Here is chapter 9...finally. Thank you for your support. It means so much to me...Enjoy!
Katherine gave a questioning look to Nadia who was in front of her waiting patiently for her to say something. "Come in." Katherine said unwillingly to Nadia and stepped aside for her to come in the room. Nadia got quickly in the room after making sure that Klaus was not around and Katherine closed the door behind her. "Take a seat." Katherine said and Nadia sat down on a chair that was in Katherine's room. "My princess...as you know I have an extreme respect for you and any other royalty in this palace..." Nadia started trying to pretend that she liked Katherine. Katherine narrowed her eyes. She was getting really impatient. "Just say what you have to say..." Katherine said sitting on her bed and bringing her palm on her forehead. It has been a long day. Fighting with Klaus, dealing with her growing feelings for Elijah and listening to Elena talking about the note and the flower all day long was too much. Nadia stood up and started pacing around the room. "My princess...the maidens are saying things about you." Nadia said in a calm satisfied tone. Katherine narrowed her eyes and frowned. "Define things." she said in a serious tone. "They are talking about you not being able to keep prince Klaus to yourself and princess Caroline catching his eye." Nadia said pretending to care about Katherine. Katherine took a deep breath and tried to deal with the growing anger inside of her. Yes she didn't feel anything about Klaus but she was clear to him from the beginning that she didn't want to be the item of discussion because of him and his affairs. "I thought that it was my duty to let you know my princess." Nadia said smiling while Katherine had her back turned towards her direction. "Thank you. You can go now." Katherine said coldly and opened the door for Nadia. Nadia stopped out of the door. "Please don't tell that I told you. They are going to fire me or even worse execute me if they find out." Nadia said in a pleading tone. "Don't worry about that." Katherine said and closed the door in Nadia's face. "Goodnight princess..." Nadia mumbled while walking away with satisfaction written all over her face.
Kol was in his room with Vicki who had gone there for her "reward". Suddenly the door knocked. Vicki looked at Kol terrified. "Go in the closet." Kol demanded and Vicki grabbed her corset and did as she was told. Kol in the speed of light grabbed his shirt from the floor and put ti back on but when the door knocked again he didn't bother to do it up. He rushed to the door and opened it to see an upset Bonnie checking him from top to toe with her green eyes. "It's ok you can come out." he said and Vicki got out of the closet. She froze when she saw Bonnie but Kol had already told her that she was going to cover up for them. She lowered her eyes and got out of the room. "Really?" Bonnie said trying not to show her jealousy. Kol smirked. "What brings you here Bonnie at that time?" Bonnie couldn't explain why...maybe it was the wine but she was feeling really relaxed around him. She walked past him entering into his room. Kol looked surprised and curious. He closed the door and joined her in the room. "What was that down there?" Bonnie asked narrowing her eyes. "What was what?" Kol asked smirking lightly. "We are lucky that Kai or anyone else didn't see you making signals to me. For God's sake I am starting to believe that you are putting your secret in danger more than I do." Bonnie said nervously. Kol laughed and decided to play a little with her. After all she still had a crush on him. He approached her until he was centimeters away from her. "So do you mind me doing signals to you?" he whispered looking deeply into her eyes. Bonnie blinked a few times. "I think Kai is already suspecting that we have more than the typicals. Earlier in the corridor he told me to keep my distance from you." Kol smiled. "Let him believe what he wants to. We are not doing anything bad are we? We just have a common secret Bonnie. How is this suspicious?" he said in a low voice. Bonnie lowered her eyes. "Just be more careful." she said and left. Kol returned to his bed. Bonnie closed her room door and opened her window. The sky was dark due to the clouds. The rain had stopped but thunders and lightnings were heard every now and then. She closed her eyes enjoying the breeze and thinking about what was she going to do. "How did I get envolved in this?" she mumbled. It was hurting her seeing Kol with Vicki and now she would have to cover up for them. Kol though knew what he was doing. By the way he was acting with her lately Bonnie had began to suspect that he knew her feelings about him and he was playing with her and that hurt her even more. She took off her dark green dress and put on her sleeping dress in the same colour. Her dress was long and it was leaving her shoulders bare. It was also ripped in the side revealing her left leg. She hanged her robe and lied on her bed. The light of the moon that was now revealed among the clouds was hitting on her beautiful chocolate skin. She slowly closed her eyes. Kol's image though wouldn't leave from her mind so easily.
