As people started to get impatient (I don't blame you at all, I'm horrible) I had to post this chapter without getting it beta checked. So I'm so so so so sorry about spelling, grammar and generally bad English ^^ But hey, it's either this or waiting even longer!
"Remmi! I'm home," said Sirius and stepped into the flat. He hung up his coat and scarf and made his way to the kitchen. The flat was rather messy but Sirius was glad to find it that way. That meant that Remus hadn't taken time to clean when he was tired and hurt. Sirius was a bit late home, but he had picked up a very special and excellent gift for Remus on his way home. He was about to explode of excitement and couldn't wait to give it to Remus.
"Remmi? For real?" Remus looked up at Sirius from his book where he sat at the table. Next to him stood a cup filled to the limit with tea. Remus raised one eyebrow at the ridiculous nickname and watched Sirius slung himself in the opposite chair with a wide grin.
"Yes, that's you!" said Sirius happily. Remus couldn't help but smile; it was actually a cute name. No one had ever called him that.
"Anyway, I've got something for you," continued Sirius, still grinning and was using a voice like he talked to a child.
"You have already bought be everything I need and more," said Remus and fingered his sleeve with a small smile. Sirius noticed how nervous and flushed Remus got every time he talked about buying things for him or when he mentioned money or shopping.
"Well, if you're so afraid of being a burden to me and also claims that I've got you everything you need, then why are you wearing my sweater?" asked Sirius and smirked. Remus got red in his face and looked down in his cup.
"I…It was…I didn't know-" started Remus before Sirius interrupted him.
"It alright, take it easy! Now," said Sirius and placed a long, black box in front of Remus. He watched Remus with wide, expectant eyes. "Know what it is?" Remus eyed the package with a confused look.
"Eh…no,"
"WELL, OPEN IT THEN!" cried Sirius, waving his arms in the air.
Remus giggled on his special cute way and reached for the box. With his pale and thin hands he lifted the lid and carefully removed the paper inside it. When he saw the light brown wand inside the box, he gave a small gasp and watched it with wide glittering eyes. The wand Sirius had bought was thinner and slightly taller than his own, it matched Remus' hair and eyes.
"Siri…I can't, it's too much," Remus breathed.
"No it's not. Besides, this is something you really need," said Sirius reasonable.
"I can never pay you back for this..." said Remus quietly and picked up the wand from its box.
I know a way to pay me back...thought Sirius, but thankfully didn't say.
"Don't have to." anwered Sirius and paused. "Did you call me Siri?" he asked with a sly smile. Remus looked up and blushed. He clearly hadn't thought of that.
"Eh, well-"
"And you think 'Remmi' is ridiculous!" Sirius interrupted. Remus was about to reply, but stopped himself and smiled. He looked down at the wand in his hands again, taking in every inch of it. "I think this one will fit you better," said Sirius while he watched Remus. "Try it,"
Remus held the wand in his right hand and moved it to fit perfectly in his hand.
"Lumos," said Remus quietly but with full concentration. And to his amazement the wand lit up with a pale light, but after a few seconds it went out again, but Remus didn't seem to mind, he was shining brighter than the wand when he said "It worked! I am a wizard!"
"Sure you are," said Sirius and smiled.
"I just never thought it was possible..." mumbled Remus, much to himself. Sirius stood up and walked over to the fridge.
"Dinner?" he asked and looked over at Remus who still stared at his new wand.
"Mm…sure…" Remus turned in his chair to look at Sirius. "You're staying home tonight, right?" he asked with a small, worried voice. The whole week Sirius had been forced to work late or go on order missions after work. He felt really bad for leaving Remus alone, especially at nights when he already been gone all day.
Sirius looked into Remus' eyes with a sad smile.
"It's a meeting starting at eight…" he said and the disappointed, sad look on Remus face made him want to quite as an order member.
"Hey," he said and lifted Remus chin to meet his eyes. "You can come with me, if you don't want to be alone,"
"I can't go…I don't know anything and I can't do anything to help…"
"Maybe not yet, but you will learn magic and you wouldn't be alone all the time," said Sirius and smiled. "James and Lily will be there,"
"Okay," he said after a while of thinking. "I'll come with you,"
"Great, I'll tell them you'll come,"
Sirius held Remus tightly in his arms as they appareted to a small, wildly grown garden in front of an old looking house. Remus looked around and shuddered of the cold. The house infront of them was big with several wobbly floors and different shaped windows. Sirius placed his hand on Remus' back and led him towards the front door.
