It was Monday afternoon Fred was sitting on the couch in the common room. Remus and Sirius sat on the floor playing chess. It was quiet there weren't many people in the common room now. The sun was setting and it gave the room a feint orange glow from the window. The fire was burning and Fred was deep in thought.

Maybe she'd forgotten about it? Why was he thinking about what happened so much? He was caught up in the moment of things. He only reacted logically as a man would react to an attractive bird. His heart began racing as he thought about the moment they had the other day… But she wasn't just another attractive bird was she? She was Hermione she wasn't attractive. She was his brother's girl.

Not anymore though.

She still loved him though. She always would love his brother. So Fred had to stop feeling whatever this was right now. Was he even feeling anything? It was just physical attraction that wasn't wrong was it? Since when did he dwell this much on emotions? He was a Weasley twin. He shouldn't even care.

He was sitting on the couch his feet were up on part of the table Remus and Sirius weren't playing on. His hands were behind his head as he continued on thinking.

"What're thinking so intensely about mate?" Remus asked looking down at the chess board, but obviously talking to Fred.

Sirius looked up grinning and said, "Oh, I can tell you what he's thinkin' bout mooney…. Or maybe I should say who."

Before Fred could come back with a smooth reply another voice spoke.

"I bet I can take a guess on who's on his mind." The voice was recognizable, distinctly Hermione, but something was off about it. It was lower, more sexy. All three boys heads shot to the girls staircase and she walked forward.

She was in her Hogwarts uniform, but with some… modifications.

The skirt was so shirt you could almost see her knickers. She only wore a very short version of the grey vest, it was so tiny it exposed her entire stomach. She had shortened opened robes and high healed shoes underneath her knee high socks. Those socks probably covered more than any other clothing article she was wearing.

Fred's face flushed and he momentarily forgot how to breath. He barely even registered that she was walking closer. She walked past sirius and ruffled his long shaggy hair and sent a wink at Sirius who's eyes were practically bulging out of his head.

Fred felt something bubble up in the pit of his stomach. he nearly growled and he didn't even realize why he hated this act so much.

Whatever emotion he felt faded when she walked up to him so slowly. Her big eyes were darkened over. She wore bright red lipstick and her hair fell in tamed curls around her face.

She stood in front of his and one of her legs went over his. She was standing close as she could to the couch. His legs between hers. She bent down so her face was inches from his.

He couldn't control his actions and his eyes were wide and he was struggling to breath.

Her lips parted slightly and he realized how dry his were. She smirked a little as she said, "Are you okay Fred? You seem nervous?"

Fred swallowed the lump in his throat. What was he doing? He was letting her win. This was the game. This was her retaliation, but in the middle of the common room? She caught him so off guard.. how was he supposed to pull himself together? He had to say something. Anything. Any coherent words will work.

"Fine." He said as his voice squeaked and she grinned. He cleared his throat and this time when he spoke his voice was rough and husky, "I'm fine, Granger."

"Pity, If you weren't I'd have been more than happy to..." She knelt on the couch on her knees she was now straddling him on the couch before she continued, "Help you out."

"Sweet heart there's only one thing you can do to help me right now." He told her huskily then lowered his voice to a whisper, "And I don't think you can do that in the middle of the common room."

He thought this would stump her. At least make her gasp a little like she had the other day. But she must have been prepared for his reactions. She must have known. She only put her hand on his chest gently and smirked again. She battered her eyelashes and leaned in so her lips brushed his ears again, "Not so tough now are you, Weasley" She said as she nibbled on his ear.

"Bloody Hell." He said in almost a moan. What was she doing?

Winning. That's what. A voice rang inside his mind

"Granger, Better stop before you start something you won't be able to finnish." He told her through gritted teeth.

She lowed herself so now she was sitting on him pressing herself against him, " What makes you think I'm not able."

She spoke so low and breathlessly, Fred was fighting to keep himself under control, which in the moment was harder than it's ever been.

"Awe, hun, I know you won't be able to handle me." Fred told her with a low husky chuckle. He stared into her dark eyes. they were set with determination. She knew she was winning.

She let her hands slide down his chest and onto his waist then they stopped Fred bit his tongue to keep his growl at bay.

"Oh Fred, you'd be surprised how well I am at Handling... Things."

That was the moment he lost it completely. He smirked at her then put his arms around her middle bringing her roughly against him. he heard her tiny mistake. She gasped in shock.

Fred moved his head to her ear so he was almost touching her, but not quite, "Mione I know what you can handle. And under different circumstances I assure you I'd be the one driving you crazy, but I think we'd give ol' padfoot a heart attack here."

His lips grazed over her ear then her jawline and he was so close to her mouth If either one even shifted in the slightest their lips would be touching.

