James: END OF CLIFFHANGER. There, you people didn't need to wait too long for the continuation after all.
Alexis: Wow...That was the fastest opener you have ever put on for this story. Wooh!
James: Please stop celebrating something as minor as typing down text onto a page.
Alexis: ...Read and enjoy, people.
James: Okay, rushing right into it due to panicking...Seems in character for you by this point. Lazy bum.
The door to a large house slowly began to creak open, a man calling out, "Everett, I'm back." Quickly placing a bag down on the counter, he continued, "Decided to grab dinner on the way home, so hope you like Smokies' Deli." As he began to lay out the food, he called out again, "Everett, come on, let's eat!"
However, once more, he received no response causing him to raise a brow, as he began to walk down the nearby hallway, "Everett? ...Come on, respond already, I'm not dealing with this right now." Soon after reaching the end of the hall, he looked over a single door, groaning to himself as he muttered, "Everett, come out now…" After once again not receiving a response, he let out a groan, pushing the door open, "Everett, I've been calling-"
In that moment though, his face paled, as he took a few steps back. Inside the room was a nearby radio, which was currently playing opera music at it's max volume, and nearby...A boy, who didn't look much older than ten, was looking over some kind of creature on his bed. Red stained the sheets below it, and a number of tools laid off to the side, each a bright crimson on the tips. As this was happening, the boy continued to work on the being below him, humming along to the music, occasionally waving around the scalpel in his hands as if to try and mimic the tune.
He was silent at the scene before him, though eventually ran forward, pulling the boy off the creature, only to nearly vomit at the sight of a now dissected bright orange cat...The local cat he had seen so many times around the block, "Is there something wrong, father?"
The man slowly turned towards him in silence, soon gripping onto his shoulders, reluctantly asking, "...Everett...Why would you do this?"
The boy only stared at his father, an eerily stoic look on his face...As a grin slowly began to form in its place, reaching an inhuman size, as he innocently said, "I wanted to see if I could put it back together again."
"Testing, testing...One, two, three…"
Tapping the camera in front of him, Everett soon began to give it his signature smile, before waving at it, "Hello Everett, it's me, Everett, and today...I found quite the good specimen for experimentation." He stepped out of the way of the camera, revealing his usual set-up for his room, only with the distinct difference of a beautiful lady laying naked across a table, "Today, we'll be...Perfecting, miss Abigail Koba, and turn her into the best bodyguard I could ask for."
Placing on his mask, he continued, "You see, this lady failed to do the very job she was assigned; protecting Fernando's child, Hazel Kingston, at any and all costs...And she failed the second he was shot in the street." He shook his head at this, wagging his finger along side it, "You see, that's simply no good for our business. That kind of failure can spread some pretty nasty rumors...Which is exactly why I'm going to rectify my mistake right this moment-"
As he was saying this though, the camera, along with the man shook in their place, as a loud sound echoed throughout the room and building. Soon after, an alarm began blaring, as his pupils shrunk, "...Oh no."
Standing across from the door, Zetsu stared at it in silence, looking down at his fist, as he let out a deep breath, muttering to himself, "Okay, I can do this...Last time something came out, and all I did then was punch the wall...That should work, right?"
Letting out another breath, he began to charge towards the door, rearing his fist back as he let out a loud scream, before throwing his fist against with as much power as he could. After a moment, his eyes twitched as he let out a silent scream in his head, pulling his hand back and falling to the ground while clutching it in pain, cursing to himself, "God damn, that hurt like hell!"
As he clutched his hand, he looked up at the door with hope, only for it to falter upon noticing no type of steam was resonating from it like last time, as he groaned, "Great...The one time I do want this weird power to work, it doesn't…" He shook his head at this, standing up once more as he narrowed his eyes at the door, "Okay, let's try this again...No holding back this time!"
He let out one more scream, rushing towards the door and throwing his fist against it, flinching once more in pain as he fell back once more, letting out a pained groan, before quickly turning back towards the door. He let out a tired pant, as he began to stand up once more, "Okay...Punching isn't working...Maybe if I use my full body this time…"
The boy charged at the door once more, tackling it with the side of his body, only to fall back once again as he slammed his head against the ground, "Come on! Something has to work!" He slowly sat up, staring at the door with a tired look, mumbling to himself, "One more time wouldn't hurt…"
He began to slowly stand up, flinching to himself as he stared down the door, eventually moving his legs and rushing towards the door once more, letting out a determined scream, "I'm gonna get out this time!" He ducked his head down, screaming out once more, not noticing the door had begun to slide up, as he ran out the new opening, screaming, only for it to get cut short once his body slammed up against the wall outside, causing the scream to get cut short as he was thrown to the ground almost instantly.
Letting out another pained groan, Zetsu muttered to himself, "Don't forget to buy chocolate coins, mommy…" He let out a weak chuckle at this, only to instantly shake his head, as he looked around in confusion, "W-Wait a second…"
The boy slowly sat up, flinching to himself as he turned to the side, noticing he was now outside of his now opened room, "T-The door opened...I'm out…" His eyes widened, as a large smile began to take place on him, "I-I'm out...I'm free!"
He quickly stood up from his spot, leaning against the wall as he looked around quickly, "O-Okay, I don't know if this is intentional or not, but I need to find Tempest's room-" As he was saying this though, he heard a low groaning, causing his pupils to shrink, "...W-What...What was…"
His eyes moved to the side, turning to look at the room beside his own. The groaning began to grow louder, and louder, as he gulped, staying pressed up against the wall as he stared at the room in fear, "Don't...Don't tell me she wasn't the only one he…" As he was saying this though, his face paled at the sight of the creature that wandered out of the room. It was a young girl it seems, probably around his age, only her skin was now a decaying grey color, her white hair was long and stringy, and she almost completely naked. But perhaps the most disturbing detail were the girl's irregularly large claws, which seemed sharp enough to tear flesh with minimal effort.
Zetsu shook in his place, looking over the creature as he slowly began to move away, his eyes never leaving her. Eventually though, the girl straightened slightly, slowly turning towards him causing him to quickly turn and run from the creature, as a loud screech began to erupt from her.
Letting out a groan, Droog felt his eyes flicker open, as he slowly began to raise from his spot, only for his pupils to shrink upon putting force on his arm, as he let out a pained gasp, falling back to where he was laying, quickly gripping onto the arm with his other hand, "G-God dammit…"
"Droog!" A loud crash was heard coming from another room, with Sylvia rushing out from it with a plastic bag filled with ice in her hands, as she looked over him with a worried look, "What happened?! Are you okay?! C-Can you hear me-"
Grinding his teeth together, he growled out, "Yes, of course I can hear you! It's not like I'm deaf." He looked down at the ice, deadpanning, "Why do you have a bag of nearly melted ice?"
She shrunk back slightly at his words, as she looked down at the bag with an embarrassed expression, "W-Well...I noticed that nasty burn on your arm, so I got some ice for it...Then I thought I could make you some soup and...I left the bag on the counter while I cooked...I-I'm sorry! I can replace it!"
Raising a brow at her words, he rolled his eyes, asking, "No, I mean, why do you have one in the first place?"
The woman blinked at this, slowly pointing at his arm, "I wanted to cool that off for you...That looks really serious, and I thought maybe some ice would help it go down a little."
Flinching slightly at her words, he glanced off to the side, "Well then...I'll still take the bag...If only cause this actually does kind of sting."
