***Hiruma Eyeshield 21***

Hiruma walked toward his apartment and couldn't help but smile, and not the one everyone was used to seeing. It was a soft smile and a smile that only one person ever got to see and she was waiting for him in their apartment and he couldn't help but think back to when he met the woman he was meant to spend his life with.

Flashback

During practice Hiruma was standing over on the sidelines ordering everyone around and pointing his gun and shooting at them if they slowed down. But was quickly pulled from his thoughts when Sena started talking to Mamori.

"Hey Mamori is there something wrong you haven't been acting like yourself today and it seems like something is really bothering you." Sena asked and that was when the whole team seemed to pay attention to the two, especially when Mamori gave a sigh and rubbed her head before giving Sena a smile.

"Well nothing is really wrong I have just been thinking about my cousin, who is supposed to be moving here and I am worried about her is all." Mamori said while looking up at the sky after that Hiruma didn't really care he wasn't worried about Mamori's cousin. But judging by the looks the team was giving Mamori they were wanting to hear more about her cousin and right when he was about to start shooting he heard a voice.

"MAMORI!" yelled a girl who was running toward them.

Everyone was surprised when the girl got closer and jumped and wrapped her arms around Mamori and hugged her tight.

"K-Kagome!?" Mamori said in shock before laughing and hugging her cousin back.

"What are you doing here I thought you wasn't going to be here for another day or so?" Mamori asked while looking at her older cousin.

Kagome pulled back and that was when everyone got a look at her and couldn't see how the two was related. Kagome didn't look anything like Mamori she was close to the same height but that was where it ended. This girl was built with a body that even models couldn't have, long black blue tinted hair that reached the back of her jean covered legs. But what really drew everyone's attention was the big bright blue eyes looking only at her cousin and smiling at her.

Hiruma didn't know what it was about this girl but he felt the need to know more about her and knew he wanted her on the cheerleading team. With her looks she would be a great distraction against some of the other teams especially the all-boys schools.

"Hahaha you are going to make a great cheerleader." Hiruma said while walking forward to look down at the small woman while holding his gun propped up on his shoulder and grinning at her. And controlled the widening of his eyes when she turned and focused her bright blue eyes at him.

Kagome was enjoying seeing her cousin it had been sometime since they had seen each other, but since she wasn't going into the past anymore and the jewel disappeared back inside of her. She had to agree with her mother and getting away from the shrine and starting a new life would be good. She was soon brought out of her thoughts when she heard someone guy saying she would make a good cheerleader. Turning she couldn't help but wonder what a demon was doing here, but quickly realized that he was a human and just human but she couldn't help but find him attractive especially with those ears.

"Um, I am sorry but I don't really feel the need to or want to be a cheerleader, and see know true point to being one." Kagome said while looking at Hiruma without flinching or looking scared that he had a gun like most people did.

Hiruma started chuckling he really liked this girl not many could look him in the eyes and not get scared of him. He thought quickly and decided to see if he could push her to change her mind about being a cheerleader. He couldn't help but think besides it working in the teams favor it would give him time to find more out about her.

"Kekeke well you would look nice in the uniform but I highly doubt that you could do most of the stunts they do, so I guess it's a good thing you don't want to do it." Hiruma said before turning away and walking back toward the field and couldn't help but grin thinking that he had got her.

"Hm, well I could probably do the same things the cheerleaders do, but since I don't know the cheers or what they do I guess it is a good thing you agree with me. It would be too hard on any of them to try and teach it to me right now anyway, and since I don't want to do it, it works out." Kagome said while smiling when she saw the blond freeze before looking over his shoulder at her with a frown on his face. She knew what he had tried to do by using reverse psychology on her and after everything that happened in her past she wasn't going to fall for it.

"Kagome, how would you be able to do the things like the cheerleaders do? I have never seen or heard you say anything about doing those kind of things." Mamori asked while tilting her head and looking at her cousin and wondering when Kagome could have learned something like that over the years.

Kagome couldn't help but smile after being trained by Sesshomaru, Sango, and Miroku, Kagome knew she could do things that no other human could and decided to show off a little.

"Mamori would you like to see? I didn't take lessons like others but a few of my friends helped me over the years and I pushed myself harder after learning to make myself better." Kagome said while moving away from the others while doing a single one-handed cartwheel and bouncing around when she landed on her feet.

"Kagome are you sure you can do it?" Mamori asked while looking at her cousin and wondering just what her cousin could do if she seemed that confident about her skills. When she saw Kagome nod and keep walking to the other side of the field before turning and facing them again she sighed hoping her cousin could do what she said she could.

Once on the other side of the field Kagome turned and smiled before exhaling and focusing, taking a run and go she couldn't help but think back to Sango teaching her and dodging Sesshomaru's attacks.

