Well, hi.

Phil's P.O.V.

"Dan, I swear to god, if you dunk me one more time, I will kill you." I shout, wiping the water out of my eyes for what seems like the hundredth time. Dan just laughs and rolls his eyes.

"Oh, I'm sure you will." His hand grazes through the water, a wave of liquid hitting me right in the face.

"Okay, that's it!" I lunge towards my boyfriend, using all of my body weight to push him below the tide.

"Dog pile!" I hear Adam shout to all of the kids just before we're completely submerged in the lake. Kids jump onto my back, causing me to grin just a little bit. I open my eyes slightly to see a blurry outline of Dan. I wonder if his eyes are open too.

I push off of the murky bottom and launch up towards the surface, shoving kids off of me. As soon as I break back to the air, I flick my head, causing a spray of water droplets to slip off of my hair.

"Damn- I mean, dang it, Hayden!" Dan yelps, gripping his shoulder. "Did you bite me?" Hayden snickers while Dom gives him a quick high-five.

"You can curse around us, you know." Sammy says as a matter-of-factly.

"Yeah, we don't mind!" Brandon exclaims, flinging himself back into the water.

"Yeah, well, Bos does mind," Dan says, rubbing his shoulder. I nod.

"Well, he's an ASs,"

"Brandon!" I exclaim, laughing quite a bit.

"Yo, Dan, Phil, you guys are on break for the next hour and a half," Paula yells from the dock. As well as keeping the farm in order, she also lifeguards.

"Okay, thanks!" I yell back. "We'll see you boys later!"

"Have fun!" Sammy grins, waggling his fingers. I see Dan roll his eyes as we walk back onto the shore. He grabs our shirts and sandals for us off of a rock where we had left them before we head back up the steps that lead up to the main campfire area. Neither of us says a world until we're at the top of the steps.

"So, we have an hour," Dan says, smiling at me. We'll get one-hour breaks every other day. It won't always be together, but when we're doing multi-cabin activities, the other counselors are sure to let us sneak away.

"That we do," Out of the corner of my eye, I see him questionably raise an eyebrow at me. I smirk and shake my head.

"What?" He asks, turning on whatever innocence he may have.

"You know what. And we can't. Not now!"

"Well, why not?"

"Cabin checks, remember?"

"Who said anything about a cabin?"

"Jesus Christ," I chuckle. Maybe he's right. "Who knows, making out in a tree could be fun."

"Want to find out?" Dan asks, wiggling his eyebrows at me.

"I'd actually love to, but…" I bite my lip and nervously look towards the direction of the main office.

Dan sighs. "Yeah, Bos probably wouldn't be too keen finding us like that." He stuffs his hands in the pockets of his swim trunks. "Does he, you know, support…this?"

Shit. He asked the question.

I slowly shake my head, staring at the ground.

"Not exactly,"

"Oh,"

"Yeah,"

Silence. Brutal silence. It's not a gentle silence like the one we fall asleep in. It's sharp and interrupting. Painful.

"Well, nobody said he has to find out." Dan nudges me with his elbow.

"No, I guess not." I smile at him, an idea springing into my mind. "Hey, you wanna do something fun?"

He grins. "Of course, but only if you're there too."

"That's a given," I stretch out my hand, willing him to take it. He slips his hand from out of his trunks and clasps it with mine.

Dan's P.O.V.

I have no idea where we're going, or to put in in better terms, where Phil's taking me. He's explaining how we're going to have to cut through the woods or something to get there, but I'm far too busy to be completely listening. I mean, I'm paying attention, but my focus is mainly on his facial features. He's mesmerizing. His mouth forms words perfectly. I can see the Northern accent. There's a bit of stubble on his chin from a slight lack of shaving; it's almost not even visible. His nose is sloped downwards, coming to a point at the end, and then descending down again. His eyes, oh lord, his eyes sparkle in the sunlight, imitating a six-year-old's at Disney World. His eyes are bright blue today instead of a grey or light, light green. In a word, he's perfect.

"Oh, we're here!" Phil squeezes my hand rather hard. "Well, almost. We need to go through these bushes, then the woods, and then we'll pretty much be there." I nod and grin as he leads me through the thick brush. Thorns gently scratch my uncovered legs and blades of grass tickle my toes in almost a pleasant manner. I take a final step and find myself in a picture perfect forest. The array of trees looks as if it was painted just for a children's storybook. Leaves grow thickly from the branches, but somehow still allow sunlight to hit the messy ground. It's…beautiful.

"Holy shit…" I mumble to my self, Phil still pulling me along. We step over logs and under branches, avoiding small spider webs as we go. We walk for probably a minute before Phil stops abruptly in front of what seems to be a wall of tall grass and leaves lying on stone.

"Through here," He swipes his hand through the greenery, pushing it aside. I have to duck inside to enter. I imagine the cave to be dark, but instead, it's rather light. Cracks in the ceiling let the sunshine in, just as the trees did outside. I'm grinning and Phil's wrapping his slender arms around my waist, kissing my neck gently.

"Wow," My eyes graze the beautiful ceiling and the mess that grows on the walls.

"Adam, Peej, and I used to come here all the ti-" He stops midsentence. I can feel him tense up.

"Phil, what's wrong?" I turn to see him staring intensely to the other end of the cavern. "Phi-?" I stop myself just as Phil had. Across the mossy floor rests none other than PJ, along with another boy, one of the senior high kids, if I remember correctly. Wait. Isn't PJ the cabin leader for the senior high boys? Yeah, he is.

Shit.

"I'll update once a week."

Oops. Yeah, so I have three more chapters written. I'm literally too lazy to upload them. I'm going to try super hard to upload ASAP though. Yes. Ugh, I am so sorry.

Phancakes!