She smiled at this, nodding quickly while hesitatingly moving the bag towards his arm, "R-Right...Careful, this may sting a bit-" As she said this, she accidentally dropped the bag onto his arm, causing him to let out a scream of pain, as she threw her hands to her mouth in shock, "I-I am so sorry! I...I didn't mean to-"
He rose a hand at this, as he continued to shake, reluctantly beginning to push down the bag soon after, "I-It's fine. It doesn't hurt that much honestly. Thanks for the ice."
Sylvia gave him a weak smile at this, slowly letting out a soft sigh, "You're welcome...You just relax today, okay? I'll take care of you for once." As she said this her eyes suddenly widened, as she quickly turned and rushed away from him, "Oh right, the soup! You wait right here, and don't move!"
As she ran off towards the kitchen, Droog only stared on with a look of confusion, though to even his own surprise, it soon formed a smile instead, as he began to lay back against the couch, "...That girl worries too much for her own good."
Once the woman was inside the kitchen, she looked over the stove at the pot, and frowned to herself, mumbling, "It's all cold now...That's not good...I-I could reheat it but…" She thought to herself for a moment, quickly turning the knob on the stove to turn it on as she sighed, "Okay, just for a minute…"
After a moment, she had turned it off, pouring it into a bowl with a nervous look, "This is the first time he's going to taste my cooking...I hope it's okay…" She continued stare at the oven, eventually frowning, "What if he doesn't like soup? What if he's allergic, or it's just not good...M-Maybe he's not hungry, and I have time to make something else!"
She nervously looked over at the doorway, "But I told him I made soup, and he's expecting soup...Plus I shouldn't waste his food!" After thinking to herself for a few seconds, she picked up the bowl in her hands, turning towards the other room with a sigh, "I shouldn't worry...Droog is super nice, so he'll accept this."
Letting out one more small breath, she began to walk towards the other room, gulping slightly upon noticing the couch as she stuttered out, "I-It's ready if you're hungry!" As she walked up to the couch, she offered the bowl to him, "H-Here you go! Enjoy!"
He glanced at the soup, reluctantly grabbing it with one hand and placing the soup on his chest. He stared at the oddly brown soup for a moment, eventually shrugging, as he took the spoon and had a sip, "...Not gonna lie, this...Isn't half bad."
Sylvia's eyes widened, a small smile beginning to form as she whispered, "I-It's not terrible? T-Thank you for the compliment! I'm glad you like it!" As he rolled his eyes, he continued to take sips from the soup, as she watched on with a smile, eventually beginning to move away from where she was and back to the kitchen, "I'll just grab you some water to wash that down…"
While walking into the kitchen, she pulled out a glass from the cupboard, looking down at it for a moment, slowly looking back towards the doorway with a small smile, thinking to herself, "I'm so glad he didn't hate it, and he's still eating it!" She hummed to herself while turning the nearby sink on, placing the cup under the faucet as she smiled to herself once more, "He looks better than he did earlier, and his breathing isn't as rough..."
She glanced down at the cup, her eyes widening upon the water overflowing from it as she quickly turned off the faucet, dumping some of the water down as well with a weak smile, "...Today...I'll make sure he continues to feel better."
A small, skinny boy was currently running down a nearby alleyway, glancing back in worry, as he worryingly muttered, "D-Did she see me? O-Oh god, I hope she didn't!"
"Trust me...I did."
Letting out a yelp, he fell to the ground soon after, glancing up in fear, only to see Nazira currently standing above him, a metal baseball bat in hand, as she glared down at him in annoyance. Spitting out the gum in her mouth, she tilted her head at him, "So Jimmy...Indigo's been tellin' me 'dat 'ya haven' been contactin' her much at all lately. We both know 'dat doesn' exactly fly with her all 'ta well."
Gulping, he begged soon after, "P-Please Nazira! W-We both know that woman is a psychopath! I-I can't trust her, and my mom doesn't either! P-Please let me off!"
She stared down at him, a solemn look on her face, as she let out a groan, "...I agree...'Dat bitch is a psycho." The man's face began to light up, "However," it abruptly sank, "I'm afraid I've gotta duty now. It ain' jus' me I'm lookin' afta' anymore, so sorry to say, but," she slowly raised the bat, a scowl forming on her face, "But I gotta give 'ya a warnin'."
Shaking his head, he threw up his hands, "W-Wait, please, sto-"
Nazira swung the bat, and moments later, a high-pitched scream echoed across the city.
Everett burst into the room, glancing around to see all of the green tubes now empty, the beings inside now missing, "How did this come to happen? It's not like anyone else knows my code…" Growling to himself, he turned his attention towards the screens, noticing the halls were now infested by all sorts of creatures, "...Hmm...Seems my experiments are trying to make a break for it…"
"Good, because they deserve to be free after what you did to them!"
Raising a brow at the voice, Everett slowly turned around, noticing a particular boy nearby, as he began to smile, "Why, hello there, Hazel. Guess you're the one to ruin things for me, huh?"
The boy stared at him with a frown, slowly shaking his head at his words, "How could you do this to them, Mister Everett? To those old, nice workers...To the boy and that electric girl...To Alexander...A-And even to Abby!"
He shrugged, giving the boy a grin as he stated, "Simple really...I wanted to see if I could improve such inferior beings...I think I did well in that department."
Hazel narrowed his eyes at this, soon yelling, "No you didn't! You turned all those innocent people into monsters! Y-You were even gonna do that to Abby if I didn't press the shiny red button!" He let out a huff, crossing his arms over his chest while looking away, "I'm gonna find papa and I'm gonna have him punish you for what you've done!"
The man began to smirk at him, letting out a low chuckle, "Hazel...Who do you think was the one who funded my little experiments?"
Flinching at this, he stuttered out, "W-Well...H-He's gonna stop those funds after I'm done talking with him! All these things you created, they're not gonna be here anymore, and no new ones will be coming from this place ever again!"
Everett rolled his eyes at his words, stating soon after, "That's not gonna happen. All you've done now is interfere with your father's business and set back my work by nearly ten years."
Hazel shrugged, looking away with a frown, "We'll see about that! I don't understand why you must make such scary monsters out of these people! What are you gonna do with them, create a petting zoo filled with scary monsters?"
Raising a brow at him in confusion, Everett soon began to grin sadistically, "No...I was doing something far more important," he let out a low chuckle, "...I was creating him an army, with that electric girl as the face of it. Nobody will ever mess with the Syndicate again, and in the process, we'll take everything we've ever wanted as well."
Staring at him for a moment, the boy furrowed his brows as he tilted his head, "Mister Everett...You sound like a mad scientist…" He then stuck his tongue out at him, "And I stopped your evil plan, so now that the monsters will soon be free from this place, they won't hurt anyone!" As he was saying this though, he noticed the grin only grew in size, "...Um...T-This is the part where you start crying in fear and anger that I ruined your plan...Why are you still smiling?"
Everett slowly shook his head at the boy, asking, "Hazel, I have a question for you...What do you think happens when you try to unleash an army of dangerous, war-made creatures onto a town full of unprepared people who are unaware of their upcoming presence?"
He was silent at this, looking up in thought for a few seconds, until his eyes completely widened as he screamed out, "O-Oh no! They're gonna eat the townspeople!" He looked around the room frantically at this, "W-We need to stop them, Mister Everett!"
