EDIT 12/20/14: Fixed '...', edited Lindsey's POV.

Me: Hey everyone! I know it's been awhile, but the original file got corrupted by my BLEEPING flashdrive. It also destroyed quite a few of my photos that were only saved on my flashdrive.

The result: I'm ready to murder my flashdrive. I'VE LOST OVER TEN HOURS OF WRITING FOR COUNTLESS STORIES! SOME THAT WERE BRAND NEW AND YOU PEOPLE HADN'T EVEN HEARD OF YET! AND NOW I DON'T REMEMBER THEM AT ALL BECAUSE THEY'VE BEEN ERASED!

*breathes heavily* I'm done now...

Without further ado, I give you CHAAAAAAPTER SEVEN!

*everybody starts dancing to Weekend Whip*

Kai: (over the music) EVER DOESN'T OWN US PEOPLE BUT SHE OWNS THOSE GIRLS OVER THERE AND THE BUTTHEAD ELIJAH!

Elijah: HEY!

Kai: Umm... I just realized something... "she owns the girls"... sounds a bit inappro-

Me: NO TALKING AFTER THE DISCLAIMER! (chases them both with a stick and they scream like little girls)

Overlord: MWHAHAHAHAHA!

Jay: Wait, since when did you get here?

Overlord: I've been here since day one... hiding in the flower pot.

Abigail: NOT THE FLOWERS! DIE YOU FIEND!

Overlord: Oh my gosh NONONONONONO STAAAAAP!

Chapter 7: LONG CHAPTER!

(Jay's POV)

I slide my hand into Nya's nervously, my entire body shaking. What have I done wrong? I haven't even kissed Nya in so long! How long ago even was that... ? It must have been... but why would that matter? What would that have to do with Sensei punishing us? Is he trying to break us up? Does he think our relationship is too "distracting?" But if that was the case, than why would Cole get to date Christy? I mean, if anyone's "distracting", it'd be them.

"Jay!" Nya suddenly hisses from between her teeth. Her tone then becomes kinder, more reassuring. "Relax. Everything will be fine." "But... " I begin.

"But I don't-"

"Jay!" Sensei interrupts this time. "This is about the problems you had with the papers..."

"Oooh, that..." I chuckle. "Heh heh... I knew that... right... right? Yes, that's totally it... I knew it all along... I wasn't-"

"Jay, please stop talking," groans Nya.

"Weeeeell, still if this was a serious-"

"JAY!"

"Sorry Nya." Together we approach Sensei's room. "In," he says firmly.

We follow our teacher inside. I'm so nervous about what truly happened with the papers. I mean, it was really freaky! What could of possibly... Hmm... I can smell tea... nothing can ever separate Sensei from his tea. Sensei and tea are like milk and cookies...

Yum... cookies... I should ask Abigail to make some... fresh chocolate... hmm... I haven't had chocolate in forever... it was like that time when... wait a minute... Why are both Nya and Sensei looking at me like that? Nya... oh... she's so beautiful... I can't wait to take her out again... we'll go to that one restaurant downtown and we'll eat and we'll kiss and we'll dance and we'll kiss again-

"JAY!" I jump at the sound of Sensei's voice.

"Yesh?" I ask.

"First of all, don't say... 'yesh'," Sensei winces when he says the last word. I can't help but to chuckle. "Second of all, are you going to answer me?"

"Uhhhh..." I stare blankly at Sensei. "Can you repeat the question?" Nya and Sensei both sigh in frustration.

"I said, explain what happened." Sensei pours some tea into his cup. Yup, milk and cookies indeed.

"Jay, do you want me to explain?" Nya asks kindly, her voice jolting me from my thoughts once again.

"No, it's fine. You're too beautiful-I mean too hot-I mean I MEAN-"

"JAY!"

"OKAY SO THERE WAS A SCARY TORNADO AND STUFF AND NYA LOOKED HOT I MEAN THE TORNADO WAS HOT AND SHE WAS SCARY I MEAN- WHATEVER! SO LIKE I WASN'T SURE WHY THERE WAS A PAPER AND THE WINDOW WAS CLOSED AND I WANTED TO KISS HER AND THE PIE AND THE PAPER AND MY FACE IS PRETTY AND-"

"Jay, I'll just explain, okay?" I jolt. Nya smiles at me sweetly. Why does she look at me like that? It just makes we want to give her a hug and-

Just then, Sensei gives me a look. I grin uneasily, shifting my weight from side to side. I know that look. It means "Pay attention, Jay! Now! Or I'll eat your sandwich!". In other words, it's terrifying.

Nya begins to explain to Sensei about the situation. He pales as she speaks, barely even sipping his tea. Uh-oh... there's something terribly wrong...

