((Hey Guys! I'm so glad that a few of you enjoyed the new chapter! I'm going to work really hard to make sure I keep updating at least a couple times a month. I can't promise more right now because if I do my anxiety will act up and nothing will get done. Plus, I want to take my time with making this story great and not just okay. So, bear with me please. ^_^ Yukino76: Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yami no Sekirei: Of course I remember you! I think I'd be awful if I didn't remember who requested this story. Thank you so much for enjoying the update and being so patient. I pray all is well with you as well. ^_^ ~ Love, Mina))

"Asami!" I hear shouted angrily from the hallway. I groan and gaze at the clock. It is six in the freaking morning! I should have closed the door all of the way!

Sousuke stirred next to me as we hear more shouting. "Hush!" Asami tries to say as quietly as she could but failing to actually do so. "You'll wake up Daddy Ichi and Daddy Sousuke!" Little did they know that they already had woken us.

Akira seemed to let out a loud frustrated groan. "I don't care! Why did you do that?"

"I didn't mean to!" Asami yelled as she ran past our bedroom. "I'm sorry!"

"Ugh…" I turn while groaning and bury my face in Sousuke's shoulder. I could hear him chuckle softly. "S'not funny." I mumble sleepily.

I wasn't able to get much sleep after our soak in the hot spring earlier. As soon as we got out, the baby started their normal dancing around again. I can already tell that this kid is going to be as active as the twins…maybe even more so.

"It's six in the morning." I tell my husband with another groan.

Again, I heard Sousuke chuckle quietly. He settled his hand on my belly and gently rubbed it. "I will get up and put them back to bed." He offered.

I turn my head so I can look up at him gratefully. "Thanks." Usually, I would be the one to do so since half of the time I can't sleep anyway and Sousuke actually has to get up for work. But he knows I'm not really able to run after our kids anymore while I'm pregnant. Plus, he had taken a short leave from work now that I'm close to giving birth.

Akira ran down the hall after his sister. "Hey! "Sorry" isn't good enough when you run away, you brat!"

Sousuke rolled his eyes before he disentangled himself from me and rose from bed. As he walked to the door he was tying his yukata closed. "Asami, Akira." He spoke with authority but not unkindly. I could hear a loud crash which made me sit up.

"What the hell?" I say worriedly. "Are they alright?" I ask my husband. As much as I am annoyed at them I don't want them to be hurt.

Sousuke seemed to sigh. I could tell he wasn't amused anymore. "They are fine." He told me. "Go to sleep. I will be back shortly."

I walk down the hall to my fallen children. I likely spooked them when I emerged from the bedroom, which lead to Asami stopping to look back at me and Akira being a second too late and crashing into his twin sister.

"Ugh…" Akira groaned softly and rubbed his forehead. "What the hell?"

I cleared my throat softly from behind him with my arms crossed. Akira stiffens and looks up at me with a surprised expression. "Uh-oh…"

Asami also looked up at me but with her lower lip plumped out into a tender pout as she rubbed the side of her head where her brother's had made contact. "Daddy Sousuke…"

"So, I am going to ask the two of you if you are alright, first." They both nod and I nod in return before continuing. "Next, which of you would like to explain why you were running down the hall and shouting loud enough to wake the entire Fortress?" I asked with a soft glare.

"O-oh…" Asami stood up then tried to help her brother but he refused her hand and stood by himself. Once he was standing he rubbed his forehead gently. "W-well, you see, Aki—. " She was almost immediately cut off by her twin.

"You aren't going to blame me for this, are you?" He growled, glaring.

Tears started to pool in the corners of Asami's eyes as she looked at her angry brother. "D-don't interrupt me! I wasn't-."

"Yes you were!" Akira yelled. "You were going to blame me for this!"

"Enough." I snap at both of them. They turned to look at me. However, Akira was still wearing an angry expression and Asami now had tears streaming down from her wide brown eyes. I tried my hardest not to sigh at the both of them. They could be so trying at times.

"Asami, what happened?" I glared at Akira as he tried to open his mouth to speak. "Do not dare, Akira. I will hear you in a moment." He huffed but stayed quiet while his sister tried to explain.

"I-I shoved Akira out of bed." She spoke softly. She wiped at the tears streaming down her cheeks, obviously frustrated.

"Why would you do that, child?" I asked quietly, confused that she would do something like that.

She shook her head. "I didn't mean to do it. I was having a nightmare. It was a reflect."

"You mean a reflex." I corrected her gently but I nod with understanding. "Did you apologize?"

