Chapter Nine: What Comes Next

It's been a couple of days since Kylee and her friends went to the club. Most thought they had a good time except for all girls who went to their table to get Glass' phone number. Kylee couldn't help but feel a bit a jealous when they were close to her friend and to her friends, obvious love interest and "tachi" as Lonny would put it. Speaking of the Lopunny girl, she was starting intently at her phone. It was now lunch at their school and all three girls were on their usual eating place.

"For Arceus' sake just call her already." Trina told her friend.

Lonny sighed and put her phone down. "But what should I say? I mean she's obviously older than me."

This was first for her friend. She was the one hitting on others but this time a woman who was older hit on her. "True but at least she didn't hit on you like her friend did with Kylee."

Lonny was still undecided. "You have a point but she's a woman."

Trina pinched the bridge of her nose. "And that's a problem why? You've gone out with every guy you can find and some lasted a week and that's if some are lucky."

Lonny sighed. "It's just that I've never dated a girl before. Guys always ask for the same thing but this is entirely new. Hey Kylee, do you have any pointers?" She asked her friend but she didn't respond. "Uh Kylee?" She snapped her fingers at her but still no response. "Ok then." She shrugged and went over to her friend. Lonny suddenly grabbed the Leafeon girl's breasts and she let out a squeal.

"Eeehyaaa! Lonny!"

Her friend removed her hands off her friend's chest. "Hey you wouldn't look over my way so this was the only way for me. So why are you staring into space in the first place?"

Kylee sighed and turned her head. "It's nothing."

"And that's where you're wrong." Trina spoke up.

"Why do you say that?" Kylee asked.

"You have that look on your face when something important went wrong. You had the look after the night you left with Glass from the club. So what happened?" Trina wanted to know just what exactly happened to her friend.

Kylee blushed. "We um, I mean that I um…" She tried to explain but couldn't find the right words to say it.

Lonny gasped. "Don't tell me she took something that's precious to all pure maidens!" She grabbed Kylee by the shoulders and shook her. "Details now and don't skip the small stuff!"

Trina faceplamed at her friend's behavior. "For someone who nervous to talk to another woman, you're sure willing to know what happened between Glass and Kylee."

The Lopunny girl looked behind to her friend. "What? I just need some pointers."

Trina questioned her friend's logic. "For when you get to that step? That's pushing it a little too early don't you think?"

"It's not anything like that." Kylee spoke up. "We just walked to my house and she dropped me off. That's all."

Lonny let go of her friend's shoulders and sighed. "Come on that's all? Didn't you two try to kiss at least?"

That statement made the Leafeon girl blush. "N-No we didn't."

Trina gave out another sigh. "You still haven't told her have you? Kylee it's obvious you like Glass so just tell her already."

Kylee looked away and closed her hand to put it over her chest. "I know that but how do I tell her?"

"How about you just tell her up front?" Lonny suggested.

The Leafeon girl wasn't so sure about that idea. "Will that even work?"

Trina had to agree with Lonny. "She has a point which is rare. Sometimes the direct approach is the best way and there are way a lot of ways to do it. Confession letter, after a romance movie, the park, amusement park, summer festivals. The list goes on."

"All of them sound good but which one should I use?" Kylee asked.

"Just go for one that works best for you." Trina advised.

While the two girls were talking, Lonny was taking notes about how to make good first date. "I think a movie would be good…" She muttered to herself.

Kylee smiled at her friend. "Thanks Trina. I'll see which one is the best for me."

The other girl held up her hand. "No problem. You two make a good couple anyway." The bell rang which meant that lunch was over. "Come on, let's get back to class."

Kylee nodded. "Ok. Lonny let's go."

Lonny wrote down some last notes and put them back in her school bag. "Right. Hey hold up! Wait for me!"

The Battle Streets was bustling with people as always. Some watched the fights while others competed in order to fight the Street Kings. Two males and one female entered the street and the crowd was all eyes on one of them.

"Holy Arceus. Is that who I think that is?"

"No way. Why is she here?"

"One of the musketeers and one of the EG? In this place?"

"Who's the Umbreon guy?"

One of the males sighed. He had short white hair with a black highlight on the right side. He wore a white jacket with a black shirt underneath accompanied by white baggy pants. "I knew we were going get reactions like these. Why did you bring us out here anyway?"

