Phaux: Whoo chapter 6 is finally here and I would like to apologize to my fans for the long long wait severe writers block as well as my own life getting in the way of writing!.
Cam: Ow….so much yelling… .
Jake: Then don't sit next to her that simple.
Cam: Why are you still here and its been another year for a single chapter update.
Phaux: Because I make him stay here and I have a complex life that involves no internet now. Now here is where things are going to get very controversial in this fanfic and for the series itself and I am very scared that I am going to lose readers due to this concept I am introducing but this is part of the plot of the story and I can't just not put it in because well there wouldn't be a story. Now I don't think Lauren would have put witches in her series but she did have angels and that made me think that maybe there is more in this world of hers. That could be explored surely if angels are real then other supposed supernatural beings would be too, but that's not issue here in this chapter. In this chapter I'm inserting certain beings and legends that already exist and there is a small connection to basic beliefs in Laurens book and in basic belief over all, but hopefully you guys LOVE ME SO MUCH THAT YOU WONT STOP READING! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE :( PLEASE!
Cam: If they love you and this story they will still read it.
Jake: e-e Wow such emotional support and understanding.
Cam: Tch go back to your books librarian.
Jake: Where is Arella?
Cam: -points- sleeping.
Arella: ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Jake: How will she know what's going on asleep?
Phaux: I'll fill her in later e3e let's get started! AND HOPE TO GOD ALL MY FANS STILL LOVE ME AND MY STORY! ;w;
Cam: Sigh let's start the story.
Cam's P.O.V
Cam looked down at Arella in his arms she was hot. About half way to the cabin she instantly began to sweat, feel hot to the touch, and even pant. It concerned him very much. He wondered what was wrong with her. Landing in front of the cottage he quickly entered it and laid Arella down on the couch ignoring the three angels who were instantly on their feet from him busting the door in. If it wasn't for his worry he would already be questioning why they were here.
"Was busting the door in necessary Indiana Jones?" Arriane said.
"Now isn't the time Arriane." He replied while Annabelle quickly rushed to Cam's side to help with the unconscious girl now laying down on the love seat.
"Cam I though we told you to-" Ronald said before he was cut off.
"When are you going to learn I don't do as I am told get over it." He replied seriousness in his voice.
Looking at the young woman before him he felt helpless. She was sick and there was nothing he could do. He would have to wait for Nick and Felicia. Questions swirled in his head. Who is the chosen one? What did Felicia mean by Arella being one of the dark? What was Arella involved in? As Annabelle placed a cold wash rag on Arella's head Cam could hear the roar of an engine in the drive way instantly putting the angels on alert. Cam peeked through the blind of the window seeing Jake and told the three to calm.
Jake's P.O.V
Jake entered shaken up and winded. Grandmother Felicia was not with him she had bought Jake time to escape. He just hoped to god that she was alive. He had no idea what the others would do to her since she allowed a threat to very existence of the world to get away. Instantly he scanned the room and noticed Arriane and two other angels making him frown.
"What are they doing here?!" He yelled.
"I didn't invite them they were here when I got here." Cam stated ignoring Jake's volume.
"We sort of set this nice little shack as our home seeing as no one has been in here for a good 3 years." Arriane stated.
"How is she?" He asked ignoring Arriane explanation.
"She's gotten worse…" Cam said.
"Let me see what I can do." He said making Cam move out of the way for him.
He then knelt beside Arella and put his hand over her forehead. Taking a deep breath he opened his chakra centers and let his energy flow to the hand that was over her forehead and let it poor into her trying to find out what was specifically wrong with her. Instantly he tensed realizing nothing was wrong with her. Instantly he fell back using his hands to support him. How? He asked himself. How could she possibly be Astral Traveling*? When she has no idea how to do so and probably no idea what it was? Nothing was making any sense to him what so ever. He then realized his actions alerted Cam for his voice snapped him out of his thoughts.
"What's wrong?" Cam asked him again.
"Nothing's wrong with her." He said.
"She's burning up what do you mean nothing is wrong?!" Cam yelled.
"She's Astral Traveling. It is where you project your mind into the Astral* or different dimension."
Jake could tell how frustrated and stressed Cam was. Jake felt the same there was nothing he could do. Only Arella can find her way back, but how would she? She probably had no idea where she was and that she wasn't physically at the place she was at. Then there was the question of her knowing how to get back to the physical world. Running a hand through his hair he sighed in defeat. For once in his life his hands were tied. There was no spell he could use or produce to bring her back. Not to mention the danger of staying in the Astral for too long.
Arella's P.O.V
Arella slowly began to wake and while doing so she started to get a feel for her surroundings. It was still dreadfully hot so she assumed she was still in the desert. This time though the ground was course and hard, sandstone maybe? Finally opening her eye she sat up and gasped. She was glowing why was she glowing? This mad her quickly look around. She was in a tiny room. The whole building seemed to be made of sandstone or stone in general. Getting up she walked to the door to open it only to have her hand travel through it.
