I haven't seen any of season 4 of Austin & Ally yet I'm continuing this after finally curing myself of writer's block.

Oh dear.

Austin POV

Ally wasn't kidding when she said that a good way to let your feelings out is through music.

Don't you dare think that I'd start skipping down the school halls blasting Beethoven in my earbuds, and ballet twirling myself into class because that's what Ally had imagined and laughed her ass- head off about for a good five minutes.

As I was saying, music is a nice way to let your feelings out. I've always partaken an interest in many genres of music, and I can play practically every instrument. Yeah, yeah, you might be wondering:

"He always complains that he can't let his feelings out through anything except his embers, but he can play every INSTRUMENT? OH MY GOD."

Cool it with your drama, I can explain why you may be thinking this.

Ally explained to me that I need to actually try to express my feelings in music, instead of just excelling in playing its instruments. AKA: "Show emotion other than anger, dammit!".

Apparently, because (she claims) she's a songwriter, she can help me. All the while I need to help HER with her embers. She's trying to help me with her thing, and I'm trying to help her with mine. This is gonna be tricky, due to the fact that it involves having to do the thing we're trying to distract ourselves from to teach the other person how to do it. Ally really didn't think this through, but I'm not gonna tell her. She needs the guidance anyway.

Ever since I told Cassidy off, I've been hesitant to tell Ally about it. I know she'd flip out on me and possibly turn me to fucki- freaking ash. She has that ability, you know (probably because she's new). For some reason she has more scorching embers.

Fucking shit, she's technically hotter than me.

…. I need to go mark two tallies on my 'swear chart' now.

On Monday, I walked into class fifteen minutes early with Ally by my side. Don't take me as the punctual kind, only Ally would come to an empty English classroom to look at some books and want me to come along. She wants to 'expand my horizons'. I could expand the horizons with my embers but nooooo, that's messing with our solar system. Whatever. Nerds.

Ally walked into Mr. Galloways' storage closet, as he gave her permission to look at the mini library in there. The books in the bookshelves that aligned the whole back of the classroom were assigned to each and every student, to make sure that they were reading, so we couldn't use those. I already read mine before, back in seventh grade, but my grades are sh- crappy, so I'm obviously a stupid high-schooler who's more content with a junior high kids' book. Whatever… dumbfucks.

Tally.

"Austin, you don't have to help with these heavy books or anything~" Ally said sarcastically from the storage room, and I rolled my eyes. "If they're heavy, they're textbooks. We already use those for classes. Come on, Ally, some classics have gotta be in there." I also said in a sarcastic tone, and she heaved a gruff sigh, which I knew she got from me. "Fine." she said simply. I smiled at my feet knowingly at her attitude.

After a few minutes of silence, I began lighting then blowing out an ember on my finger out of boredom.

Luckily, I had just blown out my twelfth little ember when I heard the door creak open. "In here," I heard a female voice speak up, "Nobody's gonna find us."

Fu- freaking Cassidy.

And guess who was with her? If you guessed Dallas, you're incorrect. It was the new kid Trent.

"Ahem." I grunted just before he was about to set her onto the teacher's desk. An irritating squeal left Cassidy's mouth as she heard me. "M-Mr. Galloway?" she questioned.

"Oh shit.." Trent whispered.

"Cassidy. Shitty to see ya." Tally. I flipped the lightswitch on that was right by the storage room. Both of them cringed from the sudden light exposure. She gasped and then gave me the ugliest glare I think I've ever witnessed. She purposely put her injured hand on display. Well, not really injured, the bandage had been taken off, but a red scab led from the tip of her finger to her knuckles. Served her right. "What are you doing here, asshole?" she sassed.

"Lookin' for something. Unfortunately, skank wasn't it." She scoffed and hopped off the desk, pressing herself into Trent's arms. He awkwardly wrapped them around her.

"Aye, Austin! I think I found some-" Ally walked out of the storage room holding a pile of about… four books. Wasn't she complaining about having to lift them earlier? I rolled my eyes as she stopped in her place, eyeing Cassidy and Trent. "Ah.. hiya." She greeted awkwardly, shuffling her feet.

Cassidy gave her a disgusted sneer. "Ugh, it's the geek. Still have no idea what the fuck you see in her, Austin." She had stepped away from Trent and began checking her reflection in her phone's camera. I honestly have no idea what came over me, but I always felt the need to use theatrics in front of Cassidy. Her reactions were worth any effort.

"Hm, probably 'cause she's better than you in… every way." Ally would have been blushing hardcore if her embers were cooler. I took a swaggering step towards her and grabbed the books out of her arms, leaning in closely 'till our faces were inches apart. "Thanks, Alls.." I murmured, smirking. She gave me an accusing and bemused stare as I stepped away to set the books down.

"And Cass, I mean every way." I repeated, then winked suggestively. It was fun to fu- screw around.

Ally's squawk of surprise nearly made me burst out laughing. I had to tightly purse my lips and pretend to examine the books in front of me. It was so hard to keep composure with Cassidy's eyes bulging out of their sockets and Ally's jaw dropped wide.

"What-fucking-ever, Austin. We're leaving." Cassidy grabbed Trent's hand after he slipped me a thumbs up with it, and stalked out of the room. After the door slammed shut, I collapsed onto the table in front of me in a laughing fit. "D-did you see her face?" I said to Ally indirectly while chuckling. After a few moments, I had calmed down a lot and all that was heard was my breathing. That was weird.

I turned around to face Ally, who was still staring at me with her mouth wide open. I held back another laughing fit and I quirked my eyebrow.

"Is your open mouth an invitation or are you struggling to generate the situation that just unfolded?"

"What on earth do you mean an invi- oh, shut up!" She whacked my arm and turned around to go back into the storage room as I burst out laughing again. She was already used to my lewd humor and I couldn't help but admire her even more for it.

I already forgot completely about what happened with Cassidy.

Afrocapabro. I swear that my chapters seem long but nothing ever freakin' happens in them. I promise that this'll change starting soon.
