Harry kicked Perry off of him and got up along with Marv. Perry went over to where Carl, Monty, and Major were. "Come on Marv…" he said, "Let's get out of here before…" suddenly, police sirens could be heard. The noise began to get closer and closer! "THIS IS THE POLICE!" called a voice from a megaphone outside, "Come out now and get your hands over your head!" Harry and Marv didn't know what to do! "Quick, let's go through the back door!" said Marv, "They'll never see us there!"

But before they could do anything, "BAM!" the front door flung open, and about 12 police officers including the chief burst into the house. The 2 robbers tried to run, but the cops tackled them onto the ground and began to handcuff Harry and Marv's hands. "This isn't what it looks like!" said Harry, "We're not robbers! The family of this house is!"

"Yeah right…" said the chief, yanking the Danville Diamond out of Harry's hands, "Tell it to the judge!" the cops then led Harry and Marv outside. "You have the right to remain silent!" said a cop, "Anything you said will be used against you in court! You have the right to speak to an attorney!" "If you cannot afford one…" said a female officer, "The court will assign one to you!"

A few seconds later, the 3 ambulances arrived at the house. The cops put some "Police line: Do Not Cross" tape along with some orange cones around the house and the area. About 10 paramedics ran inside with 3 stretchers and 3 large red bags of medical supplies.

Carl, Monty, and Major, were put onto each stretcher, and were each taken to "Danville General Hospital". "Let's wait for the family…" said the chief, "We'll need them to answer a few questions." Perry crawled back to his little bed in the hallway and he lay down to get some sleep.

That's when the chief and 2 other officers noticed Isabella's knocked out body on the floor in the dining room; the chief took out a walkie-talkie and made a call. "I need another ambulance here! Now, on the double!" so another ambulance was dispatched from the hospital, and it rushed over to the Flynn-Fletcher house…

Meanwhile, the car of the Flynn-Fetchers was arriving at the house. Lawrence was driving this time and that's when he noticed the police cars... "My word!" he said, "What happened to our house?" Linda looked up from her book and saw the police cars, and slowly departing ambulances. At that moment, another ambulance pulled up into the driveway. The back doors swung open fast and 4 paramedics came along, and rolled out a stretcher...

The father stopped the car right up next to an orange cone. The whole family got out. Phineas ran under the yellow tape. "Stand back!" said an officer blocking he door, "Is this your house?" "Yes!" said Phineas. The cop moved out of the way. Inside, the 4 paramedics were treating someone in the dining room. He took a step closer… "Good, her heart is still beating!" said a paramedic using a stethoscope. Phineas looked ever closer and saw her…Isabella was lying on the floor, unconscious.

Another paramedic walked in with the stretcher. "Isabella!" Phineas said shocked, "What happened to her?" he asked the paramedics. "She'll be fine!" one said, "She just seems to have a concussion. 2 of the paramedics lifted her up onto the stretcher and adjusted the straps over her beautiful body. "A concussion?" said Phineas, who now had tears of anger and sadness in his eyes, "How can she be fine IF HER BRAIN IS IN PAIN!?" he yelled super loud. "We're going to get her to the hospital!" said another paramedic, "Do you know her family's phone number?" Phineas told them, and the chief went outside to call Isabella's family on his cell phone.

Meanwhile, another cop was taking pictures of the property damage. He took a picture of the broken sliding glass door, the smashed up answering machine, and the broken bedroom door upstairs. He also took a picture of the 2 crowbars on the floor, and the red axe that was used. Meanwhile, the Wet Bandits were being led outside by an African-American officer. "You two are going away for a LONG time!" said the cop, as he approached the police car's backdoor.

Linda Flynn and Ferb walked up to them. "Are these the robbers?" asked Linda, "Yes ma'am!" replied the officer. "Your stupid secret agent platypus pet of your tore us up!" said Harry angrily at the mother. "Yeah…" said Marv, "He put a little fedora on his head and set up booby traps and…" "SHUT UP MARV!" said Harry, as the cop opened up the backdoor to the police car.

"That is one thing I do not believe!" said Linda, frowning at Harry. Ferb looked at Harry and back at Linda. "Mom, this man is clearly delusional!" said Ferb. "You bet he is!" said the officer, "A secret agent platypus! What kind of idiot is going to fall for that one?" He laughed and then forced Harry and Marv into the backseat before closing the door.

A female officer walked up to Lawrence. "I'm afraid that the Wet Bandits have damaged some your house." "What kind of damage?" he asked. "Well…" said the female cop, "The sliding backyard door is broken, as well as your answering machine in the living room. And I'm afraid your upstairs bedroom door is broken too! I had my friend take pictures for your insurance company. Do you have insurance?" "Yes we do!" Lawrence told the female cop his insurance company and number, while Linda and Ferb went inside to talk to the chief.

As the 4 paramedics exited the house, they carefully rolled the stretcher outside and into the back of the ambulance. Isabella laid strapped onto it, looking like a lifeless girl. Phineas cried as the doors closed and as the driver got into the front. The ambulance's siren turned on and wailed through the air as the ambulance drove away. Candace walked over to Phineas to comfort him. "Phineas…" she said quietly, "It's okay…They're going to get her to the hospital!" Phineas didn't answer. He just hugged his sister tight and cried some more, with tears dripping down onto the street. Candace sat down with Phineas outside the house, against the wall. An officer gave him a bottle of water and a banana.

Phineas drank half of the water, but he didn't feel like eating anything. Back inside the chief was talking to Linda and Ferb. At that moment, Lawrence walked in. "Why didn't you call the police when you found the diamond?" he asked. "Well…we had to make it to our opera and…we didn't want to miss it!" "So Phineas called Isabella…" said Lawrence, "To watch over it for us!" "If we would have stayed…" explained Linda, "We would have been questioned by the police… We wouldn't have made it to our opera!" "Why didn't you call the police AFTER you left?" asked the chief. "Well…I did ask Candace to do so after we left the house…" Linda walked outside with the chief to find Candace.

Candace was trying to comfort Phineas by saying how Isabella will be okay, and how lucky that the diamond wasn't stolen. But he just had tears come out of his eyes, and he was very quiet. Linda walked up to them. "Candace, did you call the cops when we left?" "Well…no… I was talking to Jeremy and I forgot…oops!" replied Candace. "Honey, the police are more important than Jeremy. You were lucky that the diamond wasn't stolen!" "Well…said the chief, "A 911 operator told me that a girl named Isabella called the police from this address. Tomorrow if you can, I would like you and your family to come to the hospital. The people from the Danville News called and they want to find out everything that Isabella saw and…" "Sure…if we can…" replied Linda, "I'll check my schedule!" "Okay, good!" said the chief. Phineas stood up, "Please don't talk about Isabella in front of me!" said Phineas, standing up. He cried as he ran inside the house, upstairs, and into his room. "WHAM!" he slammed the door…

"Candace…" said Linda, "I think your brother is…well…traumatized." "I know that…" said Candace, "I've been trying to comfort him, but he won't listen!" "Maybe you can talk to him later after he has time to cool down." said Linda. A few minutes later, the cones were taken down, the yellow tape was removed, and the remaining police cars drove away into the night.

5 minutes later, Isabella arrived at the emergency room of "Danville General Hospital", followed by Major Monogram, Monty Monogram, and Carl. Different operating rooms were available to treat them all immediately…

Wow…how emotional for Phineas, huh? That's how I would feel if my friend got hurt. I love how I had Candace try to comfort Phineas as well as another cop. Well…see you in chapter 10!
