And here after much ado and weeks of effort is Chapter 5. This by far has been the hardest chapter to produce to date. From scripting, to plot relevance, to just getting it typed, this has been the longest three weeks of work I've put into this story and the longest chapter to date (Just shy of 11,000 words).

Throughout it all the reviews from you the readers have been great, specifically readers like potentialauthor18 who I'm convinced is the first and last to read each chapter and Sapphiqu3 who has gone to great lengths to help see where I need improvement so I may continue to increase the quality of each chapter.

This chapter marks the first batch of OC characters that made the cut into the story, so keep your eyes peeled for cameo's and shout outs.

Disclaimer: RWBY is own by Monty Oum and Rooster Teeth productions...if I owned it there would be far more battles with hoards of faceless goons in suits.

After a week at Beacon, Robin had learned a few things. He'd noticed Piezhi was almost as interested in Daedalus' stories as he was excited to tell them and that no matter how late he stayed up watching her the second he fell asleep Eris would sneak into his bed. In his classes he'd learned that Nidhogg was a great partner for their weapons maintenance class, Artemis was a great person to ask for help finding books in the library, and that you never wanted to be on wrong team when playing Perciva in a game of dodge ball. But today Robin was learning firsthand just why everyone called Jackie "Spring-heeled".

"This is gonna hurt." He thought as her heavy boot-gun connected with his gut. Robin sunk down a little, willing his knees not to give out on him as Jackie sprung backwards and landed on one leg. Her other leg was already cocked back preparing to shoot when Robin fired a blast from his cannons sending him flying to the right and out of the path of Jackie's shots. The fight had gone on like this for the better part of the last five minutes, with Robin constantly on the defensive and Jackie alternating from trying to hit him at a distance and coming in close to kick the ever loving daylights out of him. He tried firing back a volley of his own but she blasted off into the air high above the combat hall's stage and swung her legs around sending several haphazard shots in his direction forcing him to roll out of the way. "You maggots have got to be kidding me!" Came the boisterous shout of Sergeant Rlee their guest instructor. "Cappson you can't spend the whole fight dodging and try'n to line up a shot, anyone with half as much speed as Jackson here won't give you enough time to breath let alone sight down on them, and your defense is abymal, are you trying to become a huntsman or a punching bag?!" This earned a mean spirited giggle from Jackie once she landed which only served to shift the target of the Sergeant's ire. "And what exactly is so funny there Jackson? You're just as bad as the kid here. Tell me what's the point of having guns on your feet if you can't hit anything unless it's less than an inch from that stupid grin of yours? At least every one of Cappson's shots would have hit their mark if you hadn't dodged, but now I have an arena full of hole from you trying to fire at something you couldn't hit 'less it walked up on its tip toes and gave you a kiss. Now the both of you get down off my stage before I make you start running laps through Emerald forest until you puke." He bellowed at the two before turning to the class.

"I can't believe they talked me into coming here and wasting my time trying to whip you sorry excuses for huntsmen into shape!" Rlee shouted standing before the class like a general addressing his troops. He was a short man, but incredibly imposing despite his size. He wore clean and crisply pressed army green fatigues decorated with an incredible number of glittering medals and commendations with his wide brimmed Sergeant's hat hiding his flat-buzzed graying hair. His gaunt, age worn face seemed to be pulled into a permanent scowl and he seemed to take marked interest in angrily yelling at everyone in the class. "You think just 'cause you managed to survive an afternoon in the Emerald forest that you're the cream of the crop, but I'm here to tell ya that that don't mean squat. Right now you greenhorns are hardly fit to be called cadets. But since I'm here now I will not rest until you maggots are some of the best huntsmen and huntresses that have ever walked these halls, no matter how much you beg me to stop." His scowl seemed to twist into an even more terrifying grin as he said this.

"Thank you Sergeant, I believe that will be enough for today." Glynda said walking up beside him on the stage. She seemed to wearily eye the old military man as he continued impassively staring out over the class. "Do not forget to prepare for next week's joint exam with Professor Arch's combat tactics class. As your first exam it will have a significant impact on your grades as well as your position in the class for the remainder of this semester."

"And anyone who doesn't pass will be spending the next month with me after school in special supplementary lessons in the Emerald forest." Rlee added with a hint of joy.

The bell sounded and class was dismissed. Robin and Daedalus gathered their gear and followed the mass of student out of class, Robin doing his best to avoid eye contact with anyone after his embarrassing display during the match. "C'mon man, it wasn't that bad." Dae tried to comfort.

"Are you kidding me, I was terrible up there. Rlee was right, maybe I do make a better punching bag than a huntsman." Robin moped.

"Hey I thought you got over that whole self-doubt shtick already. Listen, if I had a lien for every time I watched Jackie kick the crap outta someone in a combat class back at Signal I could rent a house next door to the Schnees." Dae put his hands behind his head while he indulged in a private fantasy of wealth and fortune. "Just give it time."

"That's easy for you to say, you had a good match last week against Artemis."

"Are you kidding me, if I didn't have Dix watching my back she woulda taken my head off with one of those crazy boomerangs of hers." Dae complained eliciting a small smile from Robin.

"Hey, I think that would have at least given you a better haircut." Robin joked.

"Very funny, coming from a guy who wears a hat every day." They were interrupted by a brief ringing coming from Daedalus' wrist display. "Daedalus, you are to report the headmaster's office immediately." Dix chimed through his speakers.

Robin narrowed his eyes at his green haired partner who was already looking very sheepish "What did you do this time?"

"Hey, don't look at me like that, I'm innocent I swear. I haven't done anything since that fire in Professor Peach's class. I only just got done with all that detention."

"Alright, then what do they want?"

"How should I know? C'mon, let's go figure this out." Robin followed Dae until they came to very ornate looking elevator, above it hung an ornate plaque the read Headmaster in big bold font. "Alright man wait here, I'm just gonna go iron this out, and then we can go hit up the town."

"Whatever you say Dae." Robin sighed as Dae slipped into the elevator that would lead him up the tower to Ozpin's office.

In the office….

For a student of only just over a week, Daedalus was already becoming intimately familiar with Professor Ozpin's office. He couldn't help but admire the strange clockwork room every time he came in as well as notice the pleasant scent of almost perpetually fresh brewed coffee. Though he had to admit the armchairs were the best seats he'd ever sat on in any principal's office and that was a plus. The gray haired headmaster was seated behind crescent shaped desk sipping his coffee and looking over some papers when Daedalus strode in. "Ah Mister Verde, please have a seat."

