"Shit!" Regina said as she slammed the door shut.
Now she wasn't just in house arrest and the most hated woman in town but she was also being blackmailed with her life. And Rumpelstiltskin would know if she lied, he knew too much about her life already.
It was Friday, she had two days until the meeting, two days to decide what she was going to do. But she wasn't going to give her life up to a wraith, that much was clear to her.
Regina paced around the house feeling more and more trapped with every step until she couldn't take it anymore, she grabbed the her coat off the hook and pushed the door open and left, not even bothering to lock it behind her.
She walked through the streets quickly with power behind every step, occasionally she would meet eyes with someone else. Many looked away in a moment, others stared, she didn't bother with them they were not her problem now. She wasn't even sure where she was going until she was standing outside Mary Margaret's apartment. She looked at the door, slightly confused as to how she had gotten there, the walk over had felt a bit like she was in a daze. She knocked and it wasn't long before Mary Margaret answered the door.
"Regina!" She said surprised stepping back.
"I've come to see Henry." Regina said without thinking, of course that was why she had come here, her logical mind finally realizing her motives.
"Regina." Emma said standing up and walking to the door, "This isn't what we agreed."
"I would like to see Henry." Regina repeated, some of her anxiety coming out through her voice.
"He can come and see you Regina, you are supposed to be under house arrest." Emma replied again in a calm voice.
"I know that Miss Swan, I don't need for you to speak to me like a child!" Regina snapped, "But I couldn't stay there is Henry here?"
"Did something happen?" Emma asked taking notice of how Regina's hands were clenched into fists.
"Henry's out." James spoke up from the other side of the room, standing up to walk over to the door if need be.
"I'll go then, could you tell him that he is welcome home anytime." Regina said.
"Of course." Emma said, "Regina, would you like to come in, you could wait for him here."
"Emma?" Mary Margaret asked concerned
"Besides we should probably iron out the details about Sunday." Emma finished.
"Fine." Regina said stepping over the threshold and standing awkwardly in the small entry way.
"Let's sit at the table." Emma suggested, started to walk over herself. Regina joined her and rested with hands face down on her legs.
"So we have a meeting scheduled for 2 pm on Sunday and I suspect that it will go for about 2 hours but there isn't any scheduled end time. It will be held at the town hall." Emma started.
Regina nodded silently.
"We have informed the town people, some are gathering to come up with the formal list of question that I may get to you before hand, Granny is organizing that."
Regina continued to nod.
"So we need you to show at 2, if needed I can escort you over."
"That won't be necessary." Regina stated, "I know the way around my own town."
"Fine." Emma said, "Do you have any questions?"
"No." Regina said.
"Did something happen?" Emma asked.
"I don't know what you mean Miss Swan?"
"It is just...you are asking a bit odd."
"How would you expect someone in my situation to act?" Regina asked.
"I'm not sure...it is just...no one came and visited you did they?"
"Only Rumpelstiltskin" Regina answered, "to see an old friend." Regina rolled her eyes and wondered to herself why she was being so honest.
"What did he want?" Emma asked.
"Oh you know, asked me about magic and blackmailed me." Regina said.
"He blackmailed you?" Mary Margaret chimed in.
"What did he want from you?" James asked.
"My honesty on Sunday." Regina stated.
James smiled a bit at this, as if he knew he had someone else on their side.
"He is blackmailing you for the truth with secrets?" Emma asked.
"Oh no." Regina stated, "He is blackmailing me with my life." Regina said, gently tracing the raised line on her palm left by the Wraith's token.
"Excuse me?" Emma asked.
"You aren't pleased." Regina asked.
"No of course not...we aren't holding a gun to your head Regina, we just think this is what is best for everyone, the best way for everyone to move forward, you included."
"What do you mean he is blackmailing you with your life?" Mary Margaret asked.
Regina picked up her hand and finally revealed it, placing it palm up on the table showing the marks.
"Are you familiar with a wraith?" Regina asked.
"No.." Emma said.
"They are soul suckers." Regina said, "They are already dead so they can't be killed, but they still feed on other's lives, the ones that have been marked. Rumpelstiltskin has marked me."
"Well then why hasn't it come after you?" James said.
"You would like that wouldn't you?" Regina asked.
"That isn't what I said..." James started.
"The wraith isn't here, it is in a different land, if I don't do what he says, which is now tell the truth he will open up a portal and let it through...and then it will kill me." Regina interrupted him.
"We will stop it then." Emma started.
"There isn't a way to" Regina said frustrated.
"Wait..." Mary Margaret said, he can open up a portal between lands, then we could get back to the Enchanted Forest.
"No." Regina stated.
They looked at her for more of an explanation.
"Rumplestiltskin has a lot of objects, I suspect it is one of those objects that will open up to a land with a wraith. Someplace smaller than the Enchanted Forest is easier to open up a portal to...someplace like Oz or Neverland have their fair share of wraiths."
"Well then we just need a more powerful object." Mary Margaret started.
"No" Regina said getting frustrated that they weren't understanding her. "It isn't a matter of a more powerful object...I had to cast a curse to get here...and besides no matter how hard you try you won't get back to the Enchanted Forest."
"And why is that?" James asked.
"Because it doesn't exist anymore. There is no Enchanted Forest."