Shaking his head, Everett simply said, "Nope, sorry kid, but really, this is gonna accomplish at least part of the plan; once the people of this city realize those monsters came from here, fear would spread far, to both the DeLucca Family and Specialized Syndicate as well. Sure, we'll lose the army in the process, but they won't know we don't have more. Honestly, I'm just gonna let things run their course."
Hazel whimpered a little at this, turning his attention back towards the screens as he frowned, "T-Then fine! I'll stop them all on my own then!" He turned towards the door, staring at it for a moment, before looking down at the ground, "...I'm too scared."
Chuckling at this, the man began to smirk, "Honestly, it's to be expected of the sheltered child of the most powerful man in Westfield. You may have all the bravado of your father," he narrowed his eyes with a wider smirk, "But you also have all the cowardice of your pathetic mother."
His eyes widened at this, slowly raising his head up to give the man a confused look, "M-My mom...You knew my momma?"
He nodded, an almost nostalgic look in his eyes, "Oh yes...She was quite the beautiful woman...Too bad she just had to run off the second things started getting rough."
Frowning at this, the boy slowly shook his head, "N-No...She couldn't have! She wouldn't leave me on purpose! I bet you did something to her, didn't you?! You hurt my momma!"
Chuckling at this claim, he shook his head soon after, "Sorry, but I didn't touch Amelie. Fernando would have never allowed it. No, when I began my experiments, your mother was...Less than supportive. In the end, all that happened was that she decided to abandon you, and this life the first chance she got."
Hazel's eyes started to water, only for him to instantly shake the tears away as he cried out, "No! Untrue! S-She wouldn't…" He soon fell to his knees, a saddened look on his face as he whimpered, "S-She's gonna come back for me...She wouldn't leave her son…"
He shrugged, giving him a mocking look, "Whatever, believe what you want." As he was saying this, he glanced at the screens, as he began to smirk at the sight of a few larger creatures slamming against a locked door, "Though...Looks like the closest thing you have to one is about to have her life snuffed out."
The boy twitched at this, looking up at the man with narrowed eyes, "W-What...N-No...Not Abby!" He instantly stood back up, giving him a look while quickly saying, "What's going on?! We need to help her!" Upon not receiving a response other than a grin, he let out an annoyed growl, turning away and stomping out the door.
Curled up in the corner of the couch, Cynthia was currently reading her book in silence, setting it down for a moment to grab onto her drink nearby on the coffee table, placing it down soon after and turning her attention back to her book. She picked it up into her hands, glancing over at the front door with a small frown, as she thought to herself, "I hope she's doing okay. I know I shouldn't worry about her when she's out, but it's hard not to."
Slowly, she turned to look out the window, noticing the day was still bright and many people were out, causing her to smile a weakly, "It's still daylight, and not much should happen during this time." She continued to stare, looking over the many people walking and shopping around, "I don't see any familiar men who work under my father...They must be searching in another area, which is good."
The girl was about to return to her book, but soon stopped after catching a flash of familiar blonde hair from the crowd of people outside. She slowly turned her gaze back towards the window, her eyes widening with her hands soon dropping the book to the ground, as she whispered to herself, "N-No...H-He can't be…"
Walking through the crowd of people was her father, as he was walking straight towards the building, causing Cynthia to move off of the couch, backing away from it while shaking her head in fear, "He rarely leaves his office...That can't be him…" She glanced over at the door, letting out a sigh of relief when she noticed it was fully locked as she began to back into the hallway and towards the nearby bedroom.
As she walked into the room, she closed the door, locking it as she took a step back and took a seat onto the bed, her body shaking slightly as she let out a shaky breath, looking down at her hands with a frown, "I must be seeing things...That couldn't have been him-"
These thoughts were interrupted by the sound resembling a gunshot, and subsequently, the crashing of wood. Her pupils shrank in fear, and she quickly covered her mouth before she could let out a scream, "He found me! He has a gun and he's inside!" She quickly looked around the room, her eyes instantly darting towards the window as she rushed over to it, looking down with a flinch, "I may have enough time to run-"
As she was saying this, she heard a knock on the door, causing her to go silent, "...Cynthia? Are you in there?"
The girl stayed silent, slowly moving away from the window and towards the bed, slowly kneeling down and crawling under it. She let out a small breath once she was completely underneath, her eyes staring straight at the bottom of the closed door as she kept her hand over her mouth. As she was doing this though, the shot of another gunshot rang off, and soon after, the door was kicked open, revealing a certain man standing at the door, holding his sizzling gun up high, "I know you're hiding here, Cynthia."
She flinched at this, keeping completely quiet as she attempted to lower herself even more into the ground, keeping her eyes on him while biting back a whimper. As she was doing this though, she noticed a pair of hands grip onto the bottom of the bed, and before she could do anything about it, he flipped it over, revealing the girl underneath, as he growled down at her, "There you are."
Cynthia let out a shocked gasp, backing away slightly, before turning away and pushing herself up to her feet, attempting to run from the man, before feeling a hand grip around her leg, pulling her back. She tried to let out a scream, but it seemed to have fallen silent, as the man gripped onto her hair soon after, pulling her head up and causing her to let out a silent gasp. She shook where she stood, as Kiriyama moved his other hand off her leg and towards her cheek, "Did you really think you could leave, you stupid girl?"
The girl stared at him with her eyes completely wide in fear, as her breathing became heavy, whimpering out, "P-Please...D-Don't take me b-back…"
His eyes slowly looked over the girl, growling at her before gripping onto her shirt, "So, you've started to dress like that whorish girl as well...How disgusting. Seems you've really taken a liking to her...Perhaps too much of one." He began to pull her closer, "I'm guessing you're starting to act like her too. Too much of a pathetic girl to give yourself to my associates, and yet you probably gave yourself up to her, didn't you?"
She flinched at this, her gaze looking off to the side as she whispered, "I-I am very sorry, father...I-I was selfish…"
He nodded, a smirk beginning to form on his face, "I know you were. In fact, it's rather obvious that you're the most selfish girl to have ever even been born in Westfield. Even that bitch, Indigo has more redeemable qualities than you." He began to move closer to her, whispering, "But don't worry, I'm not gonna let you rot. In fact, once we get back and you do what I wish with my men, I might even begin to allow some privileges again...Do you understand me?"
The girl was silent, her body shaking and her eyes shut, but before she could even say anything, she felt the man pull her forward, as her eyes slammed open. His lips had been pressed to her own, as she quickly attempted to push him off of her, but every attempt to force him off was met with nothing but failure, as his grip tightened on her arm, as he pushed her back. Tears slowly began to run down her cheek, as he parted from her, causing her to let out a pained gasp, quickly placing a hand over her mouth as she stared at him in horror, mumbling out, "W-Why would…"
The man stared the girl down, growling out, "...You truly are a depraved, miserable little cunt, Cynthia," as he was saying this, he placed a hand on her thigh, as he slowly began to run in up her leg, "...But don't worry, daddy still loves you."
Her eyes twitched slightly, as her breath hitched while she struggled in his hold with a weak whimper, "He's not stopping...He's actually going to...Oh no, I'm...I'm so sorry, N-" Her breath was halted upon noticing a certain figure in the doorway, "...N-Nazira?"
