Aftermath Savior: Chapter Eight: Door Number One
I can't entirely recall what had happened. Everything just went so fast and seemed to be blurred together. All I can remember is that one moment I am collapsing next to the bed with Molly, holding her close, and the next moment I'm running down the corridors with a dying Molly in my arms. I may have punched the Doctor before I grabbed Molly and made a run for it as well. Now here I am running down the corridors that I had examined for the past five weeks and it has caused me to gain the upper hand slightly with memorizing which ones would lead to a faster, more direct route to the outside world.
I can feel Molly wheezing and shaking in my arms. Without even looking down at her I can tell she is getting worse by the second. This-This Momophelia must have been with her for a little longer than just today…maybe the full effects and ultimate damage happen on the second or last day of infection, or maybe it's been progressing for a week? Agh, this is no time for question like that! I just need to focus on getting Molly out of here! If she was going to die like hell I was going to let her die in this prison! I just need…to focus…
Left here…right…straight…left and up…straight …then a right- oh shit!
Shit, shit, shit, shit…god damn, why did those two meat bags have to be just around the corner and down the hall?!
I peeked around the corner to see if those lousy guards from the first week of imprisonment were looking this way. They were informed of my attempting to escape, I could tell, mainly due to the fact that they were talking about it rather loudly. They kept mentioning on how they knew we were trouble and possible way to…'discipline' me, it was absolutely disgusting. Honestly, are all men so vulgar? No, most men…after all, my husband didn't act like these meat bags, nor did my…savior.
Shaking my head I let out a silent sigh. I can't be thinking about him right now, specially thinking of him like I actually knew him, because I didn't. He only saved Molly and I and seemed to protect us unintentionally, but…there is no way I could place him with these two worthless human beings.
Peking around the corner again I looked at them and noticed that their backs were turned towards me, and there was a door that was right around this corner. I could quickly enter it and hide for a little and wait until they pass. There were two other doors in the hall as well and one much closer to them, so the wait would not be as long. It would be risky to attempt to get in any of the two doors near them, but the wait for them to leave would shorter. Risk or safe bet…Molly…which should it be?
A shaking from the small girl in my arms smacked me out o my thoughts. Molly was getting worse and I'm standing here without doing anything! I'm actually considering doing something risky with my daughter involved!? Dear lord, I'm a horrible mother. Alright Kelly focus, focus on door number one-
Wheeze. Cough, cough. Wheeze.
Oh no.
Yup...so there you have it. I'll get the next installment in as soon as possible!
Criticism would be adored!
Alright Bye~ Bye~ !
