So... I recently went back to all my old writings and found this one... I spent almost an hour trying to remember my password to this account and then I figured out how many people have been on this one...

Hi Guys, long time no see...

Don't be too mad.

Chapter 8

Regina woke up the next day soaked in tears, she didn't want to get up. She didn't want to face the fact that her daughter was once again in town. Regina sat up in her bed only to hear small noises coming from downstairs, she slowly got up to see Daniel riding his skateboard into the entrance of the house.

"What did I say about riding that thing in the house" Regina called from the upstairs look out.

Her son quickly froze and looked up. "Sorry Mom" He apologized with a small smile.

"What are you up to anyway?" Regina asked seeing that he had his backpack on.

"Oh um, Do you think I could go hangout with Cale and the others in town?" He pleaded.

"Sure, just be sure to call every once and awhile" Regina sighed shooing him out with a hand motion.

"Yay, thanks mom! I love you"

"Love you too, now go to it"

Daniel rode out of the house closing to door behind him as Regina then stood silent staring down at her hands. She had gotten so angry at herself the other day that she had started to through things and accidentally scraped her hand on a piece of glass though she does tell herself that she deserved it. She deserved all of it, for everything but it was all that Mary Margaret's fault.

Wait... Mary Margaret. Snow White.

If Emma has come back into town that could only mean that she is here to break the curse. Regina held her head and walked back into the bedroom, how she have been so dumb. She dressed into her usual pant suit and walked down the long steps to the first floor.

After quickly snacking on an apple and taking a coffee for the road she walked out of her house and into her car.

When Emma had came to the town when she was just a little girl, time began once again and nothing was the same as usual. Of course Regina had been blinded by the responsibilities of taking care of the young girl to even care about anyone around them. After Emma left though the whole town went back to the way it normally did just with a little dash of Emma.

Now since the supposible savior has come back time has begun to move once again and this time Regina has noticed. As she drove through town she observed the towns people. Ruby was standing outside Granny's actually sweeping for once, Gepetto was no longer hammering down the sign on his shop and the children were no longer running down the town streets; a big difference compared to every other day in Storybrooke. What stood out most though was the town square clock, since Storybrooke was there and even when little Emma was in town the clock never moved but now it moves like nothing was ever in it way, and it frightened Regina.

She pulled to the side, parking in front of the infamous pawn shop and quickly walked inside.

"Gold" Regina called out in a voice that she had longed for.

"Yes my Queen?" An annoyed and rather snotty voice called. A tall man came from behind the curtain in the small pawn shop, his cane tapping against the floor and rather long hair floppy hair resting on his pale oily skin. "May I help you with something?" He asked standing tall.

"How long has it been?" Regina asked with a frown.

"Since what?" He breathed out. "months since your last appointment with doctor Archie I can tell"

"No you idiot, don't play dumb with me" Regina snapped back in an instant."How long has it been since the curse has been casted?"

Gold rolled his eyes. "It's your curse, you should really keep better track of it" He started."It's been 17 years but in just one more day it'll be 18" He smirked the strange smirk that makes even the hair on the back of your neck jump up.

Regina pounded her fist on the table. "So she's here to break it" She said quietly.

"Afraid so dearie" Gold answered as Regina let out a small groan. "So what are you gonna do? Your not gonna hurt her, you wouldn't do that again"

Regina looked up at him, her eyes darker than before. "And who said that?" She asked, her voice also lower then before.

"You wouldn't have the guts to, you loved the girl to much" Gold said in a mocking tone that almost sounded like a laugh.

"So, I loved my papa and he didn't get in the way" She said, refusing to give into what she knew was true.

"Yes but that is when your heart was pure darkness, you've grown weaker over these eighteen years. You thought it was hard for you then dearie but you'd be crushed if you did anything like it again." Gold said in a matter of fact way as he turned his back toward her and began to sort through a few drawers, looking for something.

Regina sighed and bowed her head, knowing what he said was true, If only she hadn't grown so weak. "So what do we do than?" She asked silently.

"We?" He questioned with a perked eyebrow. "As I told you before this is your curse to deal with" He turned around and put down a box of bottles "However I can help out, a little"

"What's this all for?" Regina asked looking at the bottles as Gold placed a small empty vile next to it.

"Well you don't want her to end up knowing anything and coming after you" Gold said picking out a bottle with purple liquid, pouring a few drops "So let's make sure know one of thing triggers anything that'll make her remember."

He continued picking out different bottles placing small drops in the smaller one until it was filled and glowing.

"So this will do what exactly?" Regina asked examining the small bottle.

"Just get her to drink it and she won't get her memory back any time soon, so you can manipulate her in anyway." Gold said handing her the vile and then putting the box away.

Regina nodded and put the vile into her purse. "Hopefully I'll be able to get near her to drink it"

"Have you already managed to scare her off?" He asked in a mocking tone.

She rolled her eyes and turned around, heading out towards the door. "Thanks for the help Rumple" She said walking out of the shop and into the car.

"No problem" Rumple groaned as she walked out. "Always have to be a pain, she'll have fun when the potion Emma drinks actually shows her everything she needs to know" He smirked to himself as he went to the back of his shop once again.

Regina made her way down Main Street, happy with what she got. She was going to make everything right with her daughter no matter what.