However, Kiriyama heard this, as he pulled back, "The hell did you-"
"Hey, get 'da hell off of her!" In that instant, he felt an immense amount of pain in the back of his head, before feeling it once more as he was sent to the ground. He tried to get up, but soon after was knocked down for a final time, as he laid on the ground in pain. A red liquid slowly began to drip from his head, as he let out a low groan on the floor.
Cynthia's eyes were wide as she panted, looking up to see Nazira standing near him, a wooden bat in her hands, as she whispered, "You came back…" She let out a small sob, quickly lunging forward and wrapping her arms around the girl as she whimpered, "T-Thank you, Nazira…"
She was silent, as she stared down at the man below them with narrowed eyes, though she eventually wrapped an arm around her, pulling her close, "...I'm sorry for not bein' here earlier, Cynthia...I could have stopped him before he…"
The girl instantly shuddered at those words, nestling herself into her while whispering, "You're here now...I-I'm safe now…"
Nazira continued to stare at the man on the floor, pulling back from her after a moment, "No, we're not. Now 'dat he knows we're here, we have to find somewhere new to hide...I'm sorry for gettin' 'ya wrapped up in 'dis-"
However, her words were quickly cut off by Cynthia planting a kiss on her lips, pulling her close once more, before reluctantly letting go, "No need to apologize...You did nothing but good for me, and..." She found herself unable to finish her sentence, though eventually looked up at the taller girl with hopeful eyes, "...I love you for that, Nazira."
A blush began to settle on her face at this, though she quickly snapped out of it upon hearing the man below them groan, "...We have to get going."
The girl nodded at this, as the two quickly made their way out of the room.
The sound of loud footsteps echoed around the halls, as Zetsu ran through them as fast as he could, looking around the sides for any sign of the room his friend was in, as he muttered to himself, "Please be nearby, Tempest...Please be safe too…"
He groaned to himself while moving forward, glancing back with an uneasy look, "There's those other strange creatures roaming around too...Hopefully none of them have found her before I have…" As he said this, he bit his lip while looking ahead, "N-No...Even if they did, she could handle anything...She's probably searching for me right this minute-"
As he was saying this though, a loud of a loud explosion erupted through the halls causing the ground to shake all around him, "W-What the heck was that?!" Soon after he said this though, at the end of the hall, a creature was thrown from behind the corner, hitting the wall and knocking it out instantly, as it collapsed to the floor soon after. His pupils shrunk at this, as he stared at it with his jaw dropped, whispering, "Oh my god…"
As he was saying this, something slowly rounded the corner...A beastly girl, wearing a thick set of clothing and weilding a set of claws. She slowly turned her attention towards Zetsu, only for her eyes to widen, "...Zetsu?"
He stared at her in silence, though eventually his eyes widened upon registering who she was, as he stuttered out, "Tempest! Y-You're okay! Oh my god, you're...You're here!" He quickly rushed over to her, placing a hand over hers as he let out a breath of relief, "I was so worried…I-I can't believe you're actually here- I...I was looking, but I didn't think..."
She stared at him with a solemn look, eventually saying, "...Tempest decided some things after Zetsu…" She glanced off to the side for a moment, before stating, "But...Zetsu was right...She can not let this stop her. She still knows she is monster, and not worth forgiveness...But she will also never allow herself to do what those men say ever again."
Zetsu was quiet at this, though smiled as he gave her a nod, "That's...That's good, Tempest...I uh...I also realized that even if we are in this mess...We have to keep fighting. Not just you, but me as well." He looked down at his hands with a small frown, "We both know I have some kind of fire power, and I'm going to try and harness it...I haven't been successful with bringing it out yet, but I'm not gonna give up if it means it'll help the both of us."
After a moment, he glanced around the hall with an uneasy look, "Speaking of getting out...We really should look for some type of exit. This is a good chance to leave, and with all these other experimented creatures lurking around…" As he was saying this, he felt something grab onto his leg, causing him to let out a yelp at the creature on the floor, only for Tempest to swiftly kick it in the head, causing it to let go of him, "...Y-Yeah...We really need to get out of here!"
Hazel was currently jogging through the hall, as he shook slightly to himself, he let out a shaky breath while whispering to himself, "I'll be fine! I-I just need to find Abby's room and make those monsters leave it alone!" As he said this, his expression turned grim, as he muttered, "H-How will I accomplish that?"
He instantly shook his head at this, as he looked ahead, "No! I can do anything, and I will find a way to save her if it's the last thing I do!" He then smirked to himself, "I am a powerful magician after-" He stopped himself upon noticing he was still wearing a hospital gown, as he flinched, "...I-I can still do anything!"
He continued to jog through the hallway, stopping in his steps to take a left turn, as his eyes widened upon seeing a large, strange creature. It was over seven feet tall and incredibly obese, wearing no clothes which caused his decaying grey skin to be shown in full view. Some pieces of him seemed to be peeling, showcasing it's marshy green organs. However, the most notable sight on the beast was its neck, which had become bloated, to a point of where it was the size of its own head, as it shaked and jiggled with every step.
The boy stared at the beast in horror, placing a hand over his mouth as he let out a disgusted gag, whimpering to himself while taking a small step back, "S-So gross and big…" As he was saying this though, the large man turned its attention towards Hazel, causing it to form a face of confusion, "...U-Um...H-Hello m-mister monster man…M-My name is Hazel and..." He let out a terrified scream, as he turned to run away, "Please don't eat me!"
In that moment, the beast's pupils shrunk, as it let out a loud roar that oddly resembled that of a low guttural growl, as it began to chase after Hazel with surprising speed. Hazel didn't dare look back, as he let out a terrified scream, "R-Really don't eat me! I-I don't taste good!" He squeezed his eyes shut as he continued to run as fast as he can, "A-Anybody please help-"
He was cut short when his body slammed against something hard, as he fall off with a harsh thud, letting out a pained groan while opening his eyes to see he had ran straight into a wall, "...What kind of dummy would place a wall right here?" His eyes widened once he heard another growl, as he pulled himself off the floor, flinching a little at a pain in his side, "N-No...G-Gotta keep running for my life!"
The boy tried to move, though he was unable to as his eyes twitched slightly once he heard the large footsteps coming closer, as he whimpered out, "N-No...No...No...No! P-Please no! D-Don't eat me, mister monster man!" He let out a loud yelp upon noticing the creature was looming over him, trapping him against the wall as tears began to pour down the side of his face, stuttering out, "I-I'll do anything, just don't...D-Don't k-kill me! I-I promise to be a nicer person, a-and I won't steal too many coins from A-Abby! P-Please let me go!" The beast slowly began to open its mouth, showcasing it's bright yellow teeth and foul smelling breath, as the boy continued to shudder, "...P-Please don't-"
"Stop begging, Hazel." Hazel's eyes widened at this, as he and the monster turned around. Standing not too far away was a tall, beautiful woman, who was now wearing a large blue gown and had short, messy black hair. However, while the hair mostly covered her eyes, her glowing red eyes could still be made out, "...And more importantly, what is going on, and what is this thing, and the many other ones I passed on the way here?"
Hazel only stared at her in awe, a bright smile on his face upon seeing her, "A-Abby…" After a moment, he let out a scream, "Questions later! Save me from being eaten first!"
As he was saying this, the creature let out a loud roar once more, before rushing towards the woman now in front of it. In response, she quickly sidestepped out of the way of the beast, causing it to run past her. In that moment, she quickly kicked out it's feet, causing it to fall to the ground, landing on it's large stomach, which bursted upon hitting the ground, causing a flood of green blood to pour out of it. Letting out another roar, it quickly got up, and turned towards Abigail, letting out a low growl as it slowly approached her.
