabbed my hand. I saw the hand, a human hand, and sighed in relieve. "What was that sigh for?" Asch asked.

"Nothing," I answered. Well, my memories as a buizel and my memories prior to being a buizel were as clear as day. But, for some reason, my memories bugged me. My life and the buizel Luce's life were so similar in so many ways. First, both of us were named Luce and it came from a flower. Second, both of us lost an eye. And the last, but not the least, for some reason, the names of those who were close to us were similar. For example, Asch and Dia. It was scary that even their personality was the same! Asch was very caring, but flirty at time. Dia was... rowdy and lively. Scary!

"Really?" Asch asked again, reassuring. I snapped and quickly shook my head. "Yeah, nothing," I answered. I looked at the quilava. It was yawning and rubbing its eyes. Then, it fell back to sleep with a buizel next to him. "He really loves you, huh?" Asch sighed, "Forget about that. Are you sleeping well last night?" I nodded and yawned. For some reason, he kept bugging me by keep asking me questions. At first, I was a bit pissed. But then again, when he asked me, I felt rather... special. "I'm glad I returned here," I said, hugging a pillow and sighed loudly. "Then why with the sigh?" Asch asked, pinching my cheek softly.

"You have no idea of what I have been through," I said, sighing louder. This time, he pinched my other cheek and, this time, he really pinched me with his power. I yelped in pain and grabbed his hands, but they didn't budge. No way! It hurt like crap! "Oh, yes I do," he said, "Let me tell you something. The story you told was what we experienced."

"I don't give a damn! Stop pinching me! It hurts!" I yelled. My stupid mate - or rather, boyfriend, released my cheeks. "I'm sorry," he said apologetically, rubbing my cheeks. My mind, all of a sudden, was filled with thoughts. A ton of them. What happened to the buizel Luce? What happened to the espeon Dia? What happened to Luce's mom? And most of all, what happened to the quilava Asch? "Hey, do you think Luce and the other was living a peaceful life like we do now?" I asked. Asch snickered and patted my head and asked, "You silly. Do you want to cheat on me again?" I glared at him and scowled. "You cheated on me too!" I said.

"Hey ya sweety couple! Get yer ass up here and grab yer breakfast!" I could someone, who was probably Dia, shouting from the kitchen. I sighed and got up from the bed. "If you got a problem, just tell me," Asch said, "And also. If you need something, just tell me." I nodded and smiled at him. "Thanks," I answered.

"Lu, don't go too far!" I shouted. Well, who's Lu? He's my buizel. Well, seriously. At first, I was shocked when I found out he was my buizel! Perhaps that's the only differences between me and the buizel Luce. "The food was edible, given that it was made by Dia," Asch said. I wouldn't say that if I were him. "Yeah thanks! No dinner for ya," Dia said all of a sudden, rubbing her espeon. See?

"Lu, ya better ferget 'bout that quilava," Dia said, and for some reason, Lu and Asch's quilava looked at her. "Not ya two!" Dia shouted. I laughed, but seriously, it was very obvious that I was laughing half-heartedly. "Well, ya're feeling down lately. Ya should move on!" Dia cheered. Not that I could deny it. I felt somewhat empty. Perhaps I really got attached to Asch. The quilava one.

"I said, ferget that quilava!" Dia said, pinching my cheeks, harder than Asch did! I yelped in pain and desperately hit Dia's hands. "Stop it! Stop it!" I begged. She glared at me and released my cheeks. I sighed in relieve and quickly rubbed my cheeks. I hoped that my cheeks wouldn't get bigger or redder because of those two. "Why don't you help me?" I glared at Asch. Man, he was as obnoxious as Dia! He was holding his laughs and suddenly he burst into laughter!

"No way I will help someone who is planning to cheat on me," he said smirking widely. Urgh. For Arceus's sakes! I didn't plan to cheat on anyone! "If you really love him, then I think I'll love my buizel Luce," he added sarcastically. Now he planned to cheat on me! "What the-?! That's totally no fair!" I said.

"Ya're just greedy, Lu. Ya're just greedy," Dia said. There's totally no need to say 'I'm greedy' twice. "Well, I think I know something that can cheer you up," Asch said, scratching his head, "Or rather, someone. And two of them." I wondered who he was talking about, but I couldn't really guess who. "Then, do ya need ma help?" Dia asked. What were they planning? And... How could they seem to understand each other without saying anything? Telepathy? Could Dia really do that?

"Yes, please do," Asch said. Now I felt left out. "Don't worry. I'll definitely make you feel better," Asch whispered... quite seductively. I shivered, actually because his voice was so soft on my ears. "I don't want something like... that," I said, though my face showed something different and perhaps another part too. My face was boiling red, like a tamato berry. But another part? Well... It was my... meat. "Well, I don't mind sucking you off. Here and now," he whispered again. "But I do mind watchin' both of ya pleasurin' each other. Now get yer' ass movin'!" Dia shouted from afar. Oh thanks Arceus. I took the chance and quickly left Asch. 'I need to get away from him,' I thought.

"So, why are you all here?" the elder asked. To be honest, the elder was very old, but she looked so young that almost everyone couldn't believe she was an elder. Figure. Perhaps it was because her counterpart is a ninetales?

