A/N: I'M BAAAACCCCCKKKK! I didn't get any suggestions, which surprised me. I thought people would be more interested in that, but oh well. I wasn't entirely sure what to write for this chapter, so I did the first thing that popped into my head. Sorry that it's a little late, but I had a taekwondo belt test and a ceremony is tomorrow morning. Those of you who do Taekwondo will understand ( though every place does things a little differently). Anyway, enough of my rambling.

Will stared at the girl for a few seconds. Halt? Why was she asking for Halt? What did he have to do with her? After a few seconds of silence, Will decided to collect more information.
"Why are you looking for him?" He responded as casually as he could. She gave him an I-know-what-you're-trying-to-do look. He frowned. This girl was very observant.
"It's a very complicated story. The point is, Halt killed someone my sister cared about and now she wants to kill him."
Will blinked, "Who did he kill?"
"Raven's boyfriend."

Before now, Halt never understood the expression "heart skipped a beat". But now, looking at his dead brother standing in a village in Araluen, he felt a worrying shudder in his chest.
"Ferris," He said blankly, "What the devil are you doing here?!"
Ferris blinked, "I-I'm not entirely sure to be honest. I mean one moment I was watching that trial by combat, and the next I was in this weird camp where they drugged you into slavery."
"Where they what?"
"Exactly. Strange, huh?"
Halt took a long look at his brother, and realized that he wasn't the same weak person Halt had known. This Ferris was more confident, if not stronger in character, since they had last met.
"By the way," Ferris asked, "How long was I in that camp for? How long has it been since the trial?"
Halt smirked inwardly as he said, "18 years." Perhaps he was going to enjoy messing with his brother.
Ferris gaped. "S-seriously?"
"You were supposed to be dead, you know."
"I was?"
"You were shot in the back by one of the Genovesans. You remember them, right?"
Ferris nodded, his eyes wide. "What now?" He asked.
"Now, I bring you to the cabin. There are a few people you should probably meet."

Will, Maddie, and River were sitting in the cabin, discussing where River would live for the next few days, when it happened. There was a knock at the door.
"I'll get it!" Maddie sprang up, moving quickly toward the cabin entrance. Maybe someone's bringing news on Raven's movements, she thought excitedly. This was the most interesting case she had ever taken part in. The shock came, however, when she opened the door and was faced with two people, looked distinctly alike.
"Maddie," Halt said, "I would like you to meet Ferris, my brother."
A/N: I know, it been forever hasn't it? What do you think? Let me know in the little, hungry box below, he's quite friendly! =) (Don't worry Divine Protector of Skyrim, this is not a story that I will abandon.)
