Hi everyone sorry about not being able to update sooner. Thank you for all the reviews, follows, and favorites. I know that this is a short chapter. I will try to update faster, but once again I make no promises. Don't forget to check out my Pinterest board that goes along with the story. Once again I don't own anything that has to do with the Divergent world.

That morning, I wake with a smile on my face, sitting on the end of my bed is Christina, who has an even bigger smile on her face. "Get in the shower! Don't even bother getting dressed." She grins at me.

"And, what am I suppose to wear after my shower?" I ask, crossing my arms over my chest.

"This." She says as she throws me, the purple floral robe from the end of my bed. I roll my eyes at her, but I do as she asks. I hop out of bed and take a quick shower, wondering what Chris is up to when I walk back into the bedroom, a torture chair is set up in front of a mirror, that is covered. Chris is sitting on the edge of the bed with a blindfold in her hand. She runs up to me, placing the blindfold over my eyes. "I can't see anything. How am I suppose to get dressed."

"That is the point. I am going to help you." She says. I can hear the excitement in her voice. Chris helps me shuffle into a dress then covers me with a blanket. She lifts the blindfold off my eyes. The brightness of the room, causes my eyes to rapidly blink as she starts doing my hair and makeup.

Almost two hours later, Chris is done with everything. She unveils the mirror with a dramatic sound effect making me giggle. My laughter fades shortly after I get a look at the girl in the mirror, for the first time in my life, I feel beautiful. Tobias picked out a beautiful dress. It is long, blue, white with a pattern on it. He even brought a pink sweater for me to wear over the top of it. It is by far, one of the prettiest dresses, that I have ever seen. Although, I may be biased because Tobias was considerate enough to buy me an outfit for our date. I feel like pinching myself.

My eyes are popping against the dress and my hair is done in waves. It looks like I have spent all day at the beach. I smile with tears in my eyes as I say, "Chris, you have outdone yourself. Thank you! I feel so pretty. This is by far the best job that you have ever done."

She laughs, pointing her finger at me as she says, "Tris, don't you dare cry and ruin your makeup! That was a lot of work!"

"Sorry!" I giggle as the doorbell rings. I run to get it. I feel a smile tug at my lip as I see who is standing at the front door of my apartment.

"To-Four!" I say, a huge smile on my lips, "You look handsome today."

Tobias says nothing as he stands there for a second, staring at me. I see his cheeks turn red as he blushes as he says, "Tris, you look beautiful in that dress. I can't wait to see the look on your face when you see what I have in store for you on this date."

"Well, let's go then," I say, a playing smile on my lips as I tug on his hand as we walk out of the apartment. Sitting next to the sidewalk is a beat up looking black Ford Mustang. I smile, looking at the car wondering if this is Four's car? This is not what I was expecting. I was expecting some expensive looking car considering the fact that Tobias is a doctor. I have seen what type of cars the other doctors drive at the hospital. Tobias laughs looking at me, seeing my expression, saying, "Tris, what's the matter? The look on your face is hilarious."

"Nothing Tobias. I wasn't imagining your car to look like that. I imagined some sleek, expensive, sporty, car that shouted to the world I am a doctor. I have or I make a lot of money. I did not expect some beat up old car."

As I am talking, Tobias's face turns serious as he turns to me and says, "Don't talk about my baby like that. She is beautiful."

I giggle at the seriousness of his voice as I say, "Of course, Tobias. I won't dream of talking bad about your car." He shakes his head as he opens the car door for me, helping me in. The car smells like him, and I immediately feel at ease. He grins at me as he sees me smile, "So are you ready to find out where we are going on our date?"

"Yes!"

"We are going bowling!"

"I have never been bowling," I say, smiling at him.

Tobias returns my smile as he says, "Well, that makes two of us. We can both make asses out of ourselves together."

"I can't wait." I giggle as Tobias drives us to the bowling alley in town. Tobias and I laugh so hard, trying to bowl. We are both terrible at bowling, but we have fun making fools of ourselves. On my last ball, Tobias whispers into my ear, "If you get a strike you beat me."

"And what do I get if I beat you?"

"Another surprise." He grins at me. As I throw the ball, hitting all the pins getting a strike. I scream, run, and jump at Tobias with excitement. I am so happy. I won. I never win at anything. As I jump at Tobias, he catches me, and our lips touch. Tobias and I both pull away, blushing at what happened, laughing, nervously.

"You beat me, Tris," Tobias says as I smile at him.

"I think you let me win to be nice to me," I say, jokingly to him.

"I did not let you win. You won fair and square. Now that you have won. I guess I can tell you what your other surprise is. I will be paying for dinner. There is this a local place that serves the best strawberry shortcake in the area."

"How did you know that I love strawberry shortcake," I ask, wondering how he knew that is one of my favorite desserts.

