"Regina, I didn't mean to react the way I did. My behaviour was totally uncalled for and I really wish you can forgive me. Its just...I'm an idiot!"

"That we can agree on" Regina couldn't help herself.

"Not helping" Emma replied.

"I'm sorry"

"Look, Regina, for a very long time, its just been me and Henry. And I've always been the one making decisions as far as he's concerned. I guess you just caught me off guard and I didn't know how to react to someone else making a decision that I should otherwise be the one making. Or maybe I just got jealous that someone else made him so happy and it wasn't me. I know neither of those excuse me for how rude I was to you. I should be grateful that I'm dating someone who cares about my son as much as I do, instead of behaving like a jealous idiot"

"Oh! So thats what we're doing?" Regina asked with a smirk and Emma raised her brow in confusion.

"Dating?"

"I don't know, maybe. I probably shouldn't have said that. I just don't know what else to call you. To call this" she waved her hand between them. "Friend, girlfriend, Henry's friend...We haven't even been on our second date yet" she whispered that last part mostly to herself.

"What do you want to call me?" Regina asked.

"I don't know. All I know is, that I like you. I like you a lot Regina. And when you left tonight, hating me..."

"Emma, I could never hate you!" Regina said.

Emma smiled at that, though it didn't quite reach her eyes.

"All I know is when you left and didn't answer my calls...I just couldn't bear the thought of you not talking to me again. And Henry...when I told him you'd left, He was so sad. I don't ever want to see that look on his face, Regina. Not if I can help it. And I don't want to ever feel that either. I know tonight was my fault and I am sorry. I didn't mean..."

"No Emma" Regina cut her off. "It was my fault too. "I should have checked in on you before getting him the phone. You are his mother after all."

"And you are his..."

"His mother's girlfriend" Regina finished.

"What?!" Emma exclaimed, earning a smile from the brunette in response "Really?" the blonde asked in disbelief. Regina smiled some more. Enjoying Emma reaction to the fullest.

"But...but...I haven't even asked yet!" Emma said,

"Well then you better ask soon before someone beats you to it" Regina winked at her playfully.

"Okay. But not right now. Not when you're... like that" Emma pointed nervously at Regina's towel covered frame.

"Like what? Naked? I'm I making you uncomfortable, Emma?" Regina asked as she scooted closer to the blonde.

Emma swallowed. "God" she breathed. "You're so beautiful and I want you bad" she whispered the last part mostly to herself. "But let me at least take you to dinner first"

"Okay" Regina replied as she sat up. "When?"

"How about tomorrow? Its not a work or a school day. Henry can stay alone for a couple of hours. Speaking of Henry, I should probably get back" Emma said as she leaned in and pressed her lips against Regina's. The kiss started off soft and then quickly turned passionate and hot. She pushed Regina back so she was lying on the couch and then she climbed between her legs without breaking their kiss. She gently nipped on her bottom lip and sucked it into her mouth. Regina moaned as Emma's tongue entered her mouth and her hands found their way around the brunette's towel covered waist. Regina's hand fisted in the blonde's hair. Emma pressed her body harder on Regina's and their cores grinded against each other's and they both throbbed with want for more. But they both knew if they didn't stop now, Emma would never leave, so they both pulled apart, reluctantly. Emma stood up and Regina adjusted her towel standing up too.

"So, um...tomorrow?" Regina asked, breathless.

"Yeah, I'll pick you up at seven" Emma answered as they approached the door. "One more thing though..."

"Mmmh, what is it?"

"I'm I forgiven for acting like a bitch?"

Regina snacked her arm around the blonde's waist and pulled her body flush against her own. "Definitely" she said, punctuating the word with a chaste kiss on the blonde's lips.

"You wanna know why?"

Emma stared at her questioningly.

"Because" kiss "I" Kiss "Like" another "You alot" kiss "too" the last kiss was more deep, heated and passionate that they both panted after pulling apart. They didn't need any words to describe what they were feeling. It was all evident in their eyes and as Emma walked away from Regina's front door, one thing was certain. She was falling for the brunette and she was falling fast and hard.

"How did it go?"

"Okay, I guess" Emma said to her son who was walking out of the kitchen with a glass of water in one hand and his new phone on the other. "Hey kid, would you come sit with me for a sec?"

"Yeah, sure. Whats going on? Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, everything is fine. I just want to talk to you about something" Emma said as both mother and son took their seats beside each other on the same couch.

"Its okay mom, you don't need my permission to do anything. And I think it'd be really cool if you and Regina started dating." Henry said after a beat and Emma's mouth went agape.

"I..." Emma tried to speak but that was the best her vocal codes could produce.

"Thats what you wanted to talk to me about, right?"

"Yeah...but how did you know?"

"Come on mom! The hand holds, the stolen glances. You guys aren't exactly subtle. I could tell that you guys liked each other the very first day you met. And I know you wouldn't let me hang out around Regina if you didn't really trust her"

"Wow! Okay. And you're really sure you're fine with it? You don't mind?"

"Why would I mind? Regina is awesome and you're happier than I've seen in...forever! you deserve this mom and I'm sure Regina does too. And...I wouldn't mind having two moms" Henry smiled at her.

"Hey! Not so fast kid! We just started dating. We don't even know where this will go"

"It will be fine, I'm sure. Things with Regina are different. Its the first time you've introduced me to someone you're dating, that must tell you something, right?"

"Well technically, you introduced us but I get the point" Emma smiled as she ruffled Henry's hair.

"True. So how did things go between you two tonight anyway?"

