Hey everyone! Another chapter... this one really didn't change much from the original, just added a bit more detail I guess. I did really like this chapter originally though, so yeah... anyways, I hope you enjoy!

(Disclaimer: I do not own Doctor Who. I only own my OC, Phoenix)

Phoenix appeared face-down in a very fluffy white snow, which chilled her to the bone instantly. Just what she needed, snow. After all of that, she gets thrown onto the snow. Yep, this was her life.

She slowly stood up, glancing around at her surroundings. Where was she anyways?

Apartments, lights, snow. That was about all of the stuff around there. But then she noticed the important part. The extremely important part.

The Doctor was shuffling through the snow, more like staggering actually, toward the Tardis, and the Ood was near him, singing. The Doctor's song was ending.

And it was such a sad song. But it fit. A sad song for the saddest man in the universe. Ironic a bit? Tears slipped down Phoenix's cheeks as the song filled her head with the depressing music. She didn't need more sad stuff just then! She hadn't even gotten over Reinette yet!

She, however, decided to suck it up for until the Doctor regenerated, so she could give the support to him. He was about to regenerate, for God's sake, he needed all the support he could get.

Phoenix ran over to him and wrapped her arm around him, giving him support, and helped him into the Tardis. His feet were dragging across the ground, so that took longer than probably intended.

Phoenix pulled open the Tardis door and helped the Doctor inside. She unwrapped her arm, letting the Doctor go to the console.

She walked forward slowly, shoes making clanging sounds on the metal of the Tardis floor. Tears started streaming down her face as she got closer to the Doctor. Phoenix eventually leaned against the console, right next to where the Doctor was standing.

"It's odd. I know I get to see this you more, that I get to go on more adventures with this regeneration, but it still feels like I won't ever see you again." Phoenix said, staring sadly at the Doctor.

She wrapped both of her arms around his torso, hugging him tight. Tears drifted down her face slowly, really not wanting him to go. Ever.

Phoenix could tell he was about to regenerate, so she pulled away with a sad look in her eye. She ran a finger across his jaw, remembering the even pointier one he got in the next regeneration.

Then, she did something. She didn't know what possessed herself to do it. It was something she had vowed would never happen. But it did. And she wasn't sure what to think anymore.

She leaned in, and kissed him square on the lips.

He slowly kissed back, as if unsure almost. But you could tell he liked it, because he was smiling against Phoenix's lips.

Phoenix felt a slight tingling in her hands, and knew it was almost time to go. She frowned, and pulled backward, out of the kiss.

"Looks like I'm leaving too. Goodbye Doctor. Don't worry, your next regeneration is a good one. Although a bit weird, funny and defiantly smart. And he wears a bowtie, you know? Always says bowties are cool… and don't forget your crashing. I'll see you around, ok? Phoenix said, and hugged him one last time. They were both crying at that point. It was a sad moment.

"I don't want to go." The Doctor said sadly, staring at the glowing Phoenix in front of him.

And then they both go their own ways, Phoenix being pulled through time onto another adventure, while the Doctor regenerated into silly eleven.

Phoenix appeared inside her room in the Tardis, on top of her silk bed. She sighed in relief. She was getting sick of the sad stuff. Which then reminded her of the sad stuff, and she broke down crying.

Reinette's death, and then the Doctor's death. What was next? Rose's death? Amy and Rory's deaths? Who in the universe could possibly fucking know? Future Doctor… but still, fucking hell, she didn't want to do this anymore! She was almost on the brink of exploding! It was just too much for her, all the death and violence. She still wasn't used to it.

Phoenix dried the tears off her face, and put the mask of happiness back on her face. Why not? If she was going to explode, might as well act happy until it happened. It was the human response to everything. That, and procrastinating.

Phoenix pushed herself off her bed and walked over toward the door, but stopped short and looked down. She was still wearing the dress from France, where Reinette died. Phoenix sighed, and slowly hobbled over to her wardrobe and pulled open the wooden doors. Now, to find an outfit….