"We're a bit late, most of them are probably here already," said Sirius and knocked on the cracked door. Noise came from inside and a woman's voice was heard. They heard the door being locked up from inside and when the door opened, a short, pudgy woman stood in the doorway. She wore a home knitted cardigan and an apron. She looked like a very busy mother.
"Sirius, arrived in the last minute as always," she said a bit annoyed with her hands on her waist. She then turned to Remus with a kind smile. "And you must be Remus, it's so nice to meet you, dear," she said with a much more gentle voice. "Come in,"
They stepped in to a small hallway and hung of their coats. The house was cozy with old furniture's in different colors. It showed that they didn't spend much money on their home.
"I'm Molly Weasley," said the woman turned to Remus. "Can I get you anything, tea?" Remus looked at Sirius who smiled back at him.
"Yes, please," said Remus, quieter then it was supposed be. She gave him a warm smile and informed them that the others sat in the kitchen before she hurried away to make tea. Sirius was about to follow her when he felt Remus tug at his sleeve.
"Yes?" he asked gently and turned around.
"Eh...Sirius, I'm...shy. I wonder if...Do I have to talk and discuss things," he said and looked down at the floor.
"No, of course not! I'll sit next to you and you don't need to say a thing. Most people just listen," said Sirius with a smile. "Come," Remus still had a tight grip of Sirius' arm as they walked towards the kitchen. Sirius knew that Remus was shy, he never talked much and never to anyone except from Sirius.
Sirius led Remus into the familiar kitchen. On a long table sat several wizards and witches, talking to each other about different subjects. Kingsley, Arthur, Frank, Alice, Fabian and Peter were some of them. There weren't many of the members there today. Lily turned to them in her chair and smiled. Remus stood a bit behind Sirius with a fast grip of his arm and looked at the people around the table. They sat down next to Lily and James, Remus between Lily and Sirius.
People kept talking while Remus studied them. His eyes landed on a dark, greasy haired man who looked back at him with black evil eyes. His eyes bored into Remus, like he was annoyed of Remus' existence. It made him nervous and he immediately looked down. Mrs Weasly came over with a hot cup of tea and a few biscuits for him and Sirius and when she'd sat down next to a red haired man, the meeting started.
As an old man with long white hair and beard welcomed them all to the meeting, he gave Remus an extra smile, before continuing. He talked about things Remus didn't quite understand. Remus knew about the death eaters and about the coming 'war' that people talked about, but not much more than that. He looked around the table and when he met the greasy haired man's eyes again he quickly looked at the other side of the table where his eyes landed on an odd looking man. It was something wrong with his eye, one was fast on Dumbledor and the other traveled around the order members and stayed on Remus. It frightened him and he turned his gaze to look at Sirius next to him who looked bored. James leaned closer to Sirius and whispered something to him which made Sirius smile and he whispered something back to him. Sirius had a brilliant smile, it always made Remus feel safe and happy. He also had nice hair, Remus had touched it when Sirius was sleeping, it was so soft…
Sirius interrupted his thoughts by turning to him and give him his most charming smile before sipping from his cup.
"So, how boring was that?" said Sirius and climbed into bed next to Remus.
"Better than staying home alone," said Remus and yawned. He turned to his side and looked into Sirius' eyes.
"I guess," said Sirius. "So what did you think?"
"I liked Mrs Weasley, she was nice…But some of them seemed a little strange…" said Remus. "The man with the odd looking eye starred at me…"
"That's Madeye, my boss. He's paranoid and probably thought you were a spy for the death eaters," said Sirius and rolled his eyes.
"Oh…and the other man with black, long hair. He looked angrily at me…" mumbled Remus.
"Snivellus. He's a dick. Don't ever listen to him or take in what he says. He will try to hurt you or offend you," said Sirius and shifted closer to Remus. "But don't care about him,"
"How do you know him?"
"We went in school together," said Sirius. "But he was a Slytherin and me and James were Gryffindors."
"What's that?" asked Remus and looked at Sirius with big curious eyes.
"It's two of the four houses on Hogwarts. You don't know about them?"
"No, I don't know much about Hogwarts," said Remus and yawned again. Sirius smiled at how adorable he looked and moved even closer to wrap an arm around him. Remus smiled at him before closing his eyes and burry his face into Sirius' shirt.
