The ring I gave to Percy, that he gave back too me when he left, is missing. I feel terrible for losing that ring. That was all I had left of my brother, my mentor, my first crush, even if the feelings were never returned beyond brotherhood and comrade. I get up and get ready to walk out the door and backtrack. Let's see. I went to Katie's house.

Selina

I walk into a small cafe by Katie's and step in line. "Hi!" a guy next to me says. He's tall and has shaggy blonde hair that falls in his eyes, like a surfer. His clear blue eyes look strait into me. "Um, like, hi," I say shifting uncomfortably in front of a hot guy like him. "Do you come here a lot?" he asked. "Yeah, a couple times a week," I replied. "Well then," he asked again ,"What do you recommend?" I'm still a little nervous, but this guys laid back attitude is just so chill and calming. "The Eiskaffee is really good, its like chilled coffee with milk and sugar and ice cream," I say to him. "Sounds delicious. Oh, by the way, my name is Luke!" he says. "Cool, my name is Selina" I tell him. "Yeah, you wanna meet up later? I know a really cool view of the city," he says. We move to the front of the line and order our coffees. We walk to the door together and Luke whispers something in my ear that shocks me. "Meet up with me at this address." He hands me a slip of paper "And I can tell you all about Nico, Percy, and demigods," he says "Oh and one more thing. There traitors and murderers. I hate to do it, but we have to kill on sight," were his last words and he slips off into a sudden crowd of people. I was in a daze, but I put the slip in my pocket.

Nico

I start walking that way and I get to Katie's front door before I decide I should probably do another check. As I turn around I see Selina with her hands in her pockets turning the corner in front of me. I know its a bad idea to follow her, I know it, but I have to see where she's going.

I walk briskly, almost jogging, until I'm about twenty feet behind her and slow my pace. She keeps her head down and pulls her hood up before ducking into a dingy ally that leads to a more unsavory part of town, Roach City. Now I was definitely curios about what she was going to do. I tail behind her into the ally. As if she can feel my eyes on her back, she turns quickly on her heel. I have just enough time to jump behind a dumpster that smells lke rotten fish. She looks around for a moment before she proceeds walking. I slip back from the dumpster just as she glances around again. " Ah Ha!" she yells " I knew I was being followed!" "Relax its just," I can't finish my sentence before she interrupts "Look I'm going to meet Luke right now so just chill. I said I'd let him explain himself so I will. You don't have to , like, follow me!" She stops talking as she realizes its me. Luke. His name was enough to make me want to punch a concrete wall. She was going to meet Luke! I force my voice to remain calm and persuasive, not showing any of my anger or hate. "Um, yeah, my name is Nico. But I know Luke, and let me tell you, he's not a nice guy." This mission had changed from finding Percy to saving a half-blood from that bastards lies in a heartbeat. I would not let another demigod fall to Luke and Kronos, and if it took my life, then so be it. "At least he didn't try to kill me! Now I'm going to meet a friend so you can just leave me alone before he kills you," she says. "Kill me?" I question. "Yeah. He told me all about you. How your friends betrayed him to the evil gods that hate mortals. How you betrayed him too, the guy he thought of as a lover! And now he's lost." As she spoke I realized how deep in Luke had her. She was caught in the web of lies had crafted. This was bad. This was very bad.
