Beastboy and Raven made their way to the elevator that would bring them down to the ground level of Titan's Tower. Beastboy pushed the call button and in a few moments the elevator doors opened. Beastboy comically motioned for Raven to enter first in a gag attempt to look like a gentleman.

"Ladies first." Beastboy insisted, while waggling his eyebrows in a comical manor. Raven rolled her eyes and entered the elevator as instructed with a sigh. Beastboy entered the elevator after her and pushed the button that would bring them to the ground floor.

Raven could feel confidence radiating off of Beastboy, as well as his anticipation and excitement. She looked up and could see the broad smile on his face was validation of the emotions she currently felt through their bond. His positive emotions made her feel a bit lightheaded, as if she had a slight high off his happiness. The feeling wasn't detrimental at all like his more negative emotions were, but the feeling of multiple combined positive emotions coming from him was a feeling she could definitely get used to. She didn't even realize she was smiling until Beastboy brought it to her attention.

"Whats got you so chipper Rae?" Beastboy asked which made Raven blush slightly and turn her head away from him.

"What do you mean?" Raven asked, wondering if he had been staring at her. The thought of him staring at her made her blush deepen, but luckily the elevator continued it's downward decent without any hindrance from her powers.

"You were humming, and when I looked down at you, you were smiling. I was just wondering what's got you in such a good mood." Beastboy explained, and gave her a genuine look of curiosity. He didn't want to ruin her mood by asking, but he was curious as to what was making her so happy. He wanted to know for future reference, since seeing a visibly happy Raven was a rare occurrence that he wanted to see more of in the future.

"Well, you were feeling a mixture of positive emotions a few moments ago. I guess I wasn't able to completely process your emotions, so I started to outwardly express them." Raven answered, and Beastboy visibly beamed.

"So all I have to do to get you to smile now is to be super happy myself?" Beastboy asked, and his excitement grew tenfold at figuring out a way to get the normally reserved empath to feel some semblance of emotion.

Raven could feel his excitement grow, and it made her feel warm inside to know that he valued her happiness so much. The problem was that she was only reflecting his own feelings when he felt too much for her to process at one time. Raven decided she should let Beastboy know, rather than let him think he was seeing her genuine emotions.

"Yes it will make me smile, but it's just a reflection of your own emotions. You know that my emotions are in Nevermore so I can't outwardly express them. When your emotions are too heavy I'm not able to process them as quickly, so I end up showing them. It's not actually me feeling them, so they're not genuine. It's like looking into a mirror. Whatever face you make will get reflected back to you, but it's you making the face not the mirror… I thought I should let you know before you got your hopes up." Raven answered truthfully, and sighed lightly when she felt Beastboy feel slightly deflated at hearing her answer.

"It's alright, I'll figure out how to get you to smile for real one day." Beastboy stated with a smirk, and gave Raven no time to reply since the elevator doors opened and he quickly made his way out of the elevator to the main doors leading to the Titans Island.

Raven stood in place after hearing Beastboy's declaration, until the elevator doors started closing. Raven snapped out of her stupor and held the doors open with her powers and followed after the changeling. She decided to float to the main doors since she felt a little weak in the knees after hearing Beastboy's bold statement.

"I can't believe he almost made me swoon. When did Beastboy start acting so attractive?" Raven asked herself, wondering whether his new transformation was to blame or if she just didn't notice him until their recent coupling. Raven pushed these thoughts aside when she heard a light bulb shatter above her head and quickly exited the tower to follow Beastboy down to the beach.

"Alright that's good Star; the scanner should have a broad field of view from there." Cyborg said as Starfire set down the last of many scanners that would analyze Beastboy when he changed forms. They were positioned all around the beach and near the water so Beastboy could also change into some of his aquatic forms, and aimed in the air so they could scan him while he was in flight.

