A/N: All the schoolwork I need to finish is now finally gone and I'm back and ready to write my story for you guys!
Thank you to all who wished me luck for the exams! Second highest score! YESSS!
And as promised, here is the new chappie for you~!
I LOVE YOUUUUU!
Romeo, Oh Romeo
"Ano...Natsu-san...h-how do you do...t-this?"
Natsu's eyes quickly travelled to a pair of chocolate ones and he flashed a sweet smile, "You just have to answer it using this formula."
Wendy nodded and mumbled a small 'thanks', before returning to answer the question.
It had been 3 days since the two had met and Natsu and Wendy had been practically inseparable. Which made Lucy quite a bit sad but it was all right. At least she had her Nat-chan to herself when they get home.
Lucy smiled fondly at the two. Natsu was getting better now. He was slowly becoming a good person. It had been a few weeks since he quitted smoking. Maybe coming down wasn't such a bad idea after all?
"Natsu-san..."
"Hmm?"
"Is it alright if I ask you something?" the girl looked shyly at the pink-haired teen before glancing down, "It's something really important..."
Natsu blinked before slowly nodding his head at the girl, confused, "Well, I guess you can."
She grinned and playfully tapped the ends of her pencil, as if recalling fond memories, "H-have you ever had a crush...b-before?"
The pinkette swore he almost choked at his own saliva when he heard what the girl said.
She may be a 12-year old and all but she sure is sly for someone of her age!
Natsu immediately pinked and shyly looked down, making the ghost mentally giggle, "U-umm...yeah, why?
Lucy shot her eyes open (as if they weren't wide in the first place) and turned her attention to the two. She had never seen Natsu interact with people before. Much less people of the opposite gender. She always saw him arriving late and quickly leaving school. After that, he'd either stay at home or go back at the rooftop to smoke. So Natsu with a crush and all was seemingly surprising to her.
The ghost's lips twitched upward to a smirk and she stared at them with interest.
"Oh, nothing." Wendy giggled, "Just asking, that's all."
The lad sighed in relief and Lucy found herself giggling again at Natsu's dorky actions. Seriously, where was the hot-headed and tough guy she met a few weeks ago?
"Then how did you meet Lucy-san?"
Okay, that was surprising.
Wendy stared at Natsu with wide and eager eyes that Natsu thought he resembled someone he knew (*cough* blonde ghost *cough*). He knew that she was expecting an answer, so he decided to quickly think of one.
Natsu, after all, didn't like making people disappointed.
He glanced back at Lucy, who was sitting at the window, and asked for help with his pleading puppy eyes, until the blonde forced a chuckle and muttered something he could translate as a "make something up".
Natsu inwardly groaned and turned to Wendy, nervousness filled in his whole body, "W-well, umm, we met at school you see..."
'Might as well tell her the half-truth.' he thought.
"And then?"
"L-Lucy's a senior of mine. S-she's in Class 4-B while I was in 3-F." he gulped, "I-I was failing at my subjects s-so I came to her to ask f-for help."
"And then?"
"A-And then after that, w-we began t-talking to each other. That's all."
"Your story's boring, Natsu-san." Wendy pouted and sighed, "Oh well. I should just do my homework instead."
Natsu sighed when the girl finally stopped her questions and looked at Lucy with a relieved look. Maybe he overestimated Wendy. She's still a kid, after all. She would never know that he's with a ghost.
"Natsu-san, I've noticed this. Why are you always staring at the window?"
Damn, that kid really is smart.
"I-it's nothing Wendy, let's just continue on with your homework, sh-shall we?!"
"Oh, okay..."

"Nat-chan! Where are you going?! Your house is this way!"
Natsu chuckled at the blonde ghost who was looking confusedly at him. "Yeah, I know," he grinned, "but I have to go to Wendy's school to pick her up."
Lucy looked at the boy with more confusion, "Since when were you a babysitter?"
"I'm not." he scoffed, "I was just on my way to her house when Grandeeney called and told me to pick her up at her school instead. She told me we could start afterwards."
"Grandeeney?" she raised a brow and smiled, "My, my, Natsu, since when did you become this close to them?"
The young man turned pink at Lucy's tease and looked away, "Sh-shut up!"
"Alright, alright. Fine. But seriously Natsu, you've gotta admit. They sure are a nice family, aren't they? I wonder where Wendy's dad is thought. I still haven't seen hi-Hey wait! Where do you think you're going?! Wait up!"
Natsu frowned, "You talk too much Lucy."
"You're just quiet."
He only scowled further, but deep inside, Natsu was very happy. Happy that he was having a great time with the ridiculous ghost he finally came to know as a friend.
Or more than that *le wink*.
"Shush. Less talking, more walking."
"But I don't walk! I float!"
"Just shut up, okay?"

It didn't take long to get to Wendy's middle school. In fact, Natsu was even surprised that she was enrolled in the same school as his. Only that she was in the junior high division though.
"Nat-chan, look! Everyone here looks really yooooung~!"
Natsu face palmed at the ghost's stupidity. Seriously, how did she get ranked as the number 1 in school if she acts like that?
"Of course Lucy, they're kids after all."
"Ooooh..."
"Baka." he muttered under his breath as they made their way to the school. Ignoring the stares he had been receiving ever since they arrived.
Natsu hadn't really thought he'd be unlikable up to here. But oh well, this is still a part of Fairy Academy and that meant even the rumors spread up to there.
Rumors that he really didn't even want to talk about.
"Hey Nat-chan, I think that's Wendy."
Natsu's eyes trailed to the direction Lucy pointed and smiled upon seeing the blue-haired figure walking outside the building. The lad was about to run to her until he noticed the saddened expression on her face.
"Oww!" Lucy whined from behind, "Why'd you suddenly stop, huh?!"
Natsu felt a bit sorry for the ghost. He hadn't realized Lucy was following from behind when he approached the girl. Mumbling a soft sorry, he quickly turned away and went to Wendy's side, not realizing he left a pouting girl behind.
'Natsu, you idiot.' the blonde thought as she floated to his direction.
Natsu would be lying if he said he didn't know what happened to Wendy. He knew that expression. Almost as if he didn't need to think twice about it. He knew about it so well that he cringed at the sight.
'Wendy's being bullied.' he thought as he narrowed his eyes, 'But by who?'
Right on time, a raven-haired boy appeared in front of them. His hair styled in a somewhat wild way, his uniform was worn messily, and he looked at them with a sour face.
"Hey Wendy-chan, where do you think you're going?" he cooed while Wendy could only cringe at the sight.
Without any hesitations, Natsu quickly dragged Wendy from behind and face the boy, "Hey punk, who do you think you are to mess with her?"
His voice was strangely low, and Lucy knew that Natsu is definitely angry.
"I'm Romeo Conbolt." he said confidently, "What the hell's your problem?"
TO BE CONTNUED
A/N: Lolzzz! I didn't expect Romeo to be like that! I don't know what's gotten into myself to make him act all 'gangsta' and all. But I'm sure he'll warm up to the guys in the end and be a much more nicer person.
Sooo, it's time to go~! I hope you enjoyed the chappie~!
Also, I sincerely apologize if they are errors. I don't usually check my work when I update them (which is a big NO-NO) because I'm dead beat after typing a chapter. I just like to cram it all in one day then write a new one the next day. I'm sorry.
BYE BYEEEEE!
