The last few chapters have been mainly focused on Jon'so who, while important to the story, shouldn't hog all of the story takes place in the present, weeks after the encounter with Robin.

"Hello, Father the Conqueror!" Victoria exclaimed, approaching her father, who was inspecting the surrounding buildings around him. She quickly found herself at the pointy end of his spear.

"You dare approach the conqueror while he surveys a potential conquest?" Walhart demanded.

"I was surveying it myself." Victoria said, not deterred by the weapon pointed at her.

"What make you think a small girl like yourself could take a town like this for herself?" Walhart asked. "You must have the blood of a conqueror in order to singlehandedly bring a town such as this to its knees!"

"But I do have that blood flowing inside of me!" Victoria exclaimed. "I am your daughter, having defeated time itself to pillage by the side of the conqueror that spawned her!"

Walhart look at the girl. "No."

"No?!" Victoria exclaimed, taken aback. "You dare reject the spawn of the conqueror? Your own child?"

"How could you have come from me? You are much too tiny." Walhart observed.

"You can blame the genetics of my other parent for that." Victoria exclaimed. "A small, weak woman that lacked any physical benefits. I'm quite frankly surprised what drew you to the woman."

"Another conquest, I suppose." Walhart commented. "One of many. You would do better to associate yourself with your mother then myself, considering how much more you clearly have in common with her. I do not associate myself with my basterds, so consider yourself disowned."

Victoria glared up at the man. "Disowned?!" She shouted. "I'll show you the might of a conqueror!" She began to pull out a tome, only to find the point of a spear pressed to her throat.

"This is not a fight you will win. I am not known for my mercy, child." Walhart said, glaring down at the girl who shared his eyes. "I'll let you go for now, as an apology for your creation. Next time, I will correct my mistake."

Victoria growled at Walhart, before putting her tome away and running away.

"...Pathetic girl." Walhart said to himself. "Off to cry I suppose."

Walhart was sitting in a tavern, in the same town he was surveying, eating a salad. He was wolfing it down as the black-clad Chon'sin young man approached him.

"Excuse me, Walhart?" He asked.

Walhart looked up at the boy, noticing the initial hostility in his eyes. "Are you looking for a fight, child? I'm not one for bar fights, but I will entertain you with a duel."

"I'm not looking for a fight." The man said.

"I can see it in your eyes." Walhart commented.

"You'll have to forgive me." The young man said. "I spent a good portion of my life believing you were behind the death of my parents."

"There is a good chance I was." Walhart commented.

The young man sighed, taking a seat across from Walhart. "I should introduce myself. I am Jon'so, son of Sir Kellem and Queen Say'ri."

"...You come from the future." Walhart said.

"Yes." Jon'so replied.

"A bastard of mine apparently traveled with you." Walhart said.

"I wanted to ask you about that." Jon'so said. "What exactly did you say to Victoria?"

"I disowned her and told her to never associate herself with me and my legacy." Walhart calmly explained.

"...That explains it." Jon'so commented. "Would you consider reconsidering this viewpoint? Victoria's been acting...strange after your meeting with her."

"How so?" Walhart asked, out of curiosity.

"Well…" Jon'so began to explain.

"I am Vicky! The Blood of the Peasant woman flows within me!" Victoria shouted, garbed in the traditional clothing a common woman would wear, which included a plain dress and a bonnet. Her hair was down, and her red armor was nowhere to be seen.

"Let us pick flowers, as commoners do!" She exclaimed, dropping to the ground and pulling flowers out of a garden a small girl was tending to.

"Mama!" The girl shouted. "There's a crazy lady in the back yard!" She ran into the house.

"Your bloodline ends here, flower…" Victoria said menacingly to one of the flowers, before violently pulling it out of the ground.

"Should we...help her?" Mar'on asked, confused, as Victoria was kicked out of the house with the flowers in her hands.

"Jon'so working on that." Luna said. "Besides, I'm not entirely sure what we can do…"

"Ah! Royalty!" Victoria exclaimed, walking over to Luna and Mar'on. She had roughly shoved the flowers into her hair in an attempt to make a flower crown. "Allow me, a simple commoner, to bask in your presence." She fell to the ground, bowing.