Everyone was shocked when they saw her start doing flips and jumps that even heavily trained people couldn't do. When she leaped into the air it truly showed the power in her legs because of how high and far she went.

Hiruma couldn't help but drool a little while watching this girl and it made him want her more not really just for himself, but on the cheerleading squad she would be awesome. When she did her last jump he couldn't help but marvel at the height she got. To get that high most would need a spring board or a trampoline, when she landed he couldn't look away from the smile that shined on her face and made her look like a goddess.

Kagome couldn't help but smile it had been some time since she had let herself go like that and couldn't help but feel the freedom again. When she looked at Mamori and grinned at the look her cousin had on her face of wonder, shock, and surprise.

"Well, Mamori what did you think?" Kagome asked while still smiling at her and watching how her speaking seemed to draw everyone out of their shock.

"K…Kagome! Where did you learn that!?" Mamori asked asking in shock as everyone still stood still watching Kagome with open mouths.

"Oh, it was something I learned from some friends and really enjoyed it so I try to keep myself in top form." Kagome said while only telling a little of the whole truth it was true she learned it from her friends but learning it to been hell.

"Hell, yeah you are sure as hell becoming a cheerleader!" Hiruma said while moving forward and looking at Kagome and he knew that just saying it wouldn't work so he had a feeling Kagome would want to spend time with Mamori and decided to play it off like that.

"Just think Mamori is the manager of the team if you become a cheerleader you can spend more time with her and help her out." Hiruma said and he had to bite back a groan when he saw her bite her lip.

Kagome couldn't really help it she did want to spend more time with Mamori and the cheerleading would give her a good reason to keep practicing.

"Okay I will do it." Kagome said with a smile.

It had been months after that and Kagome and Hiruma had gotten closer but neither wanted to admit that they liked each other and Mamori didn't know, her cousin liked the blond quarterback.

Kagome couldn't help but wonder when and if she should tell Hiruma how she felt but at the same time she was dodging Mamori, because every time she turned around her cousin was trying to set her up with someone. Kagome knew Mamori meant well but she was trying too hard and wasn't trying for the guy that Kagome wanted. Kagome help but sigh as she knew that her cousin was really excited about the game against Ojo theWhite Knights and Kagome had a feeling that she was going to try and set her up again.

Hiruma knew that after this game he was going to tell Kagome how he felt and make sure she never left his side. He had seen and heard of the fucking manager trying to set Kagome up on dates with guys and he was getting pissed. The only good thing was Kagome kept turning the guys and Mamori down every time they asked, which raised his hope that she would say yes when he asked her out.

Right when the game was about to start everyone was looking at the field because the devil bat cheerleaders where getting ready to do a cheer and dance before the game. All the males where watching for different reasons Ojo players where watching to see the girls along with most of their fans. The Devil bats and their fans where watching to cheer the cheerleaders on. Hiruma was only watching to see one cheerleader who wasn't on the field yet.

Looking around he saw Kagome standing away from everyone out of sight and couldn't help but wonder why till he saw he take off running, then started down flips till she landed right in the middle up front. They started doing there cheer and Hiruma noticed that Ojo's Shin Seijuro wasn't looking away from Kagome.

Seeing red he waited till the cheer and dance was over before moving to the middle of the field and grabbing Kagome and kissing her in front of everyone. Once he was done he turned and look at everyone and pulling a machine gun out he started shooting while yelling.

"She is fucking mine so everyone stay away from her!" he said before picking her up and carrying her back to their side of the field and setting her with the other cheerleaders.

Kagome couldn't believe what had just happened and was frozen in shock that Hiruma kissed her in front of everyone. Giving a shake of her head she cleared it and started blushing, Hiruma had kissed her and called her his, she couldn't believe it. Looking up at him she reached up and grabbed the front of his jersey and pulled him down and kissed him back.

Pulling away she looked up at him and smiled before giving him a peck again and looking at him.

"I love you Hiruma." She said while smile.

"Hehehehe, I love you too beautiful." He said while giving her the only soft smile.

"Now go beat those guys so we can go home."

"Ya Ha you know it." He said before turning and heading toward the field.

End Flashback.

Opening the door of his apartment Hiruma couldn't help but smile at the smell of Kaogme's cooking it had been a few years since they first met in high school but they were still together. Both in college and engaged to get married after they both finished.

Walking into the kitchen Hiruma say the one thing that in this world that truly made him happy and like everyone said about them, she was the angel to his devil. Walking up he wrapped his arms around her and kissed the side of her neck before turning her and kissing her.

Pulling back he grinned at her and drunk in her face something he knew he would never get tired of seeing. Even now years later he could never get enough of the sight of her or her touch there was nothing about her that he never thought wasn't perfect, and he was so glad she was his.
