You guys were kind of surprised at the last chapter, weren't you? Haha! It's fine, it'll all be explained as it goes. In the meantime, here's a new chapter!

One thing I've noticed is that I've done most of this story off the top of my head, maybe I should just start typing randomly as a strategy.

How to be Dark

Chapter 9

Hunter's POV

Corey and I stood there yelling at each other, not angrily, just yelling as if trying to have a conversation over a dump truck. "WHAT THE FUCK?!"

"THAT'S WHAT I'M ASKING!"

"I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT JUST HAPPENED!"

"ME EITHER!"

"HOW DOES PAINT FALL OFF OF ANYTHING?!"

"NO IDEA!"

"WHY ARE WE STILL YELLING?!"

"BECAUSE MY BIKE FELL APART IN YOUR FRONT YARD!" Corey yelled as I put a hand around my throat, it kind of hurt. He did the same. I started again, hoarsely whispering. "I honestly don't know what happened! You can ask Laney!" I told him, "I believe you, I'm just completely confused because of the whole bike thing."

I asked him about the mall cop. "What did the mall cop say?" He scratched his head. "All he said was that some kid named Hunter came and said he was borrowing my bike!" I then had a creeping suspicion of a certain groups of preps. "Where's your sister, Corey?" He then developed a fire in his pupils. "Trina!" He began running at an insane pace, me following a trail of fire he left behind.

We arrived at a garage door about a half a mile away. "Stay here Hunter" he told me. "Okay, but if I don't like what I hear, I'm coming in." He nodded and lifted the dorr up, walking in and slamming it behind him. I sat down on the sidewalk, my heart beating slightly faster than usual. I knew that Lenny was the kind of person that starts a fight. I had had many fights with the douchebag, normally they don't end until they're broken up.

I snapped back out of my head when I heard screaming and a force slammed against the garage door from inside. I jumped up and threw it open. Two figures fell at my feet, scrambling over each other. Lenny over Corey, Corey over Lenny, over and over until I jumped in and dragged Lenny to the driveway.

I don't know what it was about Lenny that made me more… malicious. I wanted to inflict pain on the guy so badly. I dropped him, his head hitting the concrete of the driveway. As he got up, I kicked him in the side; this caused him to fall into the side of his house. He got up using the wall for support. "Good idea! Stay up!" I yelled at him. I grabbed his collar and started punching him as many times as possible in the nose. I kneed him in the stomach and let him trip over a path-light as he came at me.

I heard a few people screaming at us to stop, I looked quickly to see the outlines of Carrie, Kim, Konnie, Trina, and Mina covering their eyes. I wanted to break Lenny, physically. As he started getting up, I put my foot on his head, which caused him to go underneath me by accident; I took advantage of this to stomp on his lower back. He threw his head back and kind of stayed there. I needed to stop before I hurt him permanently. I walked back in the direction we had come from, not looking back.

Corey could handle the rest of his problems without my need to hurt Lenny. I decided to just go home and practice my vocals.

Corey's POV

Lenny was just laying there, his head thrown back as if he were watching Hunter leave. I guess I got what I came for. I had come to get them to put my bike back together when he got in my face, I stepped back and he stepped forward. I nudged him back and he punched me in the face. I guess I do get mad sometimes, because that tore it. I kicked him in the side and walked off after Hunter.

I guessed I would just use my scooter, but I wasn't good on it. Plus the concert was coming up in a couple of days and we hadn't practiced yet. I needed to get everyone together to rehearse or we wouldn't know any songs to play (that fit the concert).

Sorry this chapter was short guys, I had writer's block and couldn't think of anything else to add. Damn you writer's block!

Writer's block: I regret nothing.