"No!" Akira fumed, glaring at Asami again. "She didn't do anything but stare."

"No?" I questioned, knowing it wasn't in Asami's nature to not apologize for a wrongdoing on her part. She was usually so considerate of others.

She let out a quiet sob. "I would have but he got angry and chased me out of the room before I got the chance…" She looked up at me with pleading eyes. "Daddy Sousuke, I really didn't mean to do it!"

I nodded then looked over to my son after that. "What is your side?"

"How was I supposed to know she was having a nightmare? She never said anything." He asked, exasperated, and still looking quite agitated. He had some semblance of understanding in his eyes now, though. Akira had always been one to react first instead of thinking things through. Much like his father.

"I don't think Asami should sleep with me anymore." He grumbled while looking at me. "I also think she should apologize normally."

"I agree, but I also think you should apologize to your sister. You did chase her out of the room before she had a chance to give a proper apology, no?" I questioned him. He sighed and nodded. "Also, perhaps ask her what happened should this situation arise again, ne?" Again, he nodded and so did Asami. "Come now, apologize to each other."

Akira rolled his eyes and looked at his sister. "I'm sorry for chasing you out of the room."

"And?" I encouraged.

He sighed. "And, for getting angry." His arms were still crossed and I could tell he was still angry but I knew he would move past it.

I looked to Asami so she could have her turn at apologizing. She sniffled and wiped the last of her tears. "I'm sorry too. I really didn't mean to push you out of bed and not apologize for it."

I knelt down so I was at eye level with both of them. They both looked at me with their matching brown eyes. "Good, now, you should get back to bed and when you come to breakfast later in the gardens you should apologize to your Daddy Ichi. He wasn't too pleased at being woken up so early."

They both wore guilty expressions with the mention of their pregnant father. They both knew Ichigo was not a morning person even without being pregnant. The pregnancy only made it worse. "Hai," the twins said in unison. They started to walk to their rooms but Asami stopped mid-step.

"Daddy Sousuke," She said softly. "Will you tell us more about the love story later?" She asked. She likely knew I would catch onto that she was referring to Ichigo's and my story.

I gave her a gentle smile. "Of course, now, hurry along to bed. There is still a few more hours we can sleep."

Asami grinned and tried to quietly race her brother back down the hall to their rooms. The sight made me smile as they said goodnight to each other and made their way into their own rooms.

Afterward, I made my way back down to my and Ichigo's room. When I walked in the door, I see my husband is still sitting up, seeming to have waited for my return. "I thought I told you to go back to sleep?"

"I was waiting for you to hear about what happened." He spoke with a frown. "What the hell happened to make them act like that?"

I sighed as I make my way back into bed and gently tugged Ichigo down with me. He laid on his side with his head on my shoulder while I laid on my back. I quietly explained what had occurred and that now it was resolved.

Ichigo sighed quietly and nuzzled under my chin. "Did Asami tell you about her nightmare?"

I gently shook my head. "No, we were too preoccupied." Now, that he had mentioned it I would have asked her if she remembered what her nightmare was about if we hadn't been trying to resolve the conflict. It made me feel a bit bad but if it was serious she likely would have told me. "We can ask her later."

"Alright," he mumbled sleepily. After that he drifted off to sleep.

A few hours later…

I awoke to two sets of deep brown eyes staring at me. "Good morning," I spoke before yawning softly.

"Good morning, Daddy Sousuke!" The twins chirped.

I sat up then looked over to Ichigo's side of the bed. He was curled around his pillow and still sound asleep.

"Daddy Sousuke?" Akira asked. "Can we go make a surprise breakfast for Daddy Ichi?"

I smiled at my son. This must have been his and Asami's way to sort out an apology for waking Ichigo earlier. I nod to him. "Why not," I told him. "Would you like me to continue with learning about how your father and I came to be together?"

"Yes!" Asami said excitedly then covered her mouth, remembering. We all looked to Ichigo. He was still sleeping. She sighed with relief and nodded her head. "Come on, we want to know more."

Akira nodded as well and pulled me out of bed and then down to the kitchen with Asami leading the way. It makes me chuckle quietly at their enthusiasm. "Alright, alright." I say.

As we start to make breakfast I start to go on with the story.

((So, I'm going to leave this here. I know this chapter was kinda like filler and slightly longer but I hope you like it. I plan on getting back to the story telling in the next chapter. I would have done it in this one but I think it would have been a little bit of a weird transition when I've already transitioned a few times in this chapter. I feel it'd be better broken up. I hope you like this chapter and will continue to like the upcoming updates! ~Love, Mina))