Attempting to bite down onto her neck, it launched itself towards her, only for her to quickly dodge out it's way, throwing a fist towards it's bloated throat. However, upon contact, the beast's eyes widened in pain, as it shook for a moment...Only for the area to explode from the pressure, causing green to spray all across the girl's face and the wall behind her. It shook in its place for a moment, only for it to fall backwards to the ground moments later. Upon impact, it went completely limp, as it let out one last growl, before completely succumbing to it's injuries.
Wiping the blood off her face and throwing it to the ground, Abigail began to shiver, "That...Isn't getting out of my head anytime soon." Coughing slightly, she turned towards where Hazel had been standing, "You okay, Ha-" However, to her shock, she was cut off by the boy running up and wrapping his arms around her, "...Um...What are you doing?"
The boy only shook his head, tightening his arms around her as he whimpered, "I-I'm so happy you're alive, Abby! I-I saw what Mister Everett was gonna do, a-and those monsters...I-I thought you were gonna…" He let out a sob, as he muttered, "P-Please don't leave me all alone…"
Staring on in silence, she slowly began to smile, patting the top of his head, "Don't worry Hazel...I won't do that ever again. I promise."
Staring up at a large screen in front of him that showcased various different camera videos from the building, Fernando stared on with a neutral expression, eventually letting out a groan, pinching the bridge of his nose, "...What the hell was Everett thinking this time?"
"You call sir?" His eyes twitched slightly at the words he had heard, as he slowly turned around to see a certain man standing in the doorway, his white jacket now a bright crimson, a sizzling pistol in his right hand, as his grin began to grow, "Because if you did, I'm more than happy to explain whatever you want explained."
Fernando looked over him, before deadpanning, "Then explain the obvious to me, Everett. What is going on and why?"
He smiled at his boss with a blissful look on his face, "Well, your son made the decision to release all of our little experiments, meaning we have completely lost control of our army before I was done implanting the chips necessary to make them bend to our will."
His eyes twitched at this, moving a hand up to his forehead to rub it as he let out a small groan, "...That stupid little brat…" He looked back up at the screen with a sigh, "Speaking of him, where exactly is he at, Everett?"
Everett stared at him, eventually shrugging, "Don't know. He ran off to find Abigail, but after I let her go, she probably went and found him."
The man nodded, as he continued to stare at the screen, muttering to himself, "You better hope that's the case." He turned towards him with narrowed eyes, "Now, for the final question...How exactly are you going to clean up this mess?"
Smirking at his boss, he easily waved away the question, "Oh, that's easy. We could release all the creatures out onto the streets so they can cause mayhem, and as long as we pay the police a little more than usual, we'll get away with it, and in the process, we'll intimidate everyone in the entirety of Westfield into believing we have an army of monsters at our command...Which we would if it weren't for Hazel, but hey, something is better than nothing, sir!"
Fernando was silent at this, thinking to himself for a few seconds, "...That may be our only choice now, since it'll be better than keeping them in our home." He then grinned to himself at a thought, "Plus, it'll show those other two mobs just how powerful we really are compared to them."
Everett began to smile widely at this, clapping his hands together as gleefully exclaimed, "Splendid! Then how about we get to it, sir?" He nodded in agreement, turning his attention to a nearby door, as he slowly began to approach it in interest, a smirk growing on his face.
Leaning up against the wall of an alley, Sanjo stared out at the crowd outside in silence, looking through each person that passed by, before letting out a sigh, "Where could those two be...Probably off hiding." He growled a little at that, muttering, "Zetsu's probably where they are...Wherever the hell they are."
As he said this, he narrowed his eyes in thought, "If those two cops wanted the freak, then why take the boy? That doesn't make much sense…" He was quiet for a moment, eventually letting out a groan, "Whatever the damn case is...Those two were the last people who associated with him, so they have to know...And I still need to get my revenge on them for breaking into my house!"
The man slammed his fist against the wall at this, letting out an annoyed grunt while glaring at seemingly nothing, "This is something I need to do on my own…But maybe those goons wouldn't be so bad. Despite Kiyo's bullshit, it wouldn't hurt to have some support during this…"
Sanjo picked himself up from the wall, beginning to walk out of the alley as he hummed to himself, "I'll consider it, but for now I have to keep looking."
Neon green blood splattered against a nearby wall, as Abigail slowly grinded her foot against the disgusting creature below her. It attempted to swipe at her once again, only for her to swiftly end it's life before it could. Letting out a low groan, she nodded at something nearby, as Hazel slowly wandered out from behind a corner, as he held himself close, "H-How many more monsters are there in here?!"
She growled to herself, cracking her knuckles as she moved forward, "Don't know...How many people have worked here over the years?"
The boy furrowed his brows at this, following her while counting his fingers, "Um...A thousand?" His pupils shrunk at this, as he whispered to himself, "Maybe it wasn't a very good idea to release them…"
Her eyes shot open, turning to him in shock, "Wait...You were the one who released them?!"
"Small boy was one who released them?!"
The two quickly snapped their heads towards the sounds of the voice, noticing a beastly looking girl and lanky boy were staring at them from the other side of the hallway. It was quiet for a moment, as Hazel glanced off to the side, "Um...Yes..."
Tempest slowly began to growl at the boy, as Zetsu narrowed his eyes at the two, pointing a finger accusingly, "Hey, you're the same people who captured us and had us thrown in here...It's because of you two that we've- Well, Tempest has had to deal with nothing but pain and torture!"
Abigail narrowed her eyes at him, growling out, "Hey, it was just my job! It wasn't anything personal, I just prefer living to see the next day over risking my own head for two people I don't even know."
Hazel nodded at this, as he frowned, "And I only wanted my papa to give me some type of praise! It...It never happened though…"
Zetsu kept his eyes narrowed, scoffing out, "Yeah, and meanwhile my friend here was experimented on, was forced to kill out of her own free will, and I was threatened with a slow and painful death."
Tempest's eyes slowly began to glow, as she raised up her hands, revealing electricity forming in them, "You both shall not be allowed to go on unpunished for actions! Tempest shall deliver the pain that had been delivered on us!"
Abigail growled at the girl, raising up her hands in a defensive pose, "Yeah, well I ain't letting you near us, kid! Even try to hurt Hazel, and I'll smash you through the damn wall!"
Flinching at her words, Zetsu took a small step forward as he glared at the girl, "I won't let you hurt her again!"
Hazel stepped behind Abigail, looking over the two as he shook his head, "Abby...Is fighting them a good idea? W-What if they hurt you?!"
She glanced down at him for a moment, as she stated, "It doesn't matter if they hurt me, as long as I don't let them hurt you."
He gave her a worried look, slowly looking down as he took a few steps back, "Okay, but be careful-"
His words were cut off when the entire hallway began to shake, as the four of them looked around in confusion. Once the motion had stopped, it was quiet, until Zetsu cleared his throat, "Um...What was that?"
Abigail was silent, a look of realization beginning to form on her face, "...Oh god…"
Running down a large alley, Cynthia and Nazira came to a stop just at the end of, with the latter glancing out of their cover to see a large crowd of people, all surrounding a surprisingly beautiful mansion compared to the grim look everywhere else. The former stared up at it in curiosity, before slowly turning to the girl beside her, "Who lives in this place?"