"You said only you could stop it?" Sensei asks Nya carefully.

"Yes, Sensei," she responds.

"I was hoping this wouldn't happen in your lifetime," he mutters. "But the prophecy must continue..."

"Does that mean that NYA'S a NINJA?!" I exclaim. Nya looks over at me, shocked. She has a look of uncertainty on her face.

"But Sensei, I told you I don't want to be a ninja. I'm content with being a samurai!"

"I never said you're a ninja, Nya," Sensei says carefully, taking a long slow sip of his tea. "To answer your question, Jay..." I suck in a breath, unsure of what I want to happen.

"No," Sensei finally says. "Nya is not a ninja. However, this-" Suddenly, a loud blaring alarm cuts through the air. Nya and I start, surprised.

"The alarm!" we say simultaneously.

"Hurry," urges Sensei.

"But you were-"

"I'll finish explaining to you later, Jay. Now go!"

(Nya's POV)

I grab Jay's arm and we rush down the hall. The other six teenagers are already there, awaiting our arrival. Panting, I dash up to the panel.

"Serpentine?!" I cry in disbelief.

"Just when I thought we were done with them, too," groans Lloyd.

"Well," smirks Anna. "Time for revenge."

"You are not coming," scowls Kai.

"Oh really!?" Anna snaps back. "What makes you think that?!"

"For once, Kai's right," says Lloyd, sidling up beside my hot-headed brother.

"For once?!" cries Kai, insulted.

"Everyone just SHUT! UP!" Cole shouts, obviously ticked. "The girls aren't coming, and we have to go NOW!"

"Sexist!" spits Anna, glaring at Kai, Cole, and Lloyd.

"Does that mean I can't come too?" I scowl, folding my arms across my chest.

"Sorry sis, boys only," my brother says. I frown, but in reality... I have a plan.

"Alright. Just be safe." I kiss Jay lightly on the cheek. He flushes a light shade of pink, and then turns to look at his three teammates.

"Well, uh, let's go then, huh?" he stammers. The other three boys nod and put their hand in.

"NINJA-GO!" they shout together, and rush out of the bridge. Lloyd whistles for the Ultra-Dragon, and the boys jump off the side of the Bounty and onto it's back. Christy peeks over the railing to make sure that make sure they landed alright. Anna rolls her eyes.

"They are a bunch of sexist ass-" Abigail than shrieks, interrupting Anna. She is pointing at the dragon in the distance. It's now Christy that rolls her eyes.

"Ugh, what is it, Abigail?"

"THEY ONLY HAVE FOUR PEOPLE!"

"So?" sighs Anna in annoyance. I gasp.

"Zane. Girls, where's Zane?" They all look at me.

"Oh this bad. Very bad! SO EXTREMELY BAD!" panics Abigail, looking like she's about to tear her hair out.

"Shhh... relax Abigail," mutters Christy. I look at my friends and take a deep breath.

"Listen up, girls. I was already going to go myself, but now... heck, why don't we all go?" They perk up at that. I'm on a roll now. "We can say that we saw that Zane wasn't with them and that we thought they might need backup."

"Sounds good to me," smiles Christy.

"Yep! Me too!" squeaks Abigail.

"Count me in," smirks Anna.

"Alright, team," I say. "Let's show those boys what we've got."

(No POV)

A teenaged boy with dirty-blond hair looks around the forest. His brown eyes flick from tree to tree, seemingly frowning. Suddenly, he hears a loud hissing sound.

"Back!" he shouts, whirling around. He then grabs a nearby stick and brandishes in front of him. "Show yourself!" The leaves rustle, the ground trembles, and the boy clenches the stick tighter. He sucks in a few deep breaths, his heart pounding in his chest. Thump thump... thump thump... The noise around him abruptly stops. Still tense, the teen scans the area.

'Is it gone?' he wonders. The dead silence reveals nothing. He lowers the stick, breathing deeply. He relaxes his muscles, sighing in relief. Thump... thump... thump... The quiet is unnerving, and the only thing the teen can hear is his heartbeat. 'They're gone...' he thought, relieved.

Suddenly, the ground explodes around him, the vegetation comes to life, and hundreds of hissing snakes with large fangs jump at the teen. Hissing and spitting, a red and white one tackles the boy, knocking him off his feet.

He yelps, the sound loud and clear. "Oh crap... I'm screwed..."

(Lindsey's POV)

My eyes jolt open at the sound that is ringing through the trees. A yell. Someone's in trouble... I'm on my feet in a flash.

Something inside of me, I guess my subconscious bravery, propels me forward. I run, faster and faster until the trees are just a a big green blur. I feel sick already, weak from a lack of food... and just being a terrible runner... My feet hit the ground in a constant rhythm as I urge myself on.