"Can I just say for once in all honesty, whatever it is, I didn't do it." Dae pleaded before his butt even hit the seat.

"That's for us to decide." Came a gruff voice from behind him. Two tall thin men dressed in black suits and matching dark sunglasses strode up to the desk and glared at Daedalus. One had long deep black hair and an irritable expression, while the other had close shaven sandy hair and an unsettling smile. He noticed that on each of their lapels they wore a pin with the Schnee Dust company insignia on it.

"Mister Verde these men are from the Schnee Dust Company's private security force, they'd simply like to ask you a few questions." Ozpin reassured despite how the two men continued to stare menacingly at Dae.

"Can you tell us where you were on the night of the 4th between 1:00 and 2:00 am?" The dark haired one asked taking off his glasses to reveal a pair of cold coal colored eyes.

"The 4th? Of this month?" Dae tried to stall. This wasn't the first time he'd been in a situation like this, but the two angry men in suits who were now slowly closing in on him were not helping him stay calm.

"Yes of this month!" The other yelled slamming his fist on the top of Dae's chair making him jump despite himself.

"Gentlemen please." Ozpin warned from his own seat, now warily eyeing the two as went about their interrogation. "Mister Verde, please try to answer their questions as best you can."

"Right…well that was the night before I left for Beacon, yeah. I was up all night getting ready, you know packing my bags, sharpening my pencils, washing behind my ears, y'know the usual." Dae was trying to keep a level tone in his voice and not grip the arm rest too tightly.

"Interesting, because that was the same night someone broke into one of our Dust processing facilities. Whoever it was destroyed thousands of lien in machinery and made off with quite a bit of our freshly refined Dust." The black haired suit explained leaning in close to Dae while reaching for a Scroll tucked inside his jacket. "The funny thing is for some reason all of our security footage was scrambled remotely." He stood back up and started leisurely flipping through pages on his scroll while his partner began showing off a sharp toothy grin forcing Dae to strain in his seat to put what little space he could between the two of them. "All the footage from that night was rendered utterly useless." He finally stopped flipping through his scroll and peered down at Dae with a confident look on his face. "All except for this one frame." He leaned in again holding up his scroll with a fuzzy out of focus picture. It was mostly a jumble of red, orange, and black hues, but clearly in the center was green and white figure paused mid-throw.

"That's good to hear, I uh, really hope you catch that guy." Dae said trying to stand up only to be shoved back into the seat by sharp toothed agent.

"Ah but you haven't even heard the best part." The sharp toothed one chuckled gripping his shoulder.

"O-oh, do you need my brilliant expertise to help you track this guy down or something?" Dae was steadily becoming more and more worried as the situation went on.

"I guess you could say that." Said the dark haired slipping his scroll back into his jacket. "There was one other thing we found in our investigations. We had forensics analyze the scene and found traces of all kinds of Dust-based incendiary residue."

"That means they found bomb bits, course you already knew that." The grinning one said cheerfully.

"In fact we looked into it, and there aren't a lot of names that come up when it comes to explosives like that." Continued the first agent. "In fact you're something of an infamous character when it comes to bombs in Vale."

"Oh c'mon, I'm not that good at making bombs." Dae said laughing nervously as he felt the color begin to drain from his face. "I'm sure there are plenty of other guys who could…"

"Stop mess'n with us twerp!" Interrupted the sharp toothed one. "We've got you dead to rights on this one. You're coming with us." He said eagerly as he removed his own glasses to reveal a pair of yellow slitted eyes.

"That's enough gentlemen." Ozpin finally spoke up.

"Daedalus Verde, by the authority of the Schnee Dust company I'm arresting you for destruction of private property and grand theft Dust." The black haired suit began pulling a pair handcuffs from his coat.

"I said that's enough!" Ozpin shouted startling all of them as he rose from his seat.

"Listen here Professor…"

"No you listen. I cooperated with you because of this school's ties to the Schnee Company, but I will not let this farce continue. You have produced neither viable evidence nor a warrant for this young man's arrest, you have no right to take him into custody and until you do I have no obligation to assist either of you in your investigation. So now kindly, get the hell out of my office!" Ozpin shouted pointing towards the elevator.

"Alright, we'll play your game, but we're having the image sent over to data analysis division. And you can bet once they get done with it, we'll be back." The dark haired one said putting his shades back on.

"Count on it teach." Added his partner as they marched out of the room.

Dae sat there stupefied by the whole exchange for a minute while Ozpin composed himself. Finally once the awkward silence started to become too unbearable Dae piped up. "Thanks Professor, you really saved my bacon there."

"Don't thank me just yet Mister Verde. If they do come back with evidence like they said they would, there's little I can do to stop them." Ozpin explained picking up his mug. "I understand we all make mistakes Daedalus, but it is also our responsibility to set them right." He turned towards the window and seemed to stare out over the grounds. "I wish you the best of luck. You're excused."

Dae made his way out of the office to find Robin leaning against the wall, whistling a jaunty tune. "So what was that all about Dae? And who were those weird guys in suits?"

"Dude, we need to talk. Like right now." Dae said grabbing Robin and pulling him down a random corridor, despite Robin's very vocal protests. Once Daedalus was sure there was no one within earshot he let go of a now very angry Robin. "Yeah sorry about that man, but I gotta tell ya something very important….just promise you won't get mad." Dae proceeded to tell Robin everything, from how he broke into the factory to what had just transpire in Ozpin's office. He was so engrossed in recounting the story he failed to notice the incredible look of distress and mortification on Robin's face.

"Are you out of your cotton picking mind Dae!?" Robin finally cried unable to listen to anymore of Dae's story.

"We don't have time for this man. I need your help to fix this!" Dae shhh-ed clamping a hand over Robin's mouth.

Robin quickly pried Dae sweaty hand from his mouth too preoccupied to even give it much notice. "My help? What do you want me to do about it?"

"I dunno, you're the leader. Think of something!" Dae frantically whispered.

"Well can't you and Dix do something with their computers and make the whole picture disappear?" Robin ventured, further demonstrating Dae's many attempts to explain technology to him were still fruitless.

"No! There's no way to access the Schnee Company servers remotely. I'd have to break into the factory just to get access and in case you forgot, breaking into their factory is what got me into this mess in the first place man!" Dae was on the verge of freaking out now, gripping his messy hair tightly while he wracked his mind for another option.

"What made you think this was a good idea in the first place?" Robin asked further chastising his partner.

"I told you. It was an emergency."