She turned to her for a moment, eventually growling out, "Some bastard called Fernando and his brat, Hansel, or somethin'. 'Dink he's affiliated with the Syndicate in some way."
Nodding at this, Cynthia glanced back at the mansion with a hum, "Fernando...I think my father mentioned him a few times…" She looked away from it, shaking her head, "If he's involved in what my father is involved with, then it may be wise to stay away from this building."
Nazira let out a groan, muttering, "I get 'dat, but...We need 'ta get as far away from where I lived as possible, and 'da only way to get to the Indigo Cartel building from here is to walk through Crime Alley." As she was saying this though, she noticed Cynthia flinch back, her eyes now wide, "...Cyn?"
The girl shook for a moment, slowly averting her gaze away from her while whispering, "You're taking me to...The Indigo Cartel...A rival to my father's business…" She bit her lip, shaking her head slowly, "N-No...P-Please don't take me there. They'll-"
She interrupted the girl by giving her a stern look, "They won' do anythin' 'ta 'ya. While 'dey know 'ya exist, they 'don know what 'ya look like, and I plan 'ta keep it 'dat way. And if anybody tries anyding' on 'ya, I punch 'deir damn teeth out."
Cynthia slowly turned her gaze back to her, frowning softly, "Y-Yes, but...B-But what if they do find out who I am? I...I don't want to be near this type of thing…"
Nazira's expression slowly began to soften, as she let out a low sigh, "...Look, I know 'ya ain' comfortable with 'dis sort of 'ding...But I jus' don' know what 'ta do now. My main priority is keepin' 'ya safe, but...If 'ya genuinely 'dink we should go somewhere else...I'll listen."
She stared up at her in silence, slowly scooting closer to lean against her while mumbling, "N-No...We can go to the Indigo Cartel if that's what you think is best…" She wrapped her arms around her, whispering soon after, "I'm...I'm sorry for being such a burden to you…"
Quickly shaking her head, she wrapped her currently free hand around her, as she began 'ta smile, "If 'ya seriously 'dink 'ya're a burden 'ta me, 'den we clearly need 'ta spend more time gettin' 'ta know each otha'."
Her eyes widened a bit at this, though she soon began to smile a little as she looked up at her, "I...Wouldn't mind spending more time together for that…Thank you-" As she was saying this, a booming sound abruptly echoed across the area, causing both girl's eyes to widen. Cynthia taking a step behind the woman while whispering, "What...Is happening?"
Nazira quickly turned towards the noise, her hand's grip on the baseball bat tightening, as she slowly looked out towards the area again. Not too far away, the doors to a certain mansion were beginning to open.
Walking through a crowd, Sanjo stopped upon hearing the echo, turning his attention towards where a large mansion stood, with his brows quirking up as he noticed the doors beginning to open, "Opening up the doors for once...What do these losers think they're doing?"
As he was saying this, he slowly began to approach the doors...Only for his eyes to widen upon noticing something. Slowly stepping out of the door, a thin, dangly woman with grey skin and sharp fingers began to look out at the crowd, as it slowly began to speak among themselves at the sight. She stared out in silence, as it slowly began to look over those in front of it with hollow eyes...Only for it to abruptly let out an ear-piercing screech, as it ran forward, jumping onto the man at the front of the crowd. His screams quickly echoed across the area, as the woman began to swipe and slash at his chest, as even more screaming began to follow.
Sanjo stared on shock and horror, watching as the crowd of people immediately began to run away from the mansion, as he muttered under his breath, "What the hell is that thing...So this is why they've been laying low all this time…"
As the woman slowly wiped her claws off against the hard pavement, causing a line of crimson to be drawn, she slowly began to refocus on the now fleeing crowd, letting out another screech. And moments later, another creature began to exit from the building...And another, and another, and eventually, an entire horde of sprinting beasts began to exit as they ran in all directions towards the many people all around them.
Taking a few steps away from his spot, he looked on in fear, stuttering out, "T-There's so many...So many of these...These beasts!" As he was saying this though, a small, gremlin-like creature with pale red skin began to sprint towards the man, letting out a series of screeches, before jumping towards him. In response, he threw his fist forward, unknowingly hitting the beast in the neck hard enough to instantly crack it's neck, sending it falling to the ground.
Sanjo stared down at the creature with a shudder, swiftly turning and running away from the scene, muttering, "I have to get out of here..."
Nazira could only look on in horror, pulling Cynthia close to her and then pulling up the bat, having it at the ready. More and more people ran past the two screaming in terror, only for a single man to abruptly be pushed to the ground by an abnormally large, winged beast, as it quickly began to tear into his throat, causing him to begin screaming in pain, as he reached out towards the two girls, "H-Help me-"
Before he could even finish what he was saying though, he let out another scream as the beast dug it's clawed feet into his back, flying off with him as his screams began to echo throughout the area. Cynthia's widened eyes twitched as her body shook in fear, shrinking back slightly while whimpering out, "W-We're not going to s-survive...This is h-how our lives end…"
She shook her head, as she raised the bat in a defensive manner, "Stop talkin' like 'dat! I'm not gonna let anyding' happen 'ta 'ya!"
The girl shook once more, tears beginning to run down her cheeks, soon saying, "These aren't normal people you can simply fight, Nazira! T-These creatures are...They're monsters! You can't do anything to them-" As she was saying this though, she noticed something. A lanky woman standing in front of the two, her grey skin and blood-stained claws distinctively standing out, "T-This is i-it..."
Nazira was caught off guard by her words, turning around, only to be met with the woman jumping at her with a screech. She threw down her claws, ripping through her shirt and tearing skin, which caused Nazira to let out a scream of pain. However, in her attempt to swipe at her again, Nazira was able to pull up the bat, using it as a shield against the claws. The beast let out a screech, as she began to push against the bat, gradually lowering her head, and her rather large teeth towards her. Nazira continued to attempt and push the woman back, but gradually, she felt the woman getting closer and closer, her teeth gradually lowering to sink their teeth into her throat. Her eyes began to go wide in horror, as she felt the beast's breath pushing against. And in one last moment, the beast released the last of her strength, throwing the bat to the side and throwing her head down to tear into her.
Letting out a scream, Nazira was prepared for the worst. However, this never came, as just before the beast could sink its teeth into her, an abrupt punch to the beast's face threw it off of her. Nazira stared up in shock, slowly glancing up to see Cynthia staring down at the beast, as she jumped on top of it, a look of fury on her face, as she began to throw punch after punch at the creature, repeatedly hitting it, as she screamed out, "I will not let you hurt her, you rotten beast!"
However, as the beast continued to get pummeled, she eventually threw up her clawed hand, grabbing hold of Cynthia's arm before it could strike her, letting out another screech...In that moment though, the screech was quickly cut off by a bat, smashing against her skull and quickly shattering it's frail head. It shook and twitched for a moment, only for it to go limp moments later. Nazira stood above the beast with the bat in hand, as she stared down at Cynthia, giving her a slight smile, "See...Told 'ya...We could do it…"
Cynthia let out a few deep breaths, eventually letting out a sigh of relief as she gave her a weak smile, "Y-Yes, but...H-Hopefully we won't have to do that again…" As the girl began to stand up, her pupils shrunk upon hearing a loud roar echo throughout the area, causing her to stutter out, "W-We should run now!" The roar echoed once more as the two ran off in the opposite direction of it.
