Leo gasped and quickly lunged towards his younger brothers; successfully tackling them, and himself, out of the lasers pathway. He quickly stood back up, ready to defend the two turtles behind him who had lost their breath from the tackle.

He watched in horror as the laser strayed off and hit a large crate, making the wooden box shrink until it was no more, disappearing with a blood curdling 'pop'.

"The machine which was the machine that failed the first time and also the same machine which was the machine that failed the second time, is the machine that seceded this time!" The Kraang at the firing seat exclaimed with a monotone voice, even though it was rather pleased.

"Great." Karai rolled her eyes in annoyance, "Can we just kill them already? My Father would like to have his vengeance in this lifetime, if you would!" She snapped.

The machine was swung around and aimed at the ninja's. Each turtle quickly dove out of the way as another laser was fired.

"Dudes! I think we should give this thing a name!" Mikey hollered as he did a summersault behind some crates for cover.

"Is this really the time Mikey?!" Donnie shot.

"It's always a good time!" Mikey shot back.

Leonardo flipped over a stray laser beam and then maneuvered around swiftly. He then leapt and tackled Karai, rolling until he was on top, pinning her to the ground. He pressed one of his twin Katana against her throat. "Who did you sell him to?!" He shouted; spitting in her face.

"And I should tell you because…?" Karai inquired.

Leo pressed harder with his sword; skin breaking and blood droplets pinning to sprout. "Who did you sell him to?" He hissed.

Karai rolled her eyes. "You wouldn't," She stated, glancing slightly at the sword before meeting eyes again. "You don't have the guts."

Leo growled, his grip on the Katana tightening. "You really want to make that bet, Karai?" He threatened.

Blood began to trickle down the Kunoichi's neck. It wasn't enough to kill her, but it was still quite frightening.

Another 'pop'ing sound went off followed by a startled cry. Leo quickly spun his head to make sure it wasn't one of his brothers. Karai took her chance. She grabbed her sword that was lying beside her and used her foot to throw Leo off of her.

Two Katanas clashed.

Karai smiled and pushed her sword, making the two extremely close to Leonardo's face. "You sure know how to show a girl a good time, Leonardo. If only you knew how to dance." She maneuvered her sword and pushed off of the ground with her legs; flipping over the turtle.

Leo quickly spun around, causing swords to clash once again. "Who says I don't know how to dance." Leo replied smoothly as he circled his sword around her.

Suddenly Leonardo's other Katana was unsheathed. He held one out to the side, away from his body, it still connected with Karai's, while the other was pressed up against Karai's already scabbed neck.

Karai pushed her back against the wall she had found herself pushed up against. She tilted her head up, trying to avoid to blade as Leo put his face right up in front of Karai's.

Karai cringed and tried to move or at least look away from his piercing blue gaze. "I'll only ask you one more time, Karai." He stated slowly, venom dripping off every word as he narrowed his eyes at the defenseless Kunoichi, "Where is my brother."

"For the last time, Raphael, no! You're too little!" Raph flinched at hearing his full name, especially since it was used by Michelangelo. He glared up at the said turtle that loomed over him.

"Shut up Mikey! I am not!" Raph quickly put his hand over his mouth. His eyes widened at his squeaky voice.

"You are not going to the surface by yourself, Raph! You're way too little!" Donatello appeared next to Mikey, his arms cross and his tone completely serious.

Raph's mouth fell open. His little brothers were planning on bossing him around. This was not happening! "I go topside by myself all the time!" He shot, trying to ignore the highness in his voice and the fact that he was suddenly way shorter than his brothers.

"Well those days are over!" Leo appeared on the other side of Michelangelo and glared down at Raphael. "You're not allowed to go to the surface until you're older."

Raph shook his head. He clenched his fists and growled. "No!" He shouted. "You guys aren't being fair! None of you are the boss of me! Now you all better move outta the way because I'm leaving!" Raph shouted.

The three taller turtles all glanced at each other before sighing. "Nap time." Donnie concluded.

"Nap time?!" Raph shot. He gasped when Donnie bent down and picked him up, cradling him in his arms. "Downnie!" Raph bit his tongue at the lisp. He growled. "Put me down!"

"No, we can play after your nap, ok Raph?" Donnie said calmly but with a touch of sternness in his voice.

Raph shook his head violently. This was not happening! "No!" He shot and struggled and squirmed out of Donatello's grasp.

Raphael twisted himself so he would land on his feet when he hit the ground, but the ground never came. He gave a startled cry when he realized that he was falling into absolute darkness.

He glanced up to see his brothers staring down the hole, smiling and getting smaller as he fell. Raph glared at them and then looked back down at the large blackness that was engulfing him. He put his hands in front of his face and clenched and unclenched them. They were so small. What has happened to him?

Bishop watched as Raphael squirmed restlessly in his sleep on the examination table. The heart monitor that he had hooked the turtle up to beeped rapidly. The child was obviously having a nightmare. Bishop glanced down once again at his notes. The turtle had barely survived the last two tests that had pursued about twelve hours ago and the scientist had decided to let Raph rest for a while until the continued with the others.

The tests had been going smoothly at first; that was until Raphael had woken up. That's where things had become very difficult.

Raphael had a strange fear of needles. The screaming and crying Raphael had been doing as the syringes were pushed and pulled in and out of his body could prove it. Bishop had finally snapped at all the noise and placed Raphael in a forced sleep, only for the nightmares to interrupt his studies.

Bishop snapped out of his thoughts when a small groan sounded in the medium sized lab. He looked over only to find Raphael begin to stir.

The young turtle pried his eyes opened and groggily looked around. Raph had to suppress a shiver when he remembered where he was, but couldn't suppress the whimper when his wondering eyes landed on Bishop.

"I hope you had a nice sleep." Bishop said calmly; pushing himself up off of the desk he had been leaning on. "What were you dreaming about?"

Raph shook his head slowly and furrowed his brow. "I-I don't remember…" He said.

"Shame." Bishop replied as he grabbed an exacto-knife.
