I'm sorry it took forever! I've been so busy studying for Finals and reading other books that I haven't come onto FanFiction for months. Well, for all those waiting for this, here it is!
Remus scooped Lily into his arms and carried her bridal style back into Hogwarts. Lily was completely drenched and had fallen asleep on the grass near the Black Lake. He put two and two together and realized what happened. What he didn't understand was where Marlene was. She had been the one looking for Lily near the Black Lake and when he had decided to go see if Marlene had found Lily, she was no where to be seen. Instead he found Lily curled up in a ball, shivering in her sleep.
Remus headed into the Gryffindor Common room, knowing that she'd hate it if he took her back to the Head's Common room with James in it. Remus had been disappointed with James, but he was selfishly joyful that James had stood up for him. James just shouldn't have blown up at Lily. What had he been thinking? Actually, he probably hadn't been at all. It was clear to Remus that James had only heard the beginning and end of their argument and had not heard Lily try to stop her friends from prying. On that subject, Remus wondered why. Lily had always a curious girl, and couldn't stand not being in the dark about something. So why did she suddenly not care? Unless she knew... but she couldn't. It's not possible. They're to careful for her to know.
Remus froze the stairs up to the girl's dormitory and walked up. Unfreezing the stairs, he walked into the 7th year girls' room and placed lily onto a bed. He quickly cast a quick heating spell on her with his wand and she instantly stopped shivering. pulling the blankets over her shoulders he shook his head. James had really messed up. If only there was a way to fix this mess.
Remus's head shot up and he sped out of the room, heading to the Owlry.
James paced back and forth across his room as he though of ways to fix what he had done. Apologize? That was stupid. He had just insulted Lily and he really thought apologizing was all he needed to do?! What was he going to do? An idea shot through his head and he decided to do it. It was his best bet. James stuffed some parchment and a quill into his pocket before speeding out of the Head's Dormitory towards the Owlry.
Sorry for the small cliff hanger in the end! :-P I really do hope to get time to write soon, and if not, please stick with me and hang in there. I'm doing my best to update as soon as I can!