"Well, remember when we said we want to use the crystal ball to search for Lazlo? That time it was just a lie. This time, we really want to do it," Asch said. The elder nodded understandingly and headed for a cupboard. She returned with a mirror, and a piece of paper. "Luce, here's a letter for you from your father," the elder said. I took the letter and started reading it. 'To my flower of life. When you read this, I might not be by your side.' I gasped and unconsciously dropped the letter. Oh Arceus, what happened to my dad?

"I'll read it," Asch said, "To my flower of life. When you read this, I might not be by your side. But don't worry. I'm not saying I'm death. I'm just on a very long journey, and I won't be able to watch you grow. I think I regret it though. I wish I can be by your side. By Sarah's side. Most of all, I wish I can protect you from that lecherous boy called 'Asch'."

Dia laughed uncontrollably when she heard Asch called himself lecherous. "Read the rest, lecherous boy," Dia ordered, gaining a glare and growl from the 'lecherous boy'. Asch cleared his throat and started reading again, "You might be wondering why I left you and your mother. Actually I would like to say, "I'm on a journey to find a way to break the curse." But, then again, I don't think that is what I'm doing. What exactly I do, is leaving my home and family. Leaving is still too kind though. I'm running away," Asch closed his eyes and took a deep breath, "Just what is he doing? Running away?"

I wondered myself. 'Curse'? Dad was cursing me? But why? "Please read the rest," I asked. Asch nodded and cleared his throat again. Why did he need to clear his throat before he started to read? "I just don't want to hurt you. Every time, everyday, I watch you suffer bad luck because of me. I'm the source of your bad luck. I-" "What the heck is dad thinking about?! He? The source of my bad luck? That's even more... outrages than leaving mom!" I yelled all of a sudden. I panted heavily, from exertion, but stopped when I realized that everyone was staring at me, shocked. "What?" I asked.

"I wish you can forget your father. And I wish you can forgive your father. From your useless father, Lazlo," Asch read the rest of the letter, which ultimately pissed me. "Aha! Here he is!" the elder said, showing the mirror to us. I took a glance, but was suddenly interested by what I found. "Dad?!" I said. I took the mirror and held them tightly. I was happy to see my father again. After so many years, I was finally able to see him, even though I didn't really know whether what I saw was real or fake.

"Well, you can take that mirror. Use it as a clue to find him if you wish," the elder said. I nodded at the elder and smiled at her. "Thanks," I said. With the mirror, we could finally find him! "So, ready for another adventure?" Asch asked, grinning at me. I really wanted to wipe his face, or at least his grin, with a mop. Whatever. "I think I can find the answer I'm trying to seek while we're trying to find him. I'm sure of it," I said.

"I think I know what your question is. I'll help you," Asch said. "Don't ferget your buizel and quilava," Dia said, pointing at the jumping buizel and quilava. Lu jumped onto me, which I quickly caught and hugged. "Whoa, easy there," I said, dropping my body onto the couch. Thank Arceus the couch didn't capsize because of our sudden weight. "We're going for a journey soon! I know you will love it!" I said excitedly, petting Lu. Lu purred happily and cried his name, "Bui~!"

"So, will you come with us? Or are you planning on staying here?" Asch asked. The girl sighed and shook her head. "O' course stayin' here! I don't wanna see ya fuck, thank you," she answered, bluntly. If she wasn't talking about me, then I would laugh at the 'lecherous boy'. But, I blushed. And madly like a tamato berry on top of that.

"Well then, I'll go prepare our stuffs. Let's go Fray!" Asch hurriedly and excitedly headed out with his quilava, Fray. Though I guessed he said that because he was as embarrassed as I did. I sighed and started petting Lu again to relieve my stress. Well, while petting him, I was shocked when I found out he was holding an eye patch. "Where did you get that?" I asked. The buizel looked at me curiously before sticking his tongue out. I sighed, but smiled. I took the eye patch and wore it carefully. "You naughty buizel, you," I laughed, "Let's help Asch and Fray." The buizel quickly got up and headed out, following Asch's direction. I got up and bowed to the elder. "Thank you for everything," I said, "And please look after Dia." I gained a loud 'Hey!' from the girl, but I ignored it.

"No need for thanks. I'll do everything for my one-and-only cousin," she said. Well, I wasn't really shocked when she said I'm her cousin. Perhaps I might be shocked when she said it when I was a buizel. Perhaps? "Luce, I got one request. Please look after my idiot brother for me, okay?" she begged. Even if she didn't ask, I would do it. He's my father after all. "Yes, I will," I said, "Well, please excuse me."

Well, me being a buizel? For me, that wasn't really a bad luck. Well, I don't think my 'bad luck' was really a 'bad luck'. It was a 'good luck' instead. And that 'good luck' gave me a ton of experiences. One of them is the experience of being a buizel. It taught me the pain of losing someone you love. But then again, after I lost someone I love, I got another experience! They said, when something end, something new begin. It's the same with my story. My story about being a buizel might end. But, another story will rise soon...

"Well, I guess this not-so-peaceful day is my real home."

The end

I really hope you love... or at least like the story I made. And for everyone who had been reading my story till the end, thank you for your time.