The lone female of the group chuckled. "Because I saw some good talent while I was out a couple of nights ago." The lone female had long green hair with bits of yellow highlights in it. She wore a green jacket with light pink tank top underneath and also wore tight green jeans.

The third person who was following them still didn't understand why he was here with them. "I'm honored to be with you two but why am I here? I'm still in the academy."

The other male sighed again. "Because you're most familiar with this place as Virizon said."

The younger one laughed a bit. "Yeah but that was when I was with my kid sister. The place has changed a bit."

"Still doesn't change the fact you know this place Umbres. Now then…" He turned to Virizon. "Who are we looking for again?"

Virizon smiled coyly at the question. "We are looking for a girl in from the Glaceon race. Roughly around sixteen years of age. Is that good enough for you Ace?"

Well it was better than nothing but still… "A little but there a of lot girls in the Glaceon race."

Virizon wasn't worried about that that. "Yes but this one is quite unique. Umbres, where can we find some good info we can obtain around here?"

He pondered about the question. "Well some of the eateries here might have some information."

Well that was start for them. It was good as any. "Good then that's we'll start. I suggest we split up from here. We are looking for a girl from the Glaceon race, long blue hair and roughly sixteen years."

"Well at least we have start." Ace spoke. "Come on kid let's go."

Umbres saluted at him. "Yes sir." The group went their separate ways

Meanwhile in another part of the Battle Streets, a dazed out Glass was sitting at Outskirt Island. She recently had another battle with someone from the Exploud race and that was pain both in her ass and her ears. She managed to win in the end but barely. Her drink arrived five minutes ago but she hasn't taken one sip out of the straw.

"Jeez are you ever going to drink that?" Her friend Marby said as she came up to her. "I thought you would be at least thirsty from that last battle you had."

Glass sighed. "I am but a lot is on my mind recently."

"Oh is this about your girlfriend?" She added a teasing voice at the word girlfriend.

The Glaceon girl glared at her friend. "She's not my girlfriend! She's…uh, well…"

Marby giggled. "You just have it bad for her huh. So when are you going to break it to her?" Glass just looked away. "Glass?"

Her friend looked a bit worried. "I'm not sure how I can face Kylee. Not after what happened."

Marby was now interested and took a seat. "What happened between you two?"

The Glaceon girl leaned back into her chair. "I did something that wasn't supposed to happen."

Marby couldn't think of anything her friend would do to harm her friend/love interest. Yes she knew Glass is in love with the Leafeon girl. Anyone with a brain or half could see that. In the time she knew her friend, only Kylee was able to close to her. "What, you two had unprotected sex or something?"

Glass nearly fell off her chair when she heard Margo say that. She quickly regained her balance and slammed her fist on the table. "What? Hell no! We didn't so something like that Marby jeez!"

"Then what was it?" She really wanted to know now.

The Glaceon girl looked down with a somber look on her face. "I…" She mumbled the last part of the sentence.

Marby placed her hand beside her ear. "Say what?"

"I SAID I KISSED HER ALRIGHT!" Glass realized what she said out loud. Luckily for her no one paid attention except for Margo who was failing to contain her laugh.

Finally she just burst out laughing at Glass' embarrassment. She slammed her hand on the table while her other arm was around her waist. "Y-You're feeling bad because you kissed her? Why are you e-embarrassed by s-something like that? Ha ha ha ha ha."

Glass groaned at her friend. "I'm embarrassed because I didn't mean it."

Marby's laughs turned into giggles and soon calmed down. "What do you mean you didn't mean it?"

The Glaceon girl leaned back into her chair. "It happened after we left the club and I took her to her home. Her friends and we went our separate ways. I kissed her on impulse because the mood felt so right but I feel like I violated her. I took her first kiss and now, I don't know I feel bad about."

Her friend rolled her eyes. "Glass there are worse things than stealing a girl's first kiss. Only you would agonize over something that small. Let it go. I bet the Distortion World she was ecstatic that you were her first kiss."

Unknown to both girls, two people were walking up to them. "Hey Glaceon chick! We want to have word with you."

Glass sighed and stood up. "Look if you want battle me then win seven battles. Otherwise…" She looked at the two men and she went wide eyed. "No way. Why are you here?"