"No, THIS is an emergency!" Robin shouted throwing his hands in the air in exasperation as he turned to walk away and put some distance between him and his frantic partner, only crash into what could only be described as a solid wall of flesh. "Why does this keep happening to me!?"

"Whoa, easy there little guy." Came a gruff but familiar voice. Robin looked up to see Nidhogg towering over him in his uniform. He'd opted not to make any drastic changes, but to wear it as casually as he could, tying the blazer around his waist by the sleeves, rolling up the shirtsleeves over his bulky forearms, and leaving the vest hanging unbuttoned. He reached down and stood Robin back up as easily as if he was picking up a child's doll. "Is something wrong? Cause you two are making like, a lot of noise." He said eyeing the smaller hunters questioningly.

"Nothing." Dae interrupted stepping between the two. "There's nothing wrong. Why would you think there's something's wrong? Roby is something wrong? No, of course not. And since nothing's wrong we're just gonna leave now." Dae fired off in a paranoid rapid fire before grabbing Robin by the wrist once more and dragging him away again. That is until a pair of large rough hands grabbed each of them by a shoulder and pulled them back to Nidhogg who had a somewhat contemplative look on his face.

"Okay, so I'm getting the feeling…something is wrong." Nidhogg said as if uncovering some well hidden secret.

"No, like I said…" Dae began.

"Yes! Yes, something is wrong." Robin finally broke down and admitted. "You see we're kinda in some big trouble we can't rightly talk about. You wouldn't happen to know anyone who could maybe help us out would you?" Robin pleaded.

Nidhogg seemed to ponder the question while keeping a firm grip on both Robin and Dae's shoulders. After a few moments of thought a look of pleased realization played across his face. "Yeah, I know a guy who can help. He hangs out behind the dorms near that fru-fru flower garden. Tell him I sent ya."

"Really?" Robin and Dae exclaimed in unison.

"You bet ya. If there's a guy who knows how to get outta trouble, he's your…uh guy."

"Great! C'mon Robin let's get over there and fast." Dae said already rushing off in the direction of the dorms.

"Thanks for the help Nidhogg." Robin called back chasing after his partner.

"Yeah, hey don't forget about our weapon's homework little guy!" Nidhogg said with a self-satisfied smile.

Behind the dorm….

"Alright this is the place, okay dude, just let me do the talking." Dae said as they rounded the corner towards the garden path behind the dorm.

"Are you sure, after that whole little episode back there with Nidhogg?" Robin asked skeptically.

"That was then, this is now. Now I'm filled with hope. I mean how bad could this…guy…be?" Dae trailed off staring down the way at a group only a few yards away.

"Dae what's…wrong…oh." Robin followed his partner's line of sight and immediately understood his apprehension. There were four people in total, two older students he didn't recognize, but standing in the middle talking very adamantly was Djack with Jackie sitting on a nearby windowsill lazy kicking her feet. "I dunno 'bout this anymore Dae."

"No, no. This could work. Back at Signal there were these rumors buzzing around about how his dad is the head of this crime family, if it's true, maybe he really can help us get rid of that evidence." Dae whispered as they cautiously approached the group.

"What d'you two want?" Asked one of the two older students who'd been leaning against the wall until now. He was tall with long dark violet hair that reach to the middle of his back with a sea captain's hat resting neatly on top and dark crusty skin that almost resembled scales. He wore plain brown vest over a ripped white t-shirt and a pair weather worn jeans with a rusting metal knee guard. He stared down at them with a pair of angry cyan eyes. "You two got an appointment?" he growled showing the sharpest set of teeth either of them had ever seen.

"Um…w-well…you see." Dae stammered.

"Vincent? What have I told you about spooking the customers?" Djack hollered, pausing his meeting with the other senior. "Well, well, well if it isn't the guys from Team RDCP, I'll be with you two in just a sec." Djack grinned while turning back to his other client. "Okay Pyrex, where were we?"

"I prefer Ronald actually." The older student said just over a mumble. He seemed really uneasy. He had messy red hair with blue streaks and very pale skin which was more noticeable thanks to his long red coat.

"Okay then Ronnie, well I managed to get everything on your list." Djack said opening his scroll while Jackie tossed Ronald a medium sized parcel. "One Crazy King Luci brand windproof lighter, three boxes of matches, three fire Dust crystals, two packs of oil treated wicks, and one sparkler." Ronnie just nodded checking through the box's contents before handing Djack a small stack of lien. "Another satisfied customer. Now remember if anyone asks, you got it from good ole' Pumpkin Djack, unless you get caught, then mums the word. We good?"

"Yeah, yeah." Ronald muttered before wandering off back towards the front of the dorm.

Djack continued grinning turning his attention back to Dae and Robin. "Vincent, let'um through." He said with a wave. Vincent made deep growling noise before stepping to the side to let them pass. "That Ronnie huh? Good kid, burn this whole place to the ground someday, but a real good guy. So what can I do for our little leader and his explosive partner?" He asked glibly.

"Well Nidhogg said you could help us…" Robin began only to cut off by a loud laugh from Djack.

"Ha! See Jackie, I told you helping out the big guy would be good for business." He bragged.

"When you're right, you're right boss." Jackie giggled.

"Alright, now wait don't tell me?" Djack seemed to just look them over for a couple of moments. "Okay, you guys are in big trouble, it's your fault." He said pointing to Dae. "And now you hope that uncle Djack can make it all better." He finished with satisfied smirk at the amazement written on Dae and Robin's faces.

"How did you know that?" Robin asked, starting to feel uneasy again.

"Oh, you could say I have a gift for reading people. So what can I help you guys with? I pride myself on being one of the best contraband dealers in this or any other boarding school this side of Mistral, whatever you need I can get it. Drugs, Dust, drug dust, food, cheat notes, test answers, illicit reading materials," He winked and did quick gesture at Dae, "I can get it. But don't just think I only deal in merch, I have ways of getting things done that can't be done." He grinned just a little wider when Robin and Dae seemed to perk up at that last part. "But before we talk business let's talk payment." He watched as the realization dawned on the two that they hadn't yet thought about that part. "Ah, don't worry, I have a very special payment plan for customers just such as yourselves. You see I know there a plenty of bright-eyed young hunters here who aren't gifted with influential mommies and daddies to throw them big fat allowances, so what I do is I let you pay me in one no questions asked favor to be claimed at a time of my choosing. Could be something as easy letting the guy next to you copy off your test, maybe do someone's homework for them, or maybe something a little more challenging, depends on the job you need done." Djack explained before doing a little flourish to signify his spiel was over. "So now that all that's out of the way, what can I do for you two?"

