A/N: Can you believe it? It's a new chapter. I'll be updating Spur of the Moment very soon too. I know it's been a long time but I'm in University now and I'm kept busy. If I'm not at school, I'm working. If I'm not working, I'm sleeping. If I'm not sleeping, I'm on the sofa wishing I was asleep. Lol. So, I hope you like this chapter. Can't say when I'll be updating again but I will eventually. Just hang in there and bear with me. Thanks so much. Please review. :]

"Well, Mr. Potter," Healer Danny Masters said after examining Harry. "It would appear that you are completely healed physically. Not a blemish on you."

"Really? I'm healed?" Harry said excitedly. "No more sling? No more potions?"

"No more sling. Besides the Nutritive Potion, no more potions. You are clear," Danny said with a smile.

Harry gave an uncharacteristic shout of joy and Danny laughed. Harry quickly settled though and looked at the man that was a Malfoy family friend. "Healer Masters, I want to thank you. I'd be dead if you hadn't helped. So, thank you...so much."

"No need to thank me. It's what I do. Also, anyone that has Severus and Lucius as worried as they were must mean something," Danny said and Harry gave him a bemused look. "Those two don't show their emotions, you know this, but that night, anyone could've seen that they were scared as hell about what might happen to you."

Harry dropped his eyes to the ground in thought. Yes, he was beginning to like the four Slytherins he had been living with but to hear that Severus and Lucius had been worried about him? It was surreal. Things made so little sense but what else was new? Two days had passed since he had regained his confusing and disturbing memories. Lucius, Narcissa, and Severus were heading to Privet Drive after his check-up to get the guardianship papers signed. Harry could only imagine how well it would work.

"Everything all right?" Lucius asked, he and Narcissa and Severus standing in the doorway to Harry's bedroom.

Danny nodded and was about to speak but Harry beat him to it. "It's all fine. I'm healed," he smiled.

"That's wonderful news!" Narcissa exclaimed and rushed to hug the child. He flinched as always but didn't stop smiling and eventually hugged her back.

"Here is a copy of Harry's file in case you ever need it," Danny said, handing a folder to Lucius who nodded. "Well, I suppose I'm all done here."

"Thank you again, Healer Masters," Harry said with a gentle but shy smile.

"Call me 'Danny'. As I understand it, you're one of the family now," the Healer said.

"I'm-I'm not really," Harry stumbled, blushing and looking down.

"Maybe one day then," Danny said. "The future's never set in stone as they say, not even prophecies." He winked at a wide-eyed Harry. "I'm off. I will see you all another time. Goodbye, Harry."

"I-I think I'll go visit the horses," Harry said and left the room once he had received permission.

Harry was sitting cross-legged on the floor directly in front of Irish's open stall. Irish still had yet to venture outside but he had begun lying down less and was also eating more. He was still skittish and easily spooked but not as bad anymore, especially with Harry.

"I know how you feel," he was saying to his favourite horse. "Sometimes I wish I could just hide away forever. Unfortunately, I can't though I guess I'm doing a pretty good just of it staying here."

Irish continued to gaze at Harry as he had been for the past hour.

"What do you think Healer Masters meant? About the prophecies? I always thought that once a prophecy was made, it would happen," Harry said, biting his lip in thought. "I wonder if every prophecy in the Hall of Prophecies will be fulfilled at some point."

Irish gave a quiet huff as if to say he didn't know.

"I have no idea what to do anymore, Irish. I have nowhere to go, no wand, and new memories I have yet to make peace with. I also need to have the other spells removed and the potions neutralized," Harry said. He drew his knees up to his chest and wrapped his arms around them. "I actually like it here though. I don't really want to leave even though I know I'll have to at some point. I kind of like the Malfoys and even Severus."

Irish shook his head, tossing his mane slightly.

"Let's make a deal," Harry said and stood up. "If I'm not allowed to hide, neither are you."

Irish snorted and Harry smiled.

"I mean it. You only get to hide if I can but I know you won't let me. We'll try tomorrow, all right?" Harry said, pulling the stall door shut.

Irish whickered quietly and Harry smiled again.

"I'll see you later, Irish. Remember our deal," Harry said and left the stables.

The sun was shining brightly despite being in the middle of setting. He was surprised to see how much time had passed. Illuminated by the reds and oranges cast across the valley, Harry headed towards the manor.

"Harry, you've been out here for hours," Draco said, standing on the back porch.

"Sorry," Harry said automatically.

"Come on, Dad wants to talk to you," the young Slytherin said and Harry paled slightly.

"About what?"

"I think they're leaving."

Harry tensed and went white. "What?"

Draco hurried to explain. "No! No, not like that. They're going to your relatives'. They're not leaving you and you're not going anywhere either."