"WHAT THE HELL?!" she exclaimed jumping back.
"Quiet with the racket would ya." A voice said.
Arella looked around not a person in sight except a bird a very strange looking bird at that, it looked like a miniature crane a very scraggly looking miniature crane at that. The bird looked back at her staring her straight in the eye watching her every movement. She sighed in relief and chuckled to herself and turned back to the door.
"Pffft to think that bird might have said that. Probably another room beside me." She said to herself.
"What's wrong with a bird talking?" The voice said again.
Instantly Arella turned back to the bird eyes wide and mouth dropped. There was no way in hell that bird had talked to her. There was just no way. It was physically impossible for a bird to speak in the manor that this one did. She knew parrots could talk but they're speech was limited and repetitive and quite annoying. She should know for her mom owned one until one day they both came home to find feathers all over the place and a nice heaping pile of some next to her cat. Arella had felt bad for her mother but was relieved that her 6AM alarm clock was out of commission for good. Gulping she spoke.
"Did you really just…"
"Did I just talk of course I did. I spoke earlier did I not?" The bird said answering her unfinished question.
"But birds don't…speak at all… at least they aren't supposed to." She said moving closer to it.
"Well here they can." It stated.
"Where is here?" She asked.
The bird started to laugh and go into hysterics saying things she couldn't quite understand due to its heavy laughter after moment though he finally stopped and looked at her.
"You're kidding right?" It said seriously.
Before Arella could answer the blare of a horn pierced her ears. It was so loud she had to cover her ears somewhat to drown out the awful sound. She knew it was coming from outside so she carefully looked out the craved out window in the stone to see herds of people walking all in the same direction. Silently she asked herself and wondered where they were going.
"Come now we must follow them. Been awhile since I've been to a gathering." The bird said.
"Um I can't go. I need to find my way back home not to mention I'd kind of stand out with how I'm dressed and all…If you have noticed." She said looking down at her black boots, black skinny jeans, and her black lace top.
"You really don't know where you are, do you?" It asked her sighing.
"No I do not and if you do I sure would like to know myself that way I can make a plan to get home." She stated starting to getting annoyed.
"Come along and try to keep up." The bird said ignoring her last statement flying right through the door.
Arella huffed and crossed her arms then sighed in defeat. Closing her eyes she sprinted right through the door and opened them to find herself in a long hallway. She could not understand how she was able to go through it but she bulled it down to it having to do with why she was glowing. Looking left then right she caught a glimpse of the bird and ran after it slowly catching up to it. She really didn't want to follow it cause well it was a talking bird, but what else did she have to go on. While she aimlessly followed the bird she stopped at the end of the hall noticing people.
"Don't stop were going to be late." The bird said trying to hurry her.
"Won't they see me?!" She countered.
"I'm really starting to believe you don't know where you are now come on keep up." It said flying right past the people.
Arella watched dumbfound as to how the people could not have realized or noticed an ugly bird flew right past their heads, then again she was already talking to it, walking through doors, and her body seemed to be glowing. So with a sigh she walked right past the people not a single one of them noticing her. As she looked around she realized a slew of people were out in the streets and all were walking in the same direction and none of them could see her. She began to look around for the bird but he seemed to be nowhere in sight. Great her only lead and the only thing here in this area that seemed to be able to communicate with her is gone. Sighing she decided to go on ahead and follow the crowd of people after all that's what the bird probably wanted her to do in the first place so it's highly possible she would run into it again. As she started aimlessly following the people she started to realize something. Not only was the architecture of the buildings old the clothes the people were wearing were old. Slowly a realization was coming to her she kept pushing it down but when the crowd of people finally stopped there was no more denying it.
"What do ya know you found your way." A voice stated before the being using it landed on her shoulder.
"I'm…I'm…I'm in Egypt..."Arella uttered out slowly.
"Just realize that?" He asked sincerely.
"Yeah…um by the way who are you?" She asked.
"Eh I'm no one special." He replied making her sigh at his ever present evasiveness.
Once again the sound of a horn blew again and as this happened she looked up and actually began to take in her new surroundings she was standing in front of a large palace that had a flight of steps that lead up to its entrance. Slowly people began to appear at the front of the steps. Instinctively Arella wanted to get a closer look and began pushing her way through the crowd…well more like going through them.
"Wait come back! There is no need to rush!" The bird called out to her due to her trying to get her to wait for him for her hurry caused him to fall off her shoulder.
Once she got to the front her mouth dropped. Yes there were people there were also beings that were not so much people. There at the foot of the steps was the body of a human with the head of a dog. Instantly a yelp escaped her mouth and she fell to the ground. Instead of it just standing there like she thought it would it turned its head and looked at her. It sees me?! She exclaimed to herself backing up a bit, but before the creature in front of her could even act on its registered thoughts a large shadow casted down onto the ground causing her to look up and see the sky blackened by dark cloud. Instantly she looked down to see if the other people around her were reacting to it but to her surprise they were gone every last one of them including the strange creature that was in front of her. Frantically she looked around more only to see even the bird that had graced her with its presence.