'Go-Go-Go-Go-Go-Go-Go-Go-Go-Go-Go-Go-Go!'

My lungs are burning... I can taste blood and sweat... a terrible sensation is crawling up my throat...

My footsteps begin to echo my heartbeat now, a constant thumping that makes my head spin. I feel like I'm going to throw up... No!

The world around me seems to be melting. Oh gosh no... I'm sick... I'm so terribly sick... The ground is melting under my feet...

A terrifying shout echoes through the woods, jolting me from my horrible hallucination. "Go away! Retreat! Stand down!" The fear in the voice is obvious, but I can hear another emotion hidden behind (his?) fear... Bravery...

Sudden cries of dread are ringing in my ears now... getting louder and louder and louder...

Suddenly, a few figures come crashing out of the woods. No... not a few... Hundreds of Serpentine explode from the foliage, their eyes filled with terror. What could've possibly scared them so much? I stumble into a nearby clearing, panting. Standing in the clearing, holding a sharp stick, is a familiar face. My words come out in a gasp.

"No way..."

(Christy's POV)

I haven't had this much fun since the beginning of Abigail's sleepover, even though I'm in an extremely awkward position. I'm clinging on to the left leg of Nya's samurai mech as it flies through the air. Abigail has the right, and Anna claimed the seat up on the shoulder (more like stole it before anyone else got the chance).

Personally, I'm not too terribly excited to be flying into battle again, but if it means seeing Cole in action, I'm all for it. I rub my lips together, hoping my lipstick isn't smeared.

"Are we there yet?" whines Abigail.

"No," says Anna shortly. I can tell she's in bad mood.

"Anna, I know that Kai's being a jerk-face," I sigh, "but sometimes you gotta move on and get over it."

"Easy for you to say," growls Anna, "he doesn't torment you every living moment you're around him."

"He's put up a barrier, Anna," explains Nya. "He's trying to hide something from you. That's what he does to me all the time."

"What in Ninjago would he be trying to hide from me?" Anna snaps.

"That he looves you," I say in a sappy voice.

"HE HATES ME!" hisses Anna harshly.

"Do you want him to hate you?" asks Abigail.

"How much longer until we get there?" Anna says to Nya, ignoring her best friend's question. Nya opens her mouth to answer, but shuts it again when she sees the sight in front of us.

"The Serpentine..." My voice comes out as a barely a whisper.

"Yep," replies Abigail, popping the 'p'. I swallow. I'm not scared... just... unsure. The Serpentine were dead, and suddenly, here they are again with their sharp fangs and forked tongues, ready to take a bite out of one of our shoulders.

"Well, here goes nothing!" cries Anna, her spunk returning to her in a flash. Nya detaches herself from her seat, and we all join her on the ground. She whispers softly to us,

"Okay, we need to approach quickly and quietly so they don't notice us and-"

"GERONIMO!" screams Abigail, charging into the battle.

"Typical Abigail," Anna says. I sigh.

"So much for quiet and unnoticeable."

Me: Sorry if you didn't like the thing I did with the italics in Lindsey's POV. She's really weak and is having some issues... it'll be explained what's truly going on later.

(And yes, Abigail is a Doctor Who fan, that's why she said GERONIMO)

Zane: Oh, and something Ever wanted me to mention. Almost all grammar and spelling mistakes in the author's notes are on purpose to make it moar amusing... did I just say moar?

Me: XD

Nya: Please review and tell us what you thought of the chapter!

Cole: And the whole love triangle thing...

Anna: I hate love triangles...

Christy: I LOVE THEM! THEY MAKE SO MUCH DRAMA AND STUFF!

Abigail: Food...

Zane: ?

Skales: I'll bet you'd taste amazing with some tartar sauce...

Pythor: DO HAVE SOME TAR-TAR TIM TIM!? YOU'LL NEED TAR-TAR TO KILL HIM!

Me: LOL! If you know the reference, give me a holler in your reviews.

Kai: But wait... PYTHOR YOU DEAD!

Pythor: The Overlord's dead too, so why does it matter?

Overlord: -_-

Jay: Please review, join the Cole/Nya hater club (it's still going), and follow and favorite and read Ever's other stories, and read bigtimedreamer101's fanfic and be nice to her, and yah...

Lindsey:...

Me: Oh! And check out my roleplay forum! I'm roleplaying with Lindsey, and you can send in YOUR OCs to roleplay! It's called "Ninjago Roleplay!". Be sure to confirm with me on the "OC Signup REQUIRED" page.

But seriously, you guys, I'll have trouble updating without knowing about the love triangle thing. I just don't want anyone (*cough* Zane *cough* Lindsey) to be out of character... so please help.

Everyone: BYE BYE!