Seven minutes later, Phoenix was wearing black jeans, black tank top, a red and orange cardigan that looked almost like it was made of flames, red flats, a golden time-turner necklace from Harry Potter, and a silver charm bracelet. She grinned, and walked out of her bedroom, into what looked like either 11's depression Tardis or 12's Tardis. Why did they have to make it so similar?

She walked through the corridors of the ship until she arrived in the console room about 5 minutes later, where she spotted Clara sitting on the console, swinging her legs slightly, staring at the wall.

The console was obviously 12's. It looked like 11's depression Tardis, with the silver floors and silver console, with the flashing buttons and things like that, and the glowing orange circles on the walls. But the time rotor in the middle was a golden orange color, and there were blue rings around the circles, and there were also bookshelves around the place. Oh, and a chalkboard in one corner. Phoenix actually really liked 12's console room, even if it was dark. But generally she was a rather dark person, so it fit her personality as well as the Doctor's.

Phoenix walked around the console area to Clara, and noticed the frown on her face. Her eyes were watery and she was staring out into space, thinking pretty hard. She looked rather depressed.

"Ok, what happened? The Doctor didn't argue with you, did he?" Phoenix questioned, crossing her arms and frowning. If he did… well, the Doctor would be getting the slap of a lifetime.

"No, not that. He…. Changed. I'm not sure who he is anymore." Clara said sadly.

Phoenix sighed slightly. Another case of a companion watching the Doctor change into another person. They really couldn't handle it, could they?

"He is the same man you know. Just a different face. Well, and slightly different personality. You know, if he showed his true age, he would be way older than that. At this point, he's 2000 and something I think. He trusted you Clara, to show at least closer to his real age. He hasn't really done that before you know. He's just gotten younger in his regenerations until now." Phoenix rambled, staring at the time rotor in the middle of the console, a ghost of a smile on her face.

"Really? He's only gotten younger until now?" Clara questioned in disbelief, eyes wide.

"Yep. Maybe I could show you his past selves… sexy?" Phoenix called to the ship, and sure enough, a hologram of the 1st Doctor appeared right in front of Clara. Phoenix smiled, and sat down on the console right next to Clara.

"That's the first doctor. The first him, the original one. That one is very… serious. Not very fun-loving I guess." Phoenix said.

"That's the second Doctor. A little funnier and more caring, but still a lot more reserved than other Doctors."

"That's the third Doctor. He's a cool Doctor, similar to the second version of him. His enemy, the Master, had a really cool beard during that point of time.

"And here's the fourth Doctor. He's very fun loving but also serious when he needs to be. His scarf was always my favorite. It's hilarious! Really long two. But that isn't the worst accessory he's worn."

"The fifth Doctor. He went back to a bit more serious with this one. But the vegetable! Not many people could pull off a decorative vegetable, but you know, the Doctor did it. Feel free to tease him about it later."

"The sixth Doctor, well, his outfit went all crazy in this one. He was basically a walking rainbow! What possessed him to choose this outfit is beyond me. But he was funny and kind of nice, and a pretty cool regen if you ask me."

"Then we have the seventh Doctor, which for some reason decided on the theme of question marks, which I never understood. Question marks for god's sake! This Doctor is pretty cool, as all of them are."

"Eighth Doctor. Always loved that Tardis on this one. He decided on a vintage outfit, which to be fair, he pulled off pretty well. This regen was right before the time war, the one that got his planet destroyed."

"Then we have the War Doctor. This was the Doctor that was in the time war, the one that fought in it. He didn't like being called Doctor, believed he didn't deserve the title, but truthfully, I think he was the Doctor when it was impossible to get it right. He was very nice actually though, contrary to popular belief."

"Here's the ninth Doctor. Oh, nine. This was the doctor dealing with after post-war grief. He was rude and sarcastic one this one, but still nice when he wanted to be. Quite caring too, when you get down to it."

"Then we have ten. The probably sexiest Doctor we will ever have. He was clever, funny, caring, and quite a bit rude at times. He pulled off the trench-coat look pretty well though, don't you think?"