Luna sighed. "Victoria, you don't have to-"

"I AM BASKING YOU, MORTAL!" Victoria shouted, shutting Luna up and causing Mar'on to quivver in terror.

"It appears to be just as you described it." Walhart said, to the surprise of Victoria. She turned to see her father, who was lead over to her by Jon'so.

"Father!" Victoria exclaimed. "What bring you here? Are you here to discipline me? Or have you arranged me to be married?" She noticed Jon'so. "Am I to marry the prince? While he is quite an opportunity for a simple peasant, he does not fit into my fate. I am to be married to someone as simple as a baker or a blacksmith, and long to be taken away by royalty for the rest of my life!"

"...What?" Jon'so said. "No, I was just going to see if I could get you two past your differences."

"This changes nothing." Walhart said. "She is better off like this, following her present bloodline. I shall have nothing to do with her."

Victoria, in spite of herself, looked away with shame. Luna, however, stepped up to the conqueror.

"What gives you the right to disown your own daughter?!" Luna exclaimed angrily at Walhart.

"If she's my daughter, I'm allowed to disown her." Walhart replied.

"It's not right!" Mar'on countered, backing Luna up. "She looked up to you, long before she even met you!"

"A lot of people look up to me." Walhart commented. "There is no need for me to invite each of them to my table."

"But-" Jon'so began to say, backing up his friends, only to be interrupted by a scream.

"THEIF!" A woman exclaimed, as a bandit ran out of her shop, carrying a bag full of stolen goods.

Victoria's eyes darted up. He pulled a fire tome out of her dress and outstretched a hand toward the thief.

"PERISH!" She exclaimed, as a pillar of flame blasted out of her hand. The bandit screamed as the flames enveloped him, vaporizing both him and the bag he was carrying.

The town was silent as the looked at the ashes where the bandit once stood.

"My goods!" The woman exclaimed.

"We can pay you for those!" Luna exclaimed.

"We can?" Mar'on asked.

"I dunno." Luna admitted sheepishly.

Victoria sighed. "You must forgive me, Father. Such actions aren't proper for a commoner like myself." She said.

Walhart was unmoved. "Indeed." He admitted. "They are not. Come with me. We shall make a conqueror out of you yet."

Victoria looked up at her father, eyes wide. "Really?" She asked.

"Such power could only come from my blood." Walhart admitted. "you have proved yourself my spawn, but there is still more work for us to do."

"Now, hold on." Jon'so said. "You can't just disown your daughter for vain reasons, only to take her in when you feel like it! That defeats the purpose of a family-Ugh!" He knelt over, as Victoria punched him in the gut.

"Silence, mortal!" She exclaimed. "One doesn't speak to a Conqueror like that!" She reached a hand up to her father, who grabbed it and pulled her up onto his horse. "Onward! To victory!"

"Indeed!" Walhart exclaimed. "First lesson: we do not eat meat. Can you tell me why?"

"Because we should not eat animals that are less than or equal to our own greatness." Victoria replied.

Walhart raised his eyebrows, surprised. "I underestimated you, daughter." He admitted. "I will not make that mistake again."

"This isn't right, is it?" Luna commented, helping Jon'so up the ground.

"This is Victoria we're talking about." Jon'so commented. "I'm not sure what we were expecting."

"Still, I suppose she's happy." Mar'on added.

"Yeah." Luna said, smiling. "Although she was pretty confident in her opinions on being engaged to Jon'so."

"...I'm not going to hear the end of this, am I?" Jon'so commented.

"Not when I tell Aln and Annie about it!" Luna exclaimed, laughing at the prince.

Jon'so groaned as the Father and Daughter rode off into the sunset.

I'm not going to lie- Victoria has one of the more interesting relationships with her parents out of the group, followed closely by Annie. You'll learn more about Victoria's mother in her backstory chapter.

In the next three chapters, we will look at Jon'so life after he returned to Chon'sin, begin Aln's story, and do the first support conversation, which will combine all four parts of the support, C-S.