Kneeling beside the couch, Sylvia stared at her friend with a worried frown, staying silent for a moment, before asking, "Are you sure you don't need anything else? I could fluff your pillow, massage your feet, give you a sponge bath, or even get you some more ice for your arm!"
He rolled his eyes, simply saying, "Sylvia, I'm fine. Trust me, you've done enough."
The woman let out a sigh, slowly shaking her head, "B-But...But there has to be something else I could do to help! You're injured, and it's my job to help you recover from it, and to feel completely comfortable, so please...Allow me to help with anything."
The man gave her a look, as he deadpanned soon after, "You get that you shouldn't tell a male that you'd do anything to make them more comfortable, right?"
She gave him a confused look, tilting her head while mumbling, "Why is that such a bad-" She stopped herself instantly at that, her face brightening up as she squeaked out, "D-Droog! Y-You know what I mean!"
Letting out a chuckle, he gave her a smile, "There, you made me laugh. I'm honestly perfectly comfortable now."
Sylvia looked away from him, muttering, "I'm glad you found that funny-" She flinched upon hearing a loud shriek, causing her to blink while glancing towards the television, "You have the volume up a bit too loud, Droog…"
He rose a brow, "The thing only just started, nobody's even screaming yet."
Giving him a confused look, the woman tapped her chin, "But...What was that sound just now?" As she said this, another series of screams were heard outside, causing her eyes to widen, "I-It's outside…" She stood up from her spot, slowly walking towards the window and pulling back the drapes. She let out a gasp at the sight, whispering, "Oh my god…"
Everett let out a mocking laugh, as he stared at the screen before him, "My goodness, things are going even better than expected, Fernando! It seems within minutes, a multitude of the beasts have already begun spreading throughout the entire sector!"
The man beside him nodded, a wicked grin on his face as he chuckled, "All these pathetic peasants are too scared to challenge them, so at this rate everyone in the sector will fear us." He turned to his partner with a genuine smile, "Even if this wasn't initially part of the plan, good job, Everett."
Blushing slightly at the man's compliment, the doctor suddenly began to smile happily, "Oh my gosh, thank you so much, sir! Your words make me so happy!"
He gave him a nod, turning his attention back towards the screen with a smirk, "If things keep going as well as they have been, you'll be earning more than just a few compliments." At this, Everett jumped from his seat with glee, running towards the door with a large grin on his face, leaving Fernando alone in the room. He focused his attention on the screen, as a frown slowly formed on his face, "...Hazel...You better be okay...And if you aren't, I'll personally make sure Everett pays for setting you up for failure…"
Shaking his head at this, he continued to simply stare at the screen in silence.
Running out of the main door of the mansion, the group of four stopped to stare at the sight before them. The entire area was filled with chaos, as the people around were frantically running around screaming, as various different creatures chased after them. As this was happening the four simply stared on, Zetsu soon muttering out, "When we're finally free from this prison...There's an outbreak of monsters terrorizing the city…"
Tempest could only stare on, as she slowly lowered her head. Without a second though, she grabbed onto Zetsu, pulling him away from the scene, "We need to leave now, Zetsu! We can't waste our chances of escape!"
He quickly nodded at this, allowing her to pull him away as he sighed, "Right, l-let's get out of here!"
As the two ran off from the scene, Abigail and Hazel could only stare on, their expressions a mix of both horror and shock at the scene before them. After a moment though, the former began to lower her head, walking down the stairs of the building. The boy watched her for a moment, slowly beginning to follow behind with a frown, "A-Abby...Where are you going?"
She turned back to Hazel with a stone-faced look, "...Hazel, I obviously can't go back in there now. Everett was going to experiment on me it seems, and...If I go back in, he'll probably finish the job."
He flinched at this, looking down for a moment, "But...What about me? You...You promised you wouldn't leave me…"
Abigail stared at him, stating, "I'm still gonna be looking after you, Hazel, and whenever something happens, I'll always be there to protect you. I just...Can't be in there though. Not when it's been made clear your Dad and Everett want me to become their slave to whatever they wish."
Hazel was silent at this, moving down the steps once more with a frown, "...Can I come with you? After today I...I don't really wanna see papa and Mister Everett…"
Her eyes widened slightly, asking soon after, "But...This is your home. You've spent your whole life here, everything you own is here...Do you really want to give that up?"
He glanced back at the building, before turning towards her with a weak smile, "I spent most of my life trying to escape from it, and I don't need anything...I just wanna be with you."
A look of confusion seemed to have permanently settled on Abigail's face by this point, though eventually, a warm smile formed on her face, as she reached out, placing her hand in front of him, "...Then are you ready to piss off your dad with me?"
The boy grinned at her words, quickly grabbing a hold of her hand with his as he nodded, "Yeah! We'll make him super mad!" She let out a slight chuckle at this, as he ran forward, pulling her alongside him.
Slamming open the doors to the DeLucca mansion, Sanjo let out a few tired pants, quickly making his way inside while muttering to himself, "Hopefully he'll listen to what I have to say this time-"
"Hey Sanjo. Enjoy the carnage outside?"
The man froze at the voice, looking up to see a familiar man standing near the door, a lit cigarette resting in his crooked mouth, as he narrowed his eyes, "Kiyo…"
He let out a chuckle, smirking at the man, "The boss is upstairs, though he's in a pretty cranky mood." He spit out the cigarette, crushing it on the floor soon after, "...You know, we plan to do the job soon. This is your last chance to get in on this."
Rolling his eyes, he began to walk past him with a scoff, "Thanks, but no thanks. I'm not interested, and I have more important things to deal with." Kiyoyuki stared on, as he oddly began to smile at his words, causing Sanjo to shiver slightly from the oddly creepy look to it, "...I'm just gonna go see the boss now…"
He quickly walked up the stairs, not looking back once as he made his way up to the familiar office door, giving the man guarding it a look, "Let me in, I have urgent news."
The guard gulped slightly, stuttering out, "W-Well, he's not in the best of-" He stopped himself upon noticing the man's look, as he stepped to the side, muttering, "G-Go on ahead…"
Sanjo nodded at this, opening up the doors with his eyes widening at the sight, "Man, you look like you got banged up pretty bad...What happened?"
Standing nearby, Kiriyama was staring out the window at the destruction of the city below him, a fresh set of bandages wrapped over the top of his head. He let out a growl, turning to Sanjo in anger, "What do you want now, Sanjo?"
He stared at him silently, walking in closer with a deep sigh, "There's...A shit ton of monsters out there, boss...They came from the Syndicate's place. That's why they were laying low for so long, they were creating those things, and now...We're all screwed."
Grinding his teeth, the man screamed out, "Would you shut up about that! I don't care about a bunch of monsters, I'll just send out men with guns to deal with them whenever they get spotted, they're a temporary infestation at most, and the fact you're falling into the Syndicate's little scheme is bloody pathetic!"
His eyes twitched for a moment, as he muttered out, "Jeez, what the hell is your problem?"
Kiriyama moved towards the larger man, poking him in the chest while growling out, "My problem is that my little bitch of a daughter ran off with that friend of hers like the whore she is, and not only that, her friend gave me a damn concussion! Not only that, but I have no way of tracking them at all now, so how am I supposed to find them exactly, Sanjo?!"
