Once everything was ready, everyone went to get ready for the dance. I was in the changing room with Haruhi, since she was a girl as well; even though she dressed as a guy. I slipped my dress over my head after changing my bra and panties, to ones that would fit better under the tight fitting dress.
"Wow, that dress is really pretty. I think the boys will be speechless seeing you."
"Thank you." I sat down on the sofa to put my shoes on. Once my shoes were on I began to work on my hair. I decided to put it up in a high pony tail and curl the rest. Haruhi said she would help me so we were working on that when we heard, "Talia, Haruhi are you just about ready. It is almost time to start taking pictures."
"Yeah we are just finishing with my hair we will be out in a second." I had put my make up before putting on my dress so I didn't get any on the dress.
Haruhi walked out before me, making sure that all of the boys were there to see my dress. I smiled and stepped from the changing room.
~Kyouya's POV~
When Talia stepped out of the changing room everyone paused and stared at her. She was the picture of elegance and beauty tonight; I was captivated by her. She smiled and blushed a little at the attention she was getting from us. I wanted nothing more than to take her in my arms and dance the night away.
~Takashi's POV~
When Talia stepped out of the changing room, I felt my heart sink a little she was wearing his color. Even with how nice it looked on her and how much it made her eyes stand out, I couldn't help but think maybe she didn't like Kyoya better. I looked down and saw Mitsukuni looking at me; he was kind of sad.
~Tamaki's POV~
Talia stepped from the changing room and she was just lovely. She was so beautiful and the color of her dress made the color of her eyes brighter. The dress was form fitting hugging every inch of her causing me to blush a little.
"Talia my darling, you are a picture of perfection tonight. Please accept this for being so wonderful and beautiful. We made this after you left." I hand her the corsage that was for her.
~Talia's POV~
I looked at the plastic box with a corsage in it, Tamaki was holding out for me. I noticed that the colors were that of Kyouya and I wondered if they never noticed that I didn't really like Kyouya that much. I mean I appreciate everything he has done for me but he is not my favorite host. I looked over at Takashi and noticed that he looked sad. I smiled at him hoping I could cheer him up. I didn't want to see him sad like this. He looks at me and smiles gently.
"It is time for us to start." Kyouya announces, and walks away.
I look back at Tamaki who is still holding the corsage. "I am sorry Tamaki I cannot accept that the colors are wrong."
"Whatever do you mean?"
"Kyouya is not my favorite host Tamaki; it is Takashi that is my favorite host."
Takashi smiles bigger and reaches his hand out with another corsage that had the dark blue. I smile and take it from him opening the box and pulling it out.
"Help me put it on please?" I smile; he smiles back and helps me.
"Mori-Senpi did you make this while we were working on the other?"
He nodded, smiling. I was happy seeing him this happy. I went to my place to start taking pictures of the guests.
~Kyouya's POV~
I looked over at Talia and noticed that she had her corsage on however it was dark blue not violet. Was I wrong? Could it be that she really did like Mori-Senpi better than me. I was crushed by this thought, but if he made her happy, I would bow out and let him take the lead. I walked to Mori.
"Take care of her or I will have to come after you."
He looks at me, smiling and nods, "Hai."
Typical Mori never say a word. I walked away keeping an eye on how things were progressing. All of the ladies seemed happy and please with having pictures being taken. Talia was about half way through with Tamaki's guests. After that, she would be doing the Twins guests. The other photographer was taking Haruhi's guests photos, after that would be Hani's and then Mori's as well as the few guests that I had.
~~~~Time Forward~~~~
~Talia's POV~
I was almost finished with Kaoru's guests' pictures when the other started on Takashi's guests. I hoped I had time to get a picture with him. I think it would be the icing on the cake to a wonderful evening. I was thinking about everything and didn't even realize that I had finished with the pictures I was doing. I walked over and stepped into the line for Takashi, there were about 10 girls in front of me and the other photographer was rather quick at taking the pictures. Before I knew it, it was my turn to have my picture taken with Takashi. He smiled seeing me and I smiled back and walked over to him. Unlike the other girls my photo was unique he pulled me into his arms and wrapped them around me tight and protective. I rested my head on his arm making sure that light captured the surface of my face. The guy snapped the picture and printed it. He then handed it to me.
"Print another copy of that one."
I looked over and saw that Kyouya was the one whom had said this. I looked questioningly at him. The guy did as he was told and handed it to Kyouya; he took it and walked over to Takashi. He then placed the picture into the inside pocket of Takashi's jacket.
I smiled, "Thank you Kyouya."
He smiled back at me, "It is only right that both of you have a copy seeing as it is a special night."
He walked away and faded into the crowd of ladies. I looked at Takashi and smiled, he smiled back and we joined the others hosts at the front of the party on the stairs.
Tamaki greeted the guests and the party began. The hosts started dancing with their guests and I walked out on to the balcony. I wasn't jealous of Takashi's guests; I got to see a side of him that no one else did. I wanted to escape the crowd, usually a party like this is where I would take out a target, but that wasn't my life anymore. I leaned on the railing and sighed. I was no longer a killer, but everything in me told me not to get close to them. I knew that it was stupid to think this way anymore, but for so long that is all I knew. Everyone is the enemy, anyone could expose your secret, don't get close, and you won't lose. Takashi was different somehow; begin with him things made sense.
