A/N-I have another story in the Twilight Zone stories called Seven Sisters, please check it out, I'm just starting it and we'll see how it goes.

In the meantime, let's follow Sophia's saga in Punishment of Time.

Sophia looked in shocked, she could not believe it, the person who took the cell phone from her that she had found in the park was none other than the McCrey's teenage daughter, Susan. Sophia quickly turned the phone's power off without even a moment's hesitation just like a person would in the 2014.

Susan was a little girl, she was small for her thirteen years but apparently , she was wise beyond her years. She had blond hair and blue eyes, Sophia had heard Susan's daddy call her Bunny before but now she seemed more like a wild stallion.

Sophia's mouth dropped open and she couldn't find her words but Susan spoke before her.

"What are you doing with this? Where did you get this? Don't you know that we are lucky we are not being swarmed with the swat team now!"

Sophia finally managed to talk and she said, "What? For having a cell phone? And how do you know what it is?"

Susan looked around like she was looking for somebody then she looked back at Sophia then made a face then said, "How do think that diary of mine got to where you found it? In another county? That's as far as I got before I was caught."

Sophia's eyes bugged out then she asked another question, "Caught? You got out?"

Susan silently nodded her head then she said, "I was gone for 4 months before they caught up."

Sophia's ears perk up and she leans in then asked,

"What? How? How do you get out of here?"

Susan looked around then she said, "Let's go up to your room, I don't think we should talk out here."

Sophia looked around the yard and even tho the only thing you could see that was with them was the stars, she nodded her head in agreement so she turned and went back up the wooden stairs with Susan behind her. She turned on the lights and then you could see the inside of the apartment, it was a little larger than you expected, of course, all the furniture had the classic 1950's feel to it. There was even a black and white television set in the corner with rabbit ears on top. The kitchen is colored in an ugly avocado green which seemed to be the popular color back then. Sophie asked, "Would you like something to drink?"

Susan thought for a minute then asked, "Do you have some coffee?"

Sophia cocked her eyebrow then she asked while she wiped a string of her red hair out of her eyes, "Does your parents let you drink that?"

Susan shrugged her shoulders than Sophia went over to the silver pot with a diamond button on top for decoration then turns it on. Then she quickly runs over and she puts her hand out and signals for them to sit at the small, round kitchen table Then when they do, Sophia asked, "So tell me, what is going on here?"

Susan sighed then said, "Up until a few years ago, I thought all of this was normal, living in the past was the thing to do but then..."

Sophia sensed her hesitation so she urged her on, "What happened?"

Susan looked at her then said, "My uncle."

Sophia leaned in closer than asked, "What happened?"

She got a little uncomfortable then looked around the room as if to make sure nobody overheard then she said, "My Uncle Stanley, he is my mom's brother and we were very close, well, one day he started talking about this other world, how he found this link in the woods. Well, he disappeared one day was gone for a long time, several months in fact and when he came back; he talked of this other place but he was warned to keep his mouth shut; he didn't and then one day he disappeared. A few weeks later, I got away and took my bike to my uncle's place, did some snooping and I found some papers that led me to some more papers under his floorboards, it was that big of a secret."

Just as soon as she finished saying the word secret, Susan quits talking and Sophie starts to ask why but then Susan puts her hand to her mouth and signals for Sophia to be quiet then that's when they hear it, heavy footsteps on the wooden stairs outside. Susan signals for Sophie to get the coffee then the door opens and there stands Peter in his pajamas and robe, he looks at the girls , wondering what is going on. Sophia turned to him holding the coffee pot and Susan looked at him all wide-eyed then she said,

"I couldn't sleep."

Sophia gulped then she said, "And neither could I."

Then Susan said, "So, here we are, not sleeping together."

The girls chuckled then after a second, so does Peter then Sophia asked, "Is it okay for Susan to have a cup?"

He thought about it then said, "Oh, just then you need to come on to bed. Just because tomorrow's Saturday, doesn't mean you can stay up all night."

Susan smiles brightly then said, "Yes dad, I won't be long."

Sophia just happily gets a couple of saucers and coffee cups for them then when Peter leaves then Susan whispers, "Just say something causal." Susan got up then walked over to the window while Sophia asked, "So, what do you want to do tomorrow with the children?"

Sophia tiptoes to the end of the window and said, "Oh, I don't know but I think the kids would like to go to the zoo across town." She pulled back the blue curtains and watched as her dad walked down the stairs then she let's out a tired sigh then walked back to the table then Sophia asked, "Do you think your dad would do something?"

She sat down then said, "He's the one that turned Stanley in."

Sophia's eyes bulged out and she poured them each a cup then she sat the pot on a pot handle then she sat down then asked, "Turned him in to who?"

Sophia played with her cup then took a sip then said, "I don't know, but right after he made a phone call, the authorities came and got my Uncle on our lawn. All the neighbors saw it...they do that...arrest people out in the open to send a message to others."

Sophia takes a sip of her coffee then asked, "What message?"

Susan took another sip then she said, "Don't mess with time."

At that same time across town, in a room full of machines, a man sits at one with a radar screen in front of him. He wears a white lab coat and he furiously writes in a small pad then a man in a dark blue suit comes up behind him and he has a cross face on then he growls,

"What was I called here for? I was just about to turn in, what is the urgency?"

The other man looked up at him and said,

"I'm sorry mayor but that signal that we have followed from that..."

The lab worker looked around the room then he said, "From that object, well, after all this time; it actually moved to across town then...it was suddenly shut off."

The mayor cocked his eyebrow then he asked, "Where was it last heard?"

The lab worker looked at the radar screen then said, "Well, it was first heard on Templer street then it was last heard somewhere on Celtic ave."

The Mayor thought about it then he said, "Celtic ave. is where we arrested that McCerey man."

The lab worker looked at him then the Mayor just said, "Keep me abreast of this, we must stop this leak."

The worker nodded his head then the Mayor angrily walked off.

The streets of Shelby, Ohio are quiet. No one is walking around, and the only car that is seen is a occasional police car roaming the town to protect the people.

No one is at the park and only the wind causes an empty swing to move.

There is a gigantic clock on the walls of city hall that shows the time to be 11:30. A newspaper flies in the wind and when it stops, the headline says something about Castro attacking Havana but it also has the date on there. April 3, 1958.
