The two of them picked him up and carried him as carefully as they could into the back of the Impala where they carefully placed him down onto the backseat. Dean nodded to Sam, went into the drivers seat where he turned on the engine and Sam could hear the heater coming on. Sam on the other hand went to the trunk and got out some blankets they had for situations like these. He put the blankets over Xander and rubbed his arms a little to help the blood circulate before going into the passengers side of the Impala. As soon as Sam's door closed they were off like a shot.

Sam looked at Xander to make sure that he wasn't going to stop breathing. Some time during the trip he reached over and felt Xander skin and felt that it was still very cold. He shared an anxious glance with his brother who then added even more gas and they were practically flying down the road. It would have been exhilarating or maybe even fun if it wasn't so dire.

It seemed like forever but in reality it was probably only five minutes before they pulled into the hospital emergency entrance. Xander was taken by emergency personal and put onto a gurney. Sam and Dean followed Xander up until the point where they were told that they couldn't follow him any further. Then they were stuck in the waiting room, both Winchesters hated the waiting room. They had both spent too much time in their short lives in it waiting anxiously for news that another member or their family was going to be okay. Which was one of the reason they tended to avoid it when they could and only came the hospital as a last resort.

Dean spent the first 15 minutes pacing up and down the hallway before finally sitting down on the hard uncomfortable seat that the waiting room had. Sam had sat down almost right away, due to the fact he had been given the insurance papers almost right away. At the moment though he had his head in his hands, and was trying to breathe deeply so that he could remain calm. Sam wasn't sure exactly how it was they came to care so much about Xander, it hadn't been a thing that had happened all at once but little by little. Xander wasn't related to them by blood but Sam and he was pretty sure Dean did as well thought of him like a brother.

They didn't have much in the way of family and he didn't want to lose what little family they did have. Sam was just glad that they had made Xander an ID that shared the same last name as the last names on one of their fake ID's, that way they could actually get information about Xander the way that they wouldn't be able to if the hospital knew that they weren't actually his brothers.

In fact at the moment they were waiting for an update since they hadn't gotten one since they had taken Xander away beyond the door that they couldn't cross. They had been waiting for about an hour when finally the fake name Sam had put on Xander's form was called.

"Family of Alexander Peterson." It took Sam a moment to remember that that was the fake name he had put down. However when he remember he stood up in unison with Dean and the two of the them made their way over the doctor. The doctor was an older woman with half gray hair and half dark brown hair, and she had several wrinkles on her face. The doctor glanced down at the chart in her hands and then back at them.

"Is he okay?" Sam found himself asking without being conscious of the fact that the words had left his mouth until the doctor answered.

"Alexander prognosis is good." She said with a short nod and looked back down at the chart. "He had a blood transfusion so the blood loss isn't as much of an issue anymore. However, he

has hypothermia so it's going to take a little while to normalize his body temperature." Sam nodded filing the rest of that stuff all away for later, all he got out of it was that Xander was going to be fine, and that was great.

"However we aren't sure exactly what's causing his symptoms normally a person would have woken up by now at least for a moment or two." Sam nodded again but this time for a different reason, he knew why, which was because he was still in the dream state that the Djinn had put him in. A state that they were going to have to take him out of. Going into other people's heads wasn't his favorite thing, he felt like he was intruding on their innermost thoughts and desires. However, they had to get Xander out of his head and back to his daughter. "He appears to unresponsive to any stimuli." she continued knocking him out of his thoughts. Yeah that was consistent with the being under the Djinn's illusion. He wasn't going to start responding until they knocked him out of his head but they couldn't do that until they could see him.

"When can we see him?" he asked almost in union with Dean. She looked between the two of them for a moment.

"Visiting hours aren't until 4 and then only for a little while." she told them, Sam nodded. He had until 4 to get the supplies ready and then they were going to go into Xander's mind and they were going to break him out.
