Chapter 8–What a Day to Forget
Hey guys, I like this chapter I think it's an interesting look into what life would have been like for Cassie if Wyatt had never been around, the problem is it would have been worse! Anyway I don't own Charmed but Cassie is my demon-witch girl! Enjoy.
I woke up this morning with no clue about where I am, but I knew I was in the upper-world. This wasn't right, I belonged in the underworld. I am a demon. An evil demon, but this was my room, I could tell that by the weapons that were around it. I had an assortment of knives, alchemist tools and a darklighters bow and arrow.
I got up and walked over to the wardrobe when it came back to me. I was here to kill Christopher Perry, and take his body back to the future. That way the Charmed ones would die sooner than they did in the future, therefore more of my father's demons would survive. I was one of the best assassins out there, which was why I was giving this mission by my father. I quickly got dressed into my leather trousers and corset top, grabbing my knife belt and pulled the bow and arrow from the darklighter onto my back. They were the objects I needed to complete my mission.
I shimmered into the club P3, which Piper owned. Walking quietly through the front room, sensing Chris' present in the back. I stopped short when I heard a voice I recognised from the future, an elder.
"I can see that," He said, I moved into the shadows to avoid detection by anybody, "Are you drinking beer?"
Chris scoffed, "I was gonna pay for that."
"Chris what are you doing sitting around here aren't you supposed to be getting to know your new charge?" Leo questioned.
As if she was called a young girl wearing what I could guess was one of Chris' shirts appeared in the doorway, nearly next to where I was hiding, "Hi Leo."
"Okay before you get mad you were the one who wanted me to have a charge in the first place remember?" Chris tried to make up an excuse.
"Yeah, to protect her," Leo said sounding a bit confused.
"Oh, he was using protection," The girl helpfully stated.
"Yeah, I don't think that's what he meant," Chris informed her.
"Chris, are you out of your mind, beside from this being completely out of line. It's also against the rules," Leo said.
Chris laughed, "Yeah, you're one to talk."
"I don't think that's what his point," I could tell this girl was going to get on my nerves unless I removed her as well, it wasn't going to be much of a problem, I could tell she had only just got a whitelighter so must have only just become a witch, "Why don't I just leave you two alone," she suggested before walking backwards into the bar area.
I decided that if I could remove her getting to Chris would be a whole lot simpler. I followed the girl out into the bar area while Chris and Leo kept talking. She sat down at a bar stool facing away from me with a drink in her hand. Now usually I would lengthen this out and make the kill worthwhile, but in this case I had to be quiet. Didn't want an elder coming in and ruining the fun now do I?
I walked up slowly behind her taking one of my knives off my belt and stabbing it straight through the back of her neck, not giving her a chance to scream or make any sound at all before her death. Her body slumped forward and I quickly picked her up and carried her into one of the supply cupboards, dumping her body for someone else to find later. She was just collateral damage.
"Natalie, he's gone you can come back now," I heard Chris call from the other room.
Smiling sadistically to myself, I made my way to the doorway, not really caring if I was seen this time, "Natalie, was that her name?" I questioned leaning against frame of the door.
Chris jumped off the bed and away from me, "Who are you?"
"Oh come on Chris, you should recognise me. If you don't it's no fun," I said smirking moving more into the room so the light hit my face.
"Cassandra," Chris breathed, fear in his voice.
"Finally Christopher! You know you really shouldn't have come back into the past, you know," I said stalking forward, "It's a dangerous thing. I will take great pleasure in doing this."
"Come on Cassandra," Chris begged jumping up and trying to find somewhere to escape to, "I can't remember why I travelled back into this time. And as for you and me."
"You and I have nothing to do with this," I yelled at him, losing my coolness for a moment, "You used me to kill my family, now I will kill you then remove the Charmed ones from existences," I said launching at him, unluckily Chris chose that exact moment to orb. I caught onto the edge of it and found myself being orbed into the attic of the Halliwell manor.
I grabbed hold of Chris before he could move again and grabbed a darklighter arrow with my other hand before stabbing it into his side, "I want this to be really, very painful for you Christopher Perry."
Before I could shimmer us both out of here I heard someone coming up the stairs, this gave me the perfect opportunity to kill the Charmed ones as well.
I pulled Chris' body and myself into a corner of the room, before casting a cloaking charm onto us, I watched as both Phoebe and Paige walked into the attic, "Hang on so you're telling me you caused a riot?!" Paige questioned sitting down on the sofa.
I felt a movement beside me and turn to see Chris looking at me, "Isn't this fun?" I whispered to him, "You get to watch while I remove the Charmed ones from existence and you can't do a thing about it!"
Chris tried to speak, but all that came out were strange sounds, that didn't come from any language, "Don't bother trying to speak," I said flattening his hair on his head, "The poison is quick acting, I didn't want any chance for you to escape."
I put my finger against his pulse, feeling it slow with great satisfaction, "Piper!" I heard Paige yell, drawing my attention back to the scene in front of me.
Piper walked in through the door, "Hey you okay?" Phoebe asked Piper, "I'm feeling a very emotional vibe from you right now."
"I'm fine stopping that," Piper responded immediately, "What I don't understand is, if you don't remember the riot how do you know you started it?"
"I had a vision, and by the way the vision occurred yesterday," Phoebe explained.
"Maybe you were channelling somebody else's anger," Paige suggested.
"Probably I just don't remember," Phoebe said sounding tired.
"So you both have events that you don't remember from yesterday," Piper summed up. I could use this to my advantage, if a demon was messing with their memories it gave me the perfect opportunity to mess with everything else, Chris' heart rate was even slower than before, almost none existence.
I was drawn back into the conversation by Piper's voice, "But these all seem like such random moments to forget. What's the connection?"
"That's why we wrote a spell to find out," Paige said producing a piece of paper.
"We know you might be reluctant cause of the last time we case a spell on your memories but..." Phoebe began.
"You're right let's do it," Piper said. It took me a moment to realise that I could no longer feel a pulse underneath my fingers, I held one of my knives over Chris' mouth and watched to see if it fogged up at all. It didn't, Christopher Perry was officially dead. I shut his eyes which had been staring at the ceiling, before his body just began to fade away. If a person had not been born yet how could they possibly have a body in the past, I reasoned with myself vaguely hearing the sister's spell casting in the background. The world seemed to be spinning suddenly around and around before I landed crashing on the attic floor and feeling everything come back to me.
So that was that Chapter, I hoped you enjoyed it. If you did you know the drill, review and let me know what you think. I always like to know how I can improve my work.
Until next time
