I want to thank everyone for your continuous support. I've enjoyed writing this story immensely. I may or may not be adding a sequel- let's see how this goes first. Happy reading and again, thank you all.

Santa Barbara

Juliet pushed her head deeper into the pillow and sighed happily. It was almost

"Alcatraz. Fuck, Buzz suggested that. I told him to cross it off!" Juliet growled in frustration.

"Well we know where they are. I'm calling the Police in San Francisco now, we should have them back in a few hours." Vick left the room.

"To San Francisco." Henry announced following her out of the room.

Juliet laid her head against the seat as they drove through Salinas California, only three hours into the five hour long drive. So far they had no news if Shawn and Gus had been recovered. It made Juliet tense. She knew where Shawn was, and yet had no idea how he was. Was he safe? Or was in one of the cells being tortured to death? Was he even alive? Gus had mentioned that they were mainly okay, somewhat? What did 'Mainly' mean? Juliet knew she wasn't the only one worried about the two men.

Henry's leg was bouncing up and down; his hand was tapping on his arm as he sighed for the hundredth time. Vick was checking her phone every few seconds to see if any message had appeared. Carlton who was normally a very good driver, was honking the cars horn every few seconds. Maddie who was sitting between Juliet and Henry, was taking turns comforting the two people. After Henry gave a single grunt saying, "Leave me alone." Maddie had pulled out a book. Juliet looked at the book and noticed she'd been on the same page for about thirty minutes.

Juliet sighed and let her head roll against the cool window. She really wanted to know what the hell was happing with Shawn. She needed to see his big goofy smile. She needed to hear him crack a single joke. She craved to feel her lips against his-

"Yes?" Everyone shot out of their dazes when Vick answered her shortly ringing phone. "Uh huh." She said before pausing.

"Well?" Henry demanded.

"Shh!" she waved her hand at him. Henry's jaw clenched as he waited like everyone else. "Thank you so much Captain." Vick said into the phone before hanging up.

"Well?" Henry repeated with much more force. Vick sighed and turned in her seat.

Alcatraz

"Almost there!" Gus huffed as he and I ran quickly towards the dock we were supposed to. I was out of breath, and my sides were hurting. I really need to get more exercise… "Yes!" Gus and I jumped onto the wooden planks of the dock and looked around.

"There!" I pointed to an object five feet away. Gus and I lifted up a heavy sheet of plastic and I swear to God, Gus almost broke into tears.

"Get in!" Gus and I hopped into the boat. Gus started fiddling with the red gas can as I turned towards the shore that was San Francisco. I could see the Golden Gate Bridge's red paint glistening in the sun light. I was so entranced by the red glare that I didn't feel the purr of an engine vibrating the boat.

"Well done!" A voice yelled. Gus and I jerked around. A man was standing on the dock. He had short red hair and pure blue eyes.

"Rain I presume?" I asked nodding at him.

"Yes. I'm sorry to hear about your amnesia Shawn." Rain said putting his hands in his pocket. Rain was wearing a red tee-shirt, much like the ones Gus and I was wearing.

"We passed your little game. It's only right you let us go." Gus said looking at the man standing behind Rain. The man looked to be at least six feet tall, his arms were bulky and heavily coated in muscles.

"True, very true. However, you didn't pass it right." Rain made a tisking sound.

"What do you mean?" I questioned.

"Well, you're supposed to remember this as Shawn Spencer. But you have no idea who you are. Therefore, you didn't pass it right." Gus made a sound of protest but was stopped as the man behind Rain stepped closer to the boat. "I'll still be letting you go. I'm just going to have make sure you land where I want you too. Happy sailing boys." Rain turned and walked away. The man stepped into the boat and knocked Gus out with a hit to the head. He turned to me and gave a big smile. He lifted up his arm and in one smooth motion, I felt the pistol in his hand connect with my head and I fell to the ground.

