Atlas woke up the next day in the bunker he shared with Knighter to find Knighter standing over him yet again. "Knighter! Seriously don't that anymore you nearly scared me to death that time." He pushed the dragon off his bed and grabbed his helmet while the dragon spoke. "Sorry, but I needed to talk to you about what were going to do about them if we have to let them join us." Atlas sat up knowing that Knighter was right and that the danger that was ahead of them was going to be nearly impossible.

"Yeah but if we don't get those maps from trader Johann than there is no guarantee that we will be able to reach the islands needed to get to... that one." Both could not say the name for they were so close to leaving for the island in question. "Knighter if we have to let the join us than we have to take them to a certain island that would present a challenge to them that would nearly be impossible to pass. It would have to be challenging enough that it would present a challenging scaring them away, but not to us."

Both went over to the charts on the table and Atlas took out his journal to place certain dragons to certain islands. Using the maps they had right then the two found the right island that would give them the quickest root to their island. "Atlas are you thinking of going to the island with the strange stones that seem to follow you around with strange wings on them?" "Knighter, come on even I wouldn't be that stupid to take them to that death trap of an island. After all the last time we were there both of us were almost killed by those… very creepy and… very strange looking rock formations. I can still hear the screaming from those that were… and I don't think that blue box will be back any time soon."

With that they went back to work and both decided to go to a different island that had allot of caves with creeping dragons that like to hunt by taking it's prey underground. But after a while they decided that it would be the best thing to go and try to leave the group behind and go it they follow him. So with everything done Atlas packed everything they needed and the two took off on their trip with the maps. But they took off right as Hiccup and the gang had packed all their stuff to head out with Atlas for they knew that he was going to do something like this.

The group went and got on their dragons to go after Atlas at a safe distance to avoid being detected by him. "Why didn't I expect this from him." Astrid spoke to herself as they all chased after Atlas who was heading up into the clouds to avoid detection. Sometime during the night though Stoic had found Johann and got the maps for Atlas, so that was why they were all ready to take off at a sudden notice. Knighter stopped on dragon island though to rest for the rest of the day before they really set out on their mission.

"Knighter maybe leaving in broad daylight wasn't the best idea to do when trying to leave and island unnoticed." Knighter shook his head in agreement for the two just noticed that everyone was following them while trying to be secretive about it. With that Atlas got off Knighter and sat down to look at his charts in an attempt to waist time while he waited for night to fall. The others went and rested just out of his sight on a cliff that overlooked his camp sight just in case he made a run for it.

"Atlas I don't think we will be… able… to… OK now that is an impressive trick." Knighter didn't finish for Atlas was already going from rock to rock trying to sneak up on the camp the others had set up. Meanwhile Hiccup was talking with his friends. "Atlas really must not want us to go with him if he tried to take off without telling us." Everyone shook their heads in agreement than Snotloud spoke knowing that Atlas messed up on something. "If he really didn't want anyone to see him he should of left in the middle of the night instead of broad daylight." Again everyone nodded in agreement for Atlas was really messing up, and normally he was the one to be even more sneaky than Toothless and Hiccup at night time.

"Yeah it probably was a bad move but come on no one in their right mind would leave during broad daylight making it the best time to try and escape without being noticed." Atlas was leaning against a big rock just off to the side and startled everyone when he spoke for they weren't expecting him to get this close to camp so quickly without being noticed. "Next time stay at a distance that you can see me, but I can't hear the wing beats of your dragons."

Atlas took out his whistle and blew it, thus telling Knighter to come on up with all their stuff that they had brought for the trip. "Well he does have a good point with those dragon ears of his after all." Fishlegs sat off to the side and spoke realizing that they had also made a mistake by forgetting about Atlas and his Night Fury ears. With that Atlas sat down with the group and after getting comfortable he took out his charts and than got the ones that the group had to go over them side by side.

After a while Astrid spoke again upon seeing what the flight path Atlas had in store for them went king of out of the way. "Atlas wouldn't it be easier to go along this flight path to reach your island?" She pointed toward the path that seemed to be the quickest and after a time Atlas spoke while taking out his journal. "It would be if there wasn't a bunch of sea dragons in that area just waiting to attack those foolish enough to go over it. Than there is the Dart Gliders that like to zoom right into you in an attempt to take you out so it can eat your remains."

With that Atlas flipped threw his journal to his page with information on the dragons he just named and pointed toward the speed that they were able to get to. "This is actually the safest way for the unexpired… well besides going this root that would take a week of nonstop flying over open waters." He put his finger along the path in question that he took to reach their island in the first place before looking at the charts. He used his journal to calculate another root before crossing it it out and starting on another one that was faster than the others.

No one disturbed him and they all went to the side to let him have his time to work knowing that it would take a while to plan a good path. The dragons though were sharing stories of their past adventures with Knighter who was also doing the same with them. Every now and than someone caught a quick glimpse of Atlas flight path as he compared both charts and used his journal to make it. Finally when he settled on a certain path he put both carts away and spoke to the group and their dragons. "You all might want to get some rest for I'm heading out a dusk, the safest time to travel between these islands by the way."

