Harry Potter/Inuyasha

Chapter Nine

"Yes, I am." said Krum, a confident smile on his face. Trying not to let his eyes roam her body or he'll get in trouble with her again.

"Oh….kay?" Kagome said very slowly, slightly confused. I guess he's being serious? "Now, um, tell me, why are you here?"

Krum didn't answer, instead he stared at her, as if analyzing her form. Damn, that was a fail.

"Well?! Aren't you going to answer my question?" demanded Kagome, covering her naked body with her robes. Stupid guy keeps looking at her.

Viktor jumped out of it then looked at her. "Oh, I vas looking to swim tonight, actually. The night vas beautiful and -"

Kagome stared wide-eyed, hearing the exact reasons why she came for a night swim. She was suspicious. "Okay. Whatever. I get that. But why are you here? In this area? No one knows of this place."

Viktor smiled. "Vhy do you say that? I'm sure others know of this place. It is very beautiful."

"No." she firmly says. "I'm sure no one else knows."

Viktor stepped forward, head tilted.

"Stop. Don't come any closer." said Kagome.

"Okay. Forgive me. But I came by this place this morning, vhen I was jogging. Now, tell me, Ka-go-me, Vhy are vou out here by yourself? It's a dangerous place out here for a woman. Are vou vith someone -? " asked Viktor curiously.

Kagome eyes widened. She forgot to breathe for a second before her eyes darted to the Great Hall. Then she shook her head and said, "Stop. Stop asking questions. I don't have time for this. I have to go. Or I'll be in even more deep shit. Oh and please, you never saw me here, okay? I wasn't here."

The priestess walked around him then started running towards the castle. Viktor stared.
" ? Are vou not supposed to be out here? Vill you be in trouble? I'm sure I can -"

"Stop asking questions!" she yelled before disappearing from view.

Viktor, however, couldn't help a smile creep up on him as he watched her disappear from view. He began to strip himself of his clothes. He'll definitely remember that one.

Kagome panted as she stood in front of the entrance of the Slytherin common room. She made it, just in time. She was now fully clothed in her robes but soaked as ever. The clouds decided to pour on her way back, much to her dismay.

"Great. My books are soaked." she muttered under her breath before turning to the door and muttering the password. "Pureblood."

The door opened and she walked forward and instantly thought. The fireplace! Oh yes. That fireplace. Her whole body felt frozen and she would rejoice for some needed heat right about by now. There were chatters and laughter echoing through the common room but Kagome never paid attention. It didn't register to her who those sounds belonged to until she turned to the fireplace and stopped.

The noises stopped and attention was on her. Kagome groaned and rolled her eyes. The Malfoy group was still awake (and alive, unfortunately) and in the middle of a game when she showed up.

Flint, noticing her, stood up and smiled flirtatiously. "Oh hey, Kagome. You're just in time. We're just finishing up this game then starting a new one."

"I'm not here to join, Flint." said Kagome, glancing at the fireplace then to him. She really wanted the fireplace right now.

"Of course she's not. Feeling you're too good for us, eh?" voiced Goyle, who glared at her with an ugly smirk on his face.

Kagome shot him a glare. "Oh, shut it, Goyle. No one was talking to your irrelevant ass."

"What did you say to me?!" said Goyle, shot up in anger but was held back by Crabbe.

Kagome rolled her eyes. She suddenly felt like she should've stayed longer and chatted with, what's his name? Anyway, it would've been so much better than being here. Even though she was half naked.

She turned to Flint. "Are you guys done? I would like to use the fireplace."

"No, we're not done. We're just getting started, Higurashi." Came a voice.

Kagome, along with everyone else, turned to the stairs that led to the boys and girls dormitory. There stood Draco Malfoy with his usual smirk that was waiting to be smacked off. He took a few steps before walking a few paces then stopped. He wore no robe, instead, only his white and green jumper and long black pants.

He looked at her, up and down, before arching an eyebrow. "Why are you soaking wet?"

"You're hallucinating," mumbled Kagome, resisting the urge to roll her eyes.

Flint and the others looked at her and finally noticed this. "Oh. I never noticed." muttered Zabini, who finally talked.

"Were you out tonight?" asked Malfoy curiously.

"Why? So you can snitch on me to Professor Snape again?" Kagome said as she narrowed her eyes. Already knowing that the fireplace was a no-go.

Draco chuckled wickedly as he walked to a long chair and sat down. "I won't...for tonight. If you join us, specifically me, in another game of truth or dare." he patted the empty space beside him. "Well?"

Kagome rolled her eyes. "Truth or dare? You serious? Grow up, Malfoy."

Draco frowned angrily when Kagome turned around and started towards the stairs. It wasn't long when she took a step on the stairs that Pansy ran out, panting and looking completely flushed while fixing her robes.

"Draco, why did you leave early -?" Pansy instantly shut up and froze when she ran into Kagome, who looked at her then to Draco then back to her. "Oh, K - K- Kagome? I didn't know you were here."

Kagome coughed tauntingly at Draco and Pansy. Just by looking at a flustered Pancy, she knew what happened between the two. It was clear on Pansy's red face. "I assume it was a dare?"

"Kagome, it's not what it -" stuttered Pansy.

"See, Malfoy. You don't need me after all. Some are more than willing." was all Kagome said before she departed to her room, leaving behind an embarrassed Pansy.

"Stupid girl." said Draco, throwing his head back, a sneer on his face.

Pancy, who made her way next to Draco, thought he was talking to her then said,"I'm sorry, Draco. I didn't mean to -"

" - Can't she give in already? Can't she see that it's her I want, after all this time?" said Draco, completely ignoring Pansy and now glaring at the ceiling. "Is she mental or something, that Higurashi?"

Pansy gasped, then glanced around to the other slytherins, who were all sniggering at his comment. A comment that meant...No! What they just did meant much more - right?

Pansy inhaled. "Draco - "

Draco stood up, cutting her off. "This is boring. I'm tired. I'm going to bed." He turned and left to the boys dormitory.