San Francisco

The car jerked to a stop as they arrived to where they had been told to go.

"Are they okay?" Juliet nearly shouted.

"They don't know where the boys are-," Vick had started but was interrupted by Maddie.

"Then why call? They said they would call when they had news about where Shawn and Gus were." Maddie all but threw her book onto the floor.

"They got a note. Basically, Shawn and Gus are going to be placed somewhere off the bay." Vick reported.

"That's one-thousand- six- hundred square miles to cover." Henry said.

"I know. They have teams slowly searching each area. It'll take them hours." Vick explained, "If they're not found by the time we get there, we'll be joining the search."

"You bet your ass we will." Carlton said as he sped up on the road.

"Maddie, Henry, hit the high streets, see if anyone has seen Shawn or Gus." Vick instructed as Henry and Maddie turned towards the many shops and people caking the road. "Carlton, go and check the bushes by the water- anything they could be hidden in. O'Hara, look by the docks." Vick finished before pulling out her phone. Carlton and Juliet turned separate ways as they carried out their assignments.

Juliet walked onto the wooden pier and looked around aimlessly for Shawn and Gus. She walked down the wooden planks hearing or looking for any sign that could point her towards Shawn. She sighed and stomped her foot on the ground in frustration.

"Ow!" she heard a loud yell. Juliet froze and looked around. No one was near her. "Damn." That voice. Juliet listened closely. She heard movement from below. Juliet looked between the cracks of the board. She saw a dark red tee-shirt and a mess of brown hair.

San Francisco (Shawn's POV)

"Ugh," I moaned sitting up. My head ached, and so did just about every other part of my body. I turned my neck and yelped when a muscle was pulled. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I opened them back up and assessed where we were. The boat we were in was rocking with the water; a little piece of a dock was about an arm's length away. The boat had been tucked under the pier above us. I sighed and was about to stand when a sharp smack from above sent something crashing onto my head.

"Ow!" I yelled pushing what I now know was a lobster cage into the water. "Damn!" I cursed cutting my finger on a rusted part of the metal. I put my finger into my mouth and sucked softly. I looked around and I was surprised to see a pair of feet on the dock.

"Shawn?" a voice called.

"Jules?" I answered.

"Shawn?!" I heard her pitch rise. "Where are you?" she asked. I reached out and was able to pull the boat from under the pier and next to the dock. Before I knew what was happening, I was pulled out of the boat and I was on the pier.

San Francisco

"Shawn?" Juliet called.

"Jules?" his voice answered her back. Juliet's face broke out with a smile.

"Shawn?! Where are you?" she couldn't help but shout. She looked down as an arm appeared from nowhere and yanked the dock. A boat glided from the water and hit the dock. As soon as Juliet could, she grabbed Shawn's frame and yanked him from the boat. She collapsed onto the dock and hugged Shawn.

"Thank God you're okay." She mumbled into his neck. Shawn sighed and moved out of her arms. He sat up properly and smiled at her.

"Miss me much Jules?" he teased.

"Of course." Juliet grabbed Shawn once again and plopped her lips onto his. She was ecstatic when Shawn kissed her back. He not only kissed her back, but pulled her into his embrace. "Don't ever do that to me again." She whispered pulling away.

"Never." He nodded his agreement, his hands resting on her hips.

"Where's Gus?" Juliet questioned. As if on cue, a disoriented Gus rose up from the boat. He moaned loudly, rubbing his head.

"Shawn? Juliet?" he nearly shouted.

"Hey Gus-!" she was going to say more but had once again been pulled into a kiss by Shawn.

Santa Barbara

"So you have no idea where this Rain guy is?" Carlton asked jotting down some notes on his yellow legal pad.

"No Lassie, I'm sorry. I told you, it's all a big blur. I don't remember much." Shawn answered tapping his hands against the metal table.

Henry grunted and shifted feet, "How is that possible?"

"He had amnesia." Gus added to help explain things.