"Well you see, it's kind of a funny story, but we need your help…getting rid of some evidence in the Schnee security data files." Dae rushed the last part before tightly shutting his eyes. If he hadn't done so he would have been able to perfectly see the looks of shock and disbelief on Djack and Jackie's faces before thy burst out laughing.

"HA! That's rich. Can you believe these guys?" Djack was actually doubled over laughing for a moment until he got a good look at Dae and Robin. "Holy shit you're serious. That makes this even funnier!" Djack couldn't contain himself anymore. He howled with laughter to the point Robin was beginning to seethe with anger.

"Hey that's not funny!"

"I know, that's what makes it so fun to laugh at it." Djack hooted earning a fresh fit of giggling from Jackie.

"That's enough Roby." Dae said putting a hand on Robin's shoulder.

"But Dae…"

"C'mon let's go." Dae said turning to leave. "It's obvious he can't actually help us anyway." Djack's laughter halted abruptly forcing Jackie to quickly cover her own mouth to stifle her own laughter.

"What was that?" He asked straightening up and fixing Dae with an icy stare. "I must have misheard you, would you care to repeat that?"

Dae turned around with his best fake unimpressed look. "I said that it was obvious you couldn't really help us anyway." Robin wasn't exactly sure what Daedalus was trying to pull but he was almost sure he could see a vein beginning to throb in Djack's forehead.

"Jackie." Djack called not breaking eye contact with Dae. "I want you to go get that thing I hid under my bed."

Jackie hopped down off the windowsill with a slightly confused look. "Sure thing boss, but what ya going to do with this month's issue of Tattooed Tarts."

Djack slapped his face in annoyance. "The package under my bed. The package."

"Ooooh, that makes a lot more sense." Jackie giggled before quickly scaling the dorm by hopping from windowsill to windowsill until she reached a room on the fourth floor with an open window that she slipped in.

"Thank god she's pretty." Djack sighed fishing a pack of cigarettes from his bag. "Okay listen here cause this is how it's going to go. Firstly I'm not doing this because of your crappy little reverse psychology bit, that was cute, but not very smart." He paused to light his smoke. "I'm doing it because when I help you pull off this little stunt, it will prove to anyone and everyone that I'm the best game in town when it comes to getting things done, understand?"

"Yeah." Dae said already abandoning his indifferent façade for one of eagerness and renewed hope.

"Okay, so if you want this done here's the deal. You're gonna do me two big favors, one from you and one from you." pointed at each of them with his cigarette.

"Deal." Robin interjected hastily.

"Whoa, Robin you sure about this?" Dae questioned.

"Dae, this is probably our only chance to get this fixed. I'm your partner, we're in this together."

Dae seemed genuinely touched by this. "Dude, that's just…"

"But if you ever do something like this again you're on your own." Robin said poking him fiercely in the chest to emphasize his point.

"Fair enough." Dae hurriedly agreed putting his hands up.

"Aw, that's touching, it really is." Djack said looking up to see Jackie leaping down from their window. She landed with a loud metallic thud and a bubbly smile as she handed Djack a small brown paper wrapped parcel. "What took so long?"

"Greenie was in the room, polishing her lance." Jackie explained with a crude gesture. "Had to wait til she left the room."

"Yeesh, roommates. Am I right fellas?" Djack joked pulling out his Scroll. "Now here's the deal, your favor," He pointed to Dae as the started dialing a number on the holographic punch screen, "is to just deliver this package." He paused holding the Scroll up to his ear. "Heeey Uncle Roman, its Djack." He said in a singsong tone. "Yeah…yeah, I got your package. I'll have it to you by tonight. Usual place? ...Oooh look at you coming up in the world, okay, call me when you get it. Oh and give Junior my best." He ended the call and stuffed the Scroll in his bag. He pulled out a pen and paper and quickly scribbled down a few things. "As I was saying all you gotta do is take this package to my guy tonight and have him call me, if he gets it, I'll make all your problems disappear. One catch, he won't be at the place til at least 11."

"What?" Dae exclaimed. "But the last shuttle back here from Vale leaves at 10."

"I know, and normally you'd be screwed. But I guess you two are lucky. Tonight is when the Beacon supply ship comes in. It leaves at about one in the morning. Just make the drop, get to the docks and my guy there will let you hop in and be back in time to sleep through all of tomorrow's classes. Think you two can handle this?" Djack asked snidely.

"Yeah sure, totally, just get ready to do your thing." Dae said rushing over to grab the note and the package.

"Oh I'll get right on that." Djack said while doing a shooing motion. "Now get outta here. And don't forget you still owe me one." He said locking eyes with Robin as they were leaving.

Outside Team RDCP's room….

"Okay here's the plan, we go in and grab anything we might need. Go into town, kill a few hours, then we deliver the package and get back." Dae whispered stopping Robin from grabbing the door handle.

"Yeah, alright. But what do we do about the girls?"

"Nothing. This is waaay beyond crazy. We are not going to tell them. If we're lucky we won't even see them." Dae said opening the door to find a smug looking Eris leaning against the door frame with Piezhi standing behind her looking curious.

"Hey guys, what is it you didn't want to tell us?" Eris asked her two now stunned teammates.

"Dae, you're now the official team jinx." Robin said in straight monotone not taking his eyes off Eris like a deer caught in the headlights.

"Sounds about right." Dae answered in a similar tone.

"Robin, I asked you a question." Eris repeated, her tone getting slightly harsher.

"Oh well….um, nothing?" He answered in a trembling voice. Eris seemed to radiate displeasure as she stepped out of the doorway.

"Get in. Now." She ordered pointing into the run as Peizhi hurriedly move out of their way. Once inside she stood there glaring at them with her arm crossed, while Peizhi merely hopped onto one of the beds contently smiling as she watched everything unfold. "Robin, I'm only going to ask nicely once. Please tell me what's going on." Eris' tone had firm sweetness to it.

"No man, I told you, this situation is messed up enough as it is. C'mon man, solidarity among bros." Dae pleaded with Robin who merely watched in growing terror at the dark look in Eris' eyes as she stared into Dae.

"Listen here scorch mark." Eris quickly started to close the distance between her and Daedalus causing him to back pedal until she had him pinned against the wall staring down at him. "I can already figure out most of what's going on here. You got yourself in some kind of trouble, got Robin involved and now you two have some crazy plan to fix it. Now you're going to fill in the blanks on this or I'm going to show you a side of me that I can guarantee none of you want to see."