Cyborg started typing into the portable data console positioned out of range of the scanners. He made sure the wireless connections had no problems, and ran a quick diagnostic of the systems before deeming the outdoor lab operational. He was glad he decided to upgrade his scanning technology from the old hardware he had used previously to scan Beastboy when the team was infected with nanobots, courtesy of Slade. With this new technology he could perform the same tests and more without all of the ridiculous helmets and tubes, though removing nanobots would require a thorough blood transfusion. For its current purpose however it was a much better alternative than having to attach the old bulky equipment to each of Beastboy's animal forms.

"Alright, systems are online; all we need now is Beastboy." Cyborg stated, and looked behind him to see Beastboy and Raven walking down the beach to his position. Cyborg held in a chuckle at the thought of seeing the two walking down the beach in such close proximity. All they needed to do to complete the image in his head was to hold hands.

"Yo Cy, I asked if were good to go?" Beastboy asked, and snapped Cyborg out of his daydream. He typed a few commands to make it seem like he was finishing up before nodding in agreement.

"Yep, we're good to go. Just go in the middle of the scanning field and do your thing. The scanners will analyze each of your forms and compare the data to the old data we have on some of your animal forms. Be sure to pick stuff you remember us running tests on so we have comparable data. Oh and before I forget…" Cyborg explained, and afterwards handed Beastboy and Raven two new Titan communicators.

"Thanks Cy I totally forgot to ask for a new communicator!" Beastboy chuckled and Raven simply grabbed her new communicator and nodded her head in approval. Beastboy pocketed the communicator and started to head out in the direction of the scanning field.

"Good luck friend Beastboy!" Starfire exclaimed as Beastboy started walking out to the testing grounds. Robin and Cyborg had their eyes glued to the console while Raven was focused entirely on Beastboy.

As Beastboy started walking out to the testing field on the beach, he could feel his mark start to heat up slightly, and knew Raven was watching him. He felt a swell of pride at being able to show off the new power she had given him. His swell of pride made the mark glow brighter in response, due to thoughts of pleasing his master. Raven could feel his pride and wondered what Beastboy was thinking.

"Okay, stuff they've tested before let's see… I know they've tested my gorilla and tiger forms, but maybe I should start out small. Maybe I should go with a capuchin monkey or a rat for starters…" Beastboy was interrupted from his thoughts when a guttural voice he recognized from his nightmares decided to voice its own opinion.

"Do you really think those feeble forms will impress her?" The Beast asked, and felt Beastboy's fear when the voice boomed in his head loudly. Beastboy instantly recognized the voice and decided to greet the monster in his head.

"It's been awhile since I heard your voice in my head. I thought the antidote Cyborg gave me got rid of you." Beastboy asked in a bitter tone. The antidote Cyborg gave Beastboy only ridded him of the Beast's consciousness, but he could often feel the Beast inside of him; ready to leap from its bondage inside his head at the slightest sign of weakness.

"The antidote merely imprisoned my consciousness in the darkest recesses of your mind. Raven's gift has reawakened me, and now that she is alpha I plan to please her any way I can." The Beast proclaimed which made Beastboy angry that his inner Beast planned on pursuing Raven.

"I won't let you lay a claw on Raven!" Beastboy shouted in his head, which made the Beast chuckle at the semantics behind Beastboy's thought process.

"My form would not be suitable for mating with our master. I don't wish to harm our Raven, but I could take over your body and ravish her in ways only I could. I can feel her appreciation for your form as we speak, and I know you don't have what it takes to please her." The Beast taunted, and as soon as the Beast was finished speaking it started to forcefully try and take control of Beastboy's body.

Beastboy dropped to his knees and gripped his head as pain started erupting from his head as the Beast attempted to take over Beastboy's body. Panic flooded Beastboy's mind as he tried to figure out a way to remain in control, which didn't go unnoticed by Raven.

Raven saw Beastboy suddenly drop to his knees and clutch his head as if he was in major pain. The wave of panic that followed almost brought Raven to her knees, but luckily she was able to handle the negative emotion. Raven looked at Cyborg who was trying to interpret the new data streaming in from Beastboy's internal struggle and gasped when he recognized the data that flowed in.

"Cyborg, do you know what's wrong with Beastboy?" Raven asked quickly when she heard him gasp.

