Chapter 9: Off to Miami

Hi! I'm back with another chapter! Thank you to rollarcoastergal12 and kitten for reviewing. Both of your reviews made me smile! Anyways here's the chapter.

Austin/Brady's Point Of View

Me, Ally, and Trish, were sitting in the living room watching Emma babble. Every time she talked, she moved a pointer stick and I followed it around with my head like a cat.

"So you see, if you really want to grow your fan base. The key is to exploit your yummy factor, and maintaining a believable degree of humility." Emma explained but sh ewasnt finished "I call it the hunky to humble ratio." I raised my eyebrows, she then turned her attention to Trish who was getting a massage, pedicure, and manicure.

"Trish are you taking notes?"

"You bet." Trish answered. Emma seemed to believe it and turned to her chart while Trish threw the notepad she was supposed to be taking notes in behind her.

"And now I'm gonna go get my scale of the Austin World theme park! Wait till you see the Moon Flume." Emma jumped excitedly before rushing upstairs. Man she must have expected for this day to come if she already has my visit planned out. I turned and faced Ally,

"You better not leave any hairs behind." She started, I raised my eyebrows. "She has enough money to clone you." I was really worried now and you could defiantly see it in my face.

"Hey guys I see that your making yourselves at home." Jessie greeted coming into the living room. "So what would you say if I told you the greatest songwriter was in this very room?"

I knew she was talking about Ally and I smiled. But boy was I wrong.

"Thanks Jessie." Ally started standing up. "I really try to capture the essence-"

"Talking about me here." Jessie interrupted sitting down next to me.

"Austin I was wondering if you guys could look at some of my lyrics?" She asked me handing me a stack of papers. I smiled politely and handed the stack to Ally.

"Actually. Austin and I write all of our own material. Sorry." Ally replied instead of me. I knew she was going to say that. Well it's true!

"Buuuuuuttttttt!" Trish budged in rushing over to the couch and plopping down next to Ally. "We'll have plenty of time to look these over on the private jet. You know the one with the free omelet bar."

Then an idea hit me.

"Maybe they have a pancake bar!" I exclaimed looking at Jessie.

"Oh we do!" Jessie answered and my face lit up. I do looovvvveeee pancakes!

Jessie left the room and we decided to look through her pile. Man her lyrics stink I thought.

"Man, Jessie's lyrics stink." Trish echoed my thoughts. It's like she read my mind!

"Hang on. This one's not bad." Ally piped up obviously finding a good one. Mack walked by and I couldn't help but stare.

"AUSTIN!" Ally and Trish screamed handing me the paper. I smiled.

"Actually it's really good. Maybe better then you."

Ally expression changed from smiling to not and rolling her eyes.

"Hey uh Jess!" I called standing up looking towards the stairs considering that's the way she left in the first place.

"So you'd love 'em?" Jessie burst from the kitchen scaring all three of us. How did she get passed? Is there like a secret passage way?

"We loved…one of them." Ally answered.

"I'm fine with being a one hit wonder. You know I'm a singer too! It's kind of a double threat." She said assuming we were singing a duet. But it was written for two people, so I guess so. But I had an idea.

"Good to know. Perhaps we could talk about this at the day spa downstairs? And you guys could perform this at Austin's next concert." Trish bargained walking over to Jessie.

"Done! Where's the concert? Madison Square Garden?"

"Close! Our local mall in Miami." Trish corrected.

"Oh I don't know. It's kind of short notice to take the kids to Miami."

"Bon Voyage." Bertram exclaimed throwing packed suit cases over the stairs.

"You already have our bags packed?" Jessie asked

"Oh I always have them packed." Bertram answered.

"Wait!" I interrupted. Now it was time for my plan. "I will only sing the duet with you if Mack can move back home."

"But I was strictly told not to." Jessie argued

"Fine then no duet."

"Done! Mack can move back to Miami."

By now Bertram was gone. I don't think he heard any of that.

"Yes!" I exclaimed

"Jessie I really love these lyrics. Now that I can see you Face to Face. How did you come up with that?" Ally asked. Jessie looked guilty and hesitant at the lyrics.

"Um I guess I'm really in touch with my inner child. That's why I wrote it in different colors." Jessie explained. It was color coated.

Austin and Jessie: Yeah, Yeah, Yeah, Yeah

We sang once we got to Miami.

"This song's really coming together." I praised

"Oh thank you. Guys this is a dream come true." Jessie thanked

"And we're going to make sure everyone knows wrote the lyrics." I congratulated.

"Maybe we should do a totally different song." Jessie changed the subject.

"Jessie the thing about your other song's is…Have I mentioned you're a really great nanny?" Ally started

"What's important is this songs great.. so let's take it from the top one more time." I covered.

"Hey!" Mack sung walking in to the store.

"NO!" Jessie quickly replied. She grabbed scissors and cut the strings on my guitar.

"Why did you do that?" I asked looking at my guitar.

"Because your guitar was out of tune." Jessie lied.

Ally lead Jessie to the counter while I went back and changed guitars. She better cut the strings on this one. This one is my favorite. I couldn't help but ease drop on Mack and Jessie's conversation.

"Mckenzie. I thought I sent you to watch that shuffle board contest?"

"It was just a bunch of old people pushing something around with a stick. It was like hockey, but much slower. And the fights were just sad."

I decided to jump in.

"Hey Mack, you want to hear our song?" She nodded her head yes but Jessie grabbed my guitar and smashed it. No! It was my favorite!

"Jessie!" I screamed

Jessie just left and lead Mack out of the store. While Emma walked in with a cardboard cutout of myself.

"Austin. I had this made for you so you can take pictures with your fans but not have to get too close to them!"

"Thanks but I enjoy taking pictures with my fans." I responded. I mean it was nice of her but also just weird.

"You have to be careful though. Some of them are a little bit coo- coo." She said sticking her head in the open spot on the cutout.

I just stared at her thinking, yeah kinda like you.

Here you go! Hope you liked it! Please review! And update soon hopefully!