Once it was abundantly clear that there was no way out of this, Dae proceeded to recount the story for the second time that day, having to occasionally stop to answer Peizhi's questions about what it was like to fight killer robots. Once he'd finished Eris seemed to have calmed down a bit. "Wow, that's crazy Dae." Peizhi chimed in. "Though I'm not really big on the whole breaking in and stealing thing."

"It was a heat of the moment decision." Dae tried to defend himself.

"I've gotta say matchstick, I'm actually kinda impressed. Now let me see the note Djack gave ya." Dae passed her the note. "Oh I know this place."

"Really? What kind of place is it?" Robin asked starting to feel slightly better about the situation now that everyone had calmed down.

"Yeah, it's the second best underground nightclub I've ever been thrown out of." Eris said cheerfully with wistful and reminiscent sigh. "So who does Djack got you running this to?"

"Some dude named Roman I think." Dae said taking back the note and taking a second to inspect the parcel, mostly by tentatively shaking it close to his ear.

"Roman? You mean Torchwick?" Eris seemed to brighten up. "Oh this will be a cake walk, he's totally cool."

"Oh that's a relief." Dae said relaxing his shoulder and releasing a long sigh.

"Yeah, I was afraid he was gonna be some kinda crook." Robin added trading relieved glances.

"Oh, no, he's a crook." Eris added. "But don't worry, he's just a small time hood who thinks he's some criminal master mind. Nice guy though, fun to drink with."

"Sounds like you two had some chemistry." Peizhi teased.

"Ugh, no." Eris blanched, "He's like 22 and thinks bowler hats and canes are always in fashion. Plus he's not my type." She cast a quick wink in Robin's direction making him tug at collar she gave him that he was too afraid to take off. "Alright guys lets head out, next ride to Vale leaves in like 10 minutes." She headed for the door. "And before you say anything, we're coming with. Whiskers get your stuff."

"Awesome!" Peizhi hopped off the bed and giddily ran to the closet. "This is sooo cool."

Robin and Dae stood there gob smacked for second. Before sighing in resignation and following the girls to air ship docks.

Later on in Vale….

"Why are we here again?" Dae asked aloud. They'd spent a couple hours wandering around the market district in hopes of killing time and alleviating some stress, but this was having the opposite effect on Dae. As the day went on his nerves only seemed to get more worn down as the appointed time drew closer. He was just about at his breaking point.

"Well it was a pretty good idea to get something to eat before we went through with the delivery." Peizhi said between bites of her pasta. Once it had begun to get dark Eris insisted that the team head to a nearby restaurant for a meal as a way to kill time and keep up their energy for the task ahead of them. The quaint little bistro had a warm atmosphere letting the light from the candles on each table paint the room in flickering reds and oranges, while the scent of fresh food mixed with the night air added a calming effect to the room.

"Actually what I meant was why are we," He made a quick gesture between himself and Peizhi, "Here, and they are out there?" He finished pointing an angry and accusatory finger in Robin and Eris' direction out on the patio seated at their own table.

"Well did you want try getting between the two of them?" Peizhi asked rhetorically getting a hmph from Dae. "Plus I think the way Eris acts around Robin is kinda cute…in a creepily aggressive kind of way."

"Yeah. Hey, I'm sorry." Dae said lazily poking at his food with his fork. He was having trouble meeting Peizhi's feline eyes even as they seemed to glow in the low candle light.

"For what?"

"Y'know, this whole thing. I didn't think it would blow up in my face like it did." Dae sighed only receiving a giggle from across the table. "What?"

"It's just, you and things blowing up in your face." Peizhi said trying to hold in here laughter while Dae just gave her a skeptical look. "Sorry, and are you kidding me, venturing into the seedy underbelly of the city on a secret mission in the dead of night? I used to dream about going on adventures like this back at the temple. This is just so cool."

"Well I'm glad you're enjoying yourself." Dae chuckled feeling if only just a tad more at ease. "But now that you mention it, it must have been crazy growing up in a monastery."

"It was a temple…with a monastery attached to it." Peizhi corrected.

"Whatever, I'm just saying it sure beats the hell outta living in three bedroom apartment over a flower shop."

"Yeah, it was pretty nice growing up with Master and everyone from the monastery, but everything has just been so amazing since I came to Beacon." Peizhi's smile was so warm Dae couldn't help but share one of his own. "But hey you never told us you lived over a flower shop." Peizhi said, her amber eyes twinkling with new found curiosity.

"Well you guys never asked." Dae chuckled as he began another engrossing tale about legendary history Verde Flowers and Garden.

Later that night…

"Here we are." Eris proclaimed coming to a stop in front of an imposing metal door set into a wall at the end of a rather seedy back alley nestled between two abandoned store fronts.

"Okay, let's get this over with." Dae said quickly pushing past everyone and quickly knocking on the door, albeit hesitantly. A slat near the top of the door slid open revealing a pair of harsh eyes glaring down at him. "Um, yeah hi, we'd like to…"

"Get lost." The man on the other side of the door cut off. "We don't serve snot nosed kids." The slat closed with a harsh clang of metal on metal leaving Dae standing there with his mouth hanging open.

"What are we supposed do now?" Robin asked already starting to worry until Eris walked up and pushed Dae out of the way.

"Yeash, it's a good thing I decided to tag along." She said before pounding loudly on the door. "Hey Tiny! Open up!"

The slat in the door slide open again, "I told you kids to get…Eris? What the hell do you want?" The man asked gruffly.

"Hey now, is that anyway to talk to a customer?" Eris taunted now leaning against the door while not breaking eye-contact with the doorman.

"No, but since when are you welcome around here?" Tiny shot back angrily.

"Tiny, c'mon, don't be like that. How's the wife and kids?" Eris asked with feigned sweetness.

"Fine, Brook's finally outta therapy and walking again. No thanks to you."

"Hey, I told him to keep his hands to himself." Eris chuckled making Robin and the rest of the gang feel uneasy as Tiny's eyes seemed to fill with more anger. "But whatever, let us in. We got something for Roman."

"Ha! Yeah, sure you do. Why should I believe you?" Tiny taunted.

"Hey, it's no skin of my nose, but you're the one who's gonna have to explain to a Scratch why one of their deliveries wasn't made." Eris said nonchalantly before pushing off the door and walking back towards the mouth of the alley.

"Wait! Fine you can come in, but I'll be watching you." Tiny growled before slamming the slat. A moment later the door slowly opened bathing the dark alley in bright light.