Harry gave a jerky nod and followed Draco inside the manor. "Is Severus staying with us?" he asked.

"No, he's going with them as a precaution." Draco shook his head. "We'll be staying alone but Healer Masters might Floo to check in."

Harry nodded again and entered the foyer with Draco. Lucius, Narcissa, and Severus were there, pulling on cloaks and talking quietly. Harry felt his heart pound a little harder. They were actually doing it; they were taking him in. But what if the Dursleys' wouldn't sign?

"They will whether they want to or not," Severus said and Harry realized he had spoken aloud. He flushed slightly.

"They might not just to keep me from being happy. They've done it before," Harry said.

"Not this time," Narcissa said firmly.

"How?"

Severus twirled his wand casually. "We have our ways."

Harry's eyes widened.

"Severus," Narcissa admonished and Severus shrugged. Harry hid a smile though the Potions master caught it and smirked slightly.

"I believe we are ready, yes?" Lucius said and the others nodded.

Harry felt worried all over again. "Be-be careful," he said and blushed deeply. "I-I know he's just a Muggle and you can do magic, but that doesn't mean he's harmless."

"That is one reason Severus is accompanying us. We will be all right, dear," Narcissa said.

"Just be careful," Harry said and looked at Severus. He added, "Please" before quickly stretching up and chastely kissing Severus' cheek. He blushed and fled upstairs.

Draco was blinking as he registered what had just happened and Severus was doing the same. Narcissa and Lucius were simply smiling.

"Let's go," Lucius said. "You and Harry behave. We'll be back soon," he told Draco who nodded. The three adults then headed outside and Disapparated while Draco went upstairs.

He and Harry had some talking to do.

"Lucius, I may reconsider my opinion about hexing them," Severus said as they stared at number four, Privet Drive.

Lucius grinned.

"Boys," Narcissa said, "I will send you both home and do this myself if you don't behave."

Severus rolled his eyes as Lucius smiled.

"Shall we?" Severus said and they walked up to the door. Lucius rang the doorbell.

"Duddy, get the door," a woman said.

"Mum," the child whined, "I'm watching the telly."

"Not exactly quiet, are they?" Lucius said just as the door opened, revealing a thin woman.

"Yes?" she said.

"Petunia Dursley, I presume?" Severus said.

"Yes. How do you—" she trailed off as her eyes slid over them, especially Severus. "You're them."

"If you mean wizards then, yes, we are. Very good," Lucius said.

"The boy isn't here. Brat ran away," Petunia said and went to shut the door. Severus stopped her.

"We are well aware of where your nephew is and what has been done to him," Severus said. "Is Vernon home, 'Tuney?"

Petunia mouthed the hated childhood nickname. "You. You were the boy who was friends with Lily."

"So you do remember," Severus sneered. "Thoughts of Lily didn't seem to help you raise Harry though."

"He's a freak like her. He deserved all of it," Petunia said and Severus' eyes flashed dangerously.

"Where is your husband?" Narcissa growled.

"Watching telly with Dudley," Petunia said.

"Might we come in then? We have several things to discuss with the both of you," Lucius said as though they were involved in a business deal.

"Absolutely not," Petunia said. "We will not allow your type in our house ever again. Dangerous freaks the lot of you."

She started to slam the door again but was stopped by Severus' foot and Lucius' wand.

"I suggest you let us in, Mrs. Dursley," Narcissa said.

Petunia paled drastically as she stared at the wand and pulled the door open, giving the wizards and witch entrance.

"Who is it, Pet? Don't buy whatever they're selling," a deep male voice called from the sitting room. Petunia said nothing as Narcissa, Lucius, and Severus passed her, heading for the sitting room and observing on the way.

They noticed how there were dozens of photos but not one was of Harry. They all took notice of the cupboard under the stairs and silently seethed with fury. They would take a look afterwards. They glanced into the kitchen and glared, picturing a toddler with black hair and green eyes being forced to cook meals he would get none of. The three of them turned into the sitting room and their eyes fell on the two enormous figures on the sofa.

"Pet?" Vernon said again though he never looked away from the television.

"Vernon Dursley," Lucius said and they were surprised at how fast the Muggle leapt off the sofa considering his size.

"Who in the blazes are you? Get out of my house," Vernon demanded.

"We have a few things to discuss with you," Lucius said, twirling his wand at his side.

"Freaks!" Vernon shouted. "Get the hell out of my house! We've dealt with the contamination of your kind long enough!"

Severus' eyes flashed. "It seems you found a way to deal with it, did you not?"

"What the devil are you talking about?" Vernon growled, his face going red in anger.

