I wake up to find Tris still sleeping. I stare at her in wonder then notice the time. Oh no, I'm supposed to go and pass out the cans of food early today. Apparently Tris had known the game would have taken all night because I find my Abnegation clothes on top of a drawer. I hastily take off my disguise and pull on my gray shirt. Just in case a Dauntless catches me, I put on a black jacket, then leave for the train.

After returning, I am greeted by Marcus. "Hello, son" Marcus says through gritted teeth. I returned the greeting and left to collect the boxes of food. If we were home, he would have immediately punished me. Luckily we're out in public and he has his "mask" on. Hopefully, by the end of the day, he'll forget about it.

I finish passing out the food and go home to shower before leaving for the Prior's. There, we talk about the same old things and I zone out, until I hear something about the Erudites. This isn't the first time we talked about the Erudites, but something about "destruction" catches my attention. I look up and ask, "What is happening with the Erudite?" My father gives me a glare, probably because I spoke out of turn, but I ignore him. Andrew doesn't seem to mind and says, "The Erudites have very important information, information that should have never been shared with them, and now they are planning to stop us from helping the other factions." He continues telling me about a video with crucial information that needs to be shared with the other factions, but of course I can't watch it because it's not time, and that the Erudites are planning to enslave the Divergent. I am Divergent, and I can't let the Erudites succeed.

The meeting finished, and I don't know what to do with all that information. Luckily, Marcus believed I needed to be left alone and did so. Immediately after Marcus left, I run to the first train back to Dauntless to talk to Tris and get my mind off of the meeting. After I jump off, I find Tris waiting for me. She smiles, and I nervously swallow. After I changed, she introduces me to some of her Dauntless friends, Zeke and Shauna near the chasm. Tris leaves us and goes to talk to her other friends, which includes the guy from yesterday. Zeke hands me a bottle, and I look suspiciously at it. I asked, "What is it?" Zeke looks at me in horror and shout out, "You don't know what beer is?!" In panic over having my actual faction known, I drink. It tastes strange, but I continue. It's a good thing beer doesn't have too much of an effect on me even though I'm slightly dizzy. After a while, Zeke and Shauna forced me to play a game called, "Truth or Dare." We're supposed to pick one or the other and answer truthfully if we pick truth or are forced to do something if we pick dare. "Truth" I say. Shauna gave it a lot of thought before grinning and asking, "Do you like someone?" That's easy, "Of course, I like lots of people." Shauna whines, "Not like that." I shrug, "You didn't specify." I can hear myself slurring my words, but I don't care. Then Zeke says "Fine," with a mischievous grin. Oh no. "Do you like a girl in a boyfriend/girlfriend kind of way." I can feel my face burning and they laugh at that. Shauna asks, "Who is it?!" What? I didn't even answer. I point out that they only get one chance. They continue to beg and beg, but I won't give in, then Tris comes in talking to her other friends, which includes that guy from yesterday.

"Tris!" I call out. I walk up to her and notice she got another tattoo. Now it's the Dauntless seal on her shoulder. This time, she's also wearing…eyeliner? Her eyes look different, bigger and bluer. "You look different" I tell her. She looks at me and says, "So do you" and asks, "What are you doing?" Ah, am I really Abnegation..? Oh well. I laugh and say, "Flirting with death," then continue, "Drinking near the chasm. Probably not a good idea." She agrees, "No it isn't."

"I'd ask you to join us, but you weren't supposed to see me this way."

She asks, "What way? Drunk?"

"Yeah, well no," I softly say, "Real, I guess."

"I'll pretend I didn't."

"Nice of you." I lean forward and whisper into her ear, "You look good, Tris." She nervously laughs and says, "Do me a favor and stay away from the chasm, okay?"

I reply, "Of course" and wink at her. Wait, when did I start winking…? She smiles, and I walk back to Zeke and Shauna. They stared at me with their mouths wide opened. What?

"You like Tris?" Zeke asks. What? How did he come to that conclusion?

I say, "No… besides, what's wrong if I like her?"

"Nothing, it's just that you two don't seem to fit together, and Tris has never acted like that with anyone." Really? Hope swells inside me. "Anyways, let's continue."

Please give a review and I hoped you guys liked it! I know I haven't been updating, but I was dying and tired from APUSH (AP US History). I have a whole week off and was planning on updating everyday, but I have homework and I saw Catching Fire yesterday, which is why I didn't update yesterday; the movie made me depressed. Anyways, I hope to update tomorrow because I already have an idea on what to write!:) By the way, I'm trying to decide on what series to read next since I'm done with Divergent (sobs). My two choices are Matched by Ally Condie and Legend by Mary Lu. If any of you guys have read these, tell me which one I should read first? please? :)