"What would you guys do without me?" Eris chuckled leading the way once more into the club. The inside of the club was an amazing contrast to the dereliction outside. It was a bright and vibrant, decorated lavishly in an art-deco décor. The bar was large with black glass counter with marble inlaid and shelves filled with numerous different shaped and colored bottles. Along the back wall was large stage surround by a band pit where a beautiful woman in a sparkling black dress was singing while the band played a fast paced toe-tapping number. The door slammed behind them drawing their attention to Tiny, who it seemed was named ironically. He was a large balding man with a hulking frame.

"Roman's back at his usual table. And remember you better not try anything funny." Tiny huffed before taking a seat on a stool by the door.

"Don't worry, we won't cause trouble." Dae said hurrying Eris along.

"Promise." Robin added hustling up to them.

"Scout's honor." Peizhi finished following behind while marveling at all the sights and sounds.

Eris led them across the floor and through the crowd of curious patrons, each eyeing them in different ways. As they approached the back of the club they saw a younger man sitting at a table with his feet propped up waving his arms adamantly as he spoke to a small group of men dressed in black suits with red ties and glasses. When he noticed them coming closer he smiled and swung his legs down. "Eris!" He called taking the cigar from his mouth. "Djack didn't say anything about you when he called."

"Yeah, it was kind of a last minute thing." Eris admitted.

"I bet, word on the street is you somehow wound up at Beacon. Tell me what that's all about." Roman leaned forward on his elbows taking a moment to enjoy his cigar.

"It's a long story, maybe I'll fill you in some other time." Eris smirked.

"Oh I can't wait." Roman chuckled to himself.

"I bet. But my friends have something for you." Eris said tapping Dae on the shoulder.

"Oh right. Here you go." He handed Roman the package. The red haired criminal inspected the parcel for a minute.

"Junior, check it." He said passing the package to one of his goons. This one was slightly taller than the rest and a bit more muscular with a neatly trimmed black goatee and what looked to be a heavy steel club slung across his back. He carefully unwrapped the package revealing a trim white metal container. He popped open the lid and inspected the contents for a moment before shutting the lid and handing it back to Roman. "It's all there boss." "Excellent." Roman beamed slipping the box into his coat and pulling out his Scroll from somewhere under table. He quickly dialed a number before setting it on the table and pressing the speaker button. It didn't take long for Djack to pick up.

"Roman, no problems getting the package I trust."

"Everything's in order Djack, it's always a pleasure." Roman grinned.

"I'm glad to hear it, now I hate to say it, but I'm calling in your marker." Djack said, his voice taking on a surprisingly apologetic tone.

"What, you've gotta be kidding me." Roman said shooting to his feet knocking his chair to the ground. A faint murmur ran through Roman's goons which he silenced with an angry glare.

"C'mon Roman, it won't be so bad, you do this one job for me and I clear out all your debts with daddy. Hell you may even get a nice little something out of it." They could almost hear Djack smirking through the Scroll.

"Fine, what's the job?"

"Our green-haired friend here who so kindly delivered your merchandise made a nasty mess over at the Schnee plant. I need you and your boys to break into their servers and appropriate any evidence they have on him. Consider anything else you find a bonus." Djack explained.

"Fine, but after this we're square, you got me?" Roman shot back.

"Of course, that is until you hit the tables again." Djack laughed until Roman ended the call.

"Okay, you heard him boys." Roman sighed as one of his men handed him his cane.

"Good luck out there Roman." Eris wished as Roman prepared to leave.

"I think you're gonna need that luck more than me kiddo."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Eris asked, her tone getting rougher as she eyed the smirking crook.

"I'm sorry kid, but Djack isn't the only one who I'm clearing debts with tonight." As Roman explained Robin could hear a slight commotion coming from the door as a group of angry looking men in suits began pushing through the crowd. "Crazy Ivan was real mad about you getting him arrested and his club closed down, so mad he but nice chunk of change up for grabs for anyone who told him where he could find you. Imagine my surprise when I saw you walk in through that door."

"Uh Eris, I think we have company." Robin interrupted. Eris turned and saw the mass of hired goons making their way across the club.

"Oh Roman, you didn't." Eris didn't even try to hide the disappointment in her voice.

"Sorry Eris, it's just business, if you make it out of this I owe you a drink." Roman said with a wave heading for the door.

"Quick guys split up!" Robin said drawing his guns and pulling Eris behind a nearby pillar.

"What're talking about?" Dae said ducking behind a table with Peizhi.

"Listen, they're only after Eris, we'll lead them away. You two get to the dock and stall Djack's guy there til we can get away." Robin explained as the goons began flipping tables and causing a commotion.

"Aw, you do care." Eris leaned in close to Robin while watching Ivan's men. "Listen there's a side exit over by the stage, that's our ticket out of here."

"Dude this is crazy." Dae tried to convince his partner.

"I know, just stay safe, Eris, let's go!" Robin said as he and Eris made a brake for it.

"There she is, get her!" Screamed one of the goons as they grabbed their guns and opened fire turning throwing the club into a mass of chaos.

"Crap, I can't believe this…are you smiling?" Dae exclaimed turning to Peizhi who was peeking over their table grinning from ear to ear.

"Are kidding, this is awesome, but we gotta help them." Peizhi said reaching to unsheathe Qilin until Dae put his own hand on the hilt.

"No, Robin told us what to do, so we're gonna head for docks like he said. Now pass me that bottle." Dae said with surprising confidence while reaching into one of his many belt pouches for supplies.

"Sure, but I really don't approve of underage drinking Dae." Peizhi chided handing him the unopened bottle.

"Duly noted, but I'll have you know I make a great cocktail." Dae said quickly wrapping a pair of grenades around the bottle. "Now heads up!" He lobbed the make-shift Molotov into the center of Ivan's men. There was little time for them to react before the grenades went off taking a few guards off their feet and starting a small fire. "Now we run!" Dae cried grabbing Peizhi by the arm and making a run for the front door.

Robin and Eris burst out through the side door and out into a new alley at a full sprint, hopping over garbage and splashing through puddles. "Way to take charge back there bunny, you're finally getting this leader thing down." Eris called weaving past a dumpster.

"Don't thank me yet, I really haven't thought this through. Fence!" Robin quickly fired a blast from his guns at the ground launching him high above the rusty chain-link fence. He did a quick flip before landing and turning to see Eris flipping up onto a fire escape before leaping over the fence herself. Not far behind them they could hear the sound of the Ivan's men storming through the alleyways pushing through trash cans and startling rats. "Crap we need to lose them and fast." Robin cursed.