"You know very well what I'm talking about, Dursley, or have you conveniently forgotten the beatings you gave Harry?" Severus sneered.

"Boy deserved it for exposing us to his freakishness and taking advantage of us and causing so much trouble. Almost killed Dudley he did and killed his godfather. Such a nuisance that his school kicked him out," Vernon said hatefully.

It was Lucius who stared towards the man and had to be held back. "You're a despicable son of a bitch who doesn't deserve a family and should never be allowed even near a child."

"I did nothing to that boy that he didn't ask for," Vernon said.

"He asked for food and love and affection and a family, but you didn't give him any of those," Narcissa hissed.

"He deserved none of it. He was a freak, forcing himself into our home. He's lucky we gave him a room instead of leaving him outside to freeze," Vernon said and Severus and Lucius growled dangerously.

"Enough," Narcissa said. "The only reason we are here is to get you to sign these."

"What are they?" Vernon asked, snatching the guardianship papers.

"My husband and I wish to take guardianship of Harry," Narcissa said. "You and your wife simply have to sign."

"You mean the freak's alive?" Vernon said, aghast. Severus and Lucius were now holding each other back. Narcissa absently wondered how they were doing it. "Pity," the Muggle added.

"Sign the papers," Narcissa said through clenched teeth.

"Hope you realize what you're getting. No idea why anyone would want the little bastard," Vernon said, grabbing a pen. He was initially prevented from signing when Severus and Lucius punched him together. Narcissa was surprised the Muggle was still conscious though his nose was bleeding profusely and his cheek looked like it may be fractured.

"Sign the papers before we really hurt you," Severus said.

Vernon shakily signed the guardianship papers, one hand trying to stem the blood flow from his nose with Petunia who had rushed over. Once Vernon was done, she quickly signed as well.

"We did what you asked. Leave us alone," Petunia pleaded.

"You will pay for what you did to Harry," Lucius threatened.

"Until then," Severus said and pointed his wand at Vernon. "Aclactam rediere dolores*."

A white light engulfed Vernon who began to moan and whimper.

"Severus," Narcissa hissed. "That curse is illegal."

"And not nearly fitting enough for him," Severus said, glaring at Vernon. "Let's go," he added and stalked outside, forgetting about the cupboard.

Lucius and Narcissa quickly followed and they Disapparated away to Malfoy Manor. They would get authorities involved another time.

"Harry?" Draco said, knocking on the open door.

"Hi," Harry said quietly from where he sat on the window seat. Draco crossed the room and joined him.

"You all right?" Draco asked.

Harry shrugged. "Nervous, I suppose."

"About Severus?"

Harry's eyes widened before he looked away.

"It's all right if you like him," Draco said. "Mum and Dad would be okay with it."

"He might not be though," Harry muttered. "I have no idea why I did that. I'm only sixteen and we've hated each other for years. He could never see me as anything but an irritating child."

"He doesn't hate you and he's definitely changed his perception of you," Draco said. "Did you feel anything when you kissed him?"

Harry flushed slightly. "There was heat and a...spark, almost like electricity. Nothing overwhelming, just a small shock."

"You think you and he might be..." Draco trailed off.

"I don't know," Harry said. "I doubt it. Even if we are, it doesn't matter. I'm not bringing it up so just forget about it."

"Harry—"

"No. It doesn't matter. Besides, there's too many other things to worry about right now. This will just have to wait," Harry said, staring at Draco until the young Slytherin nodded.

"So are you excited about the guardianship?" Draco asked, changing the subject.

Harry smiled slightly. "I'm still surprised they offered and are going through with it."

"Of course they are," Draco said. "Mum adores you and Dad likes you too. He likes talking to you about history and runes and things like that."

"He got me interested in runes. It's fascinating," Harry said, his eyes lighting up. "The idea that specific wards can be created with runes and spells are being discovered everyday from translated runes. Runes can make things so much more powerful and stable because hardly anyone can decipher them, especially the ancient runes from the ancient world. It's amazing and I love learning more from Lucius."

"Maybe it's something you'd like to go into as a career," Draco said, smiling at Harry's enthusiasm. It was rare that the Gryffindor was so open.

Harry's smile faded. "I won't be able to. I can't go back to school so I can't graduate. I'll never get a job now."

"You'' figure it out and Mum and Dad will help," Draco reassured him. "Hogwarts isn't the only wizarding school."

"I'm not going to Durmstrang or Beauxbatons. I don't think I want to leave Britain," Harry said. "I mean, I want to travel but I've never been outside Britain."

"We'll figure it out," Draco said. He hesitated but placed a hand on Harry's leg in comfort. Harry gave him a smile.

"Boys? We're back," Narcissa's voice drifted upstairs.