Much to her dismay she suddenly got the feeling of being watched all over again. She did not want to look up but to her dismay she instinctively did so. There it was the ominous red snake like eye looking down at her with glee. She trembled under its gaze what did it want with her? What could see possibly be able to give it.
"Do not fear me. We will be sssseeeing each other more very sssoon." It hissed out at her soothingly.
"What do you want with me?" She asked shakily.
"You mussst figure that out yourssselfff." It said chuckling.
Arella brought her knees to her chest and held her head in her hands. She wanted Cam. She wanted nothing but to snuggled safely from his arms and concealed from the outside world by his massive wings. As if the eye knew what she was thinking a displeasing gust of wind hit her knocking her on her back and keeping her there.
"You belong to me." It hissed in anger glaring down at her.
"No, I belong to no one." She choked out returning the gaze.
"Oh? Maybe I sssshould ssshow sssome of the truth then…" It said displeased.
Jake's P.O.V
Five hours had gone by and Arella has yet to still awaken. Jake had been frantically looking through books for anything that could bring her back. There was no way someone could astral travel without realizing they were doing so. So it had to be that she was called to the astral. He had only heard of such things in legends but at this point anything was possible. He still could believe Arella wasn't the one. How could someone so sweet and innocent not be the one? He then looked at Cam whose gaze had yet to leave Arella's limp form since he got here. Could he be the cause of it? Would he be the one that would let her stray down such a horrible path? It was wrong of him to assume such a thing but it was the only reasonable logic he had.
Cam was a Demon and had gone out of his way to make sure he could tell Arella everything before Jake could. Before Jake could warn her how dangerous Cam and the other angels were in general. Not mention, if Arella really had lived a previous life and Cam was there to see her last breath why didn't he do anything to stop such a tragedy? He couldn't trust the Demon for all he knew he could be in line with him. He sighed just about ready to give up on the book he had in his hand but a small spell caught his eye reading through he knew it was slim but it could possibly work. It was the only hope he had.
"I think I found something." He mused still looking through it.
"What is it?" Arriane asked?
"It's used to call and wake up comatose patients. It's a slim chance but it could possibly work." Jake said.
"I don't understand what is the big rush about getting her out of this place can't see find her own way out?" Annabelle asked.
"You can't astral travel without knowing you're doing so. Meaning she was called there by someone or something. I've only heard of such a thing in legend so I assume she can't leave unless whatever called her there allows her to leave or if she is forced back here." Jake explained.
"You assume?! What if your wrong what if what you do kills her?!" Cam exclaimed.
"She has to get out of there she can only stay there for so long." Jake countered curious whether Cam's concern was genuine.
"What does that even mean?!" Cam yelled.
"It means if she stays there too long her spirit is trapped there forever and her body will die!" Jake shouted stunning Cam into silence.
PLEASE READ THIS I WOULD VERY MUCH APPRICIATE THAT.
Phaux: oh my gosh as I said earlier I am terribly sorry for the extreme long wait. Life has taken its course on me and I am now living at a place with no internet. Not to mention I sort of got stumped on the fic I had lost inspiration for it but fear not I am back and I am strong. I am working hard on chapter 7 as we speak. When I first came up with this fic I did not expect a lot of the people that read it to have even read it and liked it. This fic has come far and like I said earlier this chapter is opening up into what the plot will be. I don't intend to rush or make this fic small by no means necessary. So Jake, Arella, and Grandmother Felicia will be seen a lot more, as well as new characters will come into play. The trick is assigning personality's to characters that already exist. Apparently I haven't done a bad job cause luckily none of you are complaining, but if you have a concern please let me know I take criticism but I don't take relentless bashing there is difference. I am very pleased so many of you like this fic and I encourage reviews and your support let me know what you think. Ask me questions about Arella or any OC character that is introduced in this fic. I'll try my best not to spoil the story but also answer your questions. Thank you very much for your time and I hope you spend more of it with me in the future.
Cam: You just go on and on and on wouldn't a simple "hey guys life got in the way thanks for the time if you have any questions just ask." would of sufficed? :/
Jake: ._. I'm sure she appreciates you butchering her well thought out thank you and love for her fans.
Cam: I didn't butcher it. I simplified it. –puts feet up on coffee table-
Arella: I thought it was beautiful :)
Phaux: Aww thanks :3
Cam: O-O When did you wake up?
Arella: The middle of the story
Jake: Eh you didn't miss too much then.
Arella: Nope. Speaking of questions how about you the lovely fans of this story ask us anyyy questions about us and the fic and we will answer them for you. You can even ask our dear author some things too :)
Phaux: You are so awesome. I don't deserve such treatment. T-T
Cam: Your right you don't :D
Meg: -throws a gallon milk jug of butter at his head- * Shut your mouth..
Cam: X_X
Jake: O_O
Arealla: O-O