"Follow me!" Eris said heading off down another alley. She led him through a weaving maze of back alleys until they came to a rundown red bricked factory. Eris ran up to the door and kicked it in through the rotted boards. "Inside quick!" Robin didn't have to be told twice. They ran inside, kicking up inches of dust into the air watching as it danced through the moonlight filtering in through the broken windows. "Alright, this should buy us some time." Eris huffed leaning against one of the walls.

"Phew…so who were those guys and what did you do to get them all riled up?" Robin asked hunched over trying to catch his own breath.

"Them? Nothing…I think, but their boss. I may have gotten him arrested and his club shutdown." Eris snuck close to one of the windows and peered out between the boards. "I guess it wasn't such a good idea to tag along with you guys after all."

"Are you kidding me?" Robin asked sliding down against a rusted out support beam. "We would have never gotten this far without you. Now we just have to think of a way out of this new mess." Robin sighed heavily while lazily running his fingers over the dusty floor. "I just hope Dae and Peizhi are okay."

"Shhh, they're coming this way." Eris hushed motioning for Robin to join her at the window. Slowly he crept along the floor on his hands and knees hoping to keep just out of sight. As they peered through the boards and broken glass they could see a group of maybe twenty-five different guards quickly begin to surround the outside of the factory. Several seemed winded and angry glaring up at the dilapidated building. Slowly one of the goons began to step forward, parting the small mass of black clad figures as he made his way to the front. He was a little taller than the rest and dressed far better in an expensive looking black pinstriped suit with a bright red rose in the lapel. He had a thin black mustache and wore a patch covering his scarred right eye.

"We know you're in there, come on out so we can get this over with." He said in an uninterested voice as he pulled on a pair of white gloves.

"Oh yeah, and why should I do that?" Eris shouted back slowly reaching for one of her Crazy Apples.

"Because if you don't we'll have to take up our business with these two." The head goon snapped his fingers and the rest of the herd parted once more to reveal Dae and Peizhi being escorted up through the middle with guard flanking each of them. Dae had a guilty look on his face as he peered up into their window and mouthed a sorry. "I won't repeat myself again, come on out. Now!" The leader called reaching into his coat a drawing long red blade and brandishing it in Dae direction.

"We have do something and fast." Robin drew his guns and posted up against the wall trying to get a bead on the guards holding Dae and Peizhi.

"Hey do you think if we showed back up at school without them they'd just go ahead and make us partners?" Eris mused checking her ammo.

"Eris!"

"Hey I was just joking…kinda." Eris admitted halfheartedly.

"I see we're going have to do this the hard way. You have til three. One." The leader lifted his blade high above his head. "Two."

"Alright we're coming out!" Eris shouted from inside. "Keep your suits on!" She turned Robin with a defeated look. "I hope you have some kind of plan Bunny."

"I'm working on it." Robin said unconvincingly as they made their way out into the open alley. The leader grinned turning his blade in their direction.

"Good, our boss has just been dying to have a nice little talk with you since he made bail. Now if you would be so kind as to drop your weapons and walk over here nice and slowly." He said motioning for them with his blade.

"And how exactly am I supposed to do that?" Eris lifted her arms and dropped her Apples and let them dangle from their chains.

"Oh, I'm sure a few of my associates would be more than happy to help relieve you of your weapons." A few of the men began to chuckle and crack their knuckles as they stalked forward. "In fact you may recognize some of them from your little episode at the Velvet room."

Dae watched as the more of the goons began to close in on Robin and Eris, circling up around them in hopes of watching what was about to happen. Now only a few men remained including his a Peizhi's guard. "Man, what's smell? One of you guys really smells like smoke." Dae's tone was over-acted and robotic but he knew it had done the job when he heard Dix's synthesized voice in his ear. "Voice code acknowledged. Beginning operation. Good luck Daedalus." Dae could only grin as he listened to Fulcrum's motors whirring into activity.

"What was that?" One of the guards asked before two gray grenades dropped from Fulcrum's loading roulette onto the pavement with a metal tink. "What the hell?" The grenades burst into a huge cloud of gray smoke enveloping all of them in seconds.

"Peizhi! Kung-fu now!" Dea yelled dropping down to his knees. Peizhi reacted on instinct with lightning quickness. In one swift move she swung her leg up over her head and struck her guard between the eyes with a powerful kick, sending to him sprawling face first to the ground. Without losing a second she leapt into the air swinging her leg around to where Dae's guard had been standing and caught him in the throat with a lariat kick knocking him off his feet and sending him to the ground gagging and clutching his throat. Once she'd landed Peizhi found where her guard had fell and grabbed Qilin off him before crouching down next to Dae.

"How'd you know that would work?" She asked preparing for the battle ahead.

"Easy, no one ever expects smoke bombs." Dae chuckled.

The explosion immediately drew the attention of the rest of the group as the smoke quickly began rolling towards them. "What the hell was that!?" Screamed the leader turning his back to Eris and Robin to see what was going on. Robin took the chance to throw his arms back and fire a blast rocketing him at a clump of goons taking them down in a pile of flailing limbs and surprised gunfire.

Robin rolled out of the mess of thugs into a kneeling position and yelled as loud as he could through the thick haze of smoke. "Okay team! Shock and awe!"

"Finally a plan I can get behind!" Eris squealed with glee as she grabbed her Apples by the chains and lashed out at the thugs surrounding her, slashing through them like a violent top. "Okay boys, let's get round two started." Eris drew in her weapons just as the leader jumped through the cloud of smoke swinging his blade at her. She blocked with her knives and held her ground. They separated but the leader pressed forward quickly, slamming his blade into hers' with incredible force only to pull back and try again pressing her back and keeping her on the defensive.

"You're not getting away from us, I don't care if I have to take you back to the boss in pieces, but you're coming with us!" He yelled between strikes as sparks sprang from the blades with each blow.

"Eris!" Robin cried preparing to blast himself between the two of them when a pair of the thugs burst through the smoke with guns drawn. Robin had to flip backwards to avoid their fire. As he landed he quickly fired off a pair of shots disarming the two before blasting towards them, corkscrewing through the air and bringing down an ax kick on one of the goons, causing him to buckle and topple to the ground like a bag of rocks. As he was landing the other thug jumped back, drawing a knife and cleaved down at him. Robin brought up Hob blocking the blade and fired off a shot into the guard's chest sending careening backwards.

"Dude look out!" Dea's voice pierced through the chaos followed by the sound of an explosion and a cool blast of air. To his right Robin could see another guard with a gun trained on him now mostly encased in ice as Dae ran up to him rolling a few of his grenades into the smoke followed by the sounds of explosions and surprised screams. "This is getting waaay too crazy for my tastes man."