"It took a while," Harry said. "Do you think they got the papers signed?"

"Definitely," Draco said, nodding. "They wouldn't have left until they got the signatures. Come on."

Harry followed Draco and they got downstairs just as the doors to Lucius' study and the den slammed shut. They walked over to Narcissa who was removing her cloak and her shoes. She smiled when she saw the two boys.

"My boys," she said and smiled at Harry's wide eyes. "Yes, you are one of my boys even if it is just guardianship right now."

"They signed?" Harry said, shocked.

"They most certainly did," Narcissa smiled.

"Did you hurt them?" Harry asked.

Narcissa gave him a questioning look. "That is a concern?"

"Well, I don't want any of you about to go to Azkaban," Harry said, colouring slightly.

Narcissa smiled again. "Not to worry, dear."

Harry nodded and, for the first time, returned her embrace without hesitation.

"Where are Dad and Uncle Severus?" Draco asked as Narcissa and Harry parted, but she kept her arm around Harry's shoulders.

"Your father is in his study and Severus in the den. They were...overwhelmed by the visit. Understandable, really," she told them.

"Did my uncle say something? What happened?" Harry asked, alarmed.

"Nothing happened, dear. Everything went fine," Narcissa said but Harry just stared at her. She signed. "Harry, your uncle said horrid and cruel things. They made Lucius and Severus very upset."

"What did he say?" Harry asked quietly.

"Nothing you need to worry about. Severus and Lucius took care of it," Narcissa said.

"Merlin, you didn't kill him?" Draco said and his mother scowled.

"Of course not, Draco."

"Well," Draco shrugged, "you never know with Dad and Uncle Severus."

"Draco, do you mind?" Narcissa said.

"Not at all, Mother." Draco grinned.

Harry laughed quietly.

"Are you all right now, dear?" Narcissa asked him.

Harry nodded. "Yeah. Thank you for doing this."

"The pleasure is most certainly ours. We are gaining a delightful young man," Narcissa said, making Harry blush furiously. "Now, I trust we are all hungry. Draco, go talk to your father and uncle."

Draco nodded and headed down the hall.

"And, Harry." She turned to him. "A certain little ferret—"

"Mum! I heard that!"

"—told me that you know how to cook," she finished as though Draco hadn't spoken.

"Just a little," Harry said with a shrug.

"Perhaps you would like to help me cook dinner," Narcissa suggested.

"I wouldn't want to be in the way," Harry said. Why had Draco told her? What did it matter if he could cook?

You have to earn your keep, a voice said in his head but he pushed it away.

"It would be lovely to have you cook with me," Narcissa said, smiling. "I'm sure Draco has told you how I love having someone help."

Harry nodded. "He said Severus helps sometimes because Draco and Lucius can't cook."

Narcissa laughed. Harry loved the sound. He wondered what his mother's laugh had sounded like. "Quite right," she said. "Would you like to help?"

"Um, all right," Harry said and Narcissa gave a delighted smile.

"Come, come," she said happily and pulled him into the kitchen. She started pulling out tools and pots and pans. She retrieved the different ingredients and soon everything was spread out across the island.

"I'm surprised you cook," Harry said without thought and paled once the words registered. "I am so s—"

"Not to worry, dear. Why does it surprise you?" she asked, handing him a knife to chop the vegetables.

"I expected the Malfoys to have a house elf do the cooking," Harry said, not removing hi eyes from the carrot.

"They do a fair bit," Narcissa said. "If it's for a bigger event or I'm tired or too busy then the house elves will cook."

Harry nodded in understanding and handed her the carrots. She thanked him and slid them into the boiling pot of water. Harry stood by and watched her add the broccoli and put the asparagus in another pot. Narcissa then handed him the chicken and asked him to cut it into strips.

"Mum," Draco said, entering the kitchen.

"What is it, dear?" she asked, peeling potatoes.

"Uncle Severus and Dad wouldn't let me in. They're sulking," Draco said, sitting at the table.

Narcissa sighed. "Those two. They'll come out once they smell the food."

Soon Harry and Narcissa were placing the food on the table and taking their seats. Just as she had predicted, Lucius and Severus walked into the kitchen as the smell of dinner floated out of the kitchen.

"What's for dinner, my dear?" Lucius said, sitting next to Draco. Harry kept his eyes firmly on his dinner as Severus sat next to him, sure that if he looked at the man he would blush furiously.

A/N: So, I hope you liked it. I know they didn't really do anything to the Dursleys but they'll be getting the Ministry and authorities involved and there will be a trial and everything. More will happen with the Dursleys. Don't worry about them seeming to get off free after all they've done, especially Vernon. So, review please. Thank you so much. :]
