Cold, she was cold. Leaning against the wall she felt her body fall to the floor as her watery blues looked up at the burning sun. Her pale blood stained arms wrapped around her chest as she shook her head back and forth. The realization of what just happened hitting her hard…her father was dead.

Closing her eyes she cried out, the pain in her heart intensifying. Uncaring she feels arms wrap around her body pulling her into a familiar lap. The smell of roses taking over her, looking up she felt the tears fill again as he kissed her forehead in comfort. He should not be here; if they found him, they would kill him for sure. Especially since her father was… "I'm not leaving," he whispered he felt her tighten her grip on his chest. "We are of one heart, your pain is my pain, and your loss is my loss. I will stay with you as long as you need. The law be damned" without another word Serenity held onto Prince Endymion crying into his chest till she fell asleep.

Mamoru watched as the two lovers held one another under the stars. Looking around him he watched as Serenity pulled away from Endymion, her blood covered arms opened wide as she stood to face him. Confused, Mamoru looked around the court yard. Looking back Serenity now stood just a few feet from him. Endymion now gone, he stared into her angry blue eyes. "Their dead" she hissed

Mamoru took a step back confused, "Who?"

"Their dead" she hissed once more, her body taking the form of King Apollo and Kenji Tsukino. "You abandoned our princess…you swore to take care of her look after her" the two men yelled, confused and now frightened Mamoru shook his head looking around the now darkening court yard. "You abandoned her!"

Mamoru watched in horror as King Apollo's stomach tore itself open, blood and guts pouring out onto the ground, his skin sickly gray, "What the hell?!" Mamoru yelled again trying to back away as Kenji's body became mangled and grossly angled. "THEIR DEAD!" Usagi's voice screamed out as Mamoru covered his ears screaming to wake up.

Sweat poured down his forehead as he jumped up from bed, breathing heavily he looked around the darken room. Running his hands through his hair he dove for his cell phone, dialing her number he waited for her to pick up. "Please pick up Usako" he urged the phone. Nothing. Sighing he turned to the darken sky, "I need to get home"

Usagi laughed as Tie tried to flip a drink in the air, forgetting to tighten the lid of the shaker on, the lid popped off causing the contents inside to spill all over him. Nudging Usagi, Kitomi pointed at a young girl who looked no older than 16 talking with Ryu. "Looks like we got ourselves a new sacrificial lamb" Tie frowned as he looked to the girls, "I didn't know Ryu was taking in new girls"

"You know he has too" Her eyes grew wide at his confused expression, "didn't you hear?" the bartender shook his head. "Lynn is pregnant and leaving in a month" Tie rolled his eyes. "Again? Doesn't she have like 10 kids already?" Kitomi shrugged and turned to Usagi who was staring at the young girl. "Usagi, what's up?"

Usagi frowned "I think I know her"

"Really?" Kitomi grabbed her arm and pulled Usagi along, "well let's go talk then"

Usagi's frown deepened as she realized who stood in front of her. It was Chibi-usa childhood friend Momo. "Why is she working here? She has to be no older than 16"

"Unless she has a clearance from the court then she shouldn't be here" Kitomi pulled Usagi up to Momo, Ryu taking the paper from the nervous brunette and walked into his office. "Hey kid, my friend here said she knows you"

Momo looked to Usagi and gasped "Usagi-san?!"

Rubbing the back of her neck she nodded her head sheepishly as she tried to pull her white tank top down. "Hello Momo-chan"

"What are you doing here? in a place like this?"

Usagi raised a brow at the teen, "I could ask you the same question"

Momo looked to her feet. "I-I need the money"

"Correct me if I'm wrong, aren't you like...16 now?" she nodded

"I have a court document legalizing me as an adult..." Usagi looked to the girl confused. "I've been living on my own for three years now...with my husband...and our...our..." she was too embarrassed to say

"You have a kid? Husband?" taking the girl by the hand she turned to Kitomi. "I need to talk to her, she's a good friend of...someone really close to me. Can you tell Ryu we'll be right back?" with a nod, Usagi pulled Momo into the back room and out to the ally. Sitting on some turn over crates, Usagi stared at the teen worriedly "What happened?"

"You remember Keyoski right?" Usagi nodded slowly "well when we were 14 we started dating and one thing lead to another and I had our son" she sighed, "our families disowned us; we had to move out on our own. Luckily for us, my grandmother left me a lot of money so that got us through until now." she laughed tears in her eyes. "I never thought raising a kid would cost so much money. Kyūsuke has really bad asthma and needs special breathing treatments, which cost alot..." she looked to Usagi, "I saw this place needed a waitress and even though Keyoski is not happy about it, he knows we need the money. So here I am"

Usagi knelt down before the girl, grabbing her hands she smiled softly. "I understand what you're going though, let me tell you why I'm here...and maybe we can help each other"

The boxes were piled high in the small empty one bedroom apartment. Smiling, Keyoski turned to Usagi and bowed deeply. "I can't tell you how thankful we are for your help getting us this apartment Usagi-san"

Waving him off Usagi tickled the small three years old. "It's not a problem. You two were very important to Chibi-usa, making you very important to me. Now I live right down the hall, the landlord said the first three months are totally paid for, the way the two of you can get on your feet"

Kitomi came out of the bedroom smiling at the couple. "I finished setting up Kyuske's bed and placed the extra clothes in the closet"

"Thank you so much Kitomi-san for the bed and clothes...are you sure it's okay?" Momo asked worriedly

Kitomi laughed, "Yes its more than okay, my kids grew out those things years ago I've wanted to get rid of it forever."