They at like that for a moment that seemed to last forever ever. Her eyes darkened still, but the fierceness was gone she was serious. She was feeling everything he was. She wanted him the same as her, but as quickly as the moment came it left. Determination made its way back to her eyes.

"Only in our dreams, Fred." She said her breath made his skin prickle. She was so close. Our? Did she say our? As in we? Her and him? Our?

"I'll meet you in our dreams then." He said breathlessly. She batted her eyes then stood up walking to the girl's stair case. Ever male in that room watched her go, but none the way Fred was looking at her.

To most in that moment she was the object of lust, but not him.

He had felt lust before and while he knew he was lusting over her that wasn't all. There was something more to it. Making it so much more powerful.

Finally after she was long gone Fred looked back to Remus and Sirius.

Sirius was the first to speak, "Bloody Hell. The things I'd do to that witch."

Fred stood up awkwardly before telling his friends, "I think I'm going to take a shower."

Sirius erupted in laughter and as Fred was walking out he called, "Make it a cold one Mate!"

Fred flipped him the middle finger before leaving the room and to the showers, where he indeed took a cold, very cold shower.

Hermione Ran to her dormitory once she was out of site from the common room.

She fell onto her four poster bed and let out a loud grown as she buried her head in her pillow.

Lily sat on her bed grinning, "Soooo, How'd it go?"

Hermione looked up glaring, "THAT WAS THE LOWEST MOST DEGRADING THING I"D EVER DONE!" She screamed, Lily chuckled.

"I CAN"T BELIEVE I STOOPED THAT LOW JUST TO... WHAT HAS GOTTEN INTO ME?" She cursed at herself.

"Did it work though?" Lily inquired.

Hermione looked at her exasperatedly at first.

"Well? did it?" Lily urged unfazed by her disbelieving gaze.

Hermione let a small smile creep onto her face, "You should have seen his face it was priceless." Hermione said before giggling.

"I bet it was. I bet every Male in the room was gaping at you." Lily said laughing.

"But it was wrong! It was awful and humiliating." Hermione stated a little less enthusiastically.

"But you secretly loved it." Lily added.

"No I did not. I wouldn't possibly ever like something so... so... degrading and..."

Lily cut her off waving her hand at her, "Merlin, you're so bloody stubborn."

Hermione shrugged then magically fixed her attire to her normal clothing. Once she felt comfortable again she pulled her book out and began reading praying to Merlin this pulled her far ahead in the game. Then silently dreading what his retaliation would be.\

The next morning Hermione woke up with the piercing fear that he'd strike today. He was never one to wait long. His patience always so short. She had to be prepared for anything. She couldn't show him weakness again. never again.

She got ready and found Lily must have already went down to breakfast. She walked down the stairs and managed to make it all the way to the great hall without any events.

She sat next to lily who was sitting across from James.

"morning Herms." Lily said with a smile.

"Morning Lily." hermione replied scooping some eggs onto her plate.

"So Hermione..." James started with a grin, "I heard you pounced on Fred yesterday."

"James!" Lily said scolding him. Hermione instantly blushed.

"What?! I was just congradulating you. I'm on your side you know. We all know you'll win. He was barely able to handle yesterday." James said with a chuckle.

"Why are you on my side? I thought Fred was your 'newest addition'. Wouldn't you want him to win?" Hermione said skeptically.

JAmes shrugged, "Sure, but we know you will win, and we like being on the winning team."

"Why are you assuming I'll win?" She said not buying his words.

"Oh, because he' in love with you." He said like it was the most casual thing in the world. Apparantly her expression matched all of her thoughts racing through her mind.

"Sorry, did you not know?" He asked them arching an eyebrow.

Hermione's face paled and her heart raced, "he told you that?"

"Not exactly." She felt her heart drop to the floor as hope shattered. How did she go from feeling so light to so heavy and low? What was this, but then he continued, "But it is extremely obvious is it not? I bet he loved you for, well a very long time by the looks of it."

Hermione shook her head not believe it. And Lily sat there acting smug like she knew this all along.

Could Fred actually love her? Was James lying? Why would he lie? They were friends. and he wouldn't do something that would upset Lily. Lying to her about this would surely upset Lily. So what? Why was she even worrying about this? What if he did love her? What then?

Could anything even happen between then? He'd never go for her she was his Little brothers exgirlfriend. He should think of her as a sister, he probably does. Just like she should think of him as a brother.

But she didn't not at all. Not in the slightest brotherly way. To make it worse, she also didn't want him to think of her as a sister. She wanted him to want her like she wanted him. Because even though she'd never admitt it to anyone, she did want him. all of him, everything about him, but most of all she wanted him to be hers, but like she told him yesterday only in her dreams. She had said our, but she knew he didn't dream of her, he'd never dream of her like she did of him.
