Oh nuts please don't kill me :-;
Hey guys, I'm back…! Miss me? Hehe… I'm so so sorry I haven't updated! I have zero free time! D:
Anyway, How was everyone's Halloween? :D I was gonna be Little Red Riding Hood, but I never even got to wear my costume! Ah well, I can do it next year!
Anyway back to the story. After my long long hiatus I re-read my previous uploads and I'm actually very angry at myself. I am a COMPLETE feminist and I HATE when girls cry to much about ANYTHING and after I re-read I realized, I was going against myself! Danielle cries because of her thoughts? What the heck am I thinking! I'm so sorry guys that's not like her character at all! I make her cry in role-plays too! Ugh! So sorry!
I hope I make this a little more in character from now on, and if I don't, please tell me! I don't want to mess it up! Please tell me tips about my writing because honestly I hate the way I write! Whenever I read it I cringe…
Italics either are for thoughts or words from the last chapter.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE FAVORITES AND FOLLOWS! I never thought so many people would like it! Its great that the story has all this support!
And last but not least in my authors note, Reviews!
1. "Guest," said, "Very good, but a little confusing. Continue updating!" on April 29th
Thanks! What's confusing you? I'd be happy to explain! I'll try my best! :D
Also based off of reviews, some people have said yes to Tucker and Jazz but I'm not entirely sure anymore. I haven't got any direct negative things about it but from my end I'm turning away from it. The date will play out as I had intended for it to in the first place, but I may change it in the future. Please leave your thoughts below!
I hope I can update again soon, talk to you all when I can!
Dani
~Last Chapter~
"Are you sure of this?" The Fright night asked as he hovered over Dani.
"Of course." Dan said. "The present Vlad wants her back. He will have her back."
The Fright night nodded. "Alright, but we will have to be careful. This plan is quite…tricky as you know."
Dan rolled his eyes and made a portal in front of them. "Yes I know." He said. "Now go."
The Fright night quickly went into the ghost zone through Dan's portal.
Dan looked down at Danielle and smirked. "Enjoy life." He said as he went into the ghost zone. "While you can."
~Present~
Danielle woke up shivering. She tried to ignore it but she eventually couldn't. She tried to sit up. Her ghost sense didn't even go off because of how tired she was. She quickly pulled the blankets up around her, even though Dan had left it was still cold.
What time is it? She thought. How long have I been asleep…?
She looked around for a clock, having no luck she groggily stood up, one hand on her forehead and the other on the bed so she wouldn't fall. She tried to walk to the door put instead she tripped over some books and fell.
She groaned as she hit the floor, dropping like a ton of bricks. The sound was loud enough that obviously, and unfortunately, Danny and Sam both had heard her. She could hear them running up the stairs. They both immediately ran in and almost tripped over her. "What are you doing?" Danny shook his head, sighing as he tried to help her up.
Dani pushed his hand away, not wanting to stand. She sat up and leaned against the door, looking a bit worried. "How long was I out?" She asked.
"Thirty…forty minutes. Maybe an hour," Sam shrugged, "Not too long, why?"
"Just curious," She asked, a very noticeable bruise forming on forehead, which didn't help her headache. She winced and shut her eyes, her vision blurry. "What… What were you two talking about anyway?"
Danny wanted to ignore the question. "Well…" He said.
~Last Chapter~
"Sam can I talk to you?" Danny asked as Danielle looked away from both of them. Sam frowned and pulled him closer to her.
"You sure she won't leave?" She whispered trying not to let Dani hear, although she had.
"I won't I promise…" Dani said looking at Sam. Danny looked at her and she immediately took her eyes away. Sam believed her, Danny never lied, so why would she?
"I believe you" Sam said. Danielle looked at her in disbelief. Danny grabbed Sam's hand and the walked out of the room.
As Danny closed the door Danielle quickly fell asleep. He looked over at Sam, he seem worried as he walked down stairs.
"Whats the plan?" She asked, following him.
"…Still working on that," He stated, going all the way down to the lab. "Look," he said as she closed the door to the lab and walked down to him. "Dani said some things."
"What exactly did she say?" Sam asked, leaning against the wall.
"...I think she called me dad."
"Come again?" She laughed, "Really? Dad?"
Danny rolled his eyes and shrugged, "I don't know. That's what it sounded like. I think it might've been by accident though."
"She said dad, thought that was a bad thing to do, and tried to fix her mistake?"
"Something like that…" He sighed, "Something just doesn't feel right."
"Well, I wouldn't think so. You've never been called that."
"Not what I meant."
"Then what?"
"I just have a bad feeling about this… I feel like when she asked you for money the other day, even though she might not of meant to ask you specifically, I think she was supposed to find her back here," He said, shaking his head, "I know it doesn't make any sense."
"It does, in a way, but she stayed because she's sick and misses you, what else would she be here for? Vlad only made her for one reason."
"That's what I'm trying to figure out, but what if Vlad made her for something else?"
"...What made you think about this?" She asked, looking at him.
"She…" he sighed, "Kept telling me "he's back" and I don't know who she is talking about. I don't think its Vlad though. She seemed to get over it pretty quickly."
"When did she tell you?"
"In the lab. She had a nightmare."
"Well first off she was in a lab. Vlad created and tried to destroy her in a lab. So it would make sense if she had a nightmare about Vlad."
"Thats true.." Danny said, "I'll figure it out, don't worry."
Danny told Danielle that all they talked about was where she would stay each night until he figured out what to tell his parents. He couldn't tell her the truth yet so he had to lie. She believed him without a doubt, he'd never lie to her. Or so she thought. Since Jazz and Tucker were still out, Danny told her that she could stay in Jazz's room for now. Which she did, she didn't want to talk to anyone. Even though Danny really wanted to talk with her.
Dani sighed as she got up from the bed, going to look out the window. They new clothes she wore were a bright shade of pink, which she hated. Although she had to admit, the new clothes were nicer then her old worn out ones. She looked out the window and watched the sunset as she usually did when she was outside.
The truth was Danielle was just acting. She was scared and didn't understand what she was thinking. She couldn't stop seeing it, seeing Dan in front of her, seeing Clockwork hurt on the floor.
He couldn't die, She thought, I'm being stupid, he's already dead.
What kept coming to her mind was the fact that she could die. She wasn't even thinking clearly. Did she really care if she died? She'd still be a ghost right? Did it matter? She didn't have anything to live for. Danny was the only family she had.
Her mind was clouded with rage and dark thoughts about herself, Dan, Vlad, and even the future. Which she seemed to be learning about more and more every night. She didn't think about the good things that good happen to her, she simply ignored it. She looked straight out into the night from the bedroom, looking straight into the eyes of Vlad Plasmius. Her ghost sense didn't go off. Vlad looked straight at her.
He could see the anger sparked in her eyes, and he was enjoying it. He smirked, because for once, his plan was working perfectly.
Danielle sensed his presence and her blue eyes flashed an angry green.
That was chapter 9! Was it okay? I know it was short! Sorry! D:
Please tell me what you think! Thanks!
Dani