"Pretty good. I'm taking her to dinner tomorrow and then I'm gonna ask her to be my girlfriend officially"

"Cool! In that case, can I sleep over at Avery's tomorrow then? I could bring my school stuff so we can go to school together on Monday"

"Sounds good to me"

"Awesome! And no need to worry, I'm sure Regina will say yes" Emma decided not to tell him that Regina had already said yes till after their date and just smiled as she enclosed him in a loving embrace.

"You're pretty amazing, you know that?" she asked as they stood up from the couch.

"I know" the boy replied as they started heading up the stairs to their respective bedrooms for much needed sleep.

"Wow! You look...You look stunning, Regina" Emma said as soon as the brunette opened the door.

"Thank you. You don't look so bad yourself" Regina replied as Emma leaned in to plant a kiss on her cheek.

Regina did really look gorgeous. In a plain black figure hugging dress that stopped just above the knees and black pumps that made her legs seem like they were going on forever. Emma on the other hand was in her skin tight jeans, a tank top which showed her abs that any woman would kill to have, and her favourite leather jacket. She wore her hair in curls that fell on her shoulders and back in a beautiful blonde mass. Soon after the two were in Emma's car ready to start their night together.

"So, where are you taking me? If I may ask, Miss Swan"

"You may, but I won't answer. You'll just have to wait and see"

They then stopped in front of a diner shortly after and Emma rushed out to open Regina's door. When Regina got out, she gave her a questioning look.

"I know its not the fancy six star hotels you're used to but I wanted to do things my way tonight. This place is kinda special to Henry and me. We always come here when we're having a bad day or when we just want to hang out. I don't know why but I just feel like we've always done that since forever" Emma said and Regina's mind immediately went to Granny's.

"...but we can totally go somewhere else if you feel uncomfortable or anything" Emma was going on.

"Emma..." Regina stopped her by placing her hand on Emma's. "I don't care where we are, just as long as I'm with you. I'd gladly eat outside if it meant spending time with you"

"Really?" Emma asked, breathless and Regina smiled. "Okay. We always order fries and burgers and shakes..."

"I don't do fries...or burgers"

"I can tell. But this ones, you're gonna love! Come on" Emma said pulling her through the diner's front door.

After they'd settled opposite each other in the cubicle at the far end of the restaurant, they ordered and ate while they talked about everything and nothing. Soon they were also done with desert and after taking care of the cheque, they decided to take a walk, leaving Emma's car at the diner. They held hands and together they strolled down the streets of New York as they enjoyed the cool breeze.

"Thank you for dinner, Emma. It was surprisingly delicious" Regina said.

"I told you" Emma grinned as she playfully nudged at her. Regina smiled and leaned in to kiss her cheek.

"So, how is Henry?"

"He's good. He's spending the night at a friend's house. I actually spoke to him last night and the kid got really excited when I told that I'd be asking you to be my girlfriend"

"You told him?!" Regina shouted.

"Yeah, I had to! So what do you say Miss Mills? Would you do me the honour of being mine? See where this goes?"

"Why Miss Swan, nothing would make me happier" she said in all honesty. All the anger she was preparing to direct at the blonde disappeared. She couldn't believe that this was finally happening. She and Emma were finally trying things out. If only the blonde knew for how long she'd waited for a moment like this...But it didn't matter. When the right time came, Emma would learn or remember about their journey to this moment right here but for now, Regina would do what Tinkerbell told her. She was going to enjoy and cherish every single minute she shared with this woman she loved more than anything. Together with their son they were going to become the family she never had but always wanted.

"Not even a kiss from your girlfriend?" Emma put her hand on her chest in mock hurt.

Regina then grabbed Emma by the waist, stopping her dead in her tracks. The touch sent shivers down Emma's spine causing her to shudder slightly. She still wasn't used to what the brunette's touch and proximity did to her. Then green and brown eyes met and they just stood and stared at each other for a while. Regina simply...perplexed her. She was having a hard time believing that this was actually happening. Her and Regina standing right here right now, in each other's arms was like a dream she didn't even know she was dreaming but now she didn't want to ever wake up from. Was it fast? Yes it was. Did she care? Not really. She was going to seize the day and just enjoy what life was offering her. A gorgeous woman who had been nothing but kind to her and her son. A woman she felt such a strong connection to that she couldn't stay away even if she tried.

After what seemed like forever, Regina closed the small distance between them and crashed her lips to Emma's. Electric sparks were sent throughout both their bodies making them both lightheaded. Regina's kiss tasted like the wine she'd had earlier and something else. Something sweet, like apples. It was so inviting. After a short but heated make out session they pulled apart. Emma's eyes flattering open and she looked at Regina. They were both out of breath. Regina's brown eyes were dark with desire and her mouth spread in a wide smile. Then she crashed her lips on Emma's again. This time with much force and hunger. A soft moan escaped Emma's mouth making Regina grip her around her waist, completely flushing their bodies together. Their tongues fought for dominance as they held on each other. They both moaned loudly and their sensual sounds spread heat throughout their bodies, like wildfire, ending at their cores..

"Emma..." Regina moaned as she pulled away and rested her forehead against Emma's.

"Mmmh" Emma's replied.

"I..."

"Do you want to get out of here?"

Regina nodded because all the words and her ability to speak had escaped her. Reluctantly the two stepped away from each other but they let their fingers lace against each others as they held hands and headed towards the diner to get Emma's car and then somehow, they were packing infront of Regina's building and heading towards the apartment.
