Chapter Nine:

A/N: My laptop is fixed! For now...there's no guarantee what BEN is gonna try next.

Anyway, here's the next chapter! Enjoy people!

It was late in the afternoon when we returned to the house. For once, I actually felt normal. A very strange feeling indeed.

Jeff and BEN decided to go head to head with some of the new games I bought on the way home for their enjoyment. Ty watched TV in the living room with Ginger, and I headed up to my parent's slash my new temporary room. I didn't dote on the fact that I was finally taking advantage of my parent's prolonged absence, using their room like this. But in this case, I'd rather sleep in this large bed than in my small bed with BEN and Jeff hugging on me.

A blush crept on my cheeks as I remembered this morning's events. Sure, Ty making BEN play dress-up was hilarious, but I wasn't able to forget how Jeff clung to me in his sleep.

And I was letting him.

'You were asleep,' I reminded myself. 'It wasn't as if you deliberately cuddled with him in your sleep, right?'

God, I hope so.

I shook out the sheets to occupy my time. It was barely 6 and I didn't really want to do anything. In the next room, I heard Jeff and BEN cursing loudly at each other.

"Dude, you glitched through the hoarde! That's not fair!" Jeff started.
"So what? There's no rules in the book that say that I can't do that!" BEN argued.

"But you're leaving me to deal with the damn infected now!" he said. "I bet you're gonna leave the Hunter and the Witch to me as well?"

"Maybe you should try to be nicer to me so that I'll help you," BEN said smugly.

"You're a fucking cheater," Jeff said.

"Language, guys!" I yelled from the other room. "There's a child downstairs!"

They quieted for a moment, then Jeff died in the game. Then chaos erupted.

"You motherfucker!" Jeff yelled. "You did that shit on purpose!"

I heard the two of them begin to fight physically. "I didn't know the Hunter would be that deadly. Maybe if you actually knew how to play the game, you would have survived," BEN said.

"You made the extra characters ignore my dying character, dude! They fucking walked right past me as that Hunter tore through me, and you did it on purpose! God, you're lucky that we're guests here, otherwise I would have already gutted you by now!"

More scuffling sounded and I seriously thought it was a good idea to separate them before things got worse.

Then an echoing knock sounded downstairs.

I dropped the sheets in my hand and rushed downstairs. Ty was peeking through the blinds to see who it was.

"Who is it?" I asked.

"Not a who," Ty said, "more like a what."
"Okay then, what is it?"

"It's a...husky."

"A what?" I asked.

"A great big husky. He's using his back paws on the door to knock."

I mentally gasped. This was no ordinary dog.

"Ty, go get Jeff and BEN," I said hurriedly. He took the hint and ran upstairs. I approached the door carefully, knowing fully well what was on the other side. I took the doorknob in my hand and unlocked the door, opening it slowly.

The husky jumped through, pinning me down and growling in my face. Fighting the urge to scream from the size of the threat, I took great care not to look in his eyes.

So I focused on the large grin plastered on his doggy mouth.

"Smile!" came a voice.

The dog, Smile, looked up from me in surprise.

"Get off of her now," the voice commanded. Whining, the husky backed off of me. I sat up and looked behind me at Jeff in his Creepypasta form.

"Oh thank goodness," I breathed. "For a second there, I thought I was gonna be doggy kibble,"

BEN chuckled, helping me to my feet. When we looked over at Jeff, Smile had already jumped on him, and the both of them were having a touching reunion.

You know, touching in a creepy kind of way.

Nonetheless, it was the reunion of both master and dog, therefore, it was heart-warming.

I know it was short, but I have much more planned. Much more...*evil laugh *

So what'd you guys think? To those of you who said that it was Smile Dog, congrats, you got it right! To those of you who didn't...sorry.

I have more coming for you, so stay in your seats!

Next Time, on Stuck;

"Jasmine! Smile is intimidating Ginger!" Ty yelled.

I stared at Emiko as she told me what was on her mind. "I want to come over tonight,"

I nearly choked on my soda, the caffeinated beverage burning my nose. She what?!

"Oh my God, is that really BEN?!" Emiko asked. Before anyone could react, she had already glomped the poor Link look-a-like.

I heard some kind of staticy noise again, and it wasn't my imagination. Why isn't Jeff hearing this?!

I crept into the hallway with my trusty Louisville Slugger in hand. That noise stopped, but I could feel a presense in the air. It was quite unnerving.

And the strange thing was, I was the only one to hear it.

"Hi," someone said.

WHACK!