"Tell me something," said Remus tiredly.
"What?" asked Sirius with raised eyebrows. He waited for Remus to add something.
"Anything," he sighed. "A story. About your family…or your last girlfriend, I don't care, just tell me something."
Sirius thought of what to tell Remus. He certainly didn't know any stories and talking about his family always made him on bad temper.
"I don't feel like talking about my family and I haven't had a girlfriend for a long time," said Sirius slowly. It was a very long time since he had a girlfriend…must have been in his sixth year. "It was years ago, think she was called Catharina or Cathrine or something. It didn't work out…"
"Why not?"
"I lost the interest and she noticed it. She was great though," said Sirius and looked over Remus' head as he thought about her. "She understood me..." Remus shifted his head against Sirius' chest and let out a sigh.
"You must have had many girlfriends?" said Remus quietly. Sirius smiled, truth was he has had a lot of girlfriends.
"Yes, but it never lasted long. I quickly got uninterested. I noticed that I…didn't want a girlfriend."
"No?" mumbled Remus with his face still hidden into Sirius shirt. "Do you want a boyfriend?" he mumbled.
"I guess I'd like that better. I've had a lot of…not boyfriends, it never lasted, but you know. Like I told you at the bar a few weeks ago. It was mostly to piss of my mum," said Sirius. "What about you? Do you want a girl or a guy?"
Remus stayed quiet for a while before he slowly said, "I'm not sure…I mean, I've never been with anyone or kissed anyone. But I think I'd rather have a…boyfriend," he mumbled. As he talked he fingered Sirius' shirt nervously.
They were quiet for a long time. Each of them thinking of the confessions they made. Sirius didn't really know what to say or do. He had feelings for Remus and felt like their meeting wasn't a coincidence. Wonder if he feels the same way? He never showed it though…but then again, he always tried to hide his emotions. Sirius shifted from Remus and propped himself up on his elbow. He looked down at Remus who had turned to his back and now watched Sirius with big glittering eyes. It was hard to see because of the darkness in the room, but Sirius could still see him since they were so close to each other.
"Rem…" he started in a whisper since there were no need to talk loader. "I really…like you,"
"I like you too," whispered Remus and breathed fast through his slightly open mouth. Sirius felt his heart beat faster at the respond and he started breathing as fast as Remus. He reached out his hand and gently stroked Remus' hair while focusing on his eyes.
"I…I'm going to kiss you now…" said Sirius quietly unable to think straight. ",If you don't want me to, just stop me," he breathed. Then he leaned over Remus slowly, to give him time to push him away, but to his surprise he never did.
So Sirius leaned down all the way and gently pressed his lips against Remus. It was wonderful. First Sirius didn't dared to move at all, he expected Remus to push him away any time now. But when he didn't, he carefully moved his lips and Remus started move with him in a slow motion. The kiss was simple, no tongue, just soft lips, but it was the best Sirius ever had.
Sirius pulled away a bit to look down at Remus, he was breathless. Remus had his lips parted and his eyes still closed.
"I liked that," Remus breathed. Sirius smiled at him and bent down to kiss his cheek. As Sirius' long hair tickled Remus' face he opened his eyes to meet Sirius' and smiled back at him.
"How was your first kiss?" asked Sirius quietly and looked down at the beautiful boy underneath him.
"The best...I'm think...I think I'm gay," said Remus and slowly reached out his hand to touch Sirius' face. His fingers were cold and felt good against Sirius' flushed cheek. "You're so handsome…" Remus mumbled to himself. Sirius smiled down at him, Remus was always so quiet and closed otherwise. But when Remus realized what he had said, he met Sirius eyes in shock.
"It's okay. You're very pretty too," said Sirius and touched Remus' nose with his own. He then leaned down to cuddle Remus face and buried his nose in his hair. Remus face was warm and flushed and he giggled as Sirius nipped his ear.
"Sirius?"
"Mm, Remmi?" asked Sirius and nuzzled Remus' hair.
"Can I have…one of those kisses again?" he asked shyly. Sirius smiled and leaned over Remus again.
"You don't need to ask,"
Okay there you have it...I'm done with the next chapter too but it's even crapier than this one so I need to fix that.
If you have any requests, please tell me. It might help me a lot.