He grins at me as he says, "I may have had the help of a little birdy, who gave me some details on what your favorite dessert is." I know exactly who the little birdy is, Christina.

Tobias and I eat at a local diner. We have burgers and fries. Then for dessert, as promised, we have strawberry shortcake. It is amazing, the best I have ever had. "Oh, my Tobias. You were right. This is delicious." I smile at him with a mouthful of strawberries.

He smirks at me as he says, "I told you, it was good."

I scoff at him as I say, "Good, doesn't even begin to cover this. This is amazing."

During dinner, we make small talk, and after dinner is over, Tobias drive me home. We talk about deeper topics. We talk about our childhoods and we share other things with one another. As he is stopped at a stop light, he glances at me from the corner of his eye, as he asks, "Tris, what are your views on marriage and children? Do you want those things?" When he asks me those questions, he startles me. I have always been focused on school and finding a job for after school is done. My mind hasn't gone that far into my future, but I could see it with him one day, maybe not tomorrow or the next day. Tobias would be a good husband and father to someone someday, maybe not me, but only time will tell that.

My eyes meet his as I take a deep breath, and truthfully answer him, as I say, "I guess I have never really thought about it. My mind is only concerned right now with graduation and getting my first job as a nurse. Although, if I did think about I would like to marry someone who is my best friend. Someone who will love me forever. Someone who will love me unconditionally because once I get married there is no divorce in my mind. What about you?"

Tobias looks sad as he hears me talk. I want to ask him why, but I chicken out when I open my mouth. He continues staring at the road driving as he says, "Well, I would like to marry someone who I love with all my heart and soul. Who brings out the best in me, and who is my best friend. I want the two point five children. The house with the white picket fence and a dog. I want the simple things in life, Tris. I don't need a lot of money or even a job. Although having a job does help with certain things like paying the bills. I just need someone to come home to after a long day's work that I know will be there. That I know loves me for me, and loves me as much as I love her. I agree with you divorce will never be an option for me. I am a firm believer that once you are married that is it. Although who knows ten years down the road what my life will look like." He shoots me a smirk as his eyes snap to mine then go back to the road.

When we finally reach the front of my apartment. Tobias stops the car. We sit in the car awkwardly, staring at each other, both silent. I love to reach for the handle of the door but stop short when I notice Tobias lean closer to me. He leans over me, and I think he is going to kiss me on the lips. He doesn't instead he kisses me on the cheek. I'm not going lie to myself and say that I'm not a little disappointed that he didn't kiss me on the lips. He goes to pull away, and I follow him. I lean over. Our lips brush every so slightly again, ever so lightly. He goes to pull away as I whisper, "Tobias, it is okay to just kiss me already, you know."

He looks at me with a questioning look on his face as I try to reassure him with my eyes that I want him to kiss me. His fingertips gently touch my cheek, brushing it. It feels good, his warm fingers against my skin. His fingertips have some callus on them. My eyes closed as he leans closer to me, and he kisses me lightly on the lips. The kiss is by no means perfect, but it is perfect at the same time because it is Tobias who is kissing me. Time feels like it stands time during our kiss.

When Tobias does pull away from the kiss this time, he whispers into my ear as he tucks a piece of hair behind my ear, "I know I am moving kind of fast, but Tris I have been waiting since the first day since I met you." My heartbeat quickens as our eyes connect as he continues, "I have been waiting to tell you that I am in love with you."

I whisper back into his ear, " Tobias, I love you too. I have known that I have had feelings for you since we talked about your grandmother and you opened up about your past."

Tobias touches my chin gently with his thumb as he brings my mouth up to his in a small kiss. After that kiss, I get out of the kiss. I walk up the sidewalk in a daze, into he apartment. When I open the door and close it. I lean it against with a huge smile on my face. Chris is sitting on the couch, she sees me, a smile spreads across her lips as she says, "See I told you, Dr. McHotty would be good for you." With those words, she walks away into her room. I get ready for bed still in a dazed from kissing Tobias. As I am laying in bed. It is then that I realize we actually kissed, and the excitement takes over. I begin to laugh uncontrollably. I text Tobias to tell him goodnight and to thank him for the great date.

Tris: Thank you for the lovely night, Tobias.

Tobias: You're welcome. my love, you make me the happiest man alive.

Tris: I love you, Tobias. Are you free tomorrow?

Tobias: Yes, my love. I am free tomorrow, why?

Tris: I was thinking about going roller skating, and then going to the park, maybe feeding the ducks. Would you like to go?

Tobias: Sure, I would love to spend time with you tomorrow. Although I must warn you I am on call.

Tris: That is fine. Goodnight Tobias. Sweet dreams.

Tobias: Goodnight, my sweet Tris. Of course, I will be having sweet dreams because I will be dreaming of you.

That night, I fall asleep with a smile on my face.

AWW! So what did everyone think? They went on their first date, finally kissed each other, and already planning their second official date.
