What is mine, is yours.

My life as Part of the Vongola: Special

Now, if I said my life couldn't be any weirder or wilder, I would be horribly and refutably be wrong. When I lived my life as a simple police officer, before I had met Hibari, before I had met the vongola I could have never imagined what had awaited me on the other side.

All of the moments in my life had not in her mind brought her to where she was now.

She stared into the younger storm grey eyes of Hibari Kyoya, the words leaving his mouth rendering her speechless as she tried to comprehend what to say.

"So, she is mine" his voice was sharp his eyes trailed on her in an intense gaze only moving to flicker to look at the older version of himself.

Now of course this event didn't just take place, no, what lead to it were the series of events that followed, the battle against the Byakuran and the fight for the future.

I remembered the first parts of the mission, the fake death of Tsuna the carefully laid out plans that caused so much pain for those of the Vongola who were not informed of the decisions confided in behind closed doors between the few Tsuna had decided to tell.

I was there when Hibari had saved Gokudera from his fate in the fight with Gamma. I had remembered my heart pounding in my chest as I aided where I could in helping defeat the man, taking Gokudera to the side when Hibari had laid the final blow. I remembered with a laugh having to explain to Gokudera in around about way who she was as she tended to his wounds.

"Who are you" he had asked his brow furrowed as I sat their applying swabbing alcohol to his wounds.

With a light breath of air almost resembling a laugh I answered "I'm new"

It was then my attention was drawn to the rustle of the bushes closest and had come eye to eye with a younger Tsuna. The first thought filtering into my head 'he is so cute!'.

It took me not long to find myself behind Hibari having slung both Gokudera and Yamato unconscious on my shoulders.

His voice filtered through the air "What took you, Sawada Tsunayoshi?"

Tsuna's reaction was quick his voice filed with relief at seeing Hibari. Honestly, I myself was glad to see him here in his younger state. Even with myself being in on the plan I had felt the loss of him not being around, his disposition was missed that was a fact.

Tsuna's eyes quickly flicked over Hibari's shoulder to me, his face quickly turning to one of concern. His legs quickly carrying him to stand in front of me his voice wavering

"Gokudera…..Yamato…"

I gave him a smile, trying to be reassuring.

"They will be fine, there life is not in danger however, they will need more medical attention than I can give here."

I watched as Tsuna feel to his knees, worry on his face "They…" he said weakly.

As I watched tsuna unsure of what to say, I felt a significant weight being lifted off me, in panic of having dropped one I looked to my side to find to my relief, Tetsua who had taken Yamato onto his shoulder.

Lal Mirch, as Tsuna had called her quickly spoke up, saying that there was no way that we could possibly take them to the base without detection. I felt a knowing smirk tug at my lips.

"There is no need, you can use ours" Hibari spoke short and curt to the point as he made his way to the entrance we had showed using mist. Tetsua and I followed suit knowing full well what lay beyond the door, Lal Mirch taking the rings elsewhere as a diversion.

Hibari had left us quickly saying he needed to attend to something. We had lead Tsuna to the door that connected our bases transferring Gokudera and Yamoto quickly into the professionals that worked for the Vongola.

I stayed waching the interactions between Gokudera and Tsuna a fond smile finding its way to my face before the deep voice of Hibari caused the room to jump.

"Are you done, I need to talk to you" Hibari;s smooth voice filled the room his eyes focused on Tsuna as he walked towards the medical bed. It was then you watched as ever so slowly the room began to fill with more and more people, watching apprehensive as Hibari's presence began to get agitated the look on his face becoming darker.

It was then Tsuna had made the mistake of turning around, the quick and brutle crack of Hibari's tonfa's meeting his face resounding in the room before he quickly grabbed your formarm with

"Were leaving"

….

I looked at Hibari who's shoulders were tense his brow furrowed, I knew he wasn't just tense from the crowd. The plan had been set in motion and we both knew that it would be a massive road ahead for everyone involved.

"Hibari" I spoke my tone light as he continued to drag me to the confines of our own base.

I didn't get much back except a quick look over the shoulder.

The moment we entered out own base the door closing shut with a woosh of air, I wrapped my arms around Hibari. My own fears falling from my lips.

"It's really happening, we're doing this" my fingers gripped into his suit. I was so glad that he and nobody else had deed today…but it was so hard being there to see the people I had quickly grown so fond of be hurt so severely.

Hibari's shoulder slacked a little under my embrace, a light touch of his hand on my waist.

I pulled back looking into his eyes. I could see the resolve there, for all that he talked of not caring I knew deep down he had been them to save them. We both knew what the result had been otherwise.

And that had been the end of the beginning. So much planning had gone into the events of next. The next phase had been the training.

Training with Hibari and Tsuna had been the hardest thing to watch

However, I knew had to be done, so I was there helping, training and being the support, I knew I had to be for this to work out the way we had all intended.

