Author Note: I'm Terribly sorry for not updating. Life got in the way and decided that it wanted to be a jerk.. Anyways, I'm happy to say that I'm going to try and update every 2 weeks. I have very little free time, but I'm going to use some it to start writing for my stories again. I honestly don't know why I quit other then life being in the way. I did do some revisions to Chapter 4 Part 2. Please go check that out if you haven't already. A big thank you to everyone who has fav/followed and reviewed this story! I got the notices in my email and it made me smile each time I got one. Which is the sole reason I'm back. I love all of you! THANK YOU!

The next couple of days found Team 7 doing a ton of D rank missions. And this particular day was no different. The missions varied between cat retrieval, pulling weeds, and painting fences. Many more could be named, but those would just bore someone to death. Today they are pulling weeds, which usually means there will be a cranky blonde and at the moment she seemed very cranky.

"I QUIT!" Yelled one pissed Naru.

Everyone stopped what they were doing and turned their attention to the blonde currently throwing a fit. Even Kakashi snapped his book closed, which rarely ever happens, and turned his good eye to focus on the exasperated blonde.

Sasuke was the to speak up after turning his attention on the fuming blue eyed girl,

"What do you mean, You quit?"

Naru stood and stalked over to the raven haired boy had been pulling weeds.

yes, they were pulling weeds. The Hokage thought it was a good mission for their Team instead of Team 10, only because Naru's mouth go them in trouble, which is usually the case with them.

The blonde girl, now standing next to Sasuke, cleared her throat and clarified,

"I mean, I quit this mission! I'm tired of doing these stupid D ranks! That't all we've been doing, I want a real mission or even more training would be more welcome then these stupid missions."

Sakura was the next to speak giving no one else the chance to because she always has to have her say before anyone else can.

"Naru, Shut up! Just because you're getting a little dirty, sweaty doesn't mean you should claim this isn't a real mission, right Sasuke-kun?"

Naru immediately snorted her distaste for her pink haired teammate and said,

"Pfffffttttt, get over yourself Haruno, you've done nothing but gripe and groan that this is so gross. That you just had your nails done and your make up is running and that your precious Sasuke-kun won't look at you. So don't go about confusing me with you, because I have no problem with getting dirty and sweaty."

She was going to continue mocking Sakura, but Kakashi intervened with his hands up in a surrendering motion.

"Now, Now you two calm down. Naru this is a real mission. The only difference between this and other is that D ranks are designed to help create team work and build off of it."

By this time Sakura and Naru were glaring daggers at each other causing Sasuke to sigh because he was caught in the middle of it quite literally. Well not only Sasuke sighed, but Kakashi did too because he knew his words fell on empty ears.

Usually doesn't fall for the bait, but today caught her in a very irritable mood, even more so then normal. Minato tried calming her down, but that was useless attempt seeing how his daughter is still in a bad mood.

When she gets like this is usually very rare, but it seems to be happening more and more lately the closer her birthday approaches. Naru's father sighed knowing there was nothing he could do since he powerless being stuck in her mind, the only thing he could do is try and comfort her even that wasn't working. There are other means that help, but that requires the presents of 2 people who were no longer around, Itachi being a missing ninja and Shisui who had passed on to the after life. Minato tried getting her to open up and talk about it, but she was having none of that.

In present day time Naru grew more agitated at Sakura who kept trying to either flirt with Sasuke or accuse her of something. Then with Sakura's off handed comment sent a wave of emotions thru Naru,

"You should just stop while you're behind Naru. No one is listen, because they don't care about you or your mindless babble. Don't you get it? No one likes you that's why you were tak-..."

"SAKURA!" Sasuke and Kakashi yelled simultaneously.

The pink haired girl was abruptly cut off before she could get the last few words of her sentence out. To Naru though, the other girl didn't have to finish her words in order for the blonde to understand what she was hinting at. Naru knew she shouldn't be affected, but Sakura's words cut deep into Naru's heart.

'She must have heard what the whispers were about today' The blue eyed girl thought.

It was just as Minato had suspected, but he still asked, 'Is that the main cause of your irritable mood today?"

She didn't respond, but turned her attention to the people waiting for her reaction. Naru analyzed Sakura who had been silent for a whole minute surprisingly. To Sakura, the words she said were nothing, but words without knowing the true meaning behind them and how much it affected the whiskered faced girl. But she didn't care if they managed to do damage or not, she only knew that she had won.

The Namikaze heir moved her head so that her face was looking down and her bangs were covering her eyes as she spoke soft an slow,

"Haruno, I don't know what you heard, or even who told you. So don't pretend you know what you're talking about because you don't. You wouldn't even understand if I told you the whole truth let alone begin to comprehend, so save it for someone who cares."

After the former Hokage's daughter had said her piece, she took off running toward the village games to a secret spot that only a couple know about and that't including Sasuke.

Author Note: Yes I know, I made Sakura quite the bitch... Don't worry things will get better... Eventually. ; ) I know this chapter was full of angst, but the next chapter should be better. Might even get to meet someone who hasn't been seen since chapter 4... I hope this chapter was everything I hoped it to be! Please let me know what you think by leaving a review!

You don't have to leave one, but it would help so I know how bad or good the chapter was.

Thank you for reading!
