A/N: Yayy update! The next one should be tomorrow, but it all depends on what I have to do. Okay so this chapter is Rachel centric but mention's Quinn a lot. You'll see a lot of Santana and Magnolia interaction; all fluffy goodness. Some spanish nothing too difficult context clues should help you figure it out. As for the reviewer who thinks this is all ridiculous, here's a tip: don't read it. As for all the other positive reviewers, thank you so much for your encouragement and support! Thanks to followers and favorites it all means a lot! Okay that is enough of this A/N, I hope everyone likes this small filler and don't hate me too much. Anyways...enjoy!

CHAPTER NINE

"Rachel, honey, you have to get out of bed. You've been lying there all day and your daughter has forgotten what you look like." Kurt tried.

Rachel has been moping in bed from the moment she got back from seeing Quinn the previous night. Her hair was in a wild knot at the top of her head and she was in a ratty old T-shirt and the sleep shorts she slept in.

"Kurt, is that—is that you?" Rachel asked sitting higher up and blinking wildly, adjusting her eyes to the light.

"Sweetie," Kurt sat on the bed next to Rachel, "I know this is hard, but it was your decision."

"I know, I know, it's just… I could hear her sobbing as I walked out the house. And Kurt—Kurt she looked so broken. I did that to her. I deserve to suffer alone." Rachel brought the covers over her head and buried herself with a huff.

Kurt was about to get up and leave, but a little girl running in the room stopped him. "Well, hello Magnolia," Kurt greeted.

"Hi. Is mommy still sick?" Lia asked quietly a few feet from the bed.

"Not really, come sit on the bed with us. I'm sure she'll feel a lot better after seeing your beautiful face."

Lia smiled her biggest smile and jumped into Kurt's arms so he could lift her onto the bed.

"Mommy?" Lia shook the fluffy lump of blankets that was Rachel.

"Baby girl?" Rachel peeked out from under the covers.

"Hi!"

"Hi sweetie, come to mommy," Rachel lifted the blankets and held open an arm for her daughter. Rachel instantly felt better as she held Magnolia in her arms.

Kurt admired the sight before him as Rachel was embracing the wonderful feeling. The nice moment was interrupted by the sound of Spanish cursing.

"Magnolia, ven ahora!" Santana said from the hallway.

Santana noticed Rachel's door open and took that as an open invite.

"Well, well, well, look who came out of their cave for the first time all day. And look at that," Santana looked at her empty wrist as if she were wearing a watch, "and only at six in the evening."

"Oh leave her alone, San, she had a rough night," Kurt said.

"You and blondie popped bottles all night or something?"

At this, Rachel held Lia tighter and began to cry.

"Look what you did, Santana," Kurt gave Santana a glare then slid over in the bed to engulf Rachel into a hug.

"What? What did I say? You know what, I don't need this love fest. Mags, I'm going to go make dinner, you wanna ayudame en la cocina?" Santana asked.

Magnolia just nodded and squeezed out between kurt and Rachel and grabbed the Latina's outstretched hand.

Lia understood what Santana said after being around her for so long and learning Spanish whenever she could. Lia didn't really understand whay her mother was so upset at the mention of Quinn so she decided to go help Santana instead.

Kurt and Rachel were left alone, so Kurt took this moment to give some advice.

"Rach, you asked for some time, okay? So talk to her as friends some this week and then, next week you guys can work on building a stable relationship with a good foundation."

"Kurt, I have a confession to make…" Rachel sniffled.

"Yes?"

"Quinn's not the only reason I'm upset. Last night the PR man for Sam and I's show emailed me and he said that the show got good boost after that article about us came out."

"Oh no…" Kurt knew exactly where Rachel was going with this.

"Oh yes… I told him I'm already involved in a relationship and then he called me and explained that my real relationship wasn't out to the public and this one was. I told him that I'm with a woman and apparently that was even more frowned upon."

"Oh my God, Rachel. Well, how long do they want this charade to go on for?"

"Until the show is over which is three months." Rachel began crying again, "I just—I don't know what to tell Quinn! She already thinks I'm cheating on her with Sam. The people over the show want Sam and I to go out Friday night with heavy PDA, She'll never forgive me!"

"Well, you can't keep this from her or she'll be even more angry," Kurt said while rubbing small circles on Rachel's back.

"I know, it's just, I don't know how or when I can tell her. I just broke things off last night I can't just break this to her so soon. She's going to hate me."

"No Rachel, Quinn loves you. Let's see, today's Wednesday, so you can tell Quinn on Friday before you and Sam go out. You can pick up Lia and tell Quinn then, while that sweet teacher down the hall keeps an eye on Lia."

"Okay, I can do that. I just don't want to. This is so stupid!" Rachel slammed her hands down on the bed in frustration.

"Well, calm down. I'll help you figure out what to say."

"Thank you so much Kurt," Rachel leaned over to give her best friend a hug.

"No problem, okay so you could start by saying…"

In the Kitchen Santana POV:

"Sweetie hand me the salt por favor," Santana asked Lia.

Lia got the salt off the table and handed it to Santana.

The little girl loved when her auntie used Spanish around her, it made her feel like a little latina girl even thought there was no Spanish in her blood.

"Mags do you know what's going on with tu mamá?"

"No, all I know is that after you brought me home from school she was still in bed. Oh! And that she cried when you said blondie earlier."

"Hmm, how was Ms. Fabray at school today?" Santana pried.

"Her eyes were really red and puffy and she had a box of tissues around a lot and she looked really sad. I asked her what was wrong and she said that she just wasn't feeling well… like mommy!"

"That's weird." Santana said while mixing her sauce.

"That is weird," Magnolia frowned up.

Santana turned and look at Lia, I guess we'll have to see what the deal is, won't we, sweetheart?"

"Yeah!"
