Hi, readers! I'm back, and I have a great idea (for once)! It's been a few weeks since I updated, so thank you for being patient. Have fun reading!
A/N: Before you read, here's a little bit of self promotion. Please read my new Solangelo fanfiction on AO3 (it's hyperlinked in my profile, so it's super simple to see)!
On with the show!
"Annabeth, please, can we keep him?"
"Percy, no. I am not taking a stray kitten into our home."
"Come on, Wise Girl, look how cute he is! I've already thought of a name: Louis!"
"Percy!" Annabeth slapped his arm.
"Please? Look at his adorable, small face!" Percy said in a baby voice. He kissed the top of the kitten's head, cooing at it.
Annabeth started to crumble. She sighed before replying, "Ugh, fine. But if he destroys the apartment, you're taking him to a shelter."
"It hasn't even been two days, and this stupid cat has already torn apart all of our toilet paper!"
He then bent down and covered Louis' ears. "No, baby, she didn't mean that. You're not stupid." He glared at Annabeth. "He's just a kitten! We have to train him!"
"Okay, okay, fine. I love you." He pecked her lips, then snuggled the kitten, holding it close to his chest.
"Percy! I cannot believe this!"
"Um, sorry?"
"Percy, you said you would take him to a shelter if he misbehaved!"
"No, you didn't. You told me to take him to the shelter if he destroyed the apartment."
"And this doesn't count?" Annabeth yelled angrily.
"Well, the walls are still intact, aren't they?"
"Agh!" She stomped her foot like a toddler throwing a tantrum and stomped away to their bedroom, slamming the door shut.
Percy then looked down towards Louis. "Well, buddy, it seems we've landed ourselves in the doghouse."
Annabeth felt Percy slip into their bed and slide his arm around her waist. She ignored him and turned around, but she didn't bother removing his arm.
"Babe, talk to me," he coaxed her.
She didn't reply; instead, she snuggled into his chest and chose to ignore his plea.
"Wow, so you're going to use me as your personal pillow, but you won't talk to me? Harsh."
She finally turned around. "I just don't understand why you can't give away that damn cat."
"Annabeth, you have to give it time. You can't just expect him to learn the rules right away. Don't give up now."
He pulled her closer, pressing his lips against her neck. They trailed down, and she tilted her head to give him more access. She captured his lips and flung her left leg over his torso, now straddling him. He grabbed her hips, steadying her. She leaned down to kiss him again.
"Gods, I love you, Percy." she told him between kisses.
"I love you, too, Annabeth."
When Percy woke up, the first thing he saw was Annabeth fast asleep with a thin sheet wrapped around her. The next thing he noticed was that right on top of her sat Louis.
He chuckled to himself. That is so cute, he thought to himself. He pressed a kiss to Annabeth's forehead, then to Louis' small head, then promptly fell back asleep.
It's done! By the way, they're both out of college and living together, but not married yet. Also, can you tell I love cats? Anyway, please review! It means a lot to me! Love you guys!