With that Atlas fell asleep resting his head on Knighter while the dragon did the same and somehow they were able to do so without any problems. The rest of the group fell asleep after a time only to be rude awoken by Atlas as the sun started to set. Then they all got into formation with Knighter in front of them all leading the way with Atlas using the stars to guide them. "Adjust coarse five degrees port off of Thor's hammer." The twins were confused at first thinking that it was in opposite directions but they followed the group as they were heading away from them after a time.

They all flew until the sun was high in the sky and Snotloud not happy about it spoke up thinking no one else would. "When are we going to get a break from all this flying?" Atlas didn't speak until the twins dragon Barf and Belch started to drift down toward the ocean. "Alright turn thirty degrees to starboard and keep on flying for about five minutes and we will reach land to rest on." With that the group went and found a small island that was just big enough for them to rest on with no danger of being seen by any unwanted visitors.

They all ate in silence and after that they started to rest for the next night wondering if they will meat any new strange dragons. Atlas and Knighter took terns at watch just in case any dragons decided to come and great them. Hiccup though kept watch to make sure that Atlas and Knighter didn't make a run for it but some time when the sun was about to set he spoke. "Hiccup… you need your rest if you want to stay in flight right beside us… don't worry about me I won't make a run for it."

With that Hiccup fell asleep and Atlas after making sure he was spoke to Knighter wanting to get some information. "Knighter, do you know anything else about those dragon I called Forgotten? It's been bugging me sense I looked into the eye's of the one we saw a few years ago…" The dragon opened one eye and looked at him before speaking with interest in the topic as well. "I am just as confused as you are about those dragons… if any one see's them than we might have to make a run for it." The two fell silent and asleep shortly after deep in thought as to the problems that could arise if they see any of them.

They both woke up a bit later and Atlas took out his journal and maps to go over their root from their current location. The others slowly woke up and they ate a bit of food before getting on their dragons and heading off in the direction he pointed out from the stars. Everyone started talking while keeping eye's on Atlas, but soon Hiccup had come up beside him and spoke. "If you don't mind me asking why did you suddenly decide on going back to the island your family perished on?" Atlas heard the Night Furies's insult each other again and shook his head before speaking to Hiccup. "I just been having a nightmare recently about the village and the people who dissipated on the island. Will you two stop insulting each other and at least try to act more like friends than rivals or anything, and you should especially know the dangers of this Knighter."

Hiccup realized Atlas was talking to the dragons and shook his head knowing that he was talking to the dragons. "Why is it that our dragons keep fighting with each other?" "Night Furies aren't that friendly with each other… I even have a fight or two with Knighter when we want to do separate things… EVERYONE DOWN NOW!" With that everyone went into a dive and followed Atlas as he looked behind them in fear while Knighter did his best to lead them in evading their attackers. "Cave right off to the starboard side, everyone in now!"

This being his second time in the area and avoiding the dragons, everyone was able to enter the cave and they did so just as their pursuers passed them. As they settled in Knighter used his wings to hide the entrance to the cave and Atlas spoke after he knew it was safe to. "I call those dragons that were just chasing us Darts the reason is, because they are faster than any Night Fury… Lets not go into details on my first encounter with them, it was kind of messy and I wasn't able to move for a week." With that he went and sat down against the wall next to Knighter as the dragon relaxed a bit while making sure to keep the entrance hidden.

Toothless and Hiccup went and sat on the opposite wall in front of the entrance so every now and than Toothless took over for Knighter. "Well it must be a good thing if they are working together… what exactly are you looking at in their Atlas?" At that Atlas looked up from his journal and spoke while doing his best to keep the last page in his journal hidden. "Ah… it's just some information I have about some of the various dragon species in the area… just try not to get on the bad side of them and you should be fine." After that he went and grabbed an eel from his bag before tossing it to Knighter who ate it with great enthusiasm.

"Normally every dragon except a Tyfoomerang will stay away from eels, for if the eat them the dragons will get sick." Hiccup looked as Atlas shook his head and shivered a bit when Knighter slurped up the eel in one motion while eating it. "Normally yes it would be a problem but… after a while he was able to build up an immunity to the effects… it was either that or… never mind." The others who had been in the back were talking with each other while wondering what other strange dragons they will meat on their journy. The sight of the eel though did freak the dragons out but they were fine after Knighter ate it and even they shivered when the dragon slurped it up.

Atlas was once again going threw his journal and every few pages he chuckled to himself as he relived the memory of his encounters with some dragons. After a while ho looked at Knighter and the dragon shook his head in their silent way of telling each other to leave while the others slept. Toothless saw this motion though and started to plot on a way to follow the two in an attempt to find out what they were hiding. Of coarse Atals knew that it would be harder to slip away from Toothless and Hiccup so he decided to go and get some water.