"Yeah, the data matches up almost exactly with the data we have on the Beast, except its showing the same data now as when he was fully transformed before… and he hasn't even started changing yet." Cyborg solemnly explained, and Robin spoke up to confirm Cyborg's suspicions.

"Are you saying that right now Beastboy is showing the same amount of power he had fully transformed as the Beast before?" Robin asked, and Cyborg nodded.

"I'd hate to say it, but the beast we're about to see makes the old Beast look like a kitten in comparison." Cyborg explained as he double checked the data that was flowing in and Starfire gasped.

"We were not able to defeat the Beast in battle before, if what you are saying is to be true…" Starfire's voice trailed off as she saw a spike in the data, and heard Beastboy scream in pain as he fell to his side on the beach.

"I'll try to calm him down, since I'm the only one the Beast responded to in the past." Raven offered, but was quickly admonished by Robin.

"If what the data and Cyborg says is true, he's capable of taking us all out at any given time. We need to figure out a way to sedate him and fast." Robin countered, but Raven was quick to point out a key bit of information he seemed to forget.

"Beastboy is my mate, and since he bears my mark I am his superior! If I can't stop him no one can!" Raven yelled and rushed from the data console and her friends to try to help stop Beastboy's transformation.

"Raven wait!" Robin yelled as he started to follow, but was stopped when Cyborg laid a large metallic hand on his leaders shoulder.

"She's right Rob; we don't really know all the details behind their new relationship. The last time we trusted her with B, she did the right thing. I think we need to let her handle this." Cyborg insisted, and Robin slammed his fist into the data console in frustration at his inability to do anything in such a dangerous situation.

Raven quickly floated to the downed changeling who was currently rolling on the sandy ground in agony. His claws were clenched tightly to his head and she could hear him growl with every breath he took. She bent down and put a hand on his shoulder, and Beastboy's head shot up in response.

"R-Raven the B-B-Beast… agh!" Beastboy tried to warn her but another bout of sharp pain in his head interrupted his speech.

"I know, the data console picked up the data we have on the Beast. I think you should let the change happen. I can calm him down when he shows himself." Raven offered, but Beastboy quickly grabbed her shoulders and tightly squeezed them as he tried to warn her again of the Beast's intentions.

"No! The Beast… he's after you Raven. He wants to… AHH!" Beastboy was unable to finish his warning as he started his transformation into the Beast.

Raven backed away to give Beastboy space during his transformation, but she did not have any intention to leave his side. She could hear his bones crack as they broke and grew to accommodate the new form he was trying his hardest to suppress. His arms grew and sprouted crimson fur, along with the rest of his body. His head elongated into the feral form that Raven remembered before. The difference this time was the Beast's crimson fur, and the long black mane of hair that flowed down the Beasts back. As the Beasts transformation neared completion Raven noticed the Beast's form was much larger than before, with more prominent musculature. She watched as the Beast firmly planted his large black claws into the ground as he lifted his head and roared when the transformation completed, and during his roar the Beast started to emit a red demonic aura similar to Rage's.

Raven spotted her mark on the Beast's neck, and noticed it was glowing brightly. She realized that she would have to attempt to go up to the Beast and deactivate the mark by touching it like she had when Beastboy attacked Starfire. As Raven started to slowly walk towards the Beast until she suddenly heard a guttural voice she had never heard before inside her head.

"I am glad I am able to speak to you in my true form. I want to thank you for freeing me from my prison in Garfield's mind." The Beast projected his thoughts directly to Raven who stopped walking to answer the Beast.

"If your way of thanking me for setting you free is forcibly taking control of Garfield's body and causing him pain…" Raven answered angrily but was interrupted by the Beast.

"Garfield brought that pain upon himself by resisting my will. His pain is not my thanks to you. I wish to show my appreciation by showing you great pleasure…" The Beast started to slowly stalk towards Raven. When the Beast felt he was close enough to her he slowly started to circle her as if she was a wounded animal. Raven had a hard time keeping her eyes on the Beast as he stalked around her. The Beast continued to speak as he slowly walked circles around his prey.