It was so amazing to watch each and everyone of the younger versions of the Vongola improve so drastically in what felt like the shortest amount of time that we had been given.

I was there watching with bated breath, knowing that Hibari's turn would come, despite his big talk. And to be honest I was terrified and Hibari must have known for he did the most unexpected thing during this period.

It had been late in the evening the sun setting over the garden in Hibari's base the clack of the water feature hitting my ears as I stood on the bridge over the small pond he had put there.

I had almost jumped into it when footsteps fell behind me, Hibari's form towering over me as I took a sharp intake of breath.

"Hibari, you scared the living daylights out of me, you're lucky I didn't hit you"

He took a step forward his eyes on mine

"What have I told you?" he said his voice smooth.

I felt myself puzzled "What do you mean? About standing on the bridge or hitting you?"

He took my left hand in his, his grip was tight but not enough so as to hurt

"About calling me by my name"

It was at that that I felt the smooth coolness of metal on my finger, my eyes widening as I watched as he brought my hand to his lips the ring he just placed their brushing them slightly.

"Kyoya…"

Reflecting on that I knew in some way he had wanted to assure me that everything was going to be alright, in not so many words of course.

Though it hadn't felt that way during his battle with Genkishi.

It had started out ok, cause in my mind I knew Hibari was strong and that he would win. However, as the battle ticked on and every clash of them had me holding my breath what had shattered my resolve was the familiar puff of smoke.

It was then that I watched as the familiar form, that I had only seen but once, of a young Hibari stood on the grounds his uniform hanging off his shoulders. I could feel my heart swell in anguish as tears formed in my eyes…this was it.

Though it was short lived at I had stood by and watched as Hibari effortlessly activated his box, the small hedgehog making its appearance. I remember distinctly having to hold back the laugh as it had pierced him.

And it wasn't long after that that Tetsua, Hibari and I were carrying our fallen comrades out of the battlefield where Hibari's hedgehog had gone haywire.

From there it was a long battle of contant struggle till we had finally found ourselves face to face with Byakuran. A battle it was, but Tsuna had proven to all of us that this was the right course of action when he had become victorious and we had been allowed to awaken the current versions of the younger selves.

That was all that had lead to this moment. In the brief and short period that our current selves spent with the younger was the moment that they had figured out the relationship between Hibari and I.

"We did it" I said with glee as I looked to Tetsua bouncing on my heels as I eagerly awaited the arrival of my now fiancé from his extended slumber. We didn't think it possible for them to be on the same time at each other but that is were we found ourselves.

It had not come to my attention though that a sharp pair of eyes had been watching my interaction from across the room.

It was another minute or so before a few familiar faces started to filter into the room, seeing them all here giving me a broad sense of relief and had cemented the fact that we had achieved what we had set out to do.

Then he walked in the room, and I could hardly stop myself from smiling. Which I assumed I probably looked ridiculous, but I was so happy I could not contain myself.

He walked towards me slowly and I could see what I could only perceive as a sense of relief reflected in his eyes. I walked towards him closing the distance before whispering below my breath.

'I missed you" I said looking up at him fondly, before trying to shake it off as I watched Hibari's gaze move behind me and we faced the younger selves.

We stood together, all of us, but I as usual ended up by his side. We exchanged what we could with the younger versions, answering the questions that they had that we could answer without consequence.

And then quick and sudden there is was.

He stood in front of me, is form shorter due to the lack of years between us. His storm grey eyes still the same

"So" he began looking at me and at himself

"She is mine" he said a tilt to his lips.

My eyes went wide my mouth falling open in slight agape

"W-what I….Hibari what do you mean" I said slightly panicked

I heard Hibari give a smooth chuckle next to me, his hand grabbing my left his lips falling on the ring he placed there before a puff of smoke clouded his younger self and the rest.

To say I was speechless was an understatement.

"Mine" was the last thing he whispered before taking me back to our home.

It had been a year since then.

Today I sat in a room painted with white walls, the beeping of electronics filtering the small room as time seemed to stand still.

I was holding my husbands' hand, a smile on my face as I looked into the same storm grey eyes I fell in love with.

We held eye contact like that for what seemed like forever, before his eyes flickered down. My own gaze following his.

There bundled near my breast, swaddled in lilac was our son.

I felt lips press against my head and a small whisper against my ear, for my ears only.

"I love you"

Whelp there it is :D

Bet you didn't see this happening…..neither did I.

Honestly, I have no idea if this is any good, its been forever since I wrote anything, but I would like to personally thank everyone who has read this from the beginning and those that are new coming in. At some point I would like to revise this whole thing, but I don't know if that will ever happen. If you would like to BETA it I would be more than happy :D

I'd like to personally dedicate this chapter to a few reviewers that kind of made me want to write this.