Sanjo stared down at him, frowning to himself as he stepped away from him, "...No clue, but it doesn't matter now. She ain't gonna last out there with all those things roaming around, so she's pretty much gone."
His eyes twitched, screaming out, "How is that supposed to make me feel better?! The hell are my associates supposed to do now! It's not like I have anyone else to use to gain a higher position of power! I'm screwed now, don't you get that you retarded bastard?!"
The man growled at this, as he turned away from him, "Well that ain't my problem. I still need to find my kid."
Kiriyama let out a scoff, glaring at him in disinterest, "Oh man up you big baby, nobody gives a shit about your son!" The man came to a stop at this, as he continued, "Oh, my son got kidnapped by a few pathetic cops...Big deal! There is far more important business going on than anything related to that bastard son of yours, and the sooner you get that through your sick skull, the sooner I might actually be able to make use of you again."
Sanjo gritted his teeth while slowly turning towards the smaller man, "What, did I strike a nerve? That sure took a lot of effort for someone as idiotic as yourself! The fact I haven't replaced you yet is astonishing to say the least, and really, get over yourself already-"
The man's words were cut off when a hand grabbed hold of his neck, lifting him up from the ground and pushing him up against the nearby window, as Sanjo let out a growl, "What exactly were you saying to me? I want you to repeat it, Kiriyama."
Struggling in the man's grip, he let out a series of coughs, as his face quickly began to pale, "...Y-You...W-Were always...P-Pathetic…" The larger man narrowed his eyes at this, "...A-And your son…" Kiriyama began to give him a sadistic smirk, "H-He's nothing...B-But the bastard son...O-Of the biggest freak in all of Westfield...N-Not even counting...Y-Your whore of a wife…"
Sanjo's widened eyes twitched rapidly at his words, as his grip on his throat tightened, his hand soon was engulfed in flames, as he slammed the man up against the window with a furious expression, screaming out, "I've had just about enough of your shit! You think I'm pathetic," he began to smirk sadistically, his grin morphing to a size almost inhuman, "Then how come I can do this!"
He pulled back his arm, slamming the man against the glass...It shattered, and in the next instant...Sanjo let go. Kiriyama was sent flying backwards out of the window, his eyes wide in shock, as he slowly fell towards the pavement below. Everything seemingly slowed down in that instant, as he realized exactly what he was approaching, and for the first time in his life...Kiriyama felt fear.
With a hard slam against the ground, a gush of blood was sent flying into the air, as Sanjo did nothing but stare down at the man below. His arms had been bent, and his legs crushed by the impact of the ground. And his head...Completely snapped back, as he looked soulessly into the sky above, his body twitching for just a moment, before...It went still…
Kiriyama DeLucca, the don of the DeLucca Family Mob, and perhaps the most powerful person in Westfield...Was dead.
Sanjo only stared on in silence, slowly shaking his head with a huff, "Ain't nobody gonna miss you now, Kiriyama...Enjoy the depths of hell."
"Sanjo just killed the boss!"
His eyes slammed up, as the man slowly turned around, seeing a large number of goons currently pointing their guns at the man, and the one at the front of the group...None other Kiyoyuki, who smirked at Sanjo with sadistic glee, "Wow Sanjo, I knew you were twisted, but never enough to actually kill the old bag." Shaking his head almost mockingly, he simply said, "How pathetic of you...I had such high hopes."
He stared at him in disbelief, soon saying, "You're kidding right...You're the one who wanted him dead the most!"
Letting out a fake gasp, Kiyoyuki formed a face of shock, "Really?" Soon though, it returned to a smile, "Huh...Must have slipped my mind, but I can't deny, now that he's out of the picture, maybe it's time for a real leader to take command." He turned to the other goons in interest, "What do you say, boys?!" In response, cheering broke out, as all of the goons began to happily scream out 'Kiyo! Kiyo!', as the man turned to Sanjo with a smirk, "Well, it's decided then, guess I'm the new boss of the DeLucca Family...Or should I say, the Takagi Family."
Sanjo narrowed his eyes at him, though scoffed while crossing his arms, "Congrats, now let me out of here. I have to find my son now."
Raising a brow at the man, he hummed for a moment, "Well...I guess you did just do me a favor...So sure." He snapped his fingers, as everyone moved out of the man's way, "Well, there you go, Sanjo...Thanks for everything, buddy."
Giving the man a look, Sanjo slowly began to walk past him and through the crowd, taking a small glance back, as he walked towards the exit...Only to hear fingers snap. In the next moment, a flurry of gunshots rang off through the air.
"P-Please...That's all I have! Everything is on there!"
A small boy, wearing nothing but purple and violet clothing, laid on the ground with a cracked nose, as Kiyoyuki stood above him, a gun aimed directly at his head, as he looked over the boy's phone, "Wow...You Cartel peeps seriously keep in contact with one another through a website?" He let out a chuckle, "Man...That is actually pathetic."
He flinched slightly, asking, "W-Well...Now that you have it, can I g-"
BANG
A body fell to the ground, as Kiyoyuki shook his head mockingly, "Stupid ass kid, as if I'd let a rat of any type get away scot-free. That just ain't my style." Chuckling slightly, he looked over the phone...Only to freeze upon noticing a certain man wearing a police uniform, and none other than Indigo on the website, with both of their numbers proudly displayed under their profiles.
Humming to himself, he began to smirk to himself, "...Interesting...Real interesting."
"That's right, I got all the information you'll need...Don't worry, I'll be the strong guy in white, you can't miss me...Okay, seeya there."
Turning off the call, he quickly dialed another number, "...Yo Sanjo, it's me, Kiyo! I got some news on those coppers, buddy...Oh, well that's simple. One of my boys was in the Crime Alley area, and they spotted the two hanging out near one of the abandoned buildings off Curtain Street...Okay...And by the way, I talked to more of the boys, and...They're more than interested if we decide to do something about the boss…"
Smirking at something that was said, he hung up, letting out a chuckle, "Only one last call to make...Time to tell a certain lass about a little 'deal' going on."
A nearby goon rose a brow at Kiriyama, "So...You sure this'll work."
Kiyoyuki nodded, a smirk on his face, "Hell yeah it will. I already know for a fact that Sanjo wouldn't join us, but considering his temper lately, it's only a matter of time once he deals with the boss for me." Letting out a chuckle, "I already have a lot of support to take control, but no way could I get away with killing the boss...But if Sanjo does it...Well, who's gonna trust a freak like him over me. In the end, I'll have our scapegoat right where I want him, and once he's dealt with Kiriyama...Well, only a matter of time before the rat is dealt with as well."
"So...What should we do Kiyo? He got away…"
Kiyoyuki shrugged, lighting another cigarette soon after as he stared at the bloodstains on the carpet, "Eh, he's ran right into a city bleeding from head to toe, while a bunch of monsters are out on the prowl for fresh meat. He won't last until sunrise...Though just in case, I'll send out a squad or two to search for him."
Most of the goons seemed to agree with this, though the smallest of the bunch eventually asked, "So...What now, Kiyo...Or should I say, 'Boss'?"
Smirking at this, he let out a chuckle, "Now...Now, we prepare to take control, boys."
James: AND WITH THAT, THE BEGINNING OF THE END HAS...Well, begun.
Alexis: My mind is blown away...I don't know what to think anymore, bros…
James: With that said, things have gotten intense to say the least, so stick around, cause from here...Things are only gonna get more insane!