"Here we have eleven, the one you traveled with of course. Oh sweet, caring, weird, funny, eleven. He was always one of my favorites. Fezzes, bowties, Stetsons. They all looked great and silly on him. He was always the mood-lightener, the one that could make you laugh no matter how sad you are."

"And the twelve. Oh, this regen makes me laugh. In a good way, of course. Doesn't like hugs, smarter, more reserved. Reminds me of his older regens. But he's still the same deep inside. Funny and caring, sweet and sexy, weird and extremely rude. I swear, that's the one trait he's kept throughout all of his regenerations. Rude."

"So Clara, what I'm trying to say is, they're all the same person. The same rude person. Yes, he looks different, but he's the same on the inside. He still has the memories with you, and still thinks of you as his best friend. So if you're moping about how he's changed, think about how he feels. What would you feel if your best friend hated how you looked? Pretty bad right? I'm just saying give him a chance to prove to you he's the same man. He's quite funny in his own way you know. Yes, it isn't the same, but don't compare the two. Just take it as it goes. I guarantee, you'll have as much fun with this Doctor as you did the last." Phoenix finished, smiling. She really did like this regeneration. This one was always sarcastic and funny, weird and serious, caring but reserved. And it was almost like a combination of all his past regenerations, which you have to admit, is pretty cool.

Clara smiled, finally understanding it. "Thanks Phoenix. And I will defiantly be teasing him about the celery later on." She said, smirking evilly.

"Oh yeah. The celery was an awful choice in fashion. Horrible. But eh, better celery than other vegetables." Phoenix said thoughtfully. Could you imagine him with an onion or a cucumber? God that would be even weirder…

"Yeah, true." Clara agreed, chuckling slightly.

Phoenix then remembered she was actually originally looking for the Doctor. She had kind of gotten carried away with Clara… "Where is the Doctor anyways?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.

"He went to the library around… five hours ago." Clara said, checking the watch on her left wrist.

"Oh. I'm going to go find him then." Phoenix stated, turning around and walking into the never ending maze that was the Tardis.

Phoenix sighed deeply as she ran into another dead end of the Tardis, for the hundredth time. The Tardis thought it would be funny if she kept Phoenix from her destination, the library. It was like she wanted Phoenix to ask. Phoenix was actually reduced to doing that.

"Sexy, can you please show me the way to the library!" Phoenix exclaimed, frustrated, throwing her hands into the air.

The Tardis brushed Phoenix's mind with laughter, and Phoenix turned a corner to see, oh guess what?

The library.

Phoenix chuckled a bit. It was just like the Tardis to do something like that.

She walked forward into the library, and grinned at the size of it all. It didn't faze her anymore. She had been in there at least three or four times. Phoenix glanced around to notice the Doctor sitting in a chair, back facing her, with millions of books stacked up all around him. It was a mine field waiting to be activated.

She slowly tiptoes over to the stack of books farthest away from him, and pulled out a random blue book from the bottom. That caused an avalanche of books, which had a domino reaction, and all the books fell around the Doctor in a huge pile.

He looked up to spot Phoenix, who was smirking widely.

"Sorry, I really wanted this book…" Phoenix said, waving the book she held around. Then, she gestured to the other books around The Doctor. "It all just kind of fell. What are you reading?"

The Doctor rolled his eyes. "Nothing of your concern." He said.

Phoenix sighed. He should have learned by then. "It's always of my concern." She said, the she quickly snatched the book from his hands, turning it to the cover.

"Physics and Matter: The Advanced guide to the Mysteries of the Universe Volume Two. Of course you would read something like this." Phoenix said, rolling her eyes and chuckling a bit.

"It's a good book." The Doctor grumbled in defense, snatching the book back.

"I bet it is." Phoenix teased, smirking lightly.

"So, when did you get here? And number?" He questioned.

"Hmm… roughly thirty minutes ago. I was talking with Clara, and the ship was being rude again, so that took a while. And the number… well, nine sadly." Phoenix said, frowning slightly.

The Doctor just shrugged, and asked, "What were you and Clara talking about?"

"I was telling her about your past selves. Did you know, the Tardis has holograms of all of your regens? Clara enjoyed the visuals." Phoenix said, smirking.