"That would explain why you said you guys were kinda okay." Juliet said placing a hand on the back on Shawn's head. The two had fully resumed their relationship, and were quite happy with each other. They were rarely apart, even while Juliet was at work Shawn could be seen at her side at all seconds of the day.

"I didn't remember anything." Shawn agreed with Gus's statement.

"What happened after Rain spoke to you on the dock?" Carlton shifted in his chair.

"We blacked out. And I assume we were put in the boat and dropped off to the place where my dear Jules found us." He flashed a smile in Juliet's direction. Juliet smiled and chuckled softly. Carlton sighed and rolled his eyes. While he was happy that Juliet was back to her old happy-self, that meant he once again had to be nice to the goofball known as Spencer.

"Okay. And that's all?" he checked looking at Gus.

"Yes." Gus nodded in confirmation.

"Can we go now?" Shawn looked at Vick who had been standing silently by the door. "I'm tired, and I would like to take Juliet on a well-deserved date."

"Alright, but have your cell on, we might have more questions." She then turned and left the room without another word.

"Shall we go my dear?" Shawn bounced up out of the chair and held his hand out for Juliet to take. She gladly took his hand and stood up. After a few last parting words to Henry and Gus, Shawn and Juliet found themselves sitting on a Park Bench near the station less than ten minutes later.

"Remember this place?" Juliet leaned her head against Shawn's shoulder. She carefully lifted his broken wrist which was covered in a white cast and set it gently into her lap.

"Of course, this is where you suggested that I stay at your place for the first time." Shawn said kissing the top of her blonde hair.

"I really missed you Shawn," she sighed happily. "I couldn't stop worrying about you."

"I know baby," he looked down at her.

"Can I ask you something?" she met his eyes.

"Anything." He shrugged.

"What did you mean?" she asked.

"What?" Shawn's face read confusion.

"I overheard a conversation between you and Gus. You said you wanted to leave…" Juliet trailed off into silence, her eyes darting away. Shawn shifted uncomfortably in his seat.

"I… it was a thought Jules. I get this need to run, this need for adventure and trouble." Shawn began to explain, "I was restless. And nervous."

"Nervous?" It was her turn to be confused.

"I was going to propose to you." Shawn told her, "I started to overthink it and I got a little bouncy." Juliet stayed soundless as he continued his story. "I was scared you would turn me down, and the need to run became a constant thought. I was telling Gus about it, and he talked me down. And Juliet." He lifted her chin so their eyes were connected. "I'm so glad that I did. I can't imagine my life without you."

Juliet took a deep breath. Shawn Spencer had just confessed that he was going to propose to her. This man, the long time commitment-phobe, childish man was going to propose. Juliet shook her head and sighed. He was just so amazing. Whenever she felt she had figured him out, he threw something like this at her.

"Jules?" Shawn said her name nervously. The silence upsetting him.

"Are you still going to?" her voice was low, he barely heard her.

"What?"

"Are you still going to propose to me?" she said louder. She sat up and faced him.

"I don't know, maybe." Shawn shrugged.

"Well, you're never going to get the chance. Marry me Shawn." Juliet blurted out.

"What?" Shawn repeated, "Are you serious right now?"

"Yes," Juliet nodded. "I can't think of you not in my life. When you were gone, and I had no idea what was happening to you- it drove me insane Shawn. I want to know where you are at all times; I want to wake up in bed with you. I need to see you every God damned day for the rest of my life. I need you to marry me Shawn." Juliet finished her little speech and was rewarded with a bright smile and kiss.

"I'd love to marry you." He said breaking away. Juliet smiled and pecked his lips again, her hand going into his hair. "Although, can we tell people I asked you? It makes me seem manlier." Juliet chuckled breathlessly with a nod. They shared one more happy kiss before jumping up and running back to the station to give their news. It looked like Shawn wouldn't be needing an escape after all.

Hope you guys enjoyed this last chapter.