"I have longed to feel your skin under my claws since the day Garfield started to notice you as a potential mate. When I was released for the first time it was my greatest pleasure to protect you from that imposter who took my form. Now it will be my greatest pleasure to rut you until you are unable to speak." Raven could see the Beast start to salivate as he spoke what he planned to do to her. His eyes greedily appraised her form and Raven noticed the whites of the Beasts eyes were now black. The Beasts black pupils were like slits similar to a cat's and were surrounded by irises that glowed red with power.

The other Titans watched the Beast start to circle Raven, unaware the two were having a telepathic conversation. Raven didn't seem to look as confidant as she was before as the Beast started to stalk her.

"Raven's being stalked by that thing, it's just waiting for the right time to strike. We have to stop it before it attacks her!" Robin yelled, and as Cyborg and Starfire watched the Beast start to salivate as it stalked Raven, they quickly agreed with their leader. The Titans rushed toward the two, not wanting to take the chance that the Beast now viewed Raven as a meal rather than his master.

Raven saw her friends start to rush toward her position with their weapons drawn and quickly warned them to stop their advance.

"Stop! He only wants me! If you interfere now, he will kill all of you!" Raven yelled, which alerted the Beast to the fast approaching Titans. They did not stop despite Raven's warning, and the Beast stopped circling her and adopted a defensive posture in front of Raven. The Beast growled and bared his teeth at the Titans who were still running (and flying) to try and save Raven from the Beast.

Raven knew that if she did nothing the Beast would kill her friends. Raven quickly decided to try and touch the mark before her friends got to close to the Beast. She quickly floated over the Beast and touched the glowing mark while she was above the Beast. Unfortunately the mark did not dim like before, and the Beast grabbed her in one of his gigantic claws and held her close to his muzzle as he projected his thoughts to her.

"My power dwarfs yours at the moment and my desire to please you does not challenge your position as alpha in any way. I won't challenge you since you freed me from my prison, but I will kill these fools who think to challenge me!" The Beast turned his head and roared as the other Titans were almost upon him and Raven. Raven from within the Beast's grasp decided to warn the Titans one last time to retreat.

"Please, the Beast won't harm anyone if you retreat! I don't want to see you all killed over a misunderstanding!" Raven pleaded, and the Titans stopped and adopted defensive stances while they tried to talk with Raven.

"Why are you in his claws if he doesn't want to harm you Raven!?" Robin asked angrily with his bo-staff aimed at the Beast in case he decided to charge.

"He's trying to protect me from you! If you all leave I can bring Beastboy back, but you have to trust me." Raven answered, not wanting to voice the Beast's intentions and knowing she was half right regardless. She watched as Robin contemplated Raven's words and noticed the Beast start to set her down. She quickly tried to distract the Beast so he wouldn't attack her friends.

"If I go with you, will you leave them be?" Raven asked, and the Beast instantly stopped growling and turned to face her. She could see the lust in the Beasts gaze and instead of talking through their bond, the Beast simply nodded his head in approval.

The other Titans saw Raven be set down by the Beast, and as soon as she was on her own two feet the Beast seemed to stare at her for a moment before nodding his head. Raven then floated up onto the Beasts back and grabbed his mane to keep her steady as she mounted him. The Titans were shocked that Raven seemed to have enough control over the situation to warrant riding the Beast off into the sunset, or rather towards Titans tower. Raven's last words weren't forgotten by the three titans, and they all decided to trust her to bring Beastboy back from the Beasts control.

This came out a bit shorter than I would have liked, but in order for the next chapter to flow properly I wanted to stop here. Anyone want to take a stab at what's going to happen next? I only laid on the hints extremely heavy as to the Beasts intentions towards Raven. Just like Rage and BB, Rae Rae will get to have some fun with Beastboy's dark counterpart. Lemony goodness awaits, so stay tuned and be sure to review so I know to continue writing this story for you all. If your new and want to leave some feed back then C'mon! Join the review party, and I'll pour the lemonade as quickly as I can! ;)