"Wait. You showed her… all of my regens." The Doctor stats, raising his eyebrows slightly.

"Yep. Be prepared to be bombarded with teasing about the celery." Phoenix teased lightly, grinning. She still didn't get why the hell he chose celery!

He groans. "Not the celery." He said dramatically. Phoenix smirked.

"You shouldn't have chosen it if you didn't want to get teased about it later…" Phoenix said, rolling her eyes slightly.

"I can still regret it though." The Doctor said, sighing and closing his book with a 'thump'.

Phoenix laughed. "Come on then. Clara is waiting to go on adventures with you, you know." She said, grabbing the Doctor's hand and pulling him toward the exit of the library. He groaned, but didn't put up a fight.

When they get there, the Doctor starts doing math or something on his chalkboard, while Clara is swiveling in the captain's chair, and Phoenix is sitting on the console, swinging her legs.

"Take a punt." The Doctor said to Clara, turning around abruptly from his drawings.

"Right." Clara replied, slightly confused.

"You choice. Wherever, whenever, anywhere in time and space." The Doctor said, somewhat excitingly. Close enough for his standards at least.

"Well, there is something, someone that I've always wanted to meet. But I know what you'll say." Clara remarked, frowning slightly.

"Try me." The Doctor said, raising his eyebrows. Phoenix smirked.

"You'll say he's made up, that there is no such thing." Clara continued, glancing toward Phoenix and smirking.

"Go on." The Doctor said, basically rolling his eyes.

"It's…. It's Robin Hood!" Clara exclaimed excitingly.

"Robin Hood, the heroic outlaw, who robs from the rich and gives to the poor." The Doctor remarked, staring at the ceiling.

"Yeah…" Clara said, hope shining bright in her eyes.

"Hopes and dreams being crushed in 3…2…1…" Phoenix mumbled, rolling her eyes.

"He's made up. There's no such thing." The Doctor said matter-of-factly.

"Ah, you see?" Clara said to Phoenix, gesturing to the Doctor. Phoenix giggled slightly and grinned.

"I know for a fact Robin Hood is real. And if, Doctor, you don't believe me, why don't we pop down to Sherwood Forest to check it out?" Phoenix said, raising her eyebrows.

"Very well…" The Doctor sighed, starting to press the buttons on the console to set the coordinates.

"Earth. England. Sherwood Forest. 1190AD. Ish. But you'll only be disappointed." The Doctor said in monotone, then he pulled down the lever to materialize the Tardis on the ground.

Phoenix grinned, but then felt the familiar tingling in her hands, and she looked down to see herself glowing bright gold.

"Damn it… I wanted to go meet Robin Hood too. Ugh. Well, I guess I will be coming another time then. See you around, Doctor, Clara." Phoenix said, smiling slightly and waving goodbye.

Clara waved back, while The Doctor just nodded his head in goodbye. It was good enough for Phoenix though.

She disappeared in a brilliant flash of bright golden light, leaving the Doctor and Clara to meet Robin Hood in Sherwood Forest themselves.

Phoenix reappeared inside 11's depression Tardis, but it happened to be exploding at the time.

"What the hell?" Phoenix exclaimed, getting launched right into the metal bar on the side, sending pain shooting up her spine.

"Phoenix?" Phoenix heard the Doctor exclaim, and she slowly turned her head to see Clara and the Doctor holding onto the console. It dawned on her what episode she was in. Journey to the Center of the Tardis.

"Oh this is great. I was going to Sherwood Forest! Well, this could be fun in its own way… Clara, grab that button thing." Phoenix said, pointing at the silver button rolling across the Tardis floor.

Clara bent down to pick it up, but it burnt her hand and she dropped it. She inspected the marks that the button had now left marks all over her hand.

Then, a big explosion with tons of sparks and light covered Phoenix's vision, and sent her flying again, this time landing on the Tardis floor. Her vision fogged up, then everything went black.

Yay! Cliffhanger! Sort of! Ooh, I have so many ideas for Journey to the Center of the Tardis... Anyways, I hope you enjoyed!