"Well get used to it. Where's Peizhi?" Robin asked firing a few shots at guards as they popped in and out of the smoke.

"Lost track of her, she went all kung-fu ninja on me and disappeared." Dae shouted ducking under few haphazard shot. Suddenly a guard flew over them bouncing off the ground and rolling out of sight as Peizhi slid up next to them.

"Hey guys, this is great. We're totally kicking all their asses." Peizhi huffed excitedly with a huge grin on her face.

"Great, glad to hear it." Robin shouted shooting up to fire on a pair of goons charging in behind them. "Listen, we'll handle these guys, go help Eris!"

"You got it!" She said giving a quick thumbs up before leaping back into the fray.

"Dude, why is it you always volunteer us to fight the hoard of monsters and nameless goons?" Dae asked lobbing a few more grenades at another wave of guards causing them to leap for cover.

"Less talking more fighting Dae!"

Eris was getting agitated. The one-eyed thug was a far better fighter than she had anticipated. His style was simple, keep in close with hard one armed slamming strikes to keep her on the defensive and stop her from getting into her rhythm or range. She tried dodging as he came in with a fast horizontal swing pulling up her guns to fire off a shot, but he brought up his leg and connected with a hard swift kick to her gut, knocking the wind from her. "Do you see now, there's no point in keeping up this little game." He taunted stalking closer to her when Peizhi leapt through the smoke swinging Qilin down at him.

"Piezhi Bagheera to the rescue." She declared as he jumped back.

"Get lost, this is one's mine Whiskers." Eris said slowly getting back to her feet.

"Sorry, but Robin gave me an order to help you with the evil eye-patch guy." Peizhi explained albeit glibly.

"Oh really now, so he really is getting the hang of this leader thing huh?" Eris perked up rolling her shoulders as she moved to join her partner.

"I know, I'm so proud of him." Peizhi smiled as Eris slipped into a fighting stance beside her.

"That's it, I'm sick of you kids. Playtime is officially over." Hollered the leader as he launched forward with his blade held high. Eris and Piezhi each leapt to the side dodging the blow. Bouncing back Peizhi leapt in close switching between quick slashes and thrust of Qilin and tight close punches and kicks. Each blow he was able to dodge, block, or parry until Eris slipped in and sent a hard left-hook into his blindside sending him staggering back. Capitalizing on the opportunity Peizhi charged in and swung upward at him, but at the last second he managed to slam his blade down to block, pressing his weight into it as if he was trying to crush Peizhi with the force of the blow. Eris threw one of her Apples between them, capturing his wrist with the chain as she circled around behind him. The leader swung his fist around trying to knock her back, only to have his other wrist quickly cinched up in the other chain and have his arms wrenched backwards as Eris planted her boot hard between his shoulder blades.

"You're right, playtime is over. Whiskers now!" Peizhi cocked back her leg and then let loose with a flurry of kicks, the force of which was so strong Eris could feel he leg going numb from the tremors of force echoing through the goon's body. Peizhi was relentless in her attack, striking his chest, shoulders, and legs one after the other. Finally Peizhi leapt up and nailed him in the head with a spinning back kick so hard that it knocked the eye-patch from his face as he was sent spinning to the ground. "Wow…that was something." Eris mused glancing at the leader's now motionless body.

"Yeah, kinda got a little carried away there." Peizhi chuckled scratching the back of her head. "Hey guys, how're you doing?" She called back to Robin and Dae.

"Just wrapping up!" Dae called back tossing one last grenade over his shoulder, ignoring the explosion and the guard getting blasted back into a wall. "Annnnd we're good. I'm just gonna say it, let's never do something like this again." He sighed as they wandered over to the girls.

"Heh, what? Was this too much for you matchstick?" Eris taunted ruffling Dae's already messy hair.

"Yes, yes it was. I am done. I just want to get back and pass out. For like a week."

"Um guys…what time is it?" Robin asked making the rest of the team's eyes go wide.

"Crap! We have like 20 minutes to get to the docks!" Dae almost screamed checking his wrist display.

"Quick follow me. I know a shortcut." Eris said already in the process of sprinting off. It took all of them running at full speed, but they managed to make it all the way to the docks as the ship was preparing its final loading procedures. Djack's contact spent a few minutes yelling at them but by this point the team was in a daze as they filed into the cargo hold and all but collapsed onto the boxes and containers. The ride was short but comfortable as they made it back to Beacon.

In the headmaster's office….

It had been a surprisingly quiet night. Little to do in the way of paperwork or managing problem of the staff, but Professor Ozpin found himself having trouble winding himself down for sleep. He decided he'd take some time and enjoy the view from his office, perhaps let the serenity of the scenery ease his restless mind. It was then that ne noticed a few small figures slowly making their way across the main courtyard to the dorms. He smiled to himself as they came closer and he recognized Team RDCP staggering back to their rooms.

"Good show mister Verde, it seems you have some very fine friends indeed." He chuckled taking a sip from his mug as he pressed a button on his intercom. "Glynda, I'd like to ask that you excuse Team RDCP from their morning classes tomorrow. I think they deserve a bit of a rest."

Later the next day at an undisclosed location…..

The room was dark, save for the harsh orange glow of the wall mounted monitor. On the screen a black silhouetted figure loomed. "Sir Khan, what have you to report?"

"Sir, we've just received word that the Schnee Company was broken into late last night. Their serve room was compromised. They are claiming we orchestrated and carried out the attack, as well as the unresolved break in earlier this month." Khan explained while standing at full attention in front of the monitor.

"Hmm, this could play to our advantage." The figure on the monitor chuckled lowly.

"Excuse me sir?"

"Think about it, if the Schnees are busy fortifying their security details on their Dust plants, they won't be focusing on extending their forces to their shipping routes. A great opportunity has just presented itself to us Sir Khan."

"Indeed sir. I will begin preparations immediately." Khan said saluting his superior.

"Very good. I hope to hear good news when next you report." The screen went dark. Khan quickly marched out of the room, his long white coat fluttering behind him as he stepped out into the bustling compound. Just outside he found his assistant directing the troops.

"Sir, what are your orders?" He asked, his Scroll already out and prepared to take notes.

"We're moving out in an hour. I want this location swept clean by then and the men to rendezvous at point Beta." He order quickly sending off his assistant to see that his orders were carried out. "If the Schnees wish to make an enemy of the White Fang, then they shall have their wish."