Caroline was in front of her window smelling a rose that Klaus had cut for her on their way back to the castle. She closed her eyes not even trying to prevent the smile that formed to her lips. Afew meters away on the other window Klaus was also admiring the dark sky. From this part of the castle you could see the whole valley and the river and a part of the forest. Klaus jumped when he heard the knock on his door. He opened and was surprised to see Katherine. She seemed really pissed off. "Are you going to say anything or will you keep staring at me like that?" she said calmly but from the look she had on her face Klaus was sure that there was going to be a fight. "Come in." he said lowering his eyes. Katherine walked into the room after giving him a disapproving look. Klaus sighed and closed the door. "So...what can I do for you?" Klaus said. Katherine lifted her head and looked streight into his blue eyes. "I had a very interesting visit a few minutes ago." Katherine replied taking a step forward. Klaus narrowed his eyes. "Someone told me that the maidens are talking about me, that they are saying things...that I can't keep you to myself...that you want Caroline..." she started. Klaus lowered his eyes "Katherine..." he began but was interrupted "I was clear with you from the beginning. I don't love you and you don't love me but that doesn't mean that you can't respect me. You know that I hate being the item of discussion. I told you to be careful. And now every one is mumbling about me because of you and the Forbes princess. You did well Klaus. Well done." she said and tried to leave but Klaus blocked her way. "Wait Katherine. I didn't mean to hurt you. There is nothing going on between me and Caroline." Klaus said. "Not yet. Come on. It's so obvious. Just be careful and don't give them the opportunity to talk about us again. That's all I am asking." Katherine said and opened the door. "Thank you. You deserve better." Klaus said not even trying to look her in the eyes. Katherine left and Klaus thought about Elijah and the talk they had earlier this afternoon. He realized that Elijah was the only one who would make Katherine happy. Tomorrow he would have a chat with his brother. But that wasn't the only thing he had in his mind. Katherine's words were also there torturing his thoughts. What did she mean that it was so obvious? Was he really falling for Caroline?
Kai knocked his sister's door but he didn't bother for her to answer and he simply got into the room only to be surprised seeing Liv kissing Galen. When they heard the door they broke the kiss both of them looking down embarassed and a bit afraid. "Get out." Kai ordered Galen. He gave a last look to Liv and left quickly. "What was this? I was suspecting your future husband but you are not better." Kai said angrily to his sister. Liv was ready to cry but she found the strength to speak. "I can't take it anymore Kai. I mean Kol is fine and I was willing to love him but he obviously doesn't like me. What do you expect me to do? Sit here and wait? And I suggest you reconsider your relationship with Bonnie because she doesn't seem to be that into you." Liv said. "What did you just say? You are not hiding anything from me are you? I mean if you knew something about Bonnie you would tell me right?" Kai said. "Of course I would tell you brother but you know people talk...and all they have to say is that she is just pretending to care." Liv said touching her brother's shoulder. "She has no choice. She will marry me. She will love me eventually." Kai said in a low voice. "And what about you? Do you love her?" Liv asked. "I don't know. I have never felt love for any other girl. Maybe yes maybe no. Time will show but I am sure that I like her." Kai said and turned to face his sister. "Stop the affair with the servant and try to get your future husband's attention before people start talking." Kai said and left the room as soon as he saw Liv nodding silently.
Elena had visited her brother Jeremy for a talk in his chambers and was now returning to her room. She opened her door and walked in surprised. Her bed was again covered with red rose pedals and a rose was in the middle of the bed with a note attached on it. She walked towards the bed and picked up the note. "Look behind you?" she read and immidiately turned. Damon caressed her cheek. "I knew it was you..." she said.
It's not big I know I am sorry but I hope that this week I will make it up to you...more chapters are coming. Stay tuned...