He would obviously lace the water with something that would knock them all out before going and leaving them with the charts obviously. "Well if it isn't that much of a problem than I will go and make a water run to some springs not that far away from here." As he was about to get up and take Knighter though Astrid spoke up thinking she knew what he was going to do. "Oh no you don't, you're not taking your dragon with you… Hiccup I think it will be better if he took Toothless instead to be on the safe side."

Atlas sighed as Hiccup realized what Astrid was doing and both Night Furies shook their heads not liking what was going to happen next. "That is a great idea Astrid, this way Knighter stays here with us, so we can keep an eye on him, while Toothless keeps an eye on Atlas." The others agreed and soon Atlas was off on Toothless with the water containers leaving Knighter and all his stuff behind. "Hey calm down I'm not that happy about this either OK? Look we work together we can get done faster and as such get back faster which means you have to deal with me less." Toothless who was doing his best to give the rider a hard time glanced back at him before smoothing out his flight and going to his fastest speed.

It was only one minute before the two landed on a small rock outcropping in front of a small mountain spring. Atlas hopped off Toothless and went over to it to fill up to containers while Toothless sat on the edge looking out at the sea. "Just hurry up and fill the water with some water, and I will be able to tell if you do something to it so don't." "Yeah, yeah I know… come on do you really think I would be that desperate to get rid of you by doing something to the water? I mean come on with Knighter I could get away with lacing it with some sleeping agents to knock you all out but you… forget it."

Atlas shook his head as he was filling up the last thing of water before putting the cork back in and turning around. As he was walking back over to Toothless though he slipped on some wet rocks and fell into the water below. He did his best to try and swim over to toothless but the water in the area was to strong for him to fight against. "Knighter! Oh wait… Toothless I could use some help here!"

Atlas screams were herd by Toothless who just glanced over at him before returning his focus to the ocean. "Help yourself." Was the only thing Toothless said before he got up on the rock and also slipped off into the water. The two struggled in the cold water, and after a while Atlas had managed to swim on over to the dragon and was trying desperately to get on the saddle. After he did the two took off and while in flight Atlas got an idea on how to distract everyone with them.

Reaching into one of his vest pockets he pulled out a weak version of coffee that he had made, and slowly but carefully he made Toothless take it. Upon doing so though the dragons eye's went wide as the caffeine kicked him into turbo mode and Atlas had to hold on very tight just to stay on. "This is was a terrible idea… note to self never give the real deal to a dragon." After a few moments of trying to wear the dragon out they returned to the cave and Toothless started to run circles around it. Atlas had to jump off and toward the front to avoid being run over as the Night Fury started looking at everything and everyone.

"Uh… what happened to Toothless… and why is he so jittery?" Hiccup ducked as he spoke to avoid getting knocked over as Toothles jumped over his head and fired a shot outside the cave. The shot was very powerful though and it exploded outside the cave with enough force that some of the loose rocks fell down the cliff upon the shock wave hitting the cliff. "I have no clue what so ever Hiccup… I have no clue." After Atlas spoke Hiccup and the others went to try and catch Toothles down and being sneaky Atlas grabbed his bag, but as he did the charts fell out of his bag and he got on Knighter and left without ever noticing them.

The two left as Toothless started to do another round of running and jumping while in his caffeine fueled state. As the two left though at their highest speeds Toothelss not forgetting what he saw quickly reacted by getting Hiccup on him and jumping out of the cave. The two took off at very high speeds even for a Night Fury leaving the others to look out in wonder. Astrid looked around and saw the carts on the floor and she walked over to pick them up before speaking. "That little… Atlas gave Toothless something and in that confusion he sneak off in an attempt to get us to go back."

Atlas and Knighter took the quickest root to the island and were able to easily avoid the Darts, and the sea dragons. They were still going at their top speeds, but behind them Hiccup and Toothless were gaining on them. "Whoa! OK now bud I think this has gone to far." Hiccup was having the ride of his life as Toothless was catching up to the other two, but due to this being the short rute they reached the Island that Atlas wanted to get to first.

As Atlas and Knighter were landing though the caffeine finally worked its way out of Toothless' system and it was replaced with drowsiness. So as a result Toothless fell asleep mid flight and right as Knighter landed, atlas could hear the screams of Hiccup as he and Toothless came in for a crash landing. This caused the two to look at each other before they went over to the crater that was formed to make sure that Hiccup and Toothless were alright. "Never… Never do that again hear me!"

Well I just got a new idea on how to continue this people so here it is. I got the ideas from the part in the movie Hoodwink when the squirrel had some coffee, and I also got an idea from the recent episode The Eel Effect. Than there is the recent dream I had of me actually taking the place of Atlas and trying to get out of a whirlpool while yelling at Knighter to help. He ended up jumping in the water and ended up partly under it while I tried to hook up the harness in a futile end-ever, it didn't end well I'm afraid. Well that's it for now people until next time never give a Night Fury coffee or it might get hyper and do al sorts of strange things.