"Well we'll let the three of you get settled in." Waving goodbye, Usagi and Kitomi made their way to Usagi's home. Once inside they took a seat on the couch resting.

"You paid their rent didn't you?" Usagi nodded. "You used the extra money you've saved up" again she nodded, "You have a good heart Usagi"

"I can't imagine going through what they are going through now..." She looked at Kitomi, "Their situation is no different than Shingo and Mika, except my parents supported them...but Momo...for the two of them at 14 to be kicked out of their homes..."

The navy haired coworker frowned, "Are you going to be okay? Financially I mean?"

Usagi thought for a moment, "It's going to be tight for a little bit, but after a couple shifts everything will be alright"

Mamoru looked to his phone one last time before walking onto the plane. Sighing he turned it off; he had been trying to get in contact with Usagi all week, with no luck. Taking his seat by the window he looked up at the darken sky. I'm coming Usako.

Shaking, someone or something was shaking him. Slowly opening his eyes he came face to face with a very pretty brunette. "Sorry to wake you sir but we've landed." Mamoru sat up looking around as other passengers walked past. Smiling up at the flight attendant, Mamoru made his way off the plane. Once pass security, Mamoru smiled to see Asanuma waving frantically holding a large sign that read Doctor Chiba. "Really Numa?"

"What do you mean really?" Asanuma smiled, "I thought this would make you feel like some big shot"

Shaking his head, Mamoru made his way to baggage claim. "So I thought after we leave here, I'll take you to your apartment so you can drop your stuff off and then take you to see Usa-chan"

Mamoru smiled in appreciation, "As much as I'd love to see Usako its morning which means she's in class. I'll give her a call this afternoon"

"I still can't believe you didn't tell her you were coming home!"

Mamoru looked to his phone again, "Actually I've been trying to call her all week, but I haven't been able to get through to her" sighing he grabbed his bag and handed it to his friend as he went to grab his second one. "Until then I want to head to my apartment, then to the clinic. I called Noboyuki and told him I wanted to start seeing patients as soon as I get in"

Usagi looked to the blond questionably as Motoki handed her an economics book. "Mika told me at their graduation party"

Usagi laughed looking the book over. "I told her I'd be able to buy it in two weeks" Usagi looked to Motoki sadly, "I'll pay you back"

Motoki shook his head. "No, this is a gift."

"For what?"

"A graduation gift"

Usagi, laughed harder. "I haven't graduated yet"

"True but Shingo and Mika have. That's all because of you. Plus I know money is real tight because of your generous heart and all" Usagi hissed under breath, swearing she would kill Mika when she gets the chance. "Don't be angry with her Usagi, what you did for that family-paying their rent for three months was beyond kind."

"Yeah but because of it, I'm struggling pretty badly. I thought I'd be alright after a few pay checks, but with the cost of cap and gowns and tuition fees-dorm room supplies…let's just say I didn't budget well" she signed running her hands through her hair. "I was supposed to be done with this job by now remember? Flirting with drunken men really sucks"

Motoki frowned at the thought, but understood why she agreed to do it. "Not to worry Usagi, that's why big brother Motoki is here" he smiled putting a large bag onto the coffee table. "In this bag you will find dinner for tonight and tomorrow, a new Soccer ball and shoes for Ryo and art supplies for Saeko. Along with a new book bag filled with day care essentials for little Mrs. Ikuko"

Tears filled her eyes as she hugged Motoki tightly. "You are my guardian angel"

Shingo made his way toward the student center; he was determined to find a part time job on campus that would help cut down the cost. "What are you doing?" Looking behind him he rubbed the back of his neck worriedly. "You're doing what she told you not to do"

"I know Usagi-baka wants us to focus on college so we can support Ikuko, but Mika-I know that Usagi is struggling, having oatmeal for the last three weeks is obvious that money is tight, not to mention Motoki's dinner and prepared lunches!" he turned to his wife in annoyance. "honestly I feel like you know more than I do about what's really going on"

Mika shrugged, "So what if I do"

"Then tell me"

"Nope, Private sister club. No husbands or brothers aloud"

"This isn't a joke Mika! This is my family I'm the man of the house now, it's my job to protect and provide for not just you and Ikuko but for my siblings" he shook his head as tears filled his eyes. "I can't just sit back and wait for things to turn around nor can I continue to allow my sister to carry this burden alone…don't you think she's carried enough weight on her shoulders? When will it be her turn to finally relax…and just…live?"

Mika walked up to Shingo grabbing his hand. "She's only carrying out mom and dad's wishes Shingo…But I understand why you want to do this"

Shingo sighed touching his wife's face softly. "Thank you"

"That's what I'm here for, now let head to the Student center, if we both can get part time jobs we can really lower our tuition cost. Just promise our grades will stay up…you know your sister will be minoring them like a hawk!"

Ami stared at the dark room before her. Her thin body leaning heavily on the closed door, she saw it…she saw what Pluto was doing… "I thought we had an understanding…" tears fell from her blue eyes as her body slide to the floor. "I'm so sorry Usagi…Mamoru…I promise I'll make things right…I promise"
